The crew were great but it was a really long slow boat ride out to the fishing spot. People started off really well catching fish, but we probably only stayed in that spot for around 15mins before moving to another, and then another. The final spot which we probably spent about 30mins in, only about 3 fish were caught in that time. Most of the fish caught were not edible either. The kids got sick from eating the sausage they served for lunch, as did a few other people and no it wasn’t sea sickness because we’ve been on boats plenty and never had an issue. There were also around 30 or more people on board, so a bit crowded. The highlight probably would have been the scenery and the turtles we saw.

I wasn't able to swim with the sea turtles, but I was really happy to see so many of them. The staff members were all very nice, and I had a great time. The hamburger for lunch was delicious, with the patty freshly grilled. The sandbar was shallow, about knee-deep. I would like to visit again during a time when the tide is completely out. I wasn't very lucky with the snorkeling, as the water was murky and not very clear, but I could see colorful fish and coral reefs quite well.

I only fell into the water with my lower body, so my face didn't get splashed, which was nice. I was able to enjoy a panoramic view of the Hawaiian scenery, and it became a wonderful memory.

The blue sky and blue sea, Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head – we had a fantastic cruising experience in the best location! The interior of the boat is quite cold, so a jacket is essential. When you go out on deck, the sun is strong, so I recommend bringing a hat and sunglasses. The wind is strong, so be careful not to lose anything.

As for the whale watching, we did see some spouts from a distance. You can see them with the naked eye, but it's difficult to capture them in photos.

On January 14th, I went with my family of four (including a 2.5-year-old boy). It was a weekday, so we had unlimited rides! The place was smaller than I expected, so we were able to enjoy everything comfortably. Our favorite was the four-person Tornado. Riding with four people was definitely more dynamic and fun than riding with just two.

After lunch, the parents got tired, so the kids went sliding by themselves, and they also participated in the $5 bodyboarding, which was a lot of fun to film. It seemed like they enjoyed it as they got better with each attempt! The next day, they mentioned having sore arms (laughs). The height restrictions were quite lenient, and even a child who was 126 cm tall could ride the Shaka, but it was a bit risky at that angle. It was a bit nerve-wracking!

I'm glad we went, but I think once is enough for me. The kids might want to go again, though.

We went to our destination not just by ourselves but also with others on the same boat. The staff who provided transportation and handled the parasailing were very friendly, which naturally lifted our spirits! It was my first time parasailing, and since I wanted to make the most of it, I decided to choose the plan that goes up to the highest point, 150 meters. When I actually did it, the height was quite significant. Of course, individual experiences may vary, but I found it very enjoyable and didn't feel scared at all. The view of the scenery and the ocean from above is amazing! Right before the end, they even give you a little splash in the sea! Your face probably won't get wet! This is definitely one activity I want to do again if I get the chance!

There was another company offering the same discount tour, but it seemed you couldn't apply at the last minute, so I was happy that Veltra allowed applications until 5:00 PM the day before. Perhaps because it was a weekday, it was not crowded, and we could slide on almost everything with just a little wait. However, we couldn't do surfing or bodyboarding due to the wait times and the schedule, and it was disappointing that there was one slide that wasn't operating. At Gunstock Ranch, my 2-year-and-10-month-old daughter could ride a pony, while my husband and I chose to ride horses. A staff member walked with my daughter's pony, and we followed behind on our own horses. There aren't many places that allow small children to ride alone, so it was a valuable experience! We chose a 20-minute ride, which was more than enough time for little ones! The grounds are incredibly spacious, allowing us to feel the great outdoors, and afterward, they let my daughter brush the pony and give it treats, which was really friendly of them. I definitely want to go back next time!

*However, there were no staff members who spoke Japanese. I don't think it would be too much of a problem, though.

It was fun since it was my first time on a catamaran. The cabin with a roof, the open deck, and the net stretched over the water below allowed me to change my spot according to my mood, making it comfortable. The staff was friendly and kind. Drinks and snacks were free (alcoholic beverages required tips in the box). They would shout out if they spotted a whale, so you wouldn't miss it. Luckily, I was able to see them multiple times.

They arrived right on time. Since it was a limousine bus, the air conditioning was quite strong, so a long-sleeved shirt was necessary. After arriving, we had free time, but the lunch included in the course was delicious. It was simply tasty. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, so I was surprised by its simple deliciousness. There weren't many items, but I was more than satisfied.

And this is a very personal matter, but I realized I didn't have my wallet after arriving. When I told the tour guide, they contacted various places and found it inside the bus. They even delivered it to me when I was leaving. I'm really grateful! I thought it would never come back, so I was very happy. It was miraculous, but if the tour guide hadn't helped, I wouldn't have gotten it back. I can't thank them enough! Thank you very much!

アトラクションは、まあまあ面白かったです。が、シーズンオフだからか、開いていないのも結構ありました。のんびりしたかったので、私にはよかったです。

I didn't have high expectations since many people couldn't see them, but I was able to see them multiple times. The weather was nice, and even if you can't see the whales, you can enjoy the view of Waikiki from the sea. I watched from the third floor, but if you want to feel more of the impact, I think it's better to watch from the first floor.

It was a large boat, and the weather was good with calm seas, but it still rocked a bit. If you're not confident with rides, it might be a good idea to bring some medication.

I chose the 150m option, but the higher you go, the better the view. You can enjoy the scenery around Waikiki in the sky where you only hear the sound of the wind.

For an additional $30, you can have a photo taken from below with a DSLR, but I wish I had taken some pictures of the view from above as well. I should have brought a cable to attach the camera to my neck to avoid dropping it.

When you land, you wear a life jacket, so only your lower body gets wet. The staff made it a fun experience, creating wonderful memories. I can't ride roller coasters, but I really enjoyed this.

最後に着水するときはライフジャケットをつけているので腰下しか濡れません。
スタッフの方が楽しませてくれるので最高の思い出になりました。

The guide was Jodi, who is half Japanese. She was bright and fun. We first visited a small art museum and souvenir shop, where we learned about the history of Hawaii. While looking at paintings about Hawaiian history, she provided detailed explanations that were very informative (about 10 minutes). Jodi was the only guide who spoke so extensively about history. When we went hiking, she lent us trekking poles for free. At first, I thought I wouldn't need them, but they were incredibly helpful in rough areas. Jodi was knowledgeable about the trees and carefully explained various plants, which was enjoyable. While I think you could hike without a guide, and many people were climbing individually, having a guide is beneficial for learning things like why almost all the plants on that mountain are native to Hawaii, which you wouldn't know just by climbing. I recommend going with a guide. When we reached photo-worthy spots, Jodi took pictures for us from various angles, and they all turned out great. I had been told in advance that my shoes would get muddy, but it hadn't rained for about three days, so my shoes only got a little dirty. There are slippery areas in some places, so I think sneakers are essential. There were quite a few foreigners climbing in bikinis and flip-flops, but that gear is dangerous. They were lightly equipped to swim at the waterfall, but according to Jodi, the water is unsanitary, and swimming can lead to illness. (The waterfall was off-limits, but foreigners were entering the restricted area.) 【参加者へ】
①歩きやすいスニーカーは必須
ぬかるんでいる場所もあるので歩きやすいスニーカーは必要です。外国人のようにビーチサンダルで行くと多分ケガすると思います。
②チップが必要

女性二人が大きな木の前にいる写真が使われていますが、その木の幹に観光客が名前とか模様とかたくさん刻まれています。公式写真で使われているので、木に彫るのが平気なのかと思いましたが、本当ならダメみたいですね。そういう誤解を生まないように写真の差し替えをしたらどうかなと思いました。ジュディさんは自然が好きな方なので、木を彫ることについて注意喚起されました。
