To conclude, it was really great! The day we went was a Sunday, but the park was not crowded, and we were able to ride the water slides without waiting in line. I lost count of how many times we rode them! It's rare to have such an experience in Japan, so I was very satisfied! I also noticed that there were many Japanese people and tourists around. When the bus came to pick us up from the hotel, it arrived about 5 minutes late, which made me a little anxious.

I signed up for the Star of Honolulu tour because it promised less rocking. I didn't know that we had to stay 100 yards away from the whales until we boarded the ship, so I was disappointed by the difference from the impactful photos in the brochure. The crew pointed out the direction of the whales several times, but they mentioned that the splashes were far away, so the people around couldn't see them either.

If you're taking a cruise ship for the first time, I think you'll enjoy the atmosphere. A pod of about 20 dolphins appeared right next to the ship, and there was a cheer from everyone there.

Our group consisted of a couple (with zipline experience), an elderly couple, a family of four, a solo traveler, two friends of mine, and the instructor, starting at 10 AM. (Everyone except us was foreign; from their perspective, we were the only Asians.) We began with a short zipline to warm up and then gradually tried longer lines and even went backward.

The elderly couple (around 70 years old?) and the children tried without hesitation. The most challenging part was climbing up to the zipline location (like a climbing pole), which was really tough, but the instructor helped us reach the top. There were places along the way to enjoy macadamia nuts, cherry tomatoes, and mini bananas, as well as hydration stations.

I usually use an iPad mini, so it was too large for me to carry, but the foreigners were taking pictures of the scenery and themselves with their smartphones. I would like to participate again and have a photo taken with my arms and legs spread out. Finally, we were able to purchase photos for $45 plus tax.

I have to admit, even though I knew I would be swimming safely in a cage, I was still a little nervous. But the crew did a good job of putting my mind at ease. These guys really know their stuff! They've been swimming with sharks and surfing in Hawaii their whole lives. They are like walking encyclopedias!

The tour was fun from start to finish. We got to see whales on the way to and from the dive site (and we could hear them when we were in the water!), we saw the Lost beach where the TV show was filmed, and the view of the North Shore coastline was breathtaking.

Last but not least, the sharks. There were at least five in sight when I got in the cage. It was a dream come true getting to be so close to them and watch them swim around us. And the best part is that this tour only takes out a maximum of 6 people so we got to stay in the cage the whole time!

Our tour consisted of five people: a couple from Canada, a woman from England, and my husband and I from Japan. This time, we visited a different waterfall due to construction at Manoa Falls, but we enjoyed walking through the forest and experiencing nature. It was great that our guide, Susumu, who is a bit stern-looking, provided fun explanations about the forest's nature. He also interpreted for us during conversations with people from different countries, which made communication with everyone enjoyable. We also had a lovely meal in the park. Thank you, Susumu!

There were four couples, including us Japanese.
We made the reservation on-site, and everything went smoothly.
There was one staff member who spoke Japanese, but they left to join a sandbar tour partway through, so we received the explanation about the Sea Bob as soon as we arrived at the boat dock.
All explanations on the boat were in English, including how to equalize pressure. It was manageable, but it did make me quite anxious at times.
During our tour, there were five Sea Bobs available. We dove in pairs, but since many participants were in pairs, only one person could prepare at a time, which meant those waiting had to stay on the boat for a bit.
My husband went first, but the other Sea Bob didn't arrive, so I ended up waiting on the boat for over 10 minutes. To make matters worse, they tried to guide the next person, so I hurriedly said, "I haven't gone yet!" and they quickly assisted me, but in the end, I experienced the Sea Bob for less than 10 minutes, including preparation time.
Still, we saw plenty of turtles, the ocean was beautiful, and we encountered a pod of dolphins, so overall, I was satisfied.
While waiting for our turn on the Sea Bob, we could go snorkeling. All explanations for that were also in English. I hope to convey in this review that snorkeling is also available.

As mentioned before, motion sickness medication is absolutely essential!

私は主人が先に行きましたがもう1台のシーボブが来ず結局船上で10分以上待たされました。おまけに次の方を案内しようとされたので慌てて「まだ乗ってない！」と伝えたらすぐに案内してもらえましたが結局シーボブを体験出来たのは準備も含め10分もないくらいでした。
それでもホヌはたくさん見れたし海は綺麗だしイルカの群れにも遭遇出来たのでトータルでは満足です。
シーボブに乗ってない待機中はシュノーケリング出来ます。それの説明も全て英語です。この口コミでシュノーケリングも出来る事を伝えられたらと思います。

既出ですが酔い止めは本当に本当に必須です！
止まってる船上は想像以上に揺れます。

写真は高いですが買う価値はあるかなぁ…と思います。
自分達の写真とホヌの写真がセットでした。20枚くらいです。
中々出来ない体験でしたので船上で待たされた事がなければ最高です。

From the moment Sean picked us up we knew we were going to have a great time with his warm welcoming fun personality and his Aloha Spirit.

His knowledge of both 5-0 series was incredible along with life on the island and other filming areas that go on on the island as well as several historic events for the islands.

He showed us the offices for both series as well as where they lived on the series. As he try to take us by the studio it was blocked off because of the recent tragic deaths of one of Honolulu’s officers Processions was about to begin. He pointed out where the tragedy had occurred.

We went to the Overlook where Danny goes during the show often then off to McGarret’s House for lunch.

Lunch was very good and he pointed out several things that have been shot there from the show.

He was very gracious and was always there to take any and all photos we want it. The staff are all locals, but they first showed us a Japanese video, so it was okay even if you’re not good at English! The horses are very smart and respond well to simple signals. We were able to enjoy a leisurely horseback ride on a beautiful, pleasant beach! Since it’s a bit of a long time, it might be good to bring a drink. They do sell some drinks locally, so if you ask the staff, you can buy them, but they might not have change, so you may need some small bills.

The weather was nice, and we were able to see a big rainbow along the way! The whales didn't show themselves much, but they did blow water and revealed their large bodies above the surface! It was moving! They continued to blow water, but they didn't show themselves much after that; however, this time they showed their big tails! It seemed a bit difficult to see them from the front like in the advertisements, but I'm glad I woke up early to participate! For breakfast, there were bread, sausage, scrambled eggs, rice, and several types of fruit.

First of all, I was surprised by the view from the bus! The sight of the large slides lined up was so exciting! The lockers are paid, and although there are supposed to be coupons, I couldn't find them. The prices are a bit high at $13 for small and $18 for large, but the convenience of being able to unlock them multiple times was great!

It was a Sunday at the pool, but there were hardly any lines, so I was able to smoothly enjoy the slides I liked! In particular, the wave pool was incomparable to those in Japan, with large waves repeatedly crashing in, which was so much fun! Also, it was very appealing that you could ride the slides while taking photos with a GoPro or smartphone!

We chose a plan with unlimited soft drinks, and we could select from about six types of juice! I really appreciated that plan. Additionally, the lazy river was quite the opposite of those in Japan and was very calm. The waves were so gentle that I could hardly tell if I was being carried along. However, the pink floaties were Instagram-worthy, and there was a surprise waterfall towards the end that was thrilling!

If you have time to spare, I think it's worth stopping by! Also, for all slides except one, you have to carry your own floaties, so make sure to choose the right floatie for the slide before climbing! Check before you go up the stairs! If you're unsure, ask the lifeguards; they are all very kind!

あと、流れるプールはこれまた日本とは真逆で、とても静かでした。流されているのか分からないくらい穏やかな波でした。ただ、ピンク色の浮き輪がインスタ映えし、最後らへんには滝のサプライズがあり興奮しました！！
時間に余裕がある方は、寄っても良いとは思います！
そして、1つのスライダー以外は全て、自分で浮き輪を運ばなければならないので、乗る前には必ずスライダーに合った浮き輪を選んで登りましょう！！階段に登る前に要チェック！！！分からない場合は監視員さんに聞きましょう！とっても優しい方ばかりです！！
トイレは清潔で、更衣室やシャワールームも充実していましたが、更衣室にカバンなどを掛けられるフックがなかったので、フックがあればさらに便利だと思いました！！

I participated with my 7-year-old child. At the movie filming locations, the Japanese-speaking driver provided fun explanations while we toured the sites. The scenery was wonderful. Since I had only been around Waikiki before, I realized once again that this is also Hawaii.

I was nervous during my first parasailing experience, but it was fun! There were no other Japanese people among the guests I rode with, but everyone was nice and talked to me a lot. I chose the 150-meter option, and the parasailing itself was refreshing and great, but it took quite a long time to get to the spot on the boat, and the boat was rocking a lot, which was scarier.

We had a wonderful time on our whale watching excursion! We were picked up by the bus - it was early/on-time. We made it to the dock, got our picture taken (didn't buy it, it was too pricey!), then on to the boat. The boat was huge and there was plenty of seating inside and on the top deck. We opted out of lunch, which I think was for the best since me and my husband didn't feel that great on the ride out in the open water. But it did look nice and drinks were available for purchase. Once we got out on the water, we started seeing some whale blows and headed more in that direction. We then saw dolphins swimming next to our boat which was just as exciting as seeing the whale! But what was even cooler was once we got closer to the whale, marine biologist said that what we were seeing was the dolphins were playing with the whale, which he hadn't seen in 4 years! He was very informative. We also enjoyed some live music which seemed the bring the whales and dolphins around more! We probably saw about eight whales in all, ten dolphins and one sea turtle. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, aside from feeling a little seasick.

We joined the 2nd-floor buffet dinner plan. Check-in was on the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center, and we were guided to the buffet seats in order of arrival. To avoid crowding, we were seated at tables in sequence. While waiting for the buffet, we were entertained with hula shows and ukulele performances, which was a nice touch.
The buffet included not only salads and fruits but also hearty dishes like whole roasted pig and roast beef. In the latter part of the meal, there were small cakes, sorbet, coffee, and tea, so we could enjoy a complete dining experience. The Mai Tai cocktail that came with the buffet could be substituted with fruit juice for children or those who prefer non-alcoholic options, and it was delicious.

After finishing the meal, we moved to the show in order. Although we were seated near the back, the venue was large and elevated, making it easy to see. The show featured a variety of performances, from basic hula dancing to Elvis, Michael Jackson, and fire dancing, providing an enjoyable experience. The children had fun, even if they didn’t fully understand everything.
During the show, it was dark and the sound was loud, which caused some little babies to cry, but it was entertainment that everyone, from adults to children, could enjoy. At the end of the show, they were happy to let us take photos with our smartphones and cameras, allowing us to enjoy the experience until the very end.

ブッフェのセットについてくるマイタイカクテルも子供やノンアルコールの方はフルーツジュースにしてもらえるので、こちらもおいしかった。

食事が終わった方から順にショーへ移動。案内されたのはほぼ最後列でしたが、会場は大きくても高さがあるので見やすかったです。ベーシックなフラダンスから、プレスリー、マイケルジャクソン、ファイアーダンス等、バラエティーに富んで楽しめる構成でした。子供たちもわからないなりに楽しんでいました。
ショーの間は暗いし、音も大きいので小さな赤ちゃんは泣いていましたが笑、大人から子供まで楽しめるエンターテインメントでした。ショー終わりで自分のスマホやカメラで写真も快く撮影してくれるので最後まで楽しめます。

I participated with two female friends. I had never been to Kualoa Ranch before, and initially thought about trying the popular zipline, but since there were only seven ziplines, I thought it might be boring if it ended too quickly, so I put that on hold. Next, I considered the popular buggy ride, but since there were no single seats available, and there would be a problem deciding who would drive if we took a five-person buggy, I also put that on hold. Ultimately, we chose the e-bike tour (2 hours, no kayaking, with a shuttle option). It turned out to be amazing! Here are the details.

The tour started at 12:30, and we gathered in front of the designated hotel at 10:20. Although we arrived early, the bus came just in time, which made me a little anxious. There were quite a few people going to Kualoa, so we were transported by a large bus (about a 50-minute ride), and I slept the whole way there and back. 12：30スタートのツアーで、朝は指定のホテル前にて10：20集合。時間前に行ったもののバスが来たのがぎりぎりだったのでちょっとだけ不安でした。クアロアに行く人がかなりいるので大型バスでの送迎です（およそ50分くらい）、行きも帰りもひたすら寝てました。到着してからチケットオフィスでの受付があります。ここでもすべて英語。他の方も口コミに書いてますが、受付からツアースタートまで待ち時間が1時間以上ありますのでちょっと退屈ですが、そこらへんに馬がいたり、とにかく絶景なので写真をとって過ごしていました。レンタルロッカーはありますが、埋まってるので、水と念のためのカード、タオル位の身軽な荷物でいくことをお勧めします。
ｅ-bikeはいわゆる電動自転車なので踏み出すとかなりぐんぐん進みます。坂も立ちこぎもしなくても楽々すすめました。舗装されていない道、砂利道、草の上を進むので、結構スリルがあります。要所要所では、自転車を止めて撮影したり休憩もしつつだったのであっという間でした。
私たちは、日本人のカップルと4人でのグループでした。ガイドさんは英語のみですが、私たちが皆若いグループだったので、スピーカーで音楽をがんがんかけたり、お菓子くれたり、写真の撮影も色々指示してきたりと、とにかくノリノリで楽しかったです。
当初迷っていたバギーツアーと途中道ですれ違いましたが、写真スポットでもバギー自体が大きく大人数のグループで道に止めることができないからか、すぐ走って去っていたし、獣道みたいなところを進めるところも含め、やっぱりｅbikeにしてよかったなと。
天気も良く、服が汚れず、素晴らしい絶景の中を風をきって進むのはとにかく気持ちがよかったです。
値段が高いですが、またやりたいアクティビティです。

"I want to swim if I go to Hawaii!" After receiving this request, I was looking for a tour that my mother (66 years old) could join. I was about to give up due to the age restriction (only up to 65 years old) when I found this tour.

This tour alleviated all my concerns (transportation, managing valuables, where to swim to avoid fatigue, snorkeling instructions, etc.). The transportation to the hotel eased my worries about meeting up on the way there, and it was appreciated on the way back since we were tired.

Swimming was made easier with life jackets, allowing us to float even in deep water. By swimming with the current, we could conserve our energy. Even if you don't know how to use the equipment, our guide Dan explained everything in simple Japanese.

Depending on the weather and climate, it might be better to rent a wetsuit. I swam on January 31, 2020. The weather was cloudy, and the seawater was cold (not freezing, but it felt "cold... If the weather was nice, it would feel good"). I wore a rash guard over my swimsuit and shorts. Towards the end of the swim, I felt cold. I bought the rash guard locally for about $50. My mother wore a full rash guard as well, but she still said, "It feels a bit chilly towards the end." It was a good decision to bring a bath towel borrowed from the hotel.

私が泳いだのは、2020年1月31日。
天候は曇りでした。
海水は、冷たかったです。（水風呂まではいかないけど、「冷たい…。…お天気なら、気持ちよさそう」な体感でした。）
服装は、水着の上からラッシュガードを着て、下は短パンを履いていました。
泳いでいる最後の方は、寒く感じました。
ラッシュガードは、現地で$50くらいで買いました。
母は上下ラッシュガード着てました。
それでも、「最後の方は肌寒いなぁ」って言ってました。
ホテルで借りたバスタオルを持って行って正解でした。

日本から持って行って良かったものは、飴、ポカリスエットの粉。水に溶かして持って行きました。
当日持って行ったら良かったと思ったものは、白湯でした。

Kayaking doesn't take long to get used to, and there's no worry about falling! I didn't understand more than half of what was said in English during the guidance, but it was fun.

The mountain biking also allows for practice until you get used to it, which is reassuring. Since it has assistance, I didn't get tired at all. I was very satisfied to feel the great outdoors up close.

There's also a bus service to the ranch, so that's comforting.
