It was quite an exciting experience that is not something you can do every day. There were Japanese guides and crew members who spoke Japanese, making it a tour that was understandable even for those who don't speak English.

In my case, there was a temporary interruption due to a malfunction in the submarine's air purifier, but thanks to the courteous support from the staff at Veltra and the local team, I was able to reschedule and continue the experience.

I participated in a double date with four people. Everyone else was foreign. English was the standard language, and I was initially anxious, but they provided the necessary instructions in Japanese.

At the meeting point, a driver with high energy was waiting for us, constantly saying things like "hee-haw." I thought it was unimaginable in Japan that he was chewing something like tobacco while driving and giving instructions.

We boarded the boat and handed over to a handsome young man and the captain. The parasailing started with the white guests in order, and we were last. I love roller coasters, but while taking off it was fun, and during the 10 minutes of floating, there wasn't much movement, which was actually a bit scary. It ended in the blink of an eye, but be careful as you can't go to the bathroom for an hour and a half.

We each paid a tip of $10, but it seemed that some of the white guests didn't tip.

I participated in the 120m jump that started at 9:00. Since I was staying at the Hilton, I walked to the meeting point. We were the last group of three, and the moment we took off was amazing! It was great to see the streets of Waikiki and Diamond Head, which we climbed on the day of our arrival, from the sky. My husband, who has a fear of heights, was thrilled and said, "This is something you have to do!" And of course, we ended with the traditional splash into the ocean! They pulled us up right away, but we made quite a splash, and I ended up with a face full of water. If you let the crew know in advance that you don't want to jump, they can accommodate your request.

The crew took photos for us, which can be purchased for $30 on an SD card, and there were lots of great pictures of us having fun. We started on time, and since there were few groups, we wrapped up by 9:30. I considered the 150m jump, but the 120m was plenty high enough. I highly recommend this activity!

First, we went to the sandbar where we had about an hour of free time, but unfortunately, it was raining and cold, so we couldn't go into the sea. I recommend bringing a jacket just in case.

After that, we moved on to snorkeling for those who wanted to participate, and this is something you should definitely experience. You can see fish and, if you're lucky, get a close look at sea turtles, which is the highlight of this tour. We had a great tour with (creepy) Uncle Kevin today on the North Shore of Oahu! We've been touring all around the world and can seriously rank Uncle Kevin as one of the best tour guides. The Surf Bus has the right equipment, the right itinerary and an excellent attitude. The bus was on time at every stage and Kevin had good solid connections at every stage. He took the time to work with each group on tour to insure they had the right experience. Some of the stops had multiple options and he was able to call ahead to report those options to the vendor. Kevin recommended great food and knew how important this is to an all day tour. One unmistakable clue that Kevin really knows what he is doing is that he knew so many of the other folks involved with the tour on a personal level. He's a local. He knew all of the answers because he grew up here.

Great attention to detail makes for a great tour. Uncle Kevin obviously knows what he is doing and we look forward to going on another Oahu tour with him soon. Also, kudos to the bus company. They had the right equipment and marketing to make Kevin's expertise shine.

I wanted to experience walking in the ocean, so I participated. I was a bit hesitant because the tide wasn't ideal on the day I could go, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. I got to see sea turtles, and the weather was great. When in doubt, it's best to participate! The hamburger was delicious too. The staff were friendly and cheerful, and I was very satisfied.

My sister and I joined the very friendly staff on a trip in the early mornings. We were only a group of 8. Everyone got a brief introduction and was set up with their gear and life jackets. Fun vacation music playing in the background we headed out into open waters on the speed boat which was so much fun in itself. The view towards the city with Diamond's Head in the background, touched by the rising sun was mesmerising! Can recommend to tag along even if you just want to watch your friend fly & not yourself.
When we were up both staff members explained all you need to know. We noticed with other passengers that even if you don't speak English very well they will go out of their way to show you what to do. But it is very easy. Time to fly! We did the 1000ft and it was the bomb! The view was exhilarating! You can totally hang loose and relax in your gear to enjoy the absolute beauty of a sight.on the way down we had so much fun when we were "dipped" into the water. If you don't want to get wet you can tell the captain beforehand, however we highly suggest you take a refreshing dip into the ocean! On our way back our captain did a few high speed curves and we were all laughing and celebrating this fabulous experience! We did purchase the picture package and when we got home we checked the sd card they give you - All we can say is THANK YOU for this great experience and these pictures are hilarious and captured 100% of the fun we had!

It seems like there are unusual weather conditions everywhere, and it was cold even in May. It's usually much hotter.

So, when entering the sea, it was fine to just wear a swimsuit and then dry off and put on a cover-up when getting back on the boat.

I was grateful to have a warm drink after snorkeling; it was a nice way to relax.

This was by far one of the favorite things we have done in Oahu! Everyone was professional. You break up into small groups so our family of 5 was able to do this activity together with our own private guide. He was fabulous and let us work as much as we wanted kayaking and then would pull us when my younger kiddos needed a break. So fun! Pleasant for kayaking and beautiful for snorkeling. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I participated in the tour on the morning of May 10th. I was initially anxious as I was with my 65-year-old mother, but Chieko took great care of us, which was very helpful. We saw many types of fish underwater and even encountered a Hawaiian monk seal resting on the beach! It was an incredibly fulfilling experience. There were also very friendly cats and mongooses on the beach. The mongooses seemed to be a nuisance, rummaging through trash and stealing food, but they are a rare sight for Japanese people, so it was fun to see them. It seems like it became a good memory for my mother as well, and I am grateful for that.

As for advice for those who will participate, I haven't been there in the midsummer, so I can't say, but in spring and autumn, the sea is still cold. I saw the locals swimming comfortably in swimsuits, but we couldn't enjoy it the same way. Perhaps our tolerance to cold is different. It's a shame not to enjoy the beautiful sea because of the cold. I strongly recommend renting a wetsuit. The guide will choose one that fits you. From my previous experience, I knew it would be cold, so I brought my own short wetsuit, but I later thought I should have rented a full suit. Even the short wetsuit took up a lot of space in my suitcase, and my legs weren't protected, which is important since you swim over shallow areas with coral to avoid injuries.

You can leave your valuables and luggage behind, and I recommend not taking anything into the water. If you do bring something, a sturdy underwater camera would be ideal. I brought my waterproof smartphone in the zippered pocket of my swimsuit, but after about four years of use, it short-circuited and became unusable. After that, I had to go sightseeing without my smartphone. Luckily, my mother had hers, but I ended up changing my phone model when I returned home.

65歳の母親と一緒で最初は不安もありましたが、Chiekoさんが面倒を見てくれたので、とても助かりました。
水中ではたくさんの種類の魚が見れ、砂浜で寝ているハワイアンシーモンクにも出会えました！
非常に充実した体験でした。
浜にはとても人懐こいネコと、マングースなんかもいました。
マングースはそこではごみ箱を漁ったり食物をかっぱらっていく害獣のような存在のようですが、日本人にとっては珍しい生き物で、見れて楽しかったです。
母親にとっても良い思い出になったようで、感謝しています。

これから参加する人へのアドバイスですが、
真夏は来た事がないのでわかりませんが、春秋はまだ海が冷たいです。
向こうの皆さんは平気で水着で泳いでいるのを見ますが、我々は彼らと同じ調子では楽しめません。寒さに対する耐性が違うのでしょうか。
寒さでせっかくの海が楽しめないのはもったいないです。
ウェットスーツのレンタルを強く推奨します。ガイドさんがその人に合った物を選んでくれます。
自分は以前の体験から寒い事を知り、タッパーを自前で用意して行きましたが、フルスーツをレンタルすれば良かったと後から思いました。
上だけのタッパーですらスーツケースに入れると嵩張りましたし、足が保護されないので。浅い場所でサンゴの上を泳ぐので怪我防止にもなります。

貴重品や荷物は預けられます、海の中には何も持って行かない事をお勧めします。持っていくなら丈夫な水中カメラ位でしょうか、自分は防水仕様のスマホを水着のチャック付きポケットに入れて持ち込みましたが、４年程使っており経年劣化していたのか、見事にショートしお釈迦になりました。その後はスマホなしの不便な観光を強いられました。母のスマホがあったのでまだ良かったですが、帰国後はその日に機種変更です。

This experience was one I have no regrets booking. The divers and guides were wonderful. You always felt safe and were never left alone because you have your own personal diver with you at all times. But you feel at peace and just immerse yourself with the wonders of life underwater. They provide you with all the equipment you need even snorkel gear for your free time! Riding in a submarine was also a valuable experience, and above all, I was able to experience the clear blue seabed as if I were diving myself. I'm glad I participated. You can also see sea turtles!

I'm going to the sandbar for the first time!
A wide shallow area with a sparkling white coral carpet!
Imagining moments like that, we set sail!
At first, the weather seemed to be nice...

Before I knew it, the weather turned bad from the mountains.
In no time, the sky above the sandbar was covered with dark clouds,
and without any sunlight, we landed on the sandbar anyway!
