About a year ago, I participated, and this year we're going to Hawaii with the same members. Everyone agreed to sign up again this year! Here’s my experience, albeit a bit late.

We were blessed with great weather and were able to see a wonderful sunset. While enjoying delicious Mai Tais on the cruise and counting down to the moment the sun disappeared over the horizon, we had a fantastic time.

Looking forward to this year as well! ♪

約１年前に参加、同じメンバーで今年もハワイに行きますが、メンバー全員今年も申込もうね！となり、今更ながらの体験談です。
天候にも恵まれ素晴らしいサンセットを見ることができました。
だんだんと沈む太陽をみながら、おいしいマイタイをいただきクルーズ、
そして水平線に消えていく瞬間までのカウントダウンと、素晴しいひと時を過ごしました。
今年もよろしくお願いします♪

For the English lesson, there were some details I didn't fully understand, but the instructors provided solid support, so I was able to enjoy surfing!

I was also happy that they took photos of me while surfing.

It was my first time surfing in the ocean, but I was able to stand up and had a great time!

英語でのレッスンのため、細かい事分からない部分もありましたが、インストラクターの方々がしっかりサポートしてくださるので、楽しくサーフィンできました！

サーフィンをしている姿を写真に撮ってくれるのも、嬉しいです。

海でサーフィンは初めてでしたが、立つ事ができ、楽しめました！

The weather was somewhat cloudy, but on the boat, we were the only two Japanese people. Thanks to the cheerful and handsome captain and the lively bartender, we had the best sailing experience. While enjoying the beautiful night view of Miami and listening to pop music, we tacked off Diamond Head and headed towards Ala Moana. By the time we were done, everyone had become friends, and it turned into an amazing sailing experience. I think this is an event that everyone should experience at least once when visiting Hawaii.

天候はやや曇りがちでしたが、船上は日本人は我々二人だけでしたが陽気でハンサムな船長とノリノリのバーテンダーにより最高のセーリングが楽しめました。綺麗なマイアミの夜景を見ながらPOPな音楽を聴きながらダイヤモンドヘッド沖でタックしてアラナモア方面を回るころには全員が仲良くなって大盛り上がりで最高のセーリングになりました。HAWAIIに来たなら一度は経験すべきイベントだと思います。

We take a boat out to the submarine. We glide past canoes and surfers, enjoying views of Honolulu's beaches and cityscape, as well as Diamond Head from the sea before boarding. We also enjoyed a short cruise. At the bottom of the ocean, there are not only fish but also sea turtles and eels...

潜水艦に乗る沖合まで船で行きます。
カヌーや波乗りの横をすり抜け、ホノルルのビーチと街並み、ダイヤモンドヘッドを海側から眺めてから乗船です。短い時間のクルーズも楽しめました。
海の底には、魚のほかにもウミガメやウツボも、、、

This was my first surfing experience in Hawaii, even though I've been there several times! The group lessons with Hands Heideman Hawaii Local Surfing Lessons were so much fun, as the instructors helped us a lot and made it easy to ride the waves. I want to make this a routine every time I come to Hawaii from now on!＼(^^)／ I think it would be difficult to enjoy surfing like that without the instructors. Everything, including the timing, was just perfect, and I am truly satisfied. I can't find any complaints. Thanks to them, I was able to enjoy the Hawaiian sea even more than usual!! ✩.*˚ Thank you so much! ((﹡ˆ︶ˆ﹡))

ハワイは何度と行かせてもらっていながら、はじめてのハワイサーフィン体験でした！

Seeing the turtles was so fun and the guys that helped us get all set were amazing. They filled our drinks after and made she we were well taken care of.

It was a great sunset (as almost all are in Hawaii) meeting some new friends and having some fun with a lively crew. Would recommend for family entertainment as well as enjoyable for 'just the two' of you. It was great to have the pre-boarding show and get to meet some of the crew/cast. The food was good and the crew took very good care of of all.

I thought dinner was included, but it turned out to be just a show without dinner, so I couldn't eat. The reservation site is confusing. I wanted to immerse myself in a Hawaiian mood and see the fire dance, so I made a reservation, but it was just a brief appearance at the very end. The performances by Elvis and Michael were long, and I was starting to think I might not get to see the fire dance at all. The dance was erotic and wonderful, but it was too stimulating for families with children.

Anyway, I'm really disappointed. I would have rather spent my money on something else.

夕飯付きだと思ったら夕飯なしのショーだけのタイプで食べられませんでした。予約サイトがわかりにくいです。ハワイアンな気分に浸りたくてファイヤーダンスをみたいと思い予約しましたが、最後の最後で一瞬の登場。それまでのエルビスやマイケルが長くて、もしかしたらファイヤーダンスは見れないのかと思っていたくらい。ダンスもエロティックで、素晴らしいけど子連れには刺激が強過ぎた。
とにかくがっかり。これなら別のことにお金払った。

This is basically the flow of the evening.
The prices vary depending on the seats, but you could see the stage from any seat.
The show included hula dancing, singing, audience participation, and a grand finale with fire dancing—there was so much to enjoy!
It was the perfect show to enjoy a night in Hawaii.
After watching the show, you receive a discount voucher for the bar next door at the Hilton, so you can savor a drink while relishing the afterglow of the show... it was just fantastic!

基本はこんな流れです。
席によって値段が違いますが、どの席からでもステージが見れました。
ショーはフラダンスあり、歌あり、お客さんを引っ張り出しての余興あり、ラストのファイアーダンスまで盛りだくさん！
ハワイの夜を楽しむには最高のショーでした。
ショーを鑑賞した後は、隣のヒルトンにあるバーの割引券がもらえるので、ショーの余韻を感じながら一杯・・・なんて最高なこともできたり。

The school teacher was very kind and taught us well, and all the staff were nice, creating a great atmosphere!! My wife and I went together, and both of us were able to stand up; it was truly the best school! I would like to go again when I visit Hawaii!

スクールの先生は丁寧に教えてくださり、スタッフの方皆さんいい方でとても雰囲気が良かったです！！
妻と2人で行ったのですが、2人とも立つことが出来て本当最高なスクールでした！
またハワイに行った時には行きたいと思います！

I wasn't sure where to meet, so I checked the location in advance. I wanted to see the fireworks, so I'm glad I made an early reservation. The waves I was worried about turned out to be fine, and I was just enchanted by the night view and the fireworks! If I were to see this happiness in a flashback at the end of my life, I would want to savor it once more! I ended up crying. Thank you for the delicious drinks. It can get a bit windy, so having a jacket would be good.

集合場所がわからなく、事前に場所を確認しました。花火を観たくていたので、早目の予約をして良かった。
心配だった波は大丈夫なくらいでした、とにかく夜景と花火にうっとり！人生の最後に走馬灯に見るならこの幸せをもう一度噛みしめたい！と泣いてしまいました。美味しいお酒ありがとうございます。少し風があったらするので、上着が有ると良い。

Good cruise, but will get on a larger cat next time

There were various happenings before boarding the submarine, which was quite amusing. Exploring underwater in the submarine was very enjoyable, and the children were wide-eyed watching. The fish swarming around the artificial reef and the sea turtles looked very cute. I would love to see it again with my family.

潜水艦に乗るまでに色々ハプニングあり面白かったです。
潜水艦で海中探索とても楽しく子供たちが目を丸くして見ていました、
人工漁礁に群がる魚や、ウミガメがとても可愛く見ていました、また家族で見たいと思います。

I reserved VIP seats for myself, my 3-year-old child, and my parents. I thought the price for the child was high, but I was surprised that the meals for both the child and the adults were exactly the same. Next time, I would like to see a buffet option as well.

主人、子(3歳)、両親とVIP席を予約しました。子供の料金にしては、高いと思いましたが、子供と大人の料理が全く一緒だったので、驚きました。次はブュッフェでも、いいのでまた見たいと思いました。

Last year, we could only make a reservation for the daytime cruise since it was already night when we arrived. This year, we made our reservation through VELTRA from Japan, so we were able to depart with peace of mind.

We have only been on the Holokai Catamaran, but the difference from last year was that we departed from in front of the Halekulani. This was a bit inconvenient.

We had the same captain as last year, and we were grateful that he was attentive both during boarding and after we set sail. He started with fast-paced English to liven up the atmosphere, but we were given a list of instructions and drink menus in Japanese, so there was no confusion at all.

People enjoyed themselves in various ways: some quietly, some danced, some sang, and others took photos with the props provided. The atmosphere varies with the crowd each time, but this time, we were moved to witness a proposal scene (the one where he kneels and asks, "Will you marry me?").

The daytime cruise is certainly fun, but no matter how many times I go, the moment of tranquility as the sun sets is simply unforgettable.

昨年は到着後に既に夜がいっぱいで昼の回しか予約出来ず、今年は日本からVELTRAを通じて予約したので安心して出発出来ました。
私達はホロカイカタマラン号しか乗ったことがありませんが、昨年との違いはハレクラニ前から出航したことです。
これはちょっと面倒でした。
昨年と同じキャプテンで、乗船時や乗船後も気にかけてくれてありがたかったです。
場を盛り上げるために終始早口の英語でスタートしますが、日本語で書かれた注意事項やドリンクメニューの一覧を渡されるので困る事は一切ありません。
静かに楽しむ人、踊る人、歌う人、用意された被り物で写真を撮る人、思い思いに楽しめます。
客層によって毎回雰囲気が違いますが、今回はプロポーズのシーン(ひざまづいてWill you marry me?のやつ！)に立ち会えて感動も倍増。
昼のクルーズももちろん楽しいのですが、
何度乗っても夕陽が沈む頃の静寂がたまらない瞬間です。

I joined to see the sunset-dyed sea from the water, but unfortunately, it was hidden by clouds, so I couldn't see it. However, a strong and cool woman was handing out Mai Tais, which lifted everyone's spirits and made for a fun sailing experience.

夕焼けに染まる海を海上から見たくて参加しましたが、雲に隠れてしまい、残念ながら見られませんでした。でも、逞しくて、カッコいい素敵な女性が、マイタイ を配りながら、皆さんを盛り上げ、楽しいセーリングになりました。

After a relaxing time at the beach, my daughter and I joined in, dressed up just a little. (laughs) The dinner was delicious. There was absolutely no stiffness at all. However, I thought it might be a bit disappointing for repeat visitors that there hasn't been any change in the menu for a long time. Also, while it's understandable if the place is full, I would appreciate it if the spacing between tables could be adjusted a bit when there is room available. As for the show, all the performers were wonderful. Presley had a friendly vibe. And above all, the beautiful smiles of the hula dancers, like flowers, always make me feel how amazing it is to come to Hawaii. Michael, who was one of the highlights, sounded just like him from the very first note, and I enjoyed listening nostalgically. The fire dance that appeared in the second half was also full of excitement, making it a very enjoyable time.

ビーチでのんびりとした後、娘と二人で参加しました、ほんの少しオシャレをして。(笑)
ディナーも、美味しく頂きました。堅苦しさなど全くありません。ただ、長い間、全くメニューに変化がないと言うことは、リピーターには少し残念なことなのでは？と思ったりしました。又、満席ならば仕方ありませんが、席に余裕がある場合は、臨機応変に、お隣とのテーブルの間隔を少し広げて頂ければ、有り難いなと感じました。ショーについては、演者の皆さん素敵でした。気さくな感じのプレスリー。そして、何より、フラの方達の花のような美しい笑みは、ハワイに来る度に、素晴らしいなぁと感じています 。
一番の楽しみでもあったマイケルも、第一声からソックリだったので、懐かしく聴き入りました。後半に登場するファイアーダンスも迫力満点で、とても楽しい時間になりました。

I participated with my family of three (my wife, our fifth-grade son, and myself) during the flying stone holiday in October. In the past, I had gone on a company trip to Guam and watched a luau at a certain domestic place, and I wanted to show my family that experience, especially since it included a meal.

◇ Good Points
- About half of the participants were Japanese, which allowed us to somewhat feel like we were abroad in Hawaii.

◇ Disappointing Points
- The show’s production was too tailored to American tastes, making it hard to feel the essence of Hawaii.
- The food was also very American.
* I was expecting luau dishes (like roasted pig), but...
- I opted for the economy course to save money, but the difference in service compared to the higher-tier course was too stark (though this might be due to the price difference).
* In the higher-tier course, seats are closer to the front, and the seating and buffet meal guidance are prioritized. Additionally, leis are given to everyone, making the visual difference between us common folks and others painfully clear and causing unnecessary feelings of inferiority.

◇ Overall Impression
I found the production very disappointing, and the fire dance show I saw at the certain domestic place might have been more impressive. I thought I was paying a decent amount for Hawaii, but I only got one welcome Mai Tai, and I regretted that I would have been better off having a steak outside. Well, my wife and son were happy, so I guess that’s okay...

◇ Additional Note
By the way, there is a bar where you can buy drinks with cash if you want, so parents who enjoy alcohol can rest assured.

１０月の飛石連休の中で家族三人（嫁＋小五息子＋自分）と参加しました
過去、自分だけ社員旅行で行ったグアムと○ワイ○ンズ（某国内）でルアウを観ていて、家族にも見せたいという思いと食事付きという内容により参加しました。

◇良かったところ
・ハワイにしては日本人の参加者が半分位で外国に来た気分が多少味わえました。

◇残念なところ
・ショーの演出がアメリカ人好みの演出すぎてあまりハワイを感じられなかった。
・食事もアメリカン
　※ルアウ料理（子豚ちゃんの丸焼き？など）を期待していたのに・・・
・値段をケチってエコノミーコースを申し込んだのですが、上のコースとのサービスの差が激しすぎる（これは値段の差なのでしょうがないかも）
　※上級コースだと席が前の方というのもあるけど、席への案内も食事（ブュッフェ式）の案内も先。さらにレイが全員にプレゼントされ、我々庶民との差がビジュアル的に一目瞭然で余計な劣等感を感じてしまう。

◇総評
自分としては演出がとても残念だったし、ファイヤーダンスなどは寧ろ「○ワイ○ンズ（某国内）」でみたショーの方が迫力があったかも。
ハワイでもそこそこの値段を払ったつもりなのに、酒 もウェルカムマイタイの一杯だけで、普通に外でステーキでも食べた方が良かったと後悔しています。
まぁ、嫁と小五の息子は喜んでいたからまぁ良いか・・・

◇補足
ちなみに、お酒はバーがあって飲みたければ現金払いでも買えるのでお酒好きのお父さんお母さんはご安心ください。

The shuttle service was excellent, and there were staff members who spoke Japanese, so I felt安心して楽しめました until the end. The waves were so big that I was surprised by the rocking during the meal while we were docked. Several people were feeling seasick, so I think it's best to be prepared if you're going to board.

送迎もバッチリで、日本語が話せるスタッフもいて最後まで安心して楽しめました。

My first surfing experience in life.

I was skeptical about whether I could actually stand on the board, but the tour introduction was not misleading at all.

My young son was also able to stand on the board, and we had a truly valuable experience.

As a man in my forties with only skateboarding experience from my elementary school days, I was able to ride the waves, and I feel like I'm finally getting hooked on surfing.

人生初のサーフィン体験。

半信半疑だったのですが、
ツアーの紹介に嘘偽りはありませんでした。

幼い息子もボードに立てており、
とても貴重な体験をさせて頂きました。

これまで小学生時分に
スケードボードの経験しかない
四十路のおっさんですが全然波に乗れ、
遅まきながらサーフィンに嵌りそうです。

I had made a reservation for four people in the most expensive area, but when we arrived, there were no available seats for four. We ended up having to ask other guests who were already seated to move, creating a cramped seating arrangement. The location of our seats was only about a meter away from the regular seating area, and it was hardly different from the regular seats. In fact, the regular seats were more spacious and comfortable, which made for a very disappointing situation.

一番高額なエリアの席を事前に4名で予約をしていたのに、行ってみたら4名の席の空きがなく、既に着席している他のお客さんに移動をしてもらって詰め詰めの席をつくる始末。席の場所も、普通の席のエリアと1メートル程の通路を挟んだだけの位置で、普通の席とたいして変わらず、むしろ普通の席の方がゆったり座れるているという最悪の状況でした。

It swayed more than I imagined! It was a day with not much wind, but we were rocked quite a bit by the waves, so I think motion sickness medication is a must. As long as you don't get seasick, I think it's a very enjoyable tour! ☺︎

想像以上に揺れました！そんなに風がない日でしたが、かなり波に揺られたので酔い止めは必須だと思います。酔いさえしなければとても楽しめるツアーだと思います☺︎

I participated alone and even though my English is terrible, I had a great time! The staff were very kind and gave instructions using gestures and simple words, so it was no problem at all despite my lack of English. As a beginner, I was able to stand firmly on the board and it felt wonderful! I would love to participate again when I come back to Waikiki! Thank you very much!

Excursion was made online but had to be changed by email to the next day after the planned event. It all happened seamlessly! Thank you. We will use you again!

We made online reservations for the next day to Hanauma Bay snorkeling but had to change the reservation day and time and within a few short hours they change was made through email and the trip and driver were very nice!

I was able to stand on the board properly! I took a semi-private lesson, so I was really tired, but I had a great time!

As always, the hospitality of Mai Tai (the staff are always very kind!), the scenery, the sunset, everything was excellent. Mahalo! I will definitely visit again!

昔と変わらず、マイタイさんのホスピタリティー(スタッフの皆さんはいつもとても親切です！)、景色、サンセット、全てにおいて最高でした。マハロ！また絶対伺います！

After signing up, there were some notes such as needing a windbreaker due to strong winds and that you would get wet up to your knees from getting on from the beach, but I thought it was okay not to worry too much about it. Indeed, the wind was strong, but it was fun and I didn't feel cold. There were only two other groups besides us Japanese.

The atmosphere might change depending on the composition of the members that day, but I thought it would be a very enjoyable event as an experience in Hawaii. I would definitely like to participate again.

申し込み後、風が強いのでウインドブレーカーが必要、ビーチから乗るので、膝くらいまで濡れる、等の注意事項がありましたが、それほど気にしないで大丈夫だと、思いました。確かに、風はすごいのですが、楽しくて寒さは感じなかったです。日本人ほ私達以外２組だけでした。
その日のメンバー構成で、感じは変わりそうですが、ハワイでの体験として、かなり楽しいイベントになると思いました。
また、ぜひ参加します。

We chose a VIP seat with meals for our honeymoon! When we arrived at the venue, we enjoyed welcome drinks and snacks, which was a lot of fun! The meal included a large lobster, meat dishes, fish dishes, bread, and dessert, leaving us completely satisfied! I didn't know how to eat the lobster, but the staff kindly taught me!

Once the show started, there were so many captivating moments, especially Michael and the fire show, which were impressive! At the end, we even got to take photos, making it the best trip to Hawaii ever!!

新婚旅行ということで、食事付きのVIP席にしました！会場に着いたらウェルカムドリンクを飲みながらおつまみも頂けて楽しめました！食事は大きなロブスター、お肉料理にお魚料理、パンとデザートがあり、お腹いっぱいで満足です！ロブスターは食べ方が分からなかったのですが、スタッフの方が親切に教えてくれました！笑笑
ショーが始まったら目の離せない場面ばかりで、特にマイケルとファイヤーショーが印象的です！ラストは写真まで撮って頂き、最高のハワイ旅行になりました！！

Departed right on time for a 45 minute sail all before moving into a great position to view the fireworks. Hosts were pleasant and it was a very nice evening. Tip - wear shorts or a short dress - you may be knee deep in water getting onto and off the catamaran!
