They came to pick us up by bus, but it was incredibly cold. We managed to cope with parkas and bath towels. We went as two women, and the bus seats were spacious, allowing us to relax and take a nap.

We couldn't bring in bottled drinks like juice or tea. The Japanese staff kindly said, "We'll give them to you on the way back, and we'll make sure you can drink during the trip." When we went to pick up our things on the way back, they had stored them in the refrigerator for us.

Unlike in Japan, the pool allowed cameras, flip-flops, cell phones, hats, and sunglasses on the slides! There were many families with children, but adults can have plenty of fun too!

The food isn't very promising. The price for a hamburger set is $9.99, which is reasonable, but it's best to go at a different time because there are long lines during lunch hours. I waited in line for a little over an hour.

I definitely want to go again! However, the lockers are quite expensive at $18, and you don't get your money back. That's equivalent to about 1900 yen, which is a level you wouldn't pay in Japan.

また行きたい！ってなります！
ただロッカーは大$18とかなり高いです。お金も帰って来ません。日本円だと１９００円相当、、、日本だと借りないレベルです。

I signed up for this tour because I wanted someone knowledgeable to guide me on my first visit to Hanauma Bay.

Hanauma Bay charges an entrance fee, and there are rules to follow while swimming, so I was glad to have booked the tour.

On the day of the tour, the underwater conditions weren't great, and the visibility was not very good, but the guide helped us find routes where we could see fish and took us to points where we could spot seals. I only got to see seals swimming a little, but I was happy to see them at all. By the way, I didn't encounter any sea turtles that day.

We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon, and it was both of our first times experiencing parasailing. The meeting point was a bit unclear, and our ride didn't arrive on time, which made for a rather anxious start. The bus driver hardly spoke any Japanese.

However, once we boarded the boat and set off, two handsome staff members provided explanations in simple Japanese, which really lifted our spirits and made the experience enjoyable.

The food was delicious, and the seating was right in front, which made me very satisfied! I had such a fun time. The lively atmosphere felt very much like being abroad, and I was really glad I came to Hawaii. The welcome drink was tasty, and I could choose between alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. I had experience with a mid-sized motorcycle, and I was worried about the heavy handlebars, but it was fine! The roads are unpaved in nature, so my face got covered in dust from the dirt (^_^;) If you want to avoid that, it might be a good idea to bring something to cover your face, like a bandana or mask.

Riding through the magnificent scenery was the best and felt amazing!

I personally am not very good with heights, and I usually can't handle fast rides or anything that involves falling, so I had some anxiety. However, the staff were friendly and took safety seriously, which allowed me to trust them.

Taking that first step to jump was scary, but the speed wasn't too intense, and once I got to see the breathtaking views, I felt completely fine! Since the staff communicated entirely in English, it was a bit challenging for us to understand with our limited English skills, but it was very reassuring that some Japanese participants in our team provided additional explanations.

At the sandbar, we practiced volleyball and snorkeling, and for lunch, we had hamburgers made with meat grilled by the staff. We also saw sea turtles, and the actual snorkeling experience was amazing with so many fish. It was the best tour! No need to worry about language at all! Sunscreen is a must! ☀️☀️☀️ The guide was also a funny person and kept us entertained during the boat ride.

A landslide occurred a few days before our participation, which resulted in the trekking route to Manoa Falls being closed, so we ended up trekking at the nearby Lyon Arboretum.

As it is a botanical garden, the paths were well-maintained and easy to walk on. We arrived at the waterfall in about 40 minutes while listening to our guide share stories about Hawaii's history. Although it wasn't a large waterfall, we were lucky that the rain from the previous day had increased the water flow a bit.

There were many plants I had never seen before, and I stopped to take photos... during which I got bitten by mosquitoes. Even with insect repellent spray, it seems like it's better not to stay still.

After trekking, we drove to Kaimana Farm Cafe for lunch. The portion sizes were just right, and the food was very delicious.

植物園ということだけあって、道はよく整備されていて、歩きやすかったです。

トレッキングの後は車で移動してカイマナ・ファーム・カフェでランチ。量もちょうどよく、とても美味しかったです。

The bus was fully booked for departure. It’s quite popular, after all.

At first, it was difficult to find the sea turtles, but thanks to the guide's advice, I was able to see quite a few once I got the hang of it.

As for the main sandbar, it didn’t appear at all because it was out of sync with the low tide. (Even in shallow areas, the water level was about waist-high.)

Since it’s nature, there’s nothing that can be done about it, but I was a bit disappointed because I had imagined something like the pictures.

Finally, after watching the DVD, it was time to start horseback riding. It was very quick from putting on the helmet to the start of the tour, but strangely, I didn't feel scared at all. The ocean and mountains provided the best locations for photos! As expected from Kualoa Ranch! It was a bit cute to see the horse eating grass along the way and getting scolded by the guide.

This was my first time riding, and I went straight into a two-hour course, but since the horse walked slowly, my backside didn't hurt too much, and it didn't bother me the next day. The scenery was truly breathtaking. Surrounded by green mountains and feeling the wind from a high position was very pleasant, and the horse was well-behaved, so I felt safe riding.

Even as a beginner, I felt the horse was well-trained and smart because it responded quickly when I pulled on the reins. However, there were six of us on the tour, and the guide mostly talked to the experienced English-speaking rider at the back for most of the time. Since I chose horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch, I wanted everyone to learn about its history and qualities together.

My English isn't that great, but I can speak simple phrases, so I wish I could have enjoyed both riding and conversation a bit more during this wonderful opportunity. It might be part of the guide's job to keep an eye on the members from the back, but as someone who was at the front, I felt lonely without someone to share this amazing view with.

ヘルメットをつけてからツアー開始まではとてもスピーディですが、不思議と怖さはなかったです。海、山、どれを撮っても最高のロケーション！さすがクアロアランチ！お馬さんが途中で草を食べてしまってガイドに怒られてる姿も少し可愛かったです。
今回、はじめての乗馬でいきなり２時間コースということでしたが、ゆっくり歩いてくれるのであまりお尻も痛くならず、次の日までは響きませんでした。何と言っても景色の良さに感激です。緑の山々に囲まれて、高い位置から風を感じるのはとても心地が良く、お利口さんなお馬さんだったので安心して乗っていられました。
初心者の私でも手綱を引っ張るとすぐに言うことを聞いてくれるのでよく躾けられていて賢いと感じました。
だだ、今回6人でツアーだったのですが、ガイドさんが後ろの方の英語が話せる乗馬経験者の方だけとツアー中ほとんどの時間を話していました。せっかくクアロアランチでの乗馬を選んだので、クアロアランチの歴史や良さについて全員で勉強したかったです。
英語はそこまでうまくありませんが、簡単なものであれば話せるので、せっかくの機会だったのでもう少し乗馬と会話の両方を楽しみたかったなと思います。
ガイドの方は後ろからメンバーを見ることも仕事のうちなので仕方ないのかもしれないですが、先頭を歩いていた私としては、この素晴らしい景色を共感できる相手がおらず寂しかったです。

I was torn between a traditional luau in the suburbs and this one, but I decided on the Rock-a-Hula show because it was within walking distance from the hotel and there was no need for bus transportation, plus the promotional price was tempting. I'm really glad I chose this one. First of all, the food was delicious! Unlike other dishes I've had in Hawaii, the seasoning was not too strong, just right, and although it was luxurious and plentiful, it wasn't greasy at all, so I finished it all quickly. There were also Japanese staff members in the hall who frequently checked in on us, which made me feel at ease. The content of the hula show was a great mix of traditional elements and some well-known songs from a bit earlier, so the time flew by without getting boring. The impersonators of Michael and Elvis were also very talented and entertaining. While some might say the show was short, I felt satisfied with the rich content. ぎりぎりまで郊外の伝統的なルアウかこちらかで迷いましたが、ホテルから徒歩圏内でバス移動がないことと、モニター価格につられてロック・ア・フラショーに決めましたが、こちらに決めて本当に良かったです。まず、お料理が美味しい！今までハワイでさんざん食べたほかのお料理と違って味付けが濃くなく丁度よく、豪華で量も多いのですが油っこくないのでぺろっと食べてしまいました。ホールには日本人らしき従業員もおられて、こまめに声掛けをしてくれるので安心して過ごすことができました。フラショーの内容も、伝統的なものに少し前の有名な曲等を織り交ぜて飽きさせることなくあっという間に時間が経ちました。マイケルやエルビスのそっくりさんも

It was my first time at such a height, so I was a bit scared, but it was refreshing and I really enjoyed it. I could see all of Waikiki, and the view was beautiful. There was a forecast for thunderstorms, but there were also some clear skies, which was nice.

I first visited in November 2017 and returned again in October 2018. This time, things seemed different; it looked like the number of cast members had significantly decreased. Even after huffing and puffing up the stairs to the slide, I encountered closed signs (crying). This happened frequently, which made it hard to enjoy myself. The morning pickup was also about 30 minutes late, and I felt that the price for four and a half hours was a bit high. It was disappointing that the children's slide was closed as well.

Overall, it was disappointing.

2017年11月に初めて来て、今回2018年10月に再び訪れました。初回とは様子が変わっていて、キャストがかなり人数が減っているみたいで、スライダーの階段をはーはー言って登ってもクローズの看板(泣)そんな事がしばしばあって楽しめませんでした。朝のピックアップも30分程遅れてくるし、4時間半でこの値段は高いかな？と思う内容でした。子供用スライダーもクローズで残念でした。

I chose a private course because I wanted to canter, having some experience in horseback riding. However, due to the impact of a recent typhoon, I had to cross a small river to get to the area where the horses could run. The horses couldn't cross, so I thought, "No way!" and decided to get a refund. As a result, I ended up on the same course as the complete beginners. I would have appreciated a heads-up before the tour started, letting us know there would be areas where we couldn't run. It was supposed to be a guided tour with a Japanese guide, but the bus guide only spoke Japanese for jokes and didn't inform us about when to get off or the order of disembarking, so I almost missed my stop. The boat staff were good, but unfortunately, the weather was bad and it was cold on the ground. It might be better to check the tide times before booking.

I love the ocean and swim with sharks in Hawaii was on my bucket list. To celebrate my 78th birthday, my daughter decided to take me on this amazing shark cage diving tour. What a great experience!
