The sea turtles were adorable. The sea turtles that appeared all over the ocean were amazing. My first snorkeling experience was fun, and I also enjoyed the BBQ-style lunch. However, perhaps due to the season, the shallow areas were deeper than I expected, which was a bit disappointing.

The staff took photos from both the mountain side and the seaside. The staff only spoke English, but I think it was manageable. After riding the horse, they explained how to control it in English. There were no Japanese customers. We went by rental car. The next day, I had muscle soreness in my back and the soles of my feet. The horses have different personalities; mine was a gentle horse named Amy, while my son's horse tried to eat grass right away, but in the end, he was able to control it well.

The long-awaited Hanauma snorkeling experience was amazing! At 60 years old and not a strong swimmer, I quickly signed up for this tour because I wanted to experience it with my grandchildren. I was worried about the strong sunlight since I could only go in the afternoon, but it turned out to be a cold morning, so the afternoon was the right choice. I received a thorough briefing from Fumio and then headed straight into the sea. At first, I got some seawater in my mouth, but with Fumio's guidance, I was able to see a honu (sea turtle) right away. As I swam with the beautiful schools of white fish, I got used to it, and thanks to the fins, I felt like a mermaid! My son's family was also delighted and said they want to do it again. It was my first time kayaking, and I had a great time. Before heading out to sea, we received a brief lesson on paddling, but it was still a trial by fire. However, I gradually got used to it, so my anxiety faded away.

Our guide, Ryusei, really boosted our spirits, making the kayaking experience even more enjoyable. Thank you very much. I definitely recommend going with a guide. The staff members were also very kind.

However, during the drive from the meeting point to Kailua Beach Adventures, the driver (who was not Japanese) didn't greet us at all. Additionally, on the return trip, there was no announcement like "The next stop is ○○," so if I had dozed off, I would have missed my stop. Is this just part of the responsibility in Hawaii...? Even if they can't speak Japanese, I think they should at least provide this information.

But the kayaking was fun. I would like to try it again next time.

日本語が話せないとしてもこれだけは案内すべきと思います。

You definitely should go to this pool! I was recommended to visit and had a great time. The slides were fun and I didn't have to wait in long lines to enjoy them!

I upgraded to an all-you-can-drink soft drink option on-site, but there was a long line, and it was a struggle to get even one drink. I think I didn't really need the all-you-can-drink option.

Mike and his staff we very nice and pleasant to be around as this was mine and my wife's first time snorkeling. The boat ride was comfortable, the sand bar was a fun expreience and was also a nice way to get comfortable using the equipment. I participated in the morning shuttle. The tour company staff were friendly and kind to the children, and my 7-year-old daughter enjoyed the view from 150 meters. I was worried about the kids getting seasick, but there were no problems. After the parasailing, the speed of the boat on the way back to the port was exhilarating, almost like a different activity. We were able to return to the hotel before 9 AM, so we had plenty of time to play for the rest of the day. It was a great experience.

However, the procedures upon arrival were somewhat unclear, so it would be helpful if the steps were written on the voucher in advance. I didn't know that helmets were required because they weren't shown in the photos, so I bought a hat the day before, but I would have liked to know beforehand.

It would also be beneficial to have clear information about paid lockers and photography guidelines provided in advance rather than on the day of the activity.

As for the activity itself, we only watched a short video before riding, and then we were quickly on the horses. During the ride, there were two instructors for six participants, but they mostly left us to our own devices (laughs). While it's nice to have freedom, some people might feel anxious about it.

Naturally, each horse has a different personality; there were calm horses, some that only wanted to eat grass and wouldn't listen, and others that were playful with the other horses, which was amusing. The horse I rode seemed to be a bit of a troublemaker, as the instructor frequently came over to praise it. It was curious about the other horses and occasionally sped up, but I held the reins firmly, so it was fine. By the way, there was someone who completely let their horse do whatever it wanted, and that horse was just eating grass (laughs).

The horseback riding lasted a solid two hours, allowing us to enjoy the stunning scenery! We rode towards the mountains while looking at the sea. There were ups and downs, making it quite a workout just to sit on the horse. The views were truly magnificent! If you're going because of the Jurassic Park movie, I recommend reviewing it again right before your visit for even more enjoyment.

We were able to start riding about 20 minutes after arriving and boarded the bus about 30 minutes after finishing, so we had almost no waiting time on-site, resulting in zero stress. However, if things don't go smoothly, there can be a three-hour wait at the ranch, so I recommend confirming this when making your reservation.

By the way, the waiting area is in the restaurant inside the souvenir shop, and waiting for an hour seemed tough for us. The food didn't seem promising either, so if needed, I recommend bringing light snacks like bread.

当たり前ですが、馬によって性格が違い、おとなしい馬、草ばかり食べて言うことを聞かない馬、他の馬にちょっかいを出す馬がいて面白かったです。私が乗った馬はインストラクターが頻繁にいい子にするように声をかけにくるちょっとした問題児のようで、他の馬が気になったり、急に早足になったりしましたが、しっかり手綱を持っていたので大丈夫でした。ちなみにまったく指示を出さず、完全になめられている人もいて、その馬は草ばかり食べていました（笑）
乗馬はしっかり2時間で素晴らしい景色の中で堪能できます！海を見ながら山の中に向かいます。アップダウンもあり、乗っているだけで結構な運動量になります。景色が本当に素晴らしかったです！ジュラシックパークの映画がきっかけで行くのであれば、もう一度直前におさらいしてかは行くとより楽しめるかと。

私達は到着後20分位で乗馬、終了後も30分位でバス乗車出来たので、現地での待機時間もほぼなくストレスゼロでしたが、うまくいかないと3時間の牧場待機時間があるそうです。予約時に確認することをおすすめします。
ちなみに待機場所はお土産屋さん内のレストランとなり、1時間待機も私達にはきつそうです。食事にも期待は出来ない感じでしたので、必要であればパン等の軽食持参をおすすめします。

I attended with my son and his wife. We completed the check-in on the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center and waited in front of the buffet venue. The buffet was plentiful, featuring a whole roasted pig and roast beef, and it was delicious. After the buffet, we moved to the show venue. In the morning, a dedicated bus came to pick us up near the hotel. From there, we traveled by boat to the location where the dolphins were. During the first two attempts, we couldn't see any dolphins, and I was worried about whether we would get to see them, but we were able to see them swimming underwater!

Due to lack of sleep and fatigue, along with the low water temperature, I ended up feeling seasick towards the end, but I’m glad I had this valuable experience.

I think it would be better to prepare some motion sickness medication if possible.

The tour staff were very kind and had great energy! Since a Japanese person was guiding us, I felt very reassured participating! I heard that if you're lucky, you can swim with sea turtles, but unfortunately, that didn't happen for me, which was disappointing. I want to try again next time!! The hamburgers at lunch were also great because they grilled the patties right there, giving it a BBQ feel, and I was very satisfied!

We used this for our honeymoon trip.
This was our first time experiencing the cast show.
Although most of the staff and cast members didn't speak much Japanese, the check-in and dining processes went very smoothly, and we had a wonderful time.
The facility was very clean and stylish. Especially in the waiting hall when we entered as VIPs, we were served very cute snacks, which made my wife very happy.
The show itself featured famous impersonations that even people in their 20s like us know, and it was so diverse that we were completely absorbed, with no time to catch our breath.

I definitely want to use this again on our next trip to Hawaii.

The beginning snorkel was perfect for our family! We saw so many fish a sea turtle! We would do this again for sure. Our guides were attentive and made sure we we safe and not missing a thing. This was perfec for us since we were all 1st time snorkelers.

We experienced it together as a group of three. It was very smooth, and we were extremely satisfied! I was a bit scared before jumping, but once I floated up, it felt great the whole time. Occasionally, when a strong wind blew, it swayed, which added to the thrill. I didn't purchase the photos, but it became a wonderful memory. I want to do it again!

I think there is little time to play on-site. Arriving at 10:30, then applying for a locker and changing until 11:00, followed by a 30-minute meal, and preparing to leave by 14:30 means the actual playtime is about 3 hours. I felt like I didn't really get to enjoy myself much.

Choosing the lunch option was the right decision. If we had purchased food on-site, we would have had to wait in line, which would have reduced our playtime by another hour.

The water slides also had a bit of a wait, so if you want to slide a lot, you need to plan efficiently to feel satisfied. The BBQ lunch buffet had only six items, but the taste was good.

They mentioned unlimited soft drinks, but I ended up not drinking any since I didn't wait in line for lunch. I also wasn't sure which deck chairs I could use. They said they would give us park souvenirs, but looking back, I realize I didn't receive anything.

Honestly, I don't think I'll be going back next time.

　現地到着10時半、そのあとロッカー申し込んで着替えて11時、その後食事を30分ですませてでまた遊んで14時半には帰りの準備となると、実質の遊び時間は３時間程度。あまり遊んだ気がしなかったと思います。
　ランチ付きにしたのは正解でした。別途現地で購入すると行列に並ぶので更に１時間遊ぶ時間が減るところでした。
　ウォータースライダーも少々並ぶので、たくさん滑りたいならかなり効率を考えないと満足度が得られないかなとおもいます。
BBQランチのビュッフェで、品数は6品と少ないですが、味は良かったです。
　ソフトドリンク飲み放題とのことですが、結局ランチの列に並ぶはずもなく一回も飲みませんでした。デッキチェアーもどれを使っていいのか分からずで。パーク記念品もくれるとありましたが今思えばもらってません。
　正直次回は無いなと思ってます。

This was our family's fourth trip to Hawaii. We wanted to visit West Oahu, which we hadn't been to before, so we decided to join this tour. On the day of the tour, we were lucky to have just our family, and we were able to talk a lot with our guide, Akima. He shared various tips, such as the delicious food court places at Ala Moana (Lahaina Chicken, Blue Water Shrimp) and recommended buying grass-fed meat at Whole Foods if we wanted to cook for ourselves. We later visited those places and bought the meat, which was really cheap and delicious! Personally, I found it much tastier than Wolfgang's. The tour took us to West Oahu, which isn't often featured in guidebooks, and I believe it's a power spot. Akima's stories about the myths were fascinating and mystical, and just listening to them was very healing for me.

The highlight was snorkeling. At first, the water was murky and visibility was poor, but as we swam further, the water cleared up, and we could see colorful tropical fish. To our surprise, we encountered three sea turtles! We were able to swim alongside them. Akima, our underwater photographer, took pictures of us with the sea turtles and later emailed them to us. My middle school son, who has snorkeled in places like the Great Barrier Reef, Guam, Saipan, and Phuket, said, "This was the best ever! I want to go again!" Thank you, Akima, for the wonderful memories! We look forward to the next time!

今回家族で4回目のハワイ。まだ行ったことのない西オアフに行きたいと思って参加しました。ツアー当日は運良くうちの家族だけで、ガイドのあきまさんともたくさんお話しでき、おいしいアラモアナのフードコートのお店（ラハナチキン、ブルーウォーターシュリンプ）や自炊するならホールフーズでグラスフェッド（牧草だけを食べて育った牛）のお肉を買うといいなど、ツアー以外のことも色々教えて頂き、後日実際お店に行ったり、お肉も買いましたが、本当に安くておいしかったです‼︎（お肉は個人的にはウルフギャン◯よりもずっとおいしい☆）ツアーもガイドブックにはあまり紹介されていない西オアフ、パワースポットであるからだとも思いますが、あきまさんがして下さる神話の話がおもしろく、神秘的で私は見ているだけでとても癒されました。
クライマックスのシュノーケリング、入ってすぐは濁っていて視界が悪かったのですが、泳ぎ進めていくうちに視界もクリアになり、色とりどりの熱帯魚が見れ、さらにはなんと3匹の海亀に遭遇‼︎一緒に泳ぐことができました。水中カメラマンのあきまさんには海亀との写真をいつの間にか撮って頂き、後日メールで送って頂きました。グレートバリアリーフ、グアム、サイパン、プーケットなどの海でもシュノーケリングをしたことがある中学生の息子が「今までで一番良かった‼︎また行きたい‼︎」と言っていました。あきまさん、素敵な思い出をありがとうございます‼︎次回もまたよろしくお願いします☆

Enjoyable outing

We had always wanted to visit the Sandbar and snorkel in the Kaneohe area. Captain Bob's made it enjoyable . The crew was pleasant and the food was great. It was a relaxed atmosphere (meaning, not too regulated) so we could pretty much do whatever we wanted. There were lots of turtles and fish. The only drawback was that it was more crowded than I'd imagined it would be. Maybe it would be less busy when the keikis go back to school.
