I participated with four friends. The presence of lockers was a great help. The beach had strong winds, and the rental mat was almost blown away, so it was very convenient to be able to store valuables and anything else not absolutely necessary in the lockers.

For lunch, after some deliberation, I chose the chicken BBQ plate. It was teriyaki chicken style, came with macaroni salad, and the portion was just right and very delicious.

The beach is truly amazing!! While enjoying bodyboarding in the sea, a sea turtle appeared right in front of me!! It was just for a moment, but I was really happy to encounter a sea turtle and had a wonderful time. I want to come back again.

I am not a good swimmer, almost 70 yrs and never snorkeled and had my 10 and 13 yr old granddaughters with me. The experience was great! I felt we were all take great care of, felt safe and had the first of many (I hope) snorkeling experiences. I would recommend this company to anyone. And any older people who want to try this for the first time, this is the company to use. Only comment is that I wish it were longer. Thanks a lot.

My first time going to Hawaii and doing snorkeling was one of the best things I did. I highly recommend you book with Hawaiian activities I had the dest experience. We had hotel pick and drop off and transportation was on time. Or instructor took us to snorkel on thebest part of the Beach to see more fish and turtles. The gear was in good conditions. Instructor also took pictures of us under water and posted them on Facebook base on the date of tour. Mahalo hope you enjoy your booking.

The beach is close, but it takes about 20 minutes on foot to get to Kailua Town, so I think it's better to rent a bike if you're going to Kailua Town. However, if you relax on the beach for about an hour, you might only have time to visit the Kailua Shopping Center and Whole Foods. If you want to enjoy Kailua Town without engaging in sea activities and just take a stroll on the beach, I think it's better to use a bus or other means of transportation instead of an optional tour. This tour is not one that provides recommendations like "especially this is recommended" or "the view from here is great," so it's better to think of it as a tour that includes transportation, coin lockers, mat rentals, and lunch. Kailua Beach was very beautiful.

There weren't as many fish as I expected, but I was really happy to see a sea turtle at the very end. Without an experienced guide, we probably wouldn't have encountered the turtle, so I think it was worth the cost. It seemed like a sufficient activity for my wife, who isn't very confident in her physical abilities.

I was moved by the incredibly beautiful sea. The guide was kind, and not only the Japanese guides but also the foreign guides could speak Japanese and taught us various things. It was rare for this type of tour to have a mix of Japanese and foreigners; out of about ten people, my family was the only Japanese. An American woman (I think) who was participating alone casually spoke to me, and it was fun to enjoy the foreign atmosphere.
The lack of free time was a bit disappointing, so I give it four stars instead of five.

My only criticism is that the time spent snorkeling in the water was somewhat limited in comparison with the total time scheduled for the tour. While our instructor/guide was very good, he moved us through the two areas snorkeled in the bay very quickly. I wanted to take some pictures, but found the time to do so was very limited as the group had to move through each area at a pace that limited the time for individual viewing of fish and coral. As a result, I was only able to get very few pictures, and, to have time to enjoy a direct view of the fish without looking through the camera screen!
More time in the water and a slower pace would be desirable.

Hanauma Bay can be visited individually, but I heard that depending on the time of day, you might not be able to fit on the bus and have to wait for the next one, so I chose this tour. In the end, it was the right decision to go with the tour! Entry and the trolley bus were smooth. The guide was fluent in Japanese and was a fun person. It was great not having to bring any equipment!

After watching an introductory video about Hanauma, we took the trolley down to the bay, where we received a thorough explanation on how to properly use the equipment. After a year, I was able to snorkel calmly. I was amazed by the tropical fish as I dove in. After we finished, we took a break with cookies and water, and then we were taken back to our hotel.

今回の一番の目的は、泳いでいる海亀に会う事でした。
ガイドさんが、海亀のポイントまで案内してくれて、すぐ目の前を泳ぐ海亀に遭遇した時は大興奮でした。
ガイドさん付きで参加する事が出来て良かったです。
日本語も話せますし、全員に目が行き届き色々配慮されて安心でした。
ただハナウマ湾はサンゴが多いので、泳いでいるとサンゴスレスレだったりするので、手袋をした方が安心かなと思いました。
とても価値のあるツアーで、満足です。

My husband is not a good swimmer, so I decided to sign up for a guided tour with an instructor.

It was a great decision.

We got to see a lot of fish, and the instructors at Hanauma Bay were amazing.

Having two instructors made both my husband and me feel at ease.

It was a perfect trip to Hawaii to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
