I was able to go to the Rock-A-Hula Luau green room package. I got to go explore backstage and get a tiny glimpse of how all the action happens. I also got to take a picture with Michael Jackson before the show. The staff and crew members were very kind and made sure that everything was to my liking. I described this show as a Luau like no other because it was a Luau with a twist. All the music were the classics from Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson with the local culture included into the dance routine and into the stage outfits. The show also featured a local girl with a beautiful voice. For those who would like to watch a Luau in cushioned chairs and indoors I would definitely recommend this Luau to you!

The atmosphere of the cruise felt like being in Hawaii, which was great! If you can speak English, I think it would be fun to communicate with various people.

Since it was Friday, we were able to see an impressive fireworks display.

金曜日でしたので、迫力のある花火がみれました。

I experienced a group lesson. We started practicing on small waves, and once everyone was able to ride them, we challenged ourselves with the bigger waves further out. The staff were also very accommodating, making it a great memory.

グループレッスンで体験しました。
最初は小さな波で練習して、みんなが乗れる様になったら沖の大きな波にチャレンジ出来ました。
スタッフの方も柔軟な対応で良い思い出になりました。

I was able to enjoy myself thoroughly in the seats in front of the stage. I appreciated the smooth change to non-alcoholic options for one person who couldn't drink. After the live show, we were also guided to the nearby fireworks that take place every Friday, which added to our enjoyment.

ステージの前の席で十分楽しむことができました。
お酒が飲めない1名に対してノンアルコーへの変更もスムーズで有難かったです。ライブの後、毎週金曜日に行われている近くの花火への案内もしていただき更に楽しむことができました。

I splurged a little and made a reservation for a VIP seat by the stage. First, we took photos with the star (playing the role of Elvis Presley), then enjoyed some snacks while sipping Mai Tais at the VIP welcome reception. We entered our seats next to the stage through the VIP entrance, and started our meal from the menu in the attached photo. The show began around the time we finished eating.

We enjoyed performances by Johnny Fortuno as Elvis Presley, Corey Melton as Michael Jackson, and Siena Sousa (a singer-songwriter based in Honolulu), along with hula dancing by Rock-a-Hula dancers. The highlight was the fire knife dance, and we were thoroughly entertained in the best seats, leaving us very satisfied. Initially, I thought it was a bit pricey, but after receiving a 10% discount, I was very pleased with the experience and the content.

ファイアーナイフダンスと盛りだくさんで飽きることなく一番良い席で大満足の鑑賞をすることができました。
最初は少し高い思っていましたが、10%割引きしてもらって、内容もよく大満足でした。

At first, I was anxious, but in the end, I had a lot of fun and was smiling. It does take a toll on your stamina though (^_^;). Oh, to my sushi-loving friend Cooguy, the kanpyo is not made from daikon but from "yugao fruit." I mistook it for dried daikon. I'm sorry! When you come to Japan, please eat lots of your favorite sushi (*^_^*).

初めは不安でしたが、最後は楽しくてニコニコでした。体力は奪われますけど(^_^;　あ、お寿司大好きなCooguyへ。かんぴょうは、大根ではなく「夕顔の実」でした。切り干し大根と勘違いしてました。ごめんなさい！日本に来たら、大好きなお寿司たくさん食べてくださいね(*^_^*)

This was my second time on a catamaran, and it was still amazing. The best part is that there are not many Japanese people, so I could fully enjoy the sunset cruise in Hawaii. The crew was also quick and responsive, which made for a pleasant experience.

今回2度目のカタマランでしたが、やはり最高でした。何といっても日本人が少ないことが良いです、ハワイ、サンセットクルーズを満喫出来ます。クルーの方も機敏で対応が良く気持ち良かったです。

On my first trip to Hawaii, I wanted to see an authentic hula dance show, so I booked this VIP course. I was excited as soon as I walked on the red carpet, and the welcome drink followed by dinner at the VIP seats was delightful. The lobster, along with the main steak and salmon, was satisfying in both volume and service. It was also great to be smoothly guided through the VIP entrance.

The show started with a surprise when a man was lowered upside down right in front of us (even though I had heard about it beforehand). The hula and Polynesian dances were of outstanding quality, and I was captivated by the professional performances. The dancers were incredibly sharp! The impersonations of Elvis and Michael were very well done, and the songs were perfectly suited to our generation (in our 60s), allowing us to enjoy the show from start to finish. The fireman show, where they handled flaming torches, left me in awe—how could they hold those?! I was overwhelmed the entire time.

I also purchased a photo taken with Michael, which became a wonderful memory. I would love to come back to see it again when I visit Hawaii next time.

初めてのハワイ旅行で、本場のフラダンスショーを見てみたいと思い、こちらのVIPコースを予約してもらいました。まず通されるレッドカーペットに気持ちが盛り上がり、ウェルカムドリンクからの、VIP席でいただくディナー。ロブスターをはじめ、メインのステーキ、サーモンなどボリュームもサービスも満足いくものでした。VIP用入り口からスムーズに案内していただけたのもよかったです。
ショーは、まず目の前に降りてきた逆さ吊りの男性に驚き（事前に聞いていたのに）、
フラ、ポリネシアンダンスはクオリティが素晴らしく、プロのパフォーマンスに釘付けになりました。ダンサーのみなさんの身体のキレがすごい！ エルビス、マイケルのモノマネも、非常に上手く、また私たちの年代（60代）にがっちり合った曲ばかりで、最初から最後まで楽しめました。 火のついたたいまつを操るファイアーマンショーは、目の前で見ても、何故あれを持てるのか！？ 終始圧倒されました。
マイケルと一緒に撮った写真も購入して、とっても良い思い出になりました。また、ハワイに来る際には観にきたいと思います。

I thought I wouldn't be able to expect a good meal with a dinner cruise, so I chose a sailing option with free-flow drinks. Although I'm not great on boats, I didn't feel any seasickness at all. The sunset, with its blend of orange and blue turning into pink, was incredibly beautiful, and I was moved to tears by the beauty of nature.

They served alcohol, including Mai Tais and champagne, and for a quick two-hour activity before dinner, it was affordable and just right.

The cruise takes you right in front of Diamond Head from the Sheraton. You can take plenty of picturesque photos.

Overall, I was healed by the beauty of the sky that can only be appreciated from the sea.

ディナー付のクルージングだと食事が期待できないと思い、フリーフロードリンク付きのセイリングを選びました。船に弱い私ですが、船酔いは全くなく、サンセットと、オレンジと水色が混ざり合って、ピンクにもなった空がそれはそれは素晴らしく綺麗で、自然の美しさに涙が出ました。
アルコールもマイタイやシャンパンも出て、ディナー前に2時間程のクイックアクティビティとしては、お手頃でちょうど良かったです。
シェラトンからダイアモンドヘッドの目の前まで行ってくれます。
絵になる写真もたくさん撮れますよ。
とにかく海からしかわからない空の美しさに癒されました。

It was truly amazing. There were only three couples, including us, who were Japanese participants, but we had a great time. That day, there was someone celebrating a birthday, and everyone got so excited that we almost forgot about the sunset. We will definitely go again next time.

本当に最高でした。日本人の参加者は私たち夫婦を含め3組だけでしたが楽しかったです。その日、誕生日の人がいて、サンセットを忘れるくらい全員で盛り上がりました。次回も必ず行きます。

All I can say is it was exactly what we wanted. Great Great and Great!

It was really great. There were a lot of dishes, but it was a bit difficult to line up. The show was wonderful.

This is a tour that allows you to easily enjoy the view of Waikiki from the sea. Since it's a Friday night cruise, you can enjoy watching the Hilton fireworks. The night breeze can be a bit chilly, so I think a jacket is necessary. I felt that there were more non-Japanese participants. When getting on and off the boat, your feet may get wet from the waves, so please wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet.

海からワイキキの景色をお手軽に楽しめるツアーです。金曜の夜のクルージングなのでヒルトンの花火を観ながら楽しむことができます。夜風は少し肌寒いので上着が必要だと思います。日本人以外の方の方が多かったように感じました。乗る時降りる時波で足が濡れるので、濡れても良い服装で参加してください〜

I participated in a class starting at 3 PM. After watching a video at the shop on the first floor of the hotel, we walked to the ocean. We practiced on land before taking turns surfing. There were about 10 people in the group lesson, with 3 instructors. They taught us while occasionally mixing in some broken Japanese. For now, everyone in my family was able to stand up. As for whether we were actually riding the waves, that's a bit questionable... I was able to enjoy surfing in Hawaii!

15時からのクラスに参加しました。ホテル1階のお店でビデオを見てから歩いて海へ。陸で練習してから順番に波乗り。グループレッスンで10人くらいいました。先生は3人。時々片言の日本語混ぜながら教えていただきました。取りあえず家族は皆立つことは出来ました。波に乗っているかというと少しあやしいかな‥

The sunset cruise last time was on the Star of Honolulu, but this one was definitely more fun. The captain, crew, and guests were all amazing! The champagne was unlimited, and it was so enjoyable that I ended up drinking too much. I hit it off with other guests on board, and after disembarking, we all got together and had a great time. It was really fun, and the sunset was beautiful... I highly recommend it.

前回のサンセットクルーズはスターオブホノルル号でしたが、断然こちらの方が楽しかったです。
キャプテンもクルーもお客様も最高♪
シャンパンも飲み放題で楽しくて飲みすぎちゃうくらいでした。乗り合わせたほかの方とも意気投合して下船したあとはご一緒して盛り上がりました。
ほんとに楽しくてサンセットも美しくて…。

I attended Rock-A-Hula for the first time this past week and it was really entertaining! I went with a couple friends and we chose the Green Room Tour. With this package we were sat at a stage-level table so we were closest to the performers. The three course meal included lobster, beef tenderloin, salmon and was completed with a yummy mac-nut pineapple gelato. The cocktails were really good, my favorite was the lychee martini! It was really fun to be able to take photos with Michael Jackson before the show and they also offered us a complimentary glass of champagne. The show was very exciting and entertaining; my favorite performer was the local artist Meliana. All of the dancers, musicians, and singers were very talented and seemed like they all had a ton of fun up on stage. Overall, it was a great night and I would recommend it to anyone on vacation wanting a fun and entertaining night out.

First, before entering the venue, I enjoyed stylish drinks and snacks. I was surprised by the luxurious atmosphere from the start!

During dinner, I was delighted to have dishes like lobster and coconut ice cream that made me feel like I was in Hawaii. At the show, I got to see the hula dance performance I was looking forward to, along with songs from a rock singer. The hula dancers each showcased their unique and captivating styles, which was a lot of fun. The most memorable and exciting part was the songs and dances of Michael Jackson. On the way back, I even got to take a photo with Michael Jackson!

I was very satisfied with the luxurious dinner and show! I highly recommend it if you come to Hawaii!

まず、会場に入る前におしゃれな飲み物とおつまみを楽しめました。初めから豪華でびっくりです！
ディナーでは、ロブスターやココナッツアイスなどが食べられ、ハワイを感じられる料理で嬉しかったです。ショーではお目当てのフラダンスショーに、ロック歌手の歌を聞くことができました。フラダンスでは、ダンサー1人ひとりの個性ある魅力的なダンスを見ることができ楽しかったです。また、一番印象に残り、盛り上がったのはマイケルジャクソンさんの歌とダンスでした。帰りにマイケルジャクソンさんと写真も撮ってもらいました！
豪華なディナーとショーで大満足です！！ハワイに来たらとてもおすすめです！

Although there was a delay from the meeting point to departure, I really enjoyed the time spent on the boat thanks to the thoughtful arrangements. The Mai Tai was truly delicious.

待ち合わせから出発までが遅れましたが、船上でゆっくりと過ごせるよう配慮くださりとても楽しめました。マイタイ本当に美味しかったです。

There were few fish, and the only things to see were artificial structures and a sunken ship. I started to feel sleepy. The only time I got excited was when I was on the boat heading to the submarine, feeling the wind... I think it would have been more enjoyable if there had been more marine life. This isn't really the tour company's fault, though...

魚も少ないし見るものと言えば人工的に沈めた枠とか沈没船かな。眠くなってしまいました。テンションが上がったところと言えば潜水艦に向かう船で風に吹かれてるときかな・・・。もう少し生き物がいてくれたら楽しかったと思う。こればっかりはツアー会社のせいじゃないけど・・・。

The content of the show was diverse and very enjoyable without being boring.

When you arrive at the reception, you need to obtain a printed paper with a barcode. Just to be safe, I arrived around 16:40, and there were only about two groups ahead of me in the general line. Since you sit in a vertical line, if you arrive late, you might end up behind tall people, making it hard to see, so I recommend arriving early. Those with priority definitely get in before the general admission, so there is quite a wait between entry and the commemorative photo session. Even after being seated, you have to wait for those who arrived later, so it can feel long while holding a drink. With the buffet-style food, you can only go around once, and because there are many people, you will have to wait. I recommend taking a larger portion of food. If you don’t mind waiting, it’s not a problem, but since it’s in a foreign country with English all around, it can feel like you're waiting longer than the time spent watching the show. However, surprisingly, there were no children throwing tantrums, perhaps because they understood it was a special place.

ショーの内容はバラエティ豊かで飽きずにとても良かったです。

受付に到着したら、バーコードが印字された紙の発行が必要です。念のため16：40ごろに到着したら、一般では前には2組ほどしかいなかったです。縦並びに座るので遅くくると背の高い人の後ろになって見にくくなるので、早めがオススメです。一般より上の方が断然優先なので、入場から記念撮影の間がとにかく待ちます。着席しても、今度は後ろに並んでる人から遅めにきた人まで待つのでドリンク片手に長い。1周しか取れないブュッフェスタイルのフードを取るにも、人数が多いだけあって待ちます。フードは多めに取ることをお勧めします。並ぶのは苦じゃない方ですが、異国で英語が飛び交う中なので、ショー見てる時間より長いんじゃないかって感じてしまいます。でも、子供は意外にも特別な場所ということが分かるせいかぐずってる子はいませんでした。

You don't need to arrive before the reception time since others are quite relaxed about it. It's not a first-come, first-served situation...

Once the submarine dives, it stabilizes, so I didn't feel nauseous or experience any pressure changes. I joined a tour without a Japanese guide, but if you're just looking to enjoy the ocean, it's not a problem.

The handsome guide, Jordan, was hard to understand at all. I found the earphone guide a bit bothersome and took it off halfway through. I was satisfied to see turtles and sharks.

受付時間前に行かなくても他の方がルーズなので大丈夫です。早い者勝ちとかではないので・・・
潜水艦は潜ると安定してるので気持ち悪くなったり気圧が変になることはなかったです。
日本語ガイドがいないツアーに参加しましたが、純粋に海を楽しむなら問題ないです。
イケメンガイドさんのジョーダンが全く分からないくらいです。イヤホンガイドは途中面倒くさくて外してしまいました。亀やサメも見れて満足です。

I was unsure at first, but choosing the VIP course was definitely the right decision. You can get excited right away at the VIP entrance with the red carpet. The dinner was delicious and the portion size was just right; I was almost completely satisfied except for the drinks being a bit weak. In the VIP seats, the cast comes down to the floor, creating a great sense of connection with the stage. You can take photos as long as you don’t use a flash! I thought it was a show that truly represents Hawaii.

迷いましたがVIPコースで大正解でした。レッドカーペットのVIP入場口でまず盛り上がれます。ディナーもおいしく量もちょうどよく、ドリンクが薄いこと以外はほぼ満足でした。ＶＩＰ席はキャストがフロアまで下りてきてくれるので、舞台と一体感がありますよ。フラッシュ無しであれば撮影もＯＫ！ハワイならではのショーだと思いました。

We participated as a family. My daughter, who is 21 and has a baby face, was checked for ID, but after that, we had a great time with the captain and crew. They were very accommodating with photos, and their service spirit was wonderful. It seems that the number of Japanese participants has been increasing year by year.

家族での参加でした。娘が21歳で（童顔）IDチェックされましたが、その後、キャプテンやクルーと楽しく過ごしました。写真撮影も気軽に応じてくれてサービス精神も素晴らしいです。日本人の参加者も年々増えてきたように思います。

I was considering a show at the Polynesian Cultural Center located in the northeast of Oahu, but I made a reservation for this dinner show at the Royal Hawaiian Center, which is very conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki. The female singer's vocal ability, the impersonator of Michael Elvis, and the dancers' sharp performances provided an emotional entertainment experience from start to finish. The show also featured hula and fire dancing, allowing us to fully enjoy the Hawaiian atmosphere. The meal included a lobster appetizer and a double main of salmon steak, which was quite substantial. The service staff were also very pleasant.

オアフ島北東にあるポリネシアカルチャーセンターのショーを検討していましたが、こちらのディナーショーはワイキキの真ん中にあるロイヤルハワイアンセンターというアクセスがとても便利なロケーションなので予約しました。女性シンガーの歌唱力やマイケル・エルビスのそっくりさん、ダンサーたちのキレキレのパフォーマンスで最初から最後まで感動のエンターテイメントでした。フラダンスやファイヤーダンスも散りばめられて、ハワイの雰囲気もしっかり味わえました。食事はロブスターの前菜とサーモン・ステーキのダブルメインでボリュームたっぷり。サービススタッフも感じがよかったです。

I ordered show tickets only (with a photo option on a backing card) for my 0-year-old child. We entered as soon as the doors opened and first took some photos. After that, we sat in the free seating area, but it's better to arrive early to get a good spot. Since I had a child with me, I planned to change the diaper in the venue's restroom, but there was no changing table, so be careful. I had to go outside to find a restroom on the same floor. This was my second time at the show, and it was fun because the cast seemed to change frequently. This time, there was Presley, Michael, and a female singer from Hawaii?

0歳の子連れでショーチケットのみ（台紙付き写真オプション）を頼みました。開場と同時に中に入り、まずは写真を撮影します。
そのあと自由席で着席するのですが、早めに行く方が良い場所を取れます。
子連れだったのでおむつ替えを会場トイレでしようと思ったのですがおむつ替えの台がないので要注意、一旦外に出て同じフロアのトイレに行きました。
ショーは2回目ですが、キャストが色々変わるみたいで楽しかったです。
今回はプレスリー、マイケル、ハワイ出身の女性歌手？でした。

Elvis Presley is from a different generation, but Michael Jackson really got the crowd going. It was fun with a mix of hula dancing and fire dancing. I chose to attend the show only without the buffet, and that was enough. Although we were told to gather at 7:30, we had to wait a bit until the show started at 8. I think it would have been nice to enter the venue a little earlier than 8.

エルビスプレスリーは世代が違うのですが、マイケルジャクソンは盛り上がりました。フラダンスやファイヤーダンスも入り混ざってて楽しかったです。
ビュッフェなしショーのみの観覧を選択しましたが、十分でした。7時半集合との事でしたが、8時のショー開始まで少し待たされました。8時まえに会場入りしてもよかったかなと思います。

On the last day, I joined this tour to find a place to play in Honolulu in the morning. We took a boat from downtown Honolulu to a spot that wasn't too far away. Honestly, I thought it was a bit too close, but I was able to see at least three sea turtles! The water was a bit deep, so it wasn't incredibly clear, but the sea turtles were golden and divine! Moreover, I was able to see them come up to the surface for air, and at that moment, I was truly moved to be swimming so close to the sea turtles!

The cruising after snorkeling was just a slow ride around near Honolulu, so it wasn't particularly exciting, but I was very satisfied because I got to see the sea turtles!

最終日、午前中にホノルルで遊べるところを探してこのツアーに参加しました。ホノルルの中心部から船に乗って、それほど離れていないところまで移動、正直近すぎるポイントだなと思いましたが、ウミガメが少なくとも3頭見れました！少し水深は深いところなので海がめちゃめちゃキレイというわけではないのですが、ウミガメは金色で神々しい！しかも息継ぎに海面に顔を出すところまで見れて、その時にはほんとに間近でウミガメと泳ぐことが出来て感動です！
シュノーケリングした後のクルージングは、ホノルル近くをゆっくり走行しただけなので、それほど楽しいこともなかったのですが、ウミガメを見れたので大満足です！

I went to see it with my mother 25 years ago, and it became a wonderful memory. This time, we decided to go again after a long while. The food was very delicious. The stage performances, with live bands, featured amazing singing and dancing. I was happy to feel like I met the late Michael, and IZ's singing voice was also remarkably similar. Both Elvis and Michael had powerful voices even with their intense dancing, and I thought they were true professionals. There were also hula and Polynesian dances, allowing for a variety of enjoyable elements. This time also became a great memory. The people at the table next to us mentioned it was their second time during this trip. I highly recommend it!

25年前に母と二人で見に行き楽しい思い出になっています。
今回久しぶりに行ってみようと言うことになりました。
お食事はとても美味しかったです。
ステージも生バンドに合わせて歌やダンスが素晴らしかったです。
亡くなったマイケルに会えたようで嬉しかったし、IZの歌声もそっくりでした。
エルビスもマイケルも激しい踊りでもとても声量がありプロだなぁと思いました。フラやポリネシアンダンスもあり色々な要素で楽しめます。
今回もいい思い出になりました。
お隣のテーブルの方はこの旅行中に2回目だと話していました。

Unfortunately, the day of the event was marked by on-and-off rain, but once the cruise started, we could see a rainbow over Diamond Head the entire time, and it was truly beautiful!

I participated alone, and since the guide spoke English, I was initially anxious. However, both the guide and the captain of the cruise ship were friendly and charming women who really lifted the atmosphere, making it enjoyable.

Additionally, most of the other participants were older couples from Western countries, and it seemed rare to see a Japanese woman participating alone, so everyone came over to talk to me, which kept me from getting bored, haha.

Next time, I want to invite my mother and join again!

残念ながら参加日は雨が降ったり止んだりでしたが、クルーズが始まると終始虹がダイアモンドヘッドに掛かっているのが見えて本当にキレイでした！
1人で参加し、ガイドも英語だったので最初は不安でしたが、ガイドとクルーズ船の船長さんが2人とも気作な可愛らしい女性で場を盛り上げてくれて楽しかったです。
また、ほかの参加者はだいたい欧米人の老夫婦が多かったのですが、日本人女性が1人で参加しているのが珍しかったのかみんな話し掛けてきてくれて退屈しませんでしたw
次は母を誘ってまた参加したいです。

They say to shoot for the stars...so why not go for as many stars as you can? Now that I've been on the three star and the five star dining options, I can honestly say that the five star is worth the extra money. Both dining options were enjoyable and both exceeded my expectations. The quality of the food and service were excellent on both cruises, but I preferred the extra elegance of the five star. From the private welcome reception with the captain on the upper deck, to the live Jazz music, and the less crowded dining room, the five star was truly a luxurious experience.
