My son was excited to see many fish at first, but by the end, he was exhausted. They do lend out life jackets, so when he got tired, he floated. I think it might be a bit difficult for beginners to go out to the deeper areas. However, with the guidance of the professionals, we encountered many fish and turtles, creating more enjoyable memories than last time. After snorkeling, there wasn't time to play, and we headed back. This experience is suitable for those who want a smooth snorkeling experience, but it may not be ideal for those who want to fully enjoy Hanauma Bay for a long time.

5年前に個人で行った際に入場に時間がかかり、魚もあまり見えないという経験をしていたのでプロの方と一緒に行くツアーでリベンジをしようと思い参加しました。今回は子供9歳男児と親子で参加しました。まず事務所みたいな場所でフィンをあわせ着いてからはスムーズに入場することができました。１５分くらい待ったあと映画をみて　準備をするとそれから４０分近くはノンストップでシュノーケリングをします。私たちはシュノーケリングに慣れていたので４０分沖までついていけましたが、もう一組の家族は途中でリタイヤしていました。たぶん浅瀬でもう一人のスタッフとやっていたのだと思います。息子も最初はたくさんの魚をみて興奮していましたが、最後はへとへとになっていました。一応ライフジャケットも貸していただけるのでしんどい時は浮いていましたが。初心者には沖のほうに行くのは少し難しいかなと思いました。ただやはりプロの方の先導で多くの魚と亀に遭遇し前回よりも楽しい思い出ができました。シュノーケリングの後は遊ぶ時間もなく帰路につきます。スムーズにシュノーケリングを体験したい人向けで、ハナウマ湾を長時間満喫したい人には向いていません。

I was moved by the incredibly beautiful sea. The guide was kind, and not only the Japanese guides but also the foreign guides could speak Japanese and taught us various things. It was rare for this type of tour to have a mix of Japanese and foreigners; out of about ten people, my family was the only Japanese. An American woman (I think) who was participating alone casually spoke to me, and it was fun to enjoy the foreign atmosphere.
The lack of free time was a bit disappointing, so I give it four stars instead of five.

非常にきれいな海で感動しました。ガイドさんも親切で、日本人ガイドだけでは無く、外人のガイドさんも日本語が出来ますし、いろいろと教えてくれました。この手のツアーでは珍しく、日本人と外人の混合で、10数人中、日本人はウチの家族だけでした。一人で参加しているアメリカ人（だと思うのですが）のおばさんが気さくに声をかけてくれて、外国気分も堪能できて楽しかったです。
自由時間がほとんど無いのがちょっと、、、なので☆一つ減の４つです。

It was my first snorkeling experience, and I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. The waiting time to get to the beach was also minimal. Seeing the fish swimming up close was truly moving! I especially recommend it for first-timers. However, excluding the practice time, the actual snorkeling experience was a bit short (I think it was just under 30 minutes), so it might not be enough for repeat visitors.

My only criticism is that the time spent snorkeling in the water was somewhat limited in comparison with the total time scheduled for the tour. While our instructor/guide was very good, he moved us through the two areas snorkeled in the bay very quickly. I wanted to take some pictures, but found the time to do so was very limited as the group had to move through each area at a pace that limited the time for individual viewing of fish and coral. As a result, I was only able to get very few pictures, and, to have time to enjoy a direct view of the fish without looking through the camera screen!
More time in the water and a slower pace would be desirable.

Hanauma Bay can be visited individually, but I heard that depending on the time of day, you might not be able to fit on the bus and have to wait for the next one, so I chose this tour. In the end, it was the right decision to go with the tour! Entry and the trolley bus were smooth. The guide was fluent in Japanese and was a fun person. It was great not having to bring any equipment!

I felt a connection with our guide, Alan, as he picked us up. We adjusted our fins and headed to Hanauma. After watching an introductory video about Hanauma, we took the trolley down to the bay, where we received a thorough explanation on how to properly use the equipment. After a year, I was able to snorkel calmly. I was amazed by the tropical fish as I dove in. After we finished, we took a break with cookies and water, and then we were taken back to our hotel.

At first, I hesitated to pay this much for snorkeling, but the result was absolutely right!!! Allyn, who is well-regarded here, was very kind and charming☆

I really understood how to snorkel properly, and it was fun to swim with various fish and sea turtles!!

If we had just gone by ourselves, we probably wouldn't have enjoyed it this much, just swimming around the beach...

...My mother, who is nearly 60 and not a good swimmer, tried it but ended up saying "I'm scared of the water" during practice and relaxed on the beach instead. However! With Allyn's gentlemanly support and the beautiful sea in front of her, she seemed to have enjoyed herself thoroughly, and in the end, she took a commemorative photo with Allyn, haha.

I've been to Hanauma several times, but this was my first time with a guided tour. The guide knew all the hidden spots well, and we got to see sea turtles, Napoleon fish, octopuses, and plenty of other tropical fish.

When you go on your own, you have to wait to enter, which can be tough! This tour was definitely worth it.

I visited Kailua last January, and since I only did sightseeing then and didn't swim, I made sure to participate this time with the intention of definitely getting into the ocean.

The wind was strong and it was a bit chilly, but I was able to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

There were quite a few participants, but the staff at the shop were efficient in giving instructions, which minimized any time loss, and that was great.

On the way to the beach, I bought breakfast at a small market and enjoyed it on the beach, which was delicious. (I later found out it was a famous market.)

The pizza for lunch was also tasty. The lady at the pizza shop was a fun person.

It was a last-minute trip, but with Alan1, I was able to confirm my reservation immediately, making it easy to plan. I would like to use their services again. Thank you very much.
