I wanted to see the fireworks from the Hilton on Friday, so I compared various cruises. After a long time in Hawaii, with rising prices, I found this plan that included a dinner buffet and Polynesian dance music to be very satisfying and a great deal. The fireworks were beautiful as well.

What I could have done better:
1. I should have opted for a course meal instead of the buffet, even if it was a bit more expensive. The course meal is on the third floor, while the buffet is on the second floor. Since the buffet requires waiting in line, I was still getting dessert when the sunset happened, so I only managed to see the last bit of it.
2. I should have chosen a plan with transportation included. It was unclear how to change it later, so I gave up. I mistakenly thought the departure location was near the Hilton Hawaiian Village, which is common for other cruises, so I thought I could walk there, but it turned out to be at the Aloha Center. The area is a bit unsafe at night. I think the transportation fee would have been cheaper than ordering an Uber.

金曜日のヒルトンの花火を会場から見たい！という気持ちからいろいろなクルーズを比較してみたのですが、久しぶりのハワイで、物価もあがってるなか、ディナーブッフェ付きでクルーズそしてポリネシアンダンス音楽を楽しめるこちらのプランは大満足でお得でした。花火も綺麗でした。
失敗した点は、
1.ブッフェより少し高くてもコース料理にしたらよかった。
コース料理は3階。ブッフェは2階。
ブッフェだと並ぶので夕日の時間にはまだデザートをとる時間だったので、慌てて夕日の最後しか見れませんでした。
2.送迎付きプランにすべきでした。後から変更する方法がわかりづらく諦めました。出港場所を勝手に他のクルーズがよくあるヒルトンハワイアンビレッジ近くだと思っていたので、歩いて行けると思ってたら、アロハセンターでした。夜は少し治安悪い場所です。
Uber頼むより送迎料金の方が安かったと思います。

The practical instructions were clear, and I was able to get on the board right away. There were three of us participating, but since there were two instructors, they provided guidance tailored to each participant's level, allowing us to have a meaningful experience. For those who were capable, they encouraged us to try new things, like riding the waves alongside the instructors or going out to where the big waves were. For those who were less experienced, they offered experiences in areas with moderate waves, and if someone wanted to try the big waves, they made it possible!

実践もわかりやすく説明してくださり、すぐにボードに乗ることができました。3人での体験となりましたが、インストラクターの方が2名いたので体験者のレベルに合わせてインストラクターの方が指示してくれ、有意義な時間が過ごせました。出来る人にはどんどん新しいことも体験させてくれ、インストラクターの方と一緒に（隣に並んで）波に乗ったり、大きな波がある沖にいったりもしました。不慣れな人には中くらいの波のところで体験や、本人が大きな波にトライしたかったら、体験させてくれたりと、、！！

I participated in this tour for the first time. Due to the weak yen, I requested a shuttle service, and the cost was just under 30,000 yen per person, but I joined with my family of three. The guide spoke entirely in English, so I couldn't understand what was being said, but we had a wonderful time. We were able to take photos at movie filming locations, see cacao that you can't find in Japan, and even crack and eat macadamia nuts ourselves, which was a fun experience. Above all, the scenery was amazing! The weather was also favorable, making both the mountains and the sea incredibly beautiful. It was a healing time for my husband and me, who are usually tired from work. If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would like to participate in a buggy riding tour.

円安だったので、送迎もお願いして費用は1人3万円弱かかってしまったのですが、家族3人で参加しました。
ガイドさんは全て英語だったので、何をお話されているのかはわからなかったですが、とてと良い時間を過ごす事ができました。
映画のロケ地で写真を撮る事ができたり、日本では見ることができないカカオを見れたりマカダミアナッツを自分で割って食べる事ができたりと楽しい体験もできました。何より景色が素晴らしい!!お天気にも恵まれた事もあり山も海も凄くキレイで最高でした。日頃、仕事に疲れている夫と私には癒しの時間になりました。
またハワイに行く事ができたら、バギーに乗るツアーに参加してみたいと思います。

The show and entertainment were wonderful, and I was captivated until the end. I was especially moved by Elvis Presley, John Lennon, and most of all, Hawaii's representative singer, IZ.

However, I was disappointed with the initial meal and the staff. The guidance was insufficient, and the meal took too long, leaving us with too much time before the show without any food. I felt that the premium seats were better. Additionally, most of the staff did not speak Japanese, which felt a bit rude, especially considering that even though there are fewer Japanese people due to the post-COVID situation. I ended up taking home one of the two free drink tickets without using it, and the service seemed to prioritize Americans, leaving a bad aftertaste.

When I asked my friends what is the best thing to do in Hawaii, most of them mentioned the sunset cruise they went on for their honeymoon, so I decided to go for my first trip to Hawaii for our 30th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, and we couldn't see a romantic sunset, but the singer performed for my husband, whose birthday is in two days, and the newlyweds sitting next to us danced in the center of the stage. The location is on the 4th floor of the Waikiki Royal Hawaiian Center, and I arrived without any trouble. I was welcomed with a welcome drink (Mai Tai cocktail), and they played a Sukiyaki song and a birthday song on the ukulele at my table. The dinner buffet featured traditional Hawaiian dishes, with plenty on the plate and unlimited refills; it was very delicious. I was particularly impressed by the thickness of the roast beef they served. During the meal, there was a hula show, and I was able to participate in a hula lesson as well. After that, there was a "look-alike show" (rock) featuring Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, representing America, which was of high quality and enjoyable across generations. The level was too high. First of all, the food was delicious. I was overwhelmed by the Hawaiian dance that took place during the meal, and while I was filming, they pointed at me with their fingers♪ The service was enthusiastic, leaving a very good impression! The next show was a stunning performance that lasted for an hour and a half non-stop, making me wonder if I could keep up! Personally, I was happy to hear Michael Jackson's "Thriller." We participated with two friends and two 3-year-olds, making a total of six people.

It was a fun cruise accompanied by cheerful music. Depending on the day, it might be a good idea for those who are prone to motion sickness to take some medication beforehand. We were able to see many dolphins, and both adults and children were very excited.

Although it was my first time participating in dolphin watching and snorkeling, my friends, who have been multiple times, said it was a relatively relaxed tour and snorkeling experience. My 3-year-old daughter seemed to enjoy floating while being held and was happily watching the underwater world with the snorkeling mask we brought.

When we participated, it seemed there were no Japanese speakers, but we were treated kindly, which made us feel at ease.

The dinner buffet before the show was hearty and very delicious. On top of that, I was able to listen to a genuine concert, which was overwhelming. This is because a deceased superstar was making an appearance. I was moved to tears from the nostalgia. As the year changes, I hope to see what kind of legendary stars will appear next, and if they could keep changing the versions, I would definitely want to come back again.

On 12/19/23 I went on Star of Honolulu, and participated in the Pacific Star Buffet Package. Finding the boat was easy due to it's large size. Walking up we were greeted by real hula dancers, that really set the vibe for the evening. Upon boarding the ship there was staff along the way that assisted in finding your section.

The ship is very large in size, and was so much fun to explore. The top deck was my favorite part, but definitely bring a sweater it can get a bit chilly! I recommend visiting the top deck as the sun is setting for your perfect kodak moment on the water, and once again when it gets' dark to see the beautiful city lights, and view of Diamond Head Crater.

The severs were very studious, and genuine when checking on our table. The buffet line went very quickly, hardly a wait at all! The food was delicious, with many options for all dietary needs. Being mainly plant based I was impressed by all the plant based sides, my favorite was the tofu salad! They even have a vegan patty upon request.

The show, and production was very engaging for the whole family. If you are traveling with a large group including children, I recommend the Pacific Star package there is something for everyone!

Having experienced many shows across Hawaii, I must say the Magical Mystery Show in Waikiki stands out as one of the absolute best. Accompanied by my 10-year-old niece, we were both completely mesmerized by the sheer brilliance of this performance.

The ambiance and decor of the venue transported us back to the enchanting Victorian era, and it was a delightful immersion into a world of wonder and magic. Not to mention convenience of its location made it very accessible for a non-driver like me :)

However, the true highlight was the exceptional magician whose performance was nothing short of spectacular. Their mastery and skill were evident in every act, and they had the audience's attention captivated throughout the show. My niece, in particular, was enthralled and thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and was so excited when she was called up to assist!

All in all, the Magical Mystery Show in Waikiki is an absolute gem, and definitely a must-see for anyone looking to have an evening filled with enchantment and awe~

At the end of December, it was the rainy season, so the weather was bad and cold, making it impossible to stay in the sea for even 10 minutes. I quickly headed towards the parking lot, but there was no place to take shelter from the rain, and many people were gathered under the small roof of the shop and restroom. I thought it would be nice to have a facility with a roof to take shelter during such times.

The driver-guide was kind and friendly, but since the explanations were only in English, I couldn't understand anything and felt anxious from start to finish, which made the experience zero fun. While there were some pouches with explanations about the fish, I wished they could at least prepare a minimal Japanese pouch with the day's itinerary, return time, meeting place, and precautions for Hanauma Bay. I think Japanese people who cannot speak English should not participate. Conversely, if they want to attract Japanese customers, they should prepare explanatory pouches. If they don't need Japanese customers, then it's fine to continue as they have been. At least I managed to get back.

12月末で雨期だったので、天候が悪く、寒くて、10分も海に浸かることができないほど、直ぐに着替え駐車場の方に向かったが、雨宿りするところもなく売店とトイレの小さな屋根の所に大勢でいてましてが、こんな時に雨宿りできる屋根のある施設があれば良いのにな〜と思いました。
運転手ガイドさんは、優しくて親切ではありますが、英語の説明しかないので、全くわからず最初から最後まで不安で楽しさは、0でした。魚の説明のパウチ等は、軽く回されましたが、そのパウチを準備できるならせめて最小限の日本語の1日の流れ、帰りの時間と集合場所、ハナウマベイの注意事項等のパウチを準備して欲しかった。英語のできない日本人は、参加すべきでないと思います。逆に日本人のお客さんを獲得したいなら説明パウチを準備すべきだと思います。日本人のお客さんを必要ないと思うなら今まで通りで良いかと思います。何とか帰ってこれましたから

First, we had the dinner buffet. Starting with stylish Hawaiian cocktails, I enjoyed a variety of dishes like roast beef and pork, and even though I was full, I made sure to indulge in dessert as well. During the meal, there were mini shows featuring hula dancing and ukulele performances between the tables, allowing us to experience the Hawaiian atmosphere.
After that, we enjoyed a theater experience reminiscent of a movie theater, showcasing Hawaiian music from old times to the present, with impressive performances of authentic hula dancing and Elvis and Michael look-alikes. The final fire show was particularly thrilling! It was exciting and captivating! It became a memorable part of our trip to Hawaii. I've seen shows in Hawaii twice before, but this was the best one yet. It was the largest Hawaiian show in Waikiki.

その後、映画館のようなシアターで古い年代から現代までのハワイ音楽、本格的なフラダンスやエルビス、マイケルそっくりさんの圧巻の演出で楽しかったです。特に最後のファイアーショーは迫力満点！ハラハラドキドキで見ごたえあり！！ハワイならではの旅の思い出になりました。ハワイでは過去に2回ショーを見ていますが、今回が一番良かったです。ワイキキ最大のハワイアンショーでした。

So much fun. the bbq burgers were good. The 1st stop is not worth it to snorkel, not much to see, just enjoy the sandbar and the volleyball. the 2nd spot was good snorkeling b/c it was at a reef. Don't swim over top of it though. just around it. you can make it all the way around it with plenty of time to spare. It was very fun. The water was a little cold, but not too bad but thats probably because I went the week of Thanksgiving. They give you the gear you need, my suggestion is to fit the mask before you get down to the water. they give you full foot fins to use. The crew was super helpful and really nice. I definitely recommend!!

Guaranteed window-side or private seating! We participated in the 3-star (lobster & steak) experience with my husband.

First, we got off the shuttle bus and entered the ship, but there was no guide, and we didn't know where to go. Following the crowd to the second floor, we were told, "You are on the first floor," and after going down, we still didn't know which room or seat to go to. We finally managed to find a staff member who helped us get to our seats.

Later, I realized that the sticker given on the shuttle bus had the floor number written on it... However, with hundreds of people boarding, I really wished there had been some guidance on where to go when we got on the ship.

Then, the toast performance started right away, but our glasses were empty, and we toasted with empty glasses. I thought they would come to take drink orders, but the servers were too busy, and it was impossible. When the lobster was brought to us, I asked to place a drink order, but I was told to wait, and it took a long time to get someone. I finally managed to order when the server brought drinks to the people at the next table. I mentioned that we didn't have the toast champagne, but it was never brought to us afterward.

ドリンクの注文は聞きに来てくれるだろうと待ってましたが、サーバーが忙しくしていて全然無理。ロブスターを運んできた時にドリンクオーダーをお願いしたがちょっと待ってと言われ、なかなか来ず。隣の席の人のドリンクを運んできた時に再度声かけてやっと注文できました。そのときに乾杯のシャンパンがなかった旨伝えましたが、その後持ってくることはありませんでした。
やっとドリンクが来ましたが、私はノンアルを頼んだのに飲んだら明らかにアルコールが入っていてトホホ…。変えてもらおうにもずっとサーバーが忙しくしていて無理。ステーキを運んできたときに、注文したものと違うから変えてほしいと伝えました。が待ってもやはり来ず。メイン食べてる時にもドリンクが一滴も飲めていないという状況、私もうセルフのお水飲みました（苦笑）。私の注文はもう諦め、ステーキのお皿を下げにきた時に主人の2杯目のドリンクを注文したけど、これまた最後まで運ばれることはありませんでした。プランには1人2杯のドリンクが含まれていますが、2時間の乗船で2杯飲むことは不可能だと感じました。
ちなみに英語は堪能ではありませんが、ある程度の会話はできます。
ハワイには何回か行っていますので、日本のようなサービスを期待してはいませんが、なんかガッカリでした。
窓側席でしたが、1階の窓は水しぶきで汚れてますので、窓越しに写真なんて撮れません。
ちなみにパフォーマンスの方はみんなを楽しませようと頑張っていました。
くもりでサンセットは残念ながら見れませんでしたが、ワイキキを海側から見る機会はないので景色や夜景は素敵でした。
良い口コミが多いので、私がハズレに当たっただけかもしれませんが、送迎付き2人で約66,000円、誰かにオススメもできませんし、リピートはないです。

The magic shows I attended in Hawaii (30 years ago and 10 years ago) were so wonderful that I tried to find and book one, but it seems the magician from back then has retired. This time, I saw a different Japanese magician for the first time, and he was an amazing performer, just as good as the previous ones, allowing me to have a very fulfilling time. It was great to watch up close, and the entertaining talk created a fantastic atmosphere. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't figure out the right timing for when to go to the restroom or order additional drinks. Also, the introduction before the show started and the waiting time after the gathering was quite long. Furthermore, I found it inappropriate to be standing in line while being offered cocktails; it felt rather rude. If possible, drinks should be served at the venue.

これまでハワイに来た時に(30年前、10年前)観たマジックショーがあまりにもすばらしかったので、探して申込もうとしましたが、当時のマジシャンは引退されたようでした。今回初めて異なる日本人マジシャンを観ましたが、まさるとも劣らぬ素晴らしいマジシャンで、とても充実した時間を過ごせました。至近距離で観させて頂いた事、トークが面白く幻想的な雰囲気である事が良かったです。トイレに行きたい時や飲み物の追加注文等の可否のタイミングが良く分からなかったのは残念でした。又、本番が始まるまでの導入部と集合時間以降の待ち時間が長い。又立って並んで待っている時に飲み物のカクテルを飲ませるのは頂けない、寧ろ失礼かと思います。どうせなら飲み物は会場で。

The weather was nice and the sea was calm on the day of the event, so it felt really good to ascend high into the sky. The view of Waikiki Beach from the sea was also very beautiful. I felt like I got a great deal being able to see both Waikiki from the sky and the sea. Everyone who participated was friendly and we had enjoyable conversations; it was truly a wonderful experience. I would like to participate again next time I visit Hawaii.

I signed up for a plan that included a buffet. The buffet was plentiful with delicious options like roast beef and fruits, and the atmosphere was wonderfully Hawaiian. There were also lovely shows featuring traditional hula and fire dancing. The music consisted of well-known songs and was performed beautifully, allowing us to enjoy ourselves throughout! I was particularly moved by "My Way." The venue is centrally located, making it very accessible, and I highly recommend it. I would love to go again when I visit Hawaii.
