I saw whales in the distance about three times. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't see them as much as I had hoped, but on the way back, a large group of dolphins came close to us. ★肝心のクジラは、、見れました！！ただやはりそんなに近くではなかなか見れなかったです。
潮をふいているのと、しっぽが遠くですが、みえました。

I went on my first trip to Hawaii from March 8 to March 12. I had planned to book activities in Japan, but a friend advised me to make reservations after arriving due to weather conditions, so I booked everything on my smartphone the day before.

Two days prior, I had booked parasailing with a different company, and although it was sunny until just before our turn, it started to rain and got cold when it was finally our turn. I was worried about the weather that day, but it turned out to be beautifully clear! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

We stayed at a minor hotel, so the nearby Hyatt Regency was the pickup location. When we boarded, there were already an American man, his two nephews, their two mothers, and a Japanese newlywed couple on the bus. It seemed we were the last to be picked up. After about 30 minutes of driving, we arrived at the boat dock.

It took about 20 minutes for check-in and to go over safety instructions. The company we were with was located on the same premises as the parasailing company I had used two days earlier, but while the parasailing company had restrooms, this one instructed us to use the nearby McDonald's for facilities. I didn't particularly want anything from McDonald's and thought I could hold it, so I boarded the boat without going. Looking back, I definitely should have used the restroom at that point since there are no toilets on the water…

Once on the boat, drinks (water) and snacks were available for unlimited consumption. After about 5 to 10 minutes, we arrived at the spot for the underwater scooters. It seemed that others were only participating in the underwater scooter activity, so we stayed on the boat while we were on a course that included SUP and snorkeling, and we transferred to a smaller boat to head to the sandbar.

Since it was a private tour, a Japanese staff member kindly taught us how to use the SUP, and while the snorkeling didn't have an abundance of beautiful fish, we were able to observe the fish slowly and take photos, which made for a very satisfying experience. I think we spent about an hour at the sandbar.

They provided wetsuits, but only for the upper body, so be careful not to cut your feet on the coral while snorkeling! I ended up getting injured in two places. ε-(´∀｀; )

After that, we moved to the underwater scooter spot. Once we switched back to the boat we had arrived on, there were already about 20 people from the underwater scooter group who had almost finished boarding, and we waited about 10 minutes until it was our turn. While waiting, we were able to see a honu (sea turtle) come up to the surface from the boat. The Japanese staff member had told us earlier that we would definitely see honu, so I was excited, but I never expected it to be so easy to spot them! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))♡

Once on the underwater scooter, after equalizing my ears, we followed the staff to a depth of about 2 to 3 meters. My face only got wet when going in and out of the helmet, so it was fine to wear contacts. Even in Hawaii, the water was quite cold when entering. When I shook the chain with the food, a lot of fish came to us.

Then we were taken to the honu spot, where we could see honu swimming on the ocean floor, drive the underwater scooter ourselves, and take photos with friends, which was very satisfying. I think we spent about 20 minutes there.

On the way back to the dock, the staff showed us the photos they had taken, and if we wanted to purchase any, we could do so. We decided not to buy them since they were a bit pricey, but there were some good photos. It seemed they had also filmed a video.

Afterward, since we were cold, it would have been nice to have a shower, but there wasn't one available. So, we were driven back to the Hyatt Regency by our pickup driver, and that concluded the tour. I was very satisfied with the private sandbar and my first experience with the underwater scooter. If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to participate again!

私達はマイナーホテルに泊まっていたので近くのハイアットリージェンシーがピックアップ場所でした。
乗り込むとアメリカから来たおじさんと
その甥っ子２人、そのお母さん達２人、日本人の新婚さん２人が既に乗っていて私達は最後のピックアップだったようです。
３０分ほど乗車すると船乗り場に着きます。
そこから受付や、注意事項確認で２０分程かかりました。
２日前に参加したパラセーリングの会社と同じ敷地内に今回の会社もありましたがパラセーリングの方はトイレがあったのにこちらの会社はお手洗いは近くのマクドナルドを利用してくださいとの説明でした…
特にマクドナルドで食べたいものもなかったのとお手洗いにも行かなくても大丈夫かなと思いそのまま乗船。
後で思いましたがこのタイミングで必ずお手洗いに行ったほうがいいです。
海上にはもちろんトイレはありません…
船に乗ると飲み物（水）や、スナックがあり食べ放題でした。
５分から１０分程すると水中スクーターが出来るスポットに到着します。
他の方達は水中スクーターのみの参加だったようで
そのまま船に残り私達はSUPや、シュノーケリングもできるコースだったので小型船に乗り換えサンドバーへ移動しました。
貸切だったので日系スタッフの方が丁寧にSUPの乗り方を教えてくれたのと、シュノーケリングも、キレイな魚がうじゃうじゃいたわけでもありませんでしたがゆっくり魚を観察したり、写真を撮ってもらったりのんびりできたので大満足でした。
１時間ほどサンドバーにいたと思います。
ウエットスーツを貸してもらえますが上だけなのでシュノーケリングの際サンゴで足を切らない様に注意！
私は2箇所も怪我しました

その後水中スクーターのスポットへ移動しました。
移動後、先ほど乗ってきた船に乗り換えると既に20人ほど乗っていた水中スクーターのみのコースの方達がほぼ乗り終わっていて１０分ほど待機してると私たちの番になりました。
待機中ホヌが海上に上がってきて船の上から
見ることができました。
先ほどサンドバーの時に日系スタッフの方から100%ホヌを見ることができるよと聞いていたので期待していたのですがまさかこんなに簡単に見れるとは

水中スクーターへ乗り耳抜きが済むとスタッフの方の誘導で深さ2、3メートルのところまで行きます。
顔は水中スクーターのヘルメットの中に入る時と出る時のみ濡れるのでコンタクトでも大丈夫でした。
水に入る時はハワイといえどすごく寒いです。
水中では餌が入っている鎖を振るとたくさんの魚がよってきてくれました。
その後ホヌスポットへ連れて行ってもらい海底に潜っているホヌをみたり、水中スクーターを自分で運転したり、友達との写真を撮ってもらい大満足でした。
時間的には２０分くらいだと思います。
その後は船着場へ戻る途中でスタッフの方が撮った写真を見せてもらって購入希望の場合は購入という流れでした。
私達は金額が高めだったので買いませんでしたがいい写真が結構ありました。
ムービーも撮ってくれていたようです。
その後は体が冷えてるのでシャワーなどあればいいですがないので迎えにきてくれた方の運転でまたハイアットリージェンシーへ送っていただきツアー終了でした。
サンドバーが貸切だったのと水中スクーターも初体験だったので大満足でした。
またハワイに行く機会があれば参加したいです。

船酔いした事なかったですが、船酔いして何もしないまま帰りました。
日本では開始しないような波でもハワイは普通に開始します。気おつけてください。往復のタクシー代とシャークアドベンチャー代で380ドルぐらいかかりました。
行って、船酔いして、サメも見れず、帰って、380ドルを捨てたようなものでした。
お金も返って来ないので、みなさん、天候には充分に気をつけてください。
あと、ある程度英語のリスニングが出来ないと、船のアテンドの人が何言ってるかわかりません。

It took about 20 minutes by taxi from Hokulani Waikiki to get there, costing $35 with HANA Taxi. On the way back, it was also $35 to Ala Moana Shopping Center. Since we arrived too early, we sat on a bench and found free Wi-Fi. We flew with JAL this time, so the Rainbow Trolley didn't stop at the Bishop Museum, and I reserved a taxi for the return trip, but it would have been better not to. The quality of the show was incredible. I thought it would mainly feature hula dancing, but there were also opera-like performances and fire dances, all of which exceeded my expectations and were so much fun that I felt emotional and almost cried at the end.

The hula dance depicted the evolution from the 1940s to modern hula, which was great. I saw a fire dance live for the first time, and it was amazing; I definitely want everyone to see it live.

There were also many beautiful men and women, and the women, in particular, were sexy and their dancing was sharp, which kept my eyes glued to the stage. The food was delicious as well. This is definitely one of the places I want to visit again the next time I go to Hawaii. Lastly, you can also take photos and get autographs.

ショーのクオリティーが物凄く、フラダンスがメインなのかと思っていたのですが、歌劇のようなショーや、ファイヤーダンスなど、どれも創造以上に最高で楽しく、終わった時は感動して涙が出そうでした。
フラダンスは1940年代くらいから現代のフラダンスまでの過程をショーで描いていたのでよかったです。
ファイヤーダンスは初めて生で見ましたが、凄い、是非生で見てもらいたい。

I participated in a beginner mountain biking course. It was a tour where we rode down the mountain on mountain bikes. First, we were driven to the starting point. After adjusting the sizes of the bikes and helmets, we had some time to practice, so it was fine even if it had been a while since I last rode a bike. The downhill ride was very refreshing as I felt the wind rushing past me. The course was from 12 to 3 PM, but since we stopped at various points to take photos and rest, the time flew by. I was able to enjoy the wonderful scenery and the negative ions, which was a lot of fun, different from being at the beach. As a side note, due to the impact of COVID-19, the park where we were supposed to have lunch was closed, so we received water, sandwiches, and snacks and were taken back to the hotel about 30 minutes earlier than planned. I regret that I was so flustered that I forgot to give a tip. I would like to challenge myself with the intermediate and advanced courses next time, so I look forward to it.

マウンテンバイクの初級コースに参加しました。マウンテンバイクで山を下るツアー。まず車でスタート地点まで連れて行ってもらいます。バイクやヘルメットのサイズ調整をしたあと少し練習をする時間もあるので、自転車が久しぶりでも大丈夫でした。ダウンヒルは、風を切って走って行くのがとても爽快でした。12-15時のコースでしたが、要所要所では自転車を止めて撮影したり休憩もしつつだったのであっという間です。素晴らしい景色とマイナスイオンを感じられて、ビーチとはまた違ってとても楽しかったです。余談ですが、新型コロナの影響でランチを食べる予定だった公園が閉鎖されていたので、お水とサンドイッチ、スナックを貰って当初予定より30分ほど早くホテルに送迎してもらいました。バタバタしていてチップを渡し忘れてしまったことが悔やまれます。今度は中級・上級コースに挑戦したいと思うので、またよろしくお願いします。

Occasionally, it rained heavily between the zip lines, and we got completely soaked, but we continued without any interruptions. It was really fun!

After that, the four-wheeler course had turned into a sea of mud, but we started without worrying about it! We ended up covered in mud, even our underwear turned black, but it was such a unique experience that we had a blast and were very satisfied.

I didn't bring a change of clothes, and since I couldn't get into the rental car, I ended up buying a poncho to wear home. Plus, it was cold being wet...

They took some photos along the way and said they would send them via email later, but it's been three days and I still haven't received them. If it hadn't been raining, I would have taken some with my own smartphone!

The view from the boat on the way to the submarine was beautiful. There weren't many fish near the submarine, but I was able to see a lot of small fish and sea turtles. Before getting on the submarine, there was someone who interpreted in Japanese, but the explanations from the crew inside the submarine were in English, so I couldn't understand what they were saying.

I wanted to show my daughter whales up close, so I signed up for a tour. On the day of the tour, there was rain and wind, and the sea was rough. It was a relatively large boat, but it was very rocky, and I got seasick. My daughter was so sick that she couldn't leave the restroom, so we didn't get to see any whales. I also got seasick, but I managed to see some whales, although I only caught a glimpse of their tails a few times. What is usually a tour for a group of more than five people turned out to be almost like a private tour for us as we were only three that day. Sean shared a lot of information about my favorite tv show, the cast, the location. We were blown away by everything we saw. It was like walking into a dream. The lovely house, the amazing beachfront and of course, the iconic chairs. Even my husband, who has not watched an episode before our tour has become an instant fan and started watching Hawaii Five-0 with me from season 1 when we got back home, making it my third time to watch season 1. :) It still feels like watching each episode for the first time. Lunch was great, too and we loved the passion fruit-orange-guava (POG) drink.

We also had a nice conversation with the house owners, Richard and Suzz. We had a fun time talking about who Steve is going to marry. It’s Catherine, hands down. We had fun taking pictures with Yogi, too.

Sean really made this day special for us. He shared with us a lot of information about Hawaii from a local’s perspective. He also told us about Hawaii’s history and culture and some of the famous people who are from Hawaii. Sean drove us through Kewalo Basin Harbor and Ala Moana beach park. We stopped.by at the Hawaii Five-0 headquarters, which in real life, is the Hawaii State Supreme Court.

Big thanks to Sean for recommending Wini’s Jewelry where we bought gorgeous Hawaii Five-0 merch. We wish that this show could go on for a couple more seasons.

We participated in a 2-hour course without transportation for 5 people. Since taking the shuttle would mean a longer wait time, we drove there with a rental car. It takes about an hour from Waikiki. This time, we went to the outlet in the morning, so we arrived in less than an hour from there. Our start time was scheduled for 3 PM, but since we arrived early, they changed it to start at 2:30 PM. Kualoa has been the filming location for various movies, and both the mountains and the ocean offer stunning views. Although there are quite a few days with bad weather, we were fortunate to have nice weather this time. It's not often that I get the chance to go horseback riding in Japan, so it was enjoyable. The horses remember the course, and they provide instructions on how to operate them, so there's no need to worry. If you want to store your belongings, there are lockers available. I think it was $5.

日本にいてもなかなか乗馬をする機会がないので楽しかったです。
馬はコースを覚えているし、操作も教えてもらえますので心配ないです。
荷物を預けたい場合はロッカーがあります。５ドルだったと思います。

I participated in the 120m event. The staff was great, and it was really fun, especially getting splashed in the sea. I took motion sickness medication, so I was fine, but there were quite a few people around me who were feeling pretty seasick, so I recommend taking something to be in top shape to enjoy it fully.

I had one of the best time here at the Kualoa Ranch! Although the request I had for a specific time and date was unavailable, a receptionist was able to call and inform me of so. She was able to work with me and was able to fit me and my friend in! She was very nice and informative. I would definitely advise to book in advance of atleast 5 days!

As for the whole experience during our tour was beyond amazing! The tour was beautiful and showed us different scenes of multiple films they produced with a cute little jurassic park video for us! :) Would definitely highly recommend this activity one for the books!! :)
