Perfect family vacation day!

This was the perfect way for our family to spend a vacation afternoon. We stopped and got sandwiches and drinks before. There was a cooler on the boat. The water at the sandbar was shallow and the kids had the best time swimming. No waves so very safe. Snorkeling and paddle boarding were included as well as other water toys. While snorkeling we swam with turtles! Our captain was great, and we are happy we selected the private tour and had our own space.

This private snorkel tour was 100% worth the money. A private pontoon boat with many amenities, including snacks, drinking water, water sport toys and others were all provided. Captain Kokua could not have been friendlier and showed us a lot to see in the area. The sandbar of course was beautiful and a huge highlight of the trip.

Took 5 friends out with me to experience the sandbar for the first time! We had such a blast! Yuko was our captain and she was the absolute best! Some snacks and drinks were provided, you can BYOB. Floaties, snorkel gear, and a paddleboard were offered. The sandbar was beautiful! Highly recommend this to anyone!

Paradise Helicopters Oahu Air Tours & Scenic Flight from Kapolei [Not Operating]

Best way to see the island!

This is by far the best (and quickest) way to see the whole island of Oahu! I was amazed that in just a little over an hour we were able to see all of the major attractions of the whole island!

We saw everything from Pearl Harbor and Waikiki, to Diamond Head, Jurassic Valley, and even a waterfall that's only accessible from the air! The views were beyond breathtaking and the pilot made sure to turn the helicopter so that everyone could enjoy the view. He also provided a knowledgeable narration of Oahu's culture and history.

If you're visiting Oahu (or any of the islands) a circle island helicopter tour is definitely a must! You won't be disappointed!

Unfortunately, the weather on the day was not great, so the event was held indoors. However, the spacious indoor setting was not a problem at all. We enjoyed the welcome drinks, additional drinks, and the food thoroughly, and the main show, despite being hosted in English, was moving. The price is a bit on the higher side, but I believe the experience is worth it.

The seats were at the edge, so I couldn't see the stage very well. It was a round table for eight, but the seats inside the table were free seating, so it's a good idea to arrive early. It felt more like a show centered around hula rather than a hula show. Since it was held inside a building, I couldn't feel the atmosphere of Hawaii. I was disappointed that I couldn't use all three drink tickets, but the food was very delicious.

This family trip was all about enjoying the classic experiences of Japan. This show was the best among them. The buffet was decent, overall good. The professional show was impressive. The location with the sunset over the ocean as a backdrop was also nice. My wife and daughter were taking lots of photos.

The venue facing the beach had a perfect atmosphere with the ambiance of the setting beach and the area illuminated by the bonfire. The food was delicious, and it was completely different from the luau I experienced at another hotel, which was very nice.

Thanks to choosing the premium seats and arriving early, I was able to enjoy the show from the front row. If you arrive late, you might end up with seats further back, so I recommend arriving at the designated time.

When I arrived at the venue, I learned that due to the weather forecast predicting rain, the meal would be indoors. The sky didn't seem like it would rain, so my excitement dropped significantly from the start.

However, the luau became enjoyable as it progressed, and I was glad I participated. The hula dance performed solo by one of the dancers was truly beautiful! It was my first time being moved by hula. I would love to see that dancer's hula again.

The food was good. So, I decided to try breakfast at Surf Lanai later, but that was not as great...

Initially, I planned to make a reservation through the hotel’s website, but it stated that there would be no performance on the Thursday during my stay. I tried booking through Veltra, and it went smoothly. Just to be sure, I inquired and they confirmed that the hotel’s website was incorrect. I appreciated their quick response.

I opted for the premium plan, but I don't think there was much difference in viewing the show. It was more about being able to eat first at the buffet. I'm not sure about the standard seats, but the seats at the very back were arranged as round tables for 5-6 people, and you could see the stage directly, so that might have been better. The show is conducted in English, but there was someone who explained the process of making clothes from tree bark in Japanese.

The course was in excellent condition, and I was very satisfied. It was well-maintained, and the greens, fairways, and bunkers were all top-notch. I definitely want to play this course again. However, when I arrived and checked in at the clubhouse, it seemed that my name was not on the list and my reservation was not found. I was told to pay $15 on the spot... I negotiated and was allowed to play without any additional fees, but that part left me feeling a bit down. I feel like I lost out, even though I must have paid around $50 extra.

If you don't understand English to some extent, the enjoyment is halved. I couldn't enjoy it much and ended up dozing off. I paid a high price for the premium seats, but although it was described as the front row or second row, my seat was in the middle of the venue and far from the stage. The buffet was delicious.

I made a reservation for a premium seat to remember my last night in Hawaii. The show was very impressive, but it was difficult to understand because the MC spoke in English. The food had a wide variety, and I was satisfied with that.

Even though we took the front row table, the staff asked us in English to give it up to a couple who arrived later, and they forcibly took the seat of my 3-year-old grandchild. In the end, thanks to the consideration of other staff, the people sitting next to our family moved over, allowing my grandchild to have a seat. We participated as a family.
The show had various types, including performances for men only, women only, modern styles, and introductions to Hawaiian royalty, so we were never bored. It was a bit amusing to see the same dancers come out multiple times in different costumes. According to a hula expert in our group, the level of hula was also very high.
The food was delicious, but when we were leisurely eating, they started clearing things away around 7 PM. (I wanted a second helping of watermelon...)
There were times when the timing of the table attendant didn't match up with our drink orders, but their service was very pleasant.
However, I felt the price was a bit high...?

まずは、ボートで数分走って、サンドバーを散歩しながら説明を聞いたり写真撮影などをします。
プライベートなので、人の少ない所に連れて行ってもらえるため、写真撮影では他の人が映らない景色をたくさん撮影することができました。そのあと、サンドバーの近くにあるシュノーケリングスポット(ちょうど水深が深くなるところ)に移動して、希望者はシュノーケルをしました。大きな魚がたくさんいました。
お腹がすいてきたので、船上でランチです。同じツアー会社の大人数を乗せる船も催行しており、そこで焼いたカルビやソーセージも頂き、最後は、ウォーターアクティビティーを楽しみました。３時間は長すぎるかと思いきやあっという間に楽しい時間が過ぎ去ってしまいましたが、非常によい思い出になりました。

昼食用のごはんや飲み物は、とっても美味しく満足のいく量があります。お酒を3缶持っていき、氷がたくさん入ったアイスボックスで冷やしてもらいもらえました。
シュノーケルセットは、透明度が高く海の中がくっきり見え、視力が弱くても海の中ではきれいに見えます。

6人いるなら絶対にプライベートボートがおすすめです。
さわやかで優しい日本人女性ガイドさんと、若々しく機転を利かせながらもてなしてくれるキャプテンの２名が、きめ細やかな対応をしてくださいました。写真もたくさん撮影してくださるし、子供のわがままにも応えてくれ(早く次に行きたい、あれがやりたいなど)ました。シュノーケルする前に、シュノーケリングの基本を教えてくださり、ガイドさんは常にライフセーバー用の浮き棒をもってシュノーケルのところまで一緒に来てくださるので、いつでも安心です。本当にどうもありがとうございました！

I booked a premium seat. Due to bad weather, the show was indoors, and the seat I was assigned was at the very end of a table among several in front of the stage, facing away from the stage at the back of a long table. It was neither the front row nor the second row as stated in the premium seat plan. There were also some troubles, and I couldn't enjoy it at all. The content of the show and the staff's response were also lacking. I might have had too high expectations just because it was at the Royal Hawaiian. After returning home, I contacted Veltra about the day's events, and they provided a discount refund. Veltra's response was quick and very good, which gave me peace of mind. Next time, I will book another Hawaiian show.

天候が悪く屋内でのショーで、案内された席は、ステージ前に何列かあるテーブルのうち一番端のテーブルで、長テーブルの一番後ろのステージに背を向けた席でした。

ショーの内容もスタッフ対応もいまいちです。
ロイヤルハワイアンだからと期待しすぎていたのかもしれません。
帰国後、当日の内容をVeltraへ連絡したら料金の値引き返金をしてもらえました。

Highly recommend taking a ride if you want to see the island from a different viewpoint. Would recommend doing “doors off” for better pictures and a more fun experience! We did the “sunset tour” and it was the perfect time to go as their wasn’t as much air traffic (that’s what the pilot told us).

Since the premium seats were fully booked, I participated in the standard seats. It was a time of unusual weather with a lot of rain and clouds, but fortunately, it cleared up, and I was able to enjoy the show with a beautiful view of Diamond Head and the ocean. I was satisfied with the variety of entertainment, including singing, hula dancing, live ukulele performances, and a fire show. 異常気象で雨や曇りが多い時期でしたが、運良く晴れてダイヤモンドヘッド、海も綺麗に見える中でショーを楽しめました。
歌、フラ含めた踊り、ウクレレ生演奏、ファイヤーショーなどいろいろなものを楽しむことができ満足です。ハワイアンショーをまだ見たことが無い方は、何かの記念日などにご家族で利用するのもとても良いと思います。子供もたくさんいました。
