I was worried that I wouldn't encounter any whales today, but then there was an announcement saying that a whale was spotted in the distance! I hurried to the area, but I couldn't see it with my naked eye. After this happened twice, I finally managed to see a whale clearly. After that, I was able to see whales spouting water and even jumping multiple times, making for a very satisfying whale watching experience! I also encountered a mother and calf whale. After the whale expert's explanation in English, there was also a Japanese explanation, which was very clear and helpful.

The ocean was quite windy and chilly, so I think it would be good to have an extra layer of clothing. The view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the sea was exceptional. I found myself thinking that I would love to come back again while enjoying the view.

なかなかクジラに遭遇できず、今日はダメかなあと思っていたら、遠くにクジラが見えますとアナウンスが！！あわてて見えた方に移動するも肉眼では確認できず。このようなことが2回あったあと、ようやく肉眼でクジラを見ることができました。その後は何度も何度も潮を吹くクジラやジャンプ？するクジラを見ることができて大満足のホエールウォッチングでした！！親子クジラにも遭遇しました。クジラ博士の英語の説明のあと日本語の説明もあり、とてもわかりやすくてよかったです。
外海はとても風が強くて肌寒かったので、一枚羽織るものがあると良いと思います。
海から見るワイキキビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドは格別でした。
また、来たいなーと思いながら眺めていました。

It felt amazing to be flying in the sky; it was the best. When I go to Hawaii, there are often a lot of Japanese people around, but on this tour, there were none at all, which really made me feel like I was abroad (laughs). The traditional splash in the sea when we landed was also a lot of fun!

After seeing everyone's reviews, I wondered if it would be a bother for me, a beginner who has only completed about 40 lessons, to join. However, I couldn't resist the temptation to ride a horse across the plains of Hawaii, so I nervously signed up. The result was a correct decision to challenge myself; I had a very enjoyable time. Since I usually only trot in the ring, this was my first time trotting on a trail, and it was also my first experience with a Western saddle and operating the reins with one hand. However, our guide Emily kindly taught me, and after learning the tip to loosen the reins compared to English riding, my horse Libby started to run smoothly. We trotted and cantered up the hills, and at the top, there was a wonderful view of the sea, sky, and the land of Oahu. Even if you're not an advanced rider, once you can trot, I highly recommend giving it a try. You'll surely discover even more charm in horseback riding.

The advanced tour is limited to four people per session.

By the way, the ranch is located in Laie, which is on the North Shore, about an hour's drive from Waikiki, just past the Polynesian Cultural Center. The weather there can differ from that in Waikiki. On the day I initially booked, it was sunny in Waikiki, but it was raining on and off at the location, making the trail muddy and dangerous for riding, so the tour was canceled at the last minute, and I had to turn back. Fortunately, I was able to rebook for the next day when there was availability. Both VELTRA and the local tour company, as well as the ranch, were very kind in their responses. However, I recommend that participants in the advanced course check the local weather by calling the ranch directly before departing from Waikiki to confirm if the tour is still on. The beginner walking-only course can still operate with some rain.

上級者ツアーは一回につき4人限定だそうです。
尚、牧場があるLaieは、ワイキキからレンタカーで1時間強かかるノースショアにあり、ポリネシアンカルチャーセンターの少し先。ワイキキの天気とは異なる場合があり、当初私が予約した日は、ワイキキは晴天だったが、現地は雨が降ったり止んだりで、トレイルがぬかるんで馬を走らせるのが危険とのことで直前に中止になり、途中で引き返すハメに遭い、たまたま空いてた翌日に予約し直して参加出来ました。ベルトラも現地催行会社も牧場も、とても親切な対応して頂いたので良かったですが、上級コース参加者はワイキキを出発する前に、牧場に直接電話して現地の天候をチェックし、ツアー催行の確認をお勧めします。初心者向けの歩きだけのコースは、多少の雨でも催行出来るそうです。

It was not crowded since it was a weekday. The food stalls and slides had only a short line, so we were able to enjoy a lot within the time we had! The smoking area was conveniently located and easy to find, which was appreciated by smokers. The lifeguards were attentive, blowing whistles to warn running children and monitoring the lines for the slides. I felt it was stricter in that regard compared to pools in Japan, which made me feel safer.

We went to Hawaii as a family.
I've been to Hawaii several times, but it was my first time on a submarine. I imagined I would see beautiful coral reefs and colorful fish, and I thought I would see sea turtles as well, but in reality, there were mostly monochrome views. We did see a sea turtle, but only for a short time. I believe the natural world changes from day to day. However, the scenery from the boat and submarine was incredibly beautiful, and we were able to take great photos, which made the kids very happy.

We were both completely unable to swim, which made us anxious, but we were able to borrow life jackets and fins, and received detailed safety instructions, which made us feel secure. The guide was very knowledgeable about the sea and took us to places that other tours or individuals wouldn't go, where we were able to see sea turtles, schools of fish, and large octopuses, which was truly impressive. This is definitely a tour you should participate in.

One of the highlights of this trip was Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii! Since my 9-year-old was looking forward to it, we chose an all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch plan that allowed us to navigate efficiently.

I took everyone's advice and prepared for the cold on the bus, but it was incredibly chilly. On the way back, I asked them to raise the temperature a bit, and they did.

There are lockers available in various sizes; we used a large one and paid $18. Credit cards are accepted.

From the map and scale I researched beforehand, I thought the pool would be grand in size, but surprisingly, it seemed manageable in a day. My son loved the wave pool and went in multiple times.

There were lifeguards at the wave pool, and they measured the height of small children, directing those who didn't meet the requirements to the kids' pool.

The all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch was a light buffet-style meal. However, not all food booths were open, and there were lines during lunchtime, so I was glad we opted for the all-inclusive plan. Alcohol is also available for purchase. You need to show a copy of your passport or ID for verification, and they put a wristband on you. However, you can only buy one drink at a time.

I was looking forward to the bodyboarding lesson, which was scheduled for both morning and afternoon, but only the afternoon session took place. I thought we would get some instruction on how to ride the board, but when the time came, we were just handed the boards and left to play in the waves until the time was up. My child seemed to enjoy it, though.

Since we didn't experience any intense attractions this time, I hope to enjoy some rides on our next visit.

事前に調べた際の地図や規模から壮大なスケールのプールかと思いきや、意外と一日で回れちゃいそうでした。息子は波のプールがお気に入りで何度も入っていました。
波のプールは監視員さんがいて小さい子が入る際は身長をはかり条件に満たないとキッズプールにいくように指示していたみたいです。
BBQランチ食べ放題はバイキング形式の軽いものでした。でも食べ物を買うブースは全てオープンしてなくて昼時は行列が出来てたので全て込みのプランでよかったと思いました。
アルコールも買えます。パスポート等のコピーを見せてIDを確認しリストバンドを手首に巻いてくれます。ただ、１回につき１本しか買えません。
楽しみにしていたボディボードレッスンは午前・午後の２回予定されてましたが、午後の1回のみでした。レッスンとあったので乗り方を誰かに教えてもらえる♪と思ってたのですが、時間になるとボードを渡されて時間まで各自勝手に波と戯れて終わりでした。子供は楽しかったようです。
今回は激しいアトラクションは全く体験していなかったので次回はアトラクションを楽しみたいです。

I participated with my 2-year-old daughter. Since our stay was short, I asked the tour guide if we could return on the last flight, and they kindly agreed, allowing us to enjoy the whole day. It was very considerate of them, as moving around with a 2-year-old takes time. The handshake with the dolphin was incredibly exciting, and feeding the turtles looked like fun too. There’s also a small park, so we had a great time.

There were no Japanese people in our group, just us. We could only speak a little English, so I was initially anxious, but once we actually did it, it was so much fun and absolutely amazing!!! We got to see views that are hard to see from above the ocean, and we really enjoyed it♡ Before going up, I made eye contact with one of the crew members, and when I thought they smiled at me... at the end when we returned to the boat, we were splashed multiple times in the ocean, unlike the others who only got a little splash! My friend and I were like, "Wait, why just us?!" and we burst out laughing! Now it has become a really good memory (*´-`). However, since we were students, we didn't hire a photographer to save money. That's the only thing I regret. After coming back, I found myself in a situation where I had no parasailing photos (;-;). I definitely want to participate again the next time I go to Hawaii! And this time, I won't forget to hire a photographer...♡

We participated with my child and my daughter. There are many types of slides, but considering the number of times we could slide and the cost, I feel like it might not have been worth it to slide in Hawaii. My daughter said she had fun.
We arrived right when the park opened and entered. First, we stored our belongings in a locker. There are large and small sizes, but I wasn't sure about the size, so I chose a large one, but a small one might have been fine. Alternatively, since we didn't have any valuable items, we could have just left them in the shade.
The staff member was managing two slides and moved between them every 30 minutes, so one of the slides was closed at any given time. Also, when they opened the slides every 30 minutes, there was a line, and we couldn't ride immediately. Some slides had only two or three tubes, and I thought that if there were more tubes, the turnover rate might improve. Just before we were about to leave, we were in line to ride the Shaka, but around 2:40 PM, a staff member came and said it would be closed for about 15 minutes for inspection or something. Since we wouldn't make it back in time for the 3:15 PM bus, we had to give up and leave after waiting in line for about 15 minutes. Also, the concrete gets hot, and wearing flip-flops can be a hassle when riding the slides. I wish I had brought water shoes.

開園丁度に到着し、入園。 まずはロッカーに荷物を預けました。large smallとありますが、サイズ感が分からず大きいのを選びましたが、小さくてもよかったかな。若しくは大した貴重品もなかったので、木陰に置いててもよかったかな。という感じです。
スライダーは、係員の人が二つのスライダーを掛け持ちしていて、二つのスライダーを30分毎に移動します。なので、二つのうちどちらかが閉まっています。また、30分毎にスライダーを開ける時には、列ができておりすぐに乗れない状態です。中には、チューブが2、3個しかないものもありもう少しチューブの数があれば回転率は上がるかもしれないと思いました。帰る直前にshakaに乗ろうと並んでいましたが、2時40分頃に係員がきて、検査だかなんだかで15分くらいクローズする、と言われました。3時15分の帰りのバスの集合時間に間に合わなくなるため、折角15分位並んでいましたが、諦めて帰りました。あと、コンクリートが熱くなっていますか、スライダーに乗るときビーサンだと邪魔になります。ビーチシューズを持って来れば良かったと思いました。

This was hands down our favorite excursion on the island! Fantastic Crew, great food, fun music, great snorkeling, and lovely boat ride. We went with my mom and our 5 year old son. Both of them chose not to snorkel and still had a blast. Extra bonus, they have a photographer who took tons of photos (even underwater!) at the cost of $40 for the entire flash drive. Really great time! Highly recommend!! We will be back :-)

We arrived after picking up at about three hotels with a large bus shared with various tour companies, which took around an hour. Prices seem to vary, but it looks like around $110 is the standard if lunch is included.

At the end of March, the wind was strong, but we were fortunate with the weather, and we could see the sandbar from quite a distance. If it weren't for the strong winds, it seems we could have set up a net for beach volleyball.

Our guide, Yukiko, who was exclusively for Japanese guests, was truly wonderful and gave us a lot of energy. She took many photos for us, directing us on poses that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, and even if we did, it would have been difficult to ask someone else to do it (laughs). The unique way she captured us made the photos we took there incredibly valuable. I am grateful for the enjoyable time we shared. Despite doing the same thing multiple times every day, she was never mechanical; you could tell she was genuinely enjoying taking the photos... she was a person with heart. I aspire to be like her.

As for the snorkeling, even though it was my first time, it turned out to be a wonderful experience suitable for a graduation celebration with my 12-year-old child. We saw coral reefs for the first time, colorful fish, and even swam alongside a sleeping sea turtle for a while. I honestly didn't expect to be so moved by snorkeling. There were a few times when seawater got in my mouth or ears, which was bothersome, but I managed to get through it and felt a sense of accomplishment.

When we got back on the boat, the delicious aroma suddenly made me feel hungry. The hamburgers that the captain grilled were just the right weight—not too heavy, not too shabby, with perfect seasoning and cooking. They were the best hamburgers I've ever had. It got cold with the wind, but they quickly prepared warm cocoa, tea, and coffee, which I found very thoughtful. Since tea is available, it might be a good idea to bring some snacks along.

However, I do want to mention one issue... the toilet was difficult to flush, and since you have to put the paper in a bucket, the smell became quite strong towards the end. Still, I was grateful that there was a toilet.

On the way back, I felt even colder than on the way there. Couples who came lightly without beach towels looked quite cold. A wet towel cools down even more in the cold air, so having an extra towel would be better.

Although I had visited Hawaii many times, this was my first time participating in this. It is a bit pricey, but I would definitely like to join again.

They provided life jackets and fins for small children, and everyone was able to enjoy themselves! As long as they can kick their legs, they are fine. Although the elderly didn't snorkel, they were enjoying themselves up to their knees at the practice point in shallow water.

写真を撮って頂いたのですが、何枚もポージングを指示して下さり、自分達では考え付かない、また考えついても他人にこちらからお願いしづらい（笑）かなりマニアックな撮り方で、ここで撮って頂いた何枚もの写真だけでも価値があると思っています。楽しい時間を共有して戴き感謝してます。同じ事を一日に何回も毎日毎日されているのに、ちっとも事務的でなく、楽しんで撮って頂いているのがわかるというか・・・心のある方でした。
見習いたいと思います。

そして、本題のシュノーケルは、初めてだったにも関わらず、１２歳の子供との卒業記念に相応しい素敵な体験となりました。
初めて見る珊瑚礁、カラフルな魚達、眠っているウミガメが起きてしばらく一緒に泳ぐことも
出来ました。シュノーケルでここまで感激出来るとは、正直思っていませんでした。
何度か海水が口に入ったり、耳に水が入って気になったりしましたが、なんとかやり遂げられて達成感もありました。

疲れて船に上がると香ばしい香りで急に空腹を感じました。
キャプテンが焼いて下さったハンバーガーは重すぎず、ショボすぎず、塩加減も焼き加減も素晴らしく、最高においしいハンバーガーでした。
風に当たっていると寒くなったのですが、温かいココアや紅茶、コーヒーをすぐ用意して下さっていて、本当にかゆいところに手が届いているなあと、感心しました。
お茶が飲めるので、おやつを持って行かれても良いかもしれません。

ただ、一つだけ困ったことをお知らせすると・・・トイレの流し方が難しいのと、ペーパーを
バケツに入れなければならないので臭いが後半はきつかったです。
それでも、トイレがあるのはありがたかったですけれど。

帰りのバスは、行き以上に寒さを感じました。
バスタオルを持ってこないで身軽に来ていたカップル達は相当寒そうでした。
体を拭いて濡れたバスタオルは冷気でもっと冷えるので、もう一枚別のバスタオルがある方が
ベターです。

ハワイは何度も何度も訪れていたのに初めての参加でした。
お値段はしますが、またぜひ参加したいです。

小さいお子さん達のライフジャケットや足ひれも用意されていて、ちゃんとみんな楽しめていましたよ！バタ足が出来れば大丈夫です。
シュノーケルはさすがにされてませんでしたが、浅瀬の練習のポイントではおばあちゃんも膝まで浸かって楽しんでおられました。

小さい子からご年配の方まで、楽しめると思います。
ノースショアやハナウマの海でも十分満足していましたが、海の色がまた違います。
一見の価値ありですよ！

We found this because I cannot scuba or snorkel and were pleasantly surprised! We had a good time and an excellent group of guides helping us along. I was nervous but they put my mind at ease and I greatly enjoyed seeing all the fish and the sea turtles! They even had snacks for us on the boat.
Thanks for giving me an experience thought I would never get to have. Would definitely recommend!

I participated at the end of November.
I had been looking at the photos on this site, so it was very different from what I imagined.
First of all, each tour company has its own designated area, and the area for this tour company was just a shallow beach that looked nothing like the photos.

Perhaps due to the rain, the sea was murky, and the water depth was about 1 meter.
The water depth reached up to my stomach, as I am 168 centimeters tall.

悪天候で寒くて、我慢しながら海に入ってました。

It was a cloudy and windy day from the morning, and it was cold. Everyone was shivering on the boat (laughs). Still, thanks to the very fun guide and crew, everyone seemed to be smiling and having a great time! We could see some sea turtles here and there. The coldness remained at the sandbar as well... Everyone cautiously changed into their swimsuits and entered the water, but it was still cold (laughs). Just as a light rain started to fall, the chill increased, but since we came all this way, we decided to challenge ourselves with snorkeling! The water was a bit murky, but we were still able to see coral and various beautiful fish, which made us satisfied! We were really hungry, so the sandwiches and snacks that tasted like Doritos after returning to the boat were very delicious. I definitely wanted to participate on a nice weather day, but this became a good memory in its own way. I was worried that the morning-only tour might feel insufficient, but I was completely satisfied even with the short time! After that, we returned to Waikiki and were able to do some shopping, so I felt like we used our time effectively. As mentioned in everyone's reviews, the return bus can be chilly since you are wet, so a jacket is essential, and a bath towel is a must! Since there were just two of us, we brought two towels, but we each used one and got wet, so I thought it would have been nice to have one more for covering up on the return bus.

それでもとっても楽しいガイドさんやクルーの皆さんのおかげで皆笑顔で楽しそうでした！
ウミガメもチラホラ見えました。サンドバーについても寒いのは変わらず･･･。
みんな恐る恐る水着になり、海へ入っていきましたがやっぱり寒い(笑)
ちょうど小雨も降ってきたので寒さ倍増でしたが、せっかく来たのでシュノーケルに挑戦！
海の中はにごった感じでしたが、それでも珊瑚やいろんな綺麗なお魚を見る事ができ満足でした！
お腹ぺこぺこだったので船に戻ったあとのサンドイッチとドリトスみたいなお菓子がとっても美味しく感じました。
天気の良いときにもちろん参加したかったのですが、これはこれで良い思い出になりました。
午前のみのツアーで、物足りないのかなー？と心配でしたが、全然短い時間でも満足でした！
そのあとまたワイキキに戻り、お買い物できたので時間が有効に使えるなーと思いました。
皆さんのレビューにもあるように、帰りのバスは自分が濡れていることもあり冷えますので
上着はもちろん、バスタオルは必須です！私達は2人でしたので2枚持って行きましたが、
それぞれ1枚ずつ使って濡れてしまったので、帰りのバスでのひざかけ用にもう1枚あれば良かったなーと思いました。
