While it offers beautiful scenery worth visiting on its own, the view towards the ocean is limited due to the small hill in the direction of the cape. The trail on this tour goes around that hill, and especially in the latter half, you walk along the cliffs towering over the vast ocean (the path is well-maintained, so it's not dangerous) and ascend to the highest point overlooking the lighthouse. The grandeur of the scenery along the way is incomparable to the lookout. You should definitely experience it.

This tour itself does not include any other sightseeing, just a round-trip shuttle to the trailhead, but I think it is the most convenient means of transportation from Waikiki to this trail.

As others have mentioned, in Japan, many places require a license, and it's almost impossible for beginners to ride for two hours. The price, including transportation, is very reasonable. I was able to fully enjoy the vast grounds, including locations used for movie shoots!

Walking on the vast green areas like in the photo is rare, and you mostly proceed along mountain paths. I only saw one good movie filming location (which wasn't particularly striking), so if you're expecting movie-related attractions, a bus tour of the filming locations might be a good option.

They took us quite far out for snorkeling, and I encountered a honu (sea turtle). I had snorkeled many times in Okinawa, but this experience was on a completely different scale. It was very enjoyable and became a great memory. Thank you very much.

If it wasn’t for our tour guide, Dave, our adventure would have been very unsatisfactory. There was far far too much driving. The caves were inaccessible for most of us as the rocks were slippery. The stairs were steep, and there weren’t enough hiking sticks to go around. we stopped for quite a bit of time just to have lunch, which to me was very unnecessary. A snack would’ve sufficed. Then we drove, which seemed to be forever to go see the most recent lava flow… Which was quite interesting but somewhat repetitive. Again, if it wasn’t for our tour guide, Dave, his personality, information and enthusiasm It would’ve been a bust. Again far far far too much driving for what we actually could get out and enjoy and see.

It was an incredibly satisfying snorkeling experience! All the concerns I had were addressed by the two staff members. I was particularly worried about managing valuables like my wallet, passport, and smartphone, but they provided a locked case for safe storage, which made me feel secure.

Moreover, I was deeply moved when I unexpectedly encountered three sea turtles swimming right in front of me, which is said to be a rare experience.

We swam quite a bit, but since children can participate, I'm sure anyone can manage it! Since it was a January morning, it felt a bit chilly after swimming, so I was glad I brought a hoodie and a towel.

As long as I don't oversleep, it will definitely be the best day! If I come to Hawaii again, I would absolutely want to sign up for this tour.

They also take plenty of photos for us. At one point, my daughter had a little trouble with her Segway and fell, but they handled it well.

It seems that my child really wanted to do this in Hawaii, so our whole family participated! I usually don't exercise and don't ride bikes, so I was quite nervous, but the staff member was kind and taught me patiently, and I was able to ride in just five minutes! The Hawaiian breeze felt amazing, and we talked about how we should have chosen a longer course on our way back! My child loves art, so it seemed to be the most fun for them.
