After the COVID restrictions were lifted, I finally got to visit Hanauma Bay. However, since the days for entering Hanauma Bay are still limited, making a reservation individually can be quite challenging. Fortunately, there are tours that offer entry reservations for Hanauma Bay, along with transportation, which is reassuring. The guide was very kind, and there were no particular issues from preparation to snorkeling to cleanup. During snorkeling, they took us to the appropriate snorkeling points by observing the tides. While snorkeling, they kept an eye on us to ensure we didn't get separated, and they provided support when we fell behind our group. I believe this is a tour that even beginners can participate in with confidence.

でも、まだハナウマ湾に入れる曜日が限定されているため、個人で入場予約をするのはかなり大変です。
しかし、なかなかとれないハナウマ湾の入場予約もツアーが実施してくれて、かつ、送迎もしてくれるので安心です。
ガイドの方は、とても親切で、準備～シュノーケル～片付けまで特に困ることはありませんでした。
シュノーケルの際は、潮の満ち引きを見て、適切なシュノーケルポイントに連れて行ってくれます。
シュノーケルの最中は、はぐれないように、見ていてくれて、仲間から遅れた時には、サポートしてくれました。
シュノーケル初心者でも安心して参加できるツアーだとと思います。

Overall, this was way more than we expected to experience at a Luau. First of all, the food was delicious and the spread was huge. The staff was incredibly friendly and it was a relaxed environment. I will say that it pays to do the VIP experience so that you don't have to pay out of pocket for a lei or for an additional drink (it was nice that it came with 2 premium drinks with the VIP option). The seating for VIP for the show was also excellent! The show wasn't just dancing, but an entire story through the years. The dancers and singers were so talented! The entire night was about a 4 - 4.5 hour long event and you really got the bang for your buck. I highly recommend this experience, especially if it's your first time going to a Luau!

The staff was friendly, but all the information was provided in English.

First, I had no idea where to wait for the shuttle bus pickup, both going and returning. I ended up sharing information with other Japanese guests and just felt anxious.

After arriving, the explanations for the various activities on the ranch were only in English. I couldn't understand anything, and I only had a vague idea of where to gather. I almost missed out on some activities.

Driving the buggy was fun, but the explanations about the filming locations or Hawaii? Every time we stopped, there was about a 10-minute talk, but I couldn't understand anything and just stood there confused. We didn't get to see much of the filming locations either, so I think those who want to visit the filming sites should skip this tour.

Additionally, the helmets and goggles provided were wet and muddy, which was very unpleasant. Even before doing anything, just putting them on made me covered in mud.

The seat belts and seats of the buggy were also dirty, and my clothes got soiled that I had to buy a change of clothes. I recommend wearing clothes and shoes that are dark and can be thrown away.

Also, while driving the buggy, you inhale a lot of sand. They give you something like a bandana to protect yourself, but it doesn't help at all. I recommend bringing a mask to wear. Your throat might start to hurt. I was still spitting out dirt from my mouth, nose, and ears for a while.

If you don't have a strong desire to ride the buggy, even if you can't speak English or get muddy, the price is high, and the access from Waikiki takes time (we got stuck in traffic both ways), so satisfaction will be difficult.

Since it was our honeymoon, I wish we had chosen a different activity.

到着後も、牧場内でするそれぞれのアクティビティについて英語のみでの説明。
全く分からず、集合場所もなんとなくでしか分からず。
間に合わないところでした。

バギーの運転自体は楽しかったのですが、
ロケ地の説明？やハワイの説明？
停車する毎に10分くらい都度ありましたが、
全く何を言っているのか分からず、ただただ棒立ちです。
ロケ地自体も、そんなに見られたわけでもなく、
ロケ地に行きたい方は、このツアーはやめた方がいいかと思います。

加えて、
貸していただけるヘルメットやゴーグルが、
濡れていたりドロドロで、
非常に気持ちが悪かったです。
まだ何もしていないのに、装着するだけで、
泥まみれになりました。

バギーのシートベルトやシートも、
土で汚れており、服が汚れ着て帰られず、
替えの服を購入せざるを得なかったです。
黒系の汚れが目立たない、捨てても良い服、靴で行くことをおすすめします。

また、バギー走行中、大量の砂を吸い込みます。
ガードするバンダナ？みたいなものをもらいますが、全く効果ありません。
マスクを持参して着用をお勧めします。
喉が痛くなりそうです。
いつまで口と鼻と耳から土が出てきます。

英語が出来てなくても、どろんこになっても、バギーにどうしても乗りたい！
と言う気持ちが参加者全員になければ、料金も高いですし、
ワイキキからのアクセスも時間がかかるので(行きも帰りも渋滞にハマりました)、満足は難しいです。

せっかくハネムーンだったので、
ほかのアクティビティを選択したらよかったです。

Although it was disappointing that we didn't catch any fish, the captain was quick to assist when we had trouble handling the fishing gear. We moved to three different spots, and we only had about an hour and a half of fishing time. The captain cooked the fish caught by others on board and served it as fried fish for us to enjoy while returning to the harbor. There was a large shark swimming near the boat, and we were able to see it up close, along with the sight of sea turtles swimming. The scenery was fantastic, making it a great experience for cruising and sightseeing.

釣りは何も釣れずに残念でしたが、釣り具の扱いに困った時には船長さんがすぐフォローしてくれました。
3ヶ所ポイント移動して、釣りの時間は1時間半程度しかありませんでした。

The fun really starts when you get on the nice air conditioned bus. Our host on the bus was hilarious all the way to our destination. The show is in a wetnwild but honestly I forgot about half way to the beginning of the show. The food was good and the dancers were better. The chief was also a funny man and although you do get this amazing entertainment, you also get a little bit of history of the people of the islands. Overall it was a great show. I experienced a 2-hour horseback riding course. It was my first time riding, but the horses were very smart, so I was able to enjoy the experience without any particular anxiety. The staff primarily spoke English, but they were very accommodating, so I felt safe and had fun. They also took photos with my smartphone along the way, which made for great memories!

I had two hours, so I was able to fully enjoy it. It was thrilling and a lot of fun! I think anyone who usually drives will have no problem driving here. I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty. While you won't get completely muddy, you will get dusty. Also, there are a few spots that are similar to Splash Mountain, and my eco bag got dirty.

The pickup from the hotel and the option to choose activities at Kailua Beach were great. Instead of going into town, the kids chose to rent beach items. We got a large float, but it wasn't very useful in the actual sea. The ocean was beautiful, and we were taken back to town, so overall it was good, but the tour felt a bit pricey. It would have been even better if there was a shuttle service from Kailua Beach to Lanikai Beach.

We were blessed with very nice weather and felt the impressive submarine and pleasant sea breeze as we moved towards the submarine. Everything was wonderful! It was the best dream-like experience! Both my mother and child were very satisfied, and after getting off, they were excited, saying, "We saw sea turtles! There were so many fish!"

It was a unique world, different from regular snorkeling, almost like a movie. The explanations were in English, delivered by a lively and entertaining host, while my mother and child enjoyed the commentary in Japanese that they had downloaded in advance.

This is a tour that I definitely recommend trying at least once!

I experienced the buggy ride. There is a lot of dust on the off-road, but you can borrow goggles, a cloth mask, and a helmet, so it's not a problem. However, your clothes will get covered in dust, so it's a good idea to bring a change of clothes. Shoes are a must, but shorts are okay. Just be prepared to get muddy if it rains.

The route is dotted with beautiful nature and movie set locations, and you can see cows, horses, and chickens on the ranch. Above all, I enjoyed the beauty of the mountains that can only be found here. The guide's witty explanations made the trip even more enjoyable, so having some English skills will double your enjoyment.

I signed up for a tour that included round-trip transportation from the hotel, but there was some free time before and after, so I wish I had brought gear for water play and a swimsuit to enjoy the nearby beach. There is a beautiful shallow sea where you can do some snorkeling.

There were no Japanese staff, but I felt reassured because there was a Japanese video explaining the precautions. It was wonderful to take a leisurely two-hour tour around the vast area that served as a filming location for Jurassic Park, and horseback riding while looking at the ocean was the best.

My friend cannot swim, but we held hands and swam together in the sea, and we were able to see beautiful fish, which made us very happy. I understood well that the sea has become cleaner over the past few years and that everyone is actively involved in marine conservation efforts. I definitely want to participate again.

Before the experience, you can store large bags in lockers, but remember to bring your passport and driver's license for check-in. Small bags like a sacoche are allowed.

There was no Japanese guide during the activity, but the video with safety instructions for riding the buggy was in Japanese, so I was able to enjoy it without any problems. The guides were cheerful and very nice throughout the experience.

However, one thing I regret is not being able to stop at the King Kong and dinosaur footprints. It would be helpful if the reservation explanation included details on where you can get off.

Also, when it's sunny, there can be a lot of dust, so I recommend bringing sunglasses or a hat! While the dress code suggests long pants, it seems that shorts would be fine as well.

ただ、1つ心残りがあるのはキングコングや恐竜の足跡？で止まれなかったことです。
予約時の説明で、どの部分で下車できるかまで記載しといてもらえると良いかと思います。

あと、晴れていると砂埃がかなり舞うのでサングラスや帽子があるといいと思います！
服装は長ズボンとありますが、ショートパンツでも大丈夫そうです。

This was an excellent start to a seven-day island excursion. Enjoyed every aspect of the journey including the boat ride to and from. The submarine crew did an excellent job of insuring that viewers on both sides of the vessel got to see the same sights. Fish of all size, turtles, and even eels all clearly visible coupled with insightful commentary from a comedic crew member.

I participated with my daughter! The Japanese staff provided explanations, which made us feel at ease. We also took a lot of photos! The lunch included delicious hamburgers.

We were able to see sea turtles, and the sandbar was very beautiful! My 10-year-old daughter had her first snorkeling experience, and she had no problems at all. She was amazed to see so many fish during her first snorkeling adventure!

I was scheduled to be picked up in front of DFS at 9:25 AM (the van arrived more than 10 minutes late).
