It was a trip with three middle-aged men. Last time, we spent our time playing golf on a trip that was postponed for a year due to 9/11. This time, one of the companions, who is from a certain prestigious yacht club, expressed a desire to go sailing, so I searched online.

Fortunately, we managed to book the fireworks for Friday. We parked the rental car in the parking area and arrived at the yacht harbor in just three minutes on foot. While looking for the ticket booth, I found two Hawaiian girls at the far end inside the booth. When I asked them in my broken English, it turned out to be a lucky coincidence. I wish they had provided a bit more information in the instructions.

Before departure, I took a picture of the sunset. Other participants included only us Japanese and a newlywed couple. The rest were about twenty Americans. The explanations were in English and were quite brief.

We set sail and navigated around Waikiki and Kahala. The view from the sea was breathtaking. I had an unpleasant memory of being swept away while windsurfing off Kahala when I was younger. We spent time until the fireworks with beer and light snacks, which were quite nice. I was surprised by the strength of the Hawaiian girl crew when they raised the sails.

We went back and forth in the bay until the fireworks, and everyone was in a state of "Are the fireworks really going to happen?" Gradually, as they lowered the sails and we were just floating around, the fireworks went off with a bang. I expected Japanese fireworks, but the fireworks off the coast of Hawaii were quite impressive as well. The older Americans danced to the music.

It lasted about ten minutes. I highly recommend it. As stated, a windbreaker is essential. We, the middle-aged men, were satisfied and headed back home.

以前若からし頃カハラに宿泊しウィンドサーフィンでカハラ沖に流されたイヤーな思い出とともに。
花火まではビール、軽食で過ごしましたがなかなか
でした。
クルーのハワイアンガールがセールを張る時の力の有る事に驚き。
湾内を花火まで行ったり来たりで皆「本当にはなびがあがるのー」状態
徐々にセールを降ろしチャップチャップした頃花火がドーン。
日本の花火を期待したらですがハワイ沖での花火も
中々なもの。
老齢のアメリカンはミュウ一ジックにダンス。
時間的には１０分程か。
お勧めしますよ。
説明通りウインドブレイカーは必須ですよー。
我々オジンも満足して帰路へ。

I used this service for my honeymoon. I was worried about whether the shuttle bus would actually come, but it arrived on time and called out names loudly, which was helpful. Until we reached the port, the guide spoke in English, but they also provided simple sightseeing information, so I wasn't bored. It was my first time parasailing, and I chose the 150m plan. Rather than feeling thrilling due to the height, it was a very graceful experience. If you’re not extremely afraid of heights, it’s not a scary activity.

I was worried when I read in the review that "you can get quite seasick," but I had so much fun that I forgot about any seasickness! On the same boat, there was another Japanese couple along with a family of eight Americans. Two American staff members were also on board. They communicated with us in broken Japanese, so it wasn't a problem even if you can't speak English. However, even though we didn't say we didn't want to get wet, everyone ended up staying dry. I've done parasailing a few times, but it was my first time in a spot where I could see the city of Waikiki!
Seeing the city from the sea was refreshing and felt really nice☆☆☆
Even while waiting, the boat rides were exhilarating and enjoyable^^
However, the restroom at the dock was extremely dirty and had no door, which was disappointing.
Once on the boat, you'll need to cram your belongings at your feet, so it might be a good idea to bring a plastic bag that you don't mind getting dirty.

The last time I went to Hawaii, I saw parasailing from Waikiki Beach and thought I would try it the next time I came to Hawaii. There were 12 people in 6 groups on the boat, and we took turns. I watched the first person, so I had an idea of what to expect. When I flew, the deep blue ocean was right below me. It was a bit scary at first, but when I looked up, I could see the buildings of Waikiki all at once. Since I was in the middle of the order, after I landed, I was able to comfortably watch the others while enjoying the cruise vibe. We could return to the hotel before 11 AM, so we could make the most of our day. If you plan to bring a camera while flying, I recommend using a strap that you can hang around your neck.

Since the younger child is in the second grade and small, we ended up flying as a group of four, which was a pleasant surprise as I didn't expect our family of four to be able to fly together. I participated on April 2, 2012. It was the last season for whale watching, but I was thrilled to see the whales spouting water. It was great that there were staff members who spoke Japanese. The location for boarding the boat and the check-in area were a bit difficult to find, so it would be better if that could be improved.

I was really excited to go to Hawaii, but I ended up feeling seasick due to lack of sleep and not feeling well. The waves were really strong, so it's definitely better to take anti-seasickness medication before going! The parasailing itself was a lot of fun, and the view from above was amazing! It does cost money, but we were able to buy the photos of ourselves up in the air, and it turned out to be a wonderful memory!

We had a beautiful afternoon for our parasailing adventure. The bus picked up right on time at the location specified. There were three of us in our party plus another mom and her son. Two crew members for a total of 7 on board the boat. The crew of 2 were very friendly and made us all feel at ease. Waters were pretty smooth considering our adventure started at 3pm.
The guys did have trouble deploying the parasail as the cords kept on tangling as they delpoyed it. Sort of made us feel a little uneasy, but you could tell the crew had experianced this issue before as it was quite windy and they did not get flustered at all. We all joked a little about the situation which made the time go by pretty quick. After the 3rd attempt, we were good to go. The views were wonderful and my wife and daughter and I all enjoyed our rides, one tandem and one single. A trolley came to pick us up and took us to the site, where we departed on a boat with ten people. Since we had to wait while others were flying, it was a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand.

I was unsure about the height difference, but I was glad I chose the 110-meter course. I probably wouldn't have noticed a difference even if it were increased by 20 meters...

Everyone made a slight splash in the sea. Some people only got their feet wet, but we ended up soaking our shirts. I heard that with a Dry Landing, you can avoid getting wet, but no one requested that.

Everyone bought an SD card for $30 for 40 photos. A total of 68 photos were taken, but the ones that were in focus...

It became a great memory.

It was definitely a good value. I went with my dad and my sister. My dad said among all activities we went to in Honolulu including Luau and circle island tour, this is cheapeast and most fun. So I would definitely recommend to whoever comes to honolulu for first time.

I think everyone should experience this at least once. It can be expensive, especially for the length of time you're actually gonna spend in the air. But if you're looking for something new (and does not easily get sea sick), this is for you.
