During the rainy season, I encountered a downpour comparable to a typhoon while on a horse without a roof to shield me. Being by the sea, the wind and rain were so intense that I felt like I was in a survival situation. I was shivering from the cold, completely soaked, and worried about getting injured because the horses nearby were not compatible and were acting up. Looking back after returning home, it has become a funny story, but I really wanted to give up at one point. However, I believe this is just a matter of luck with the weather, so it can't be helped. I'm grateful to the staff who assisted us despite the delays caused by traffic. If I participate again, I will definitely choose a buggy.

雨季だったので、屋根もなく降りられもしない馬の上で台風並のスコールに遭いました。
海沿いなので、風と雨量が凄まじすぎて遭難した気分でした。
全身びしょ濡れの寒さと、たまたま相性の悪い馬同士が近くに居たので暴れて本当に怪我も免れないんじゃないかという思いから震えも止まらなかったです。帰国してからは笑い話でしたが、本当に途中でギブアップしたかったです。。
ただこれは天候という運だと思うので、仕方ないことですし、交通渋滞で遅れてしまったにも関わらず対応下さった施設の方々には感謝です。
もし次回参加するとしたら間違いなくバギーにします。。

Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, but I still had a great time! I think even those with a fear of heights won't find it too scary since it's over the sea! The sea breeze feels nice, and the driver, who was quite energetic, made it even better!

After finishing an early dinner, we headed to the 4th-floor venue of the Royal Hawaiian Center. With excitement building, the show began. The rock and hula show started off vibrantly and energetically. The singing and hula were wonderful, instantly immersing us in the Hawaiian spirit.

About ten hula dancers performed on stage with instruments like the uli uli and puili, and their acrobatic performances were impressive. After a while, an Elvis Presley impersonator took the stage, and he was amazing—not just in appearance but also in costume and voice! The video of the real Elvis Presley projected beside him was equally captivating.

Next up was a Michael Jackson impersonator. I was truly impressed by the professionalism of both performers! The finale featured a fire dance that was powerful, with the intensity and heat of the dancers' sweat adding to the spectacle. It was incredible!

An hour and a half flew by, and I couldn't take my eyes off the performance for a moment. With excitement still buzzing, we headed back to the hotel, having truly enjoyed a wonderful evening.

早めの夕食を済ませて、ロイヤルハワイアンセンターの4階会場へ。
ワクワクしながら、、さあ始まりました。
ロックフラショーが華やかに賑やかにスタートです。
歌もフラも素敵で一気にハワイアンの気分で盛り上がりました。
10人位のフラダンサーがウリウリやプイリの楽器を持って舞台狭しとダンスされたり、アクロバットを取り入れたパフォーマンスも見ごたえありました。
しばらくすると、エルビスプレスリーのそっくりさん、容姿だけでなく衣装も歌声も素晴らしい！舞台横に映し出されたエルビスプレスリーご本人の映像と何ら引けなく、釘付けです。
なんと次はマイケルジャクソンのそっくりさんです。
おふたりのプロ意識には感服しました！
最後はファイアーダンスです。迫力があり、熱さもダンサーの汗も飛び散ってくる迫力でした。凄い！ていう言葉しかありません。
あっという間の一時間半、片時も目を離さずにはいられません。
興奮冷めやらぬ気持ちでホテルに向かいましたが、本当に楽しい夜を過ごせました。

Fantastic day, long but we’ll organized and there is so much to see and learn. Our guide Kimoke’o was knowledgeable and gracious! Great stories, kept us all laughing too. Thank you so much for a wonderful day and for sharing the day with us!

Great time parasailing. The boat crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience! The check in process was very smooth, and they even offer photo services which is a great idea

We experienced a 2-hour horseback riding course with four people. The person who rode at the front wasn't very skilled at handling the horse, so after an hour, one person was taken off the horse and made to wait at the meeting point. I think the criteria for judgment were too strict. I believe that beginners should decline to ride at the front. While I understand it was for safety reasons, as a tourist participating, it left a bad aftertaste. Beginners might want to avoid this course.

乗馬2時間コースを４人で体験しました。
先頭で乗馬した人間が、あまり上手く馬を取り扱えなかった為、１時間を過ぎた所で、１人馬から降ろされ、集合場所で待たされました。
判断基準が厳しすぎると思います。
経験が浅い方は、先頭は断った方が良いと思います。
安全の為、仕方ないとは思いましたが、
観光客として参加した為、後味は悪くなりました。
初心者は、このコースは、控えたほうが良いのかもしれません。

I was moved by the experience of nature that you can't find in Japan! If you go to Hawaii, I definitely recommend trying horseback riding or something similar, but there are some points to be aware of. There is a proper Japanese video for driving instructions, so that's not a problem, but on the day of my visit, there wasn't a single staff member who spoke Japanese. If you don't understand English at all, you might not grasp the explanations about the filming locations. (There were no simple Japanese explanations provided either.)

日本では味わえないような大自然を体験でき、感動しました！ハワイに行かれる際は乗馬かどちらか是非体験してほしいですが、注意点もあります。運転の方法はきちんと日本語のビデオがあるので問題ありませんが、当日のスタッフで日本語を話せる方は1人もいませんでした。英語がさっぱりな方映画ロケ地の説明等は分からないと思います。(簡単な単語レベルの日本語の補足もありません)

I was finally able to see the Rock-a-Hula show again after a long time (maybe the third time?). You can enjoy a high-level show featuring impersonators of Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and some people I didn't recognize (laughs), along with a hula show. However, it seemed like Michael Jackson was a bit tired? I felt that his sharpness was slightly lacking. Still, it brought back memories of that time, and I had a very moving and enjoyable experience. The venue is located within the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, making it easily accessible for older individuals, so I highly recommend it.

久しぶりに、ロック・ア・フラショーを観る事が出来ました。（多分、3回目？）エルビス・プレスリー、マイケル・ジャクソン、知らない人（笑）のそっくりさん達と、フラショーを交えたレベルの高いショーが楽しめます。ただ、マイケル・ジャクソンさん、少しお疲れだったのでしょうか？あのキレッ！キレ！さが少し欠けていたように感じました。それでも、当時の事を思い出し、とても感動し、楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました。開催場所も、ロイヤル・ハワイアン・ショッピングセンター内にあり、高齢な方でも気軽にアクセスしやすい場所なので、お勧めします。

It was thrilling. There were staff members who spoke Japanese and provided detailed explanations. They took photos and videos with a GoPro, which I purchased as a keepsake. I also appreciated that there was no pressure regarding the photos, which made it even more appealing. You can't experience this in Japan. I want to go again.

スリル満点でした。日本語が喋れるスタッフがいて説明も丁寧に教えてくれました。GoProでの写真、動画撮影をしてくれたので 購入し思い出となりました。写真なども強制感が無かったところがまた魅力的に感じました。日本だと味わえないです。また行きたいです。

If you are looking for the best you have found it. Captain Mark handles the boat like a pro. The staff is the best in the world. The trip and experiences are phenomenal. My husband loved the water slide. I had an amazing time snorkeling. Seeing sea turtles, trigger fish and more. Whales were supper cool. The views are breath taking.

We went with a couple in their 30s and 20s, along with four children aged 1 and 2! I didn't have high expectations because the price was low compared to other hula shows, but it pleasantly surprised me.

The entertainment was a mix of various genres, including rock and roll, Hawaiian music, and hula dancing! What stood out the most was the show featuring Michael Jackson, which I know well. His classic songs were performed live by a band, and there was also a collaboration with dance footage of Michael himself, which got everyone in the audience excited. However, during Michael's "Thriller," the children started crying, so families with kids might want to sit further back, haha. There was also an Elvis Presley show, but since I wasn't very familiar with that artist, I wished I had studied more about him.

The hula dance show was also a highlight. They showcased hula dancing, an essential part of Hawaiian culture, with energetic performances that made us feel vibrant. The fire dance, in particular, was an impressive performance!!

The performance lasted about an hour, which was a manageable time for the kids, and since it was right in the heart of Waikiki, the access was great. I think it's a very easy-going hula show to participate in. I definitely want to go again next time!

30代と20代の夫妻、そして1歳児、2歳児の子どもたち4名で行ってきました！
他のフラショーと異なり、金額が安いため、そこまで期待していなかったのですが、良い意味でそれは裏切られました。

ロックンロールやハワイアンミュージック、フラダンスなど、様々なジャンルが織り交ぜられたエンターテインメントでした！特に印象に残ったのは、私もよく知っているマイケル・ジャクソンのショーでした。生演奏のバンドと共にマイケルの名曲が演奏され、その後にはマイケル本人のダンス映像とのコラボレーションもあり、会場全員ノリノリになっていました。
ただ、マイケルのスリラーで、子どもたちが泣き出してしまったので、子連れ家族は後ろの座席のほうがいいかもしれません笑
また、エルビスプレスリーのショーもあったのですが、こちらは私があまりその歌手を知らなかったので、もっと勉強しておけばよかったと思いました。

フラダンスのショーも見どころのひとつでした。ハワイアンカルチャーに欠かせないフラダンスを、エネルギッシュな演出と共に披露しているため、見ているこちらも華やかな気持ちになりました。特にファイヤーダンスは圧巻のパフォーマンスでした！！

パフォーマンスの時間も1時間程度と時間拘束も少なく、子どもたちも飽きず、かつ、ワイキキど真ん中の会場のためアクセスも良くて、非常に気軽に参加できるフラショーだと思います。ぜひ次も行きます！

The weather was great, and it was almost hot even in just a camisole. There are lockers available on-site for $5, so I recommend storing your belongings and outerwear before the experience. You can bring your phone with you.

It had been a while since I went horseback riding, but the instructor was kind, and I had the best experience. I highly recommend it!

天気にも恵まれ、キャミソール一枚でも暑いくらいでした。現地にロッカー(5ドル)があるので、荷物や上着などを体験前に預けることをお勧めします。携帯は持ち込み可能です。
久しぶりの乗馬でしたが、インストラクターの方も優しく最高の体験ができました。おすすめです！

This was such a great luau! The show was just awesome! The 2 guys that did the pig ceremony were great and made us laugh. The dancers were fabulous!! The gal that Did all the introductions of all the dancers and interacted with the audience (MC) was so awesome and interacted with everyone. The organization of the food (which was wonderful) getting everyone though the line in a fast organized manner was great. John our bus driver was great, he was on time, organized… it was just a great experience! Thank you !! I’m one of a group of 6, I tried the poi and I liked it !!

The people were fantastic and the fishing was great! My son (10) and I had a blast! My son also really enjoyed seeing whales and sea turtles on our trip. We highly recommend this excursion for anyone!

Great staff, explained everything properly, I’ve been here before and came back with family, because I had great memories from being here before - best kayak rental place on Oahu in my opinion. We did not take any pictures because we wanted to keep our phones safe but you get to see a lot of awesome wildlife! Thank you so much for awesome memories!

I enjoyed the scenery that can only be seen while riding on the back of a gentle and cute horse. It was reassuring to have the guide running alongside us. If you're a complete beginner at horseback riding, it might be a bit tiring.

おとなしくて可愛い馬の背中に揺られながら、馬に乗らなければ見られない景色を楽しみました。

The day I went, the horseback riding tour I had planned was canceled due to strong winds, so unfortunately, I had to change to other activities, which was disappointing. Well, it can't be helped since it's the weather...

行った日が、すごい強風のため乗馬で見学する予定がキャンセルとなり、残念ながら他のアクティビティに変更せざるを得なかったので、残念でした。まぁ、天候なので仕方ないですが…。

I used this for my honeymoon. The weather was perfect on the day, and with calm winds, we had a stunning view of Diamond Head and the entire Maunalua Bay area, creating the best memories.

*Since the boat is small, it does sway quite a bit (which is fun too), but if you are prone to motion sickness, taking anti-nausea medication is a must. It takes a bit of time to get out to sea.

The parasailing time is 6-7 minutes, but it was thrilling enough, so it felt like plenty of time.

The captain and the pilot were both very cheerful and unique, making for a fun experience throughout!

ハネムーンで利用しました。当日は天気に恵まれ、風も落ち着いた中、ダイヤモンドヘッドからマワラ湾一帯を一望でき、最高の思い出になりました。

※船が小型のため、なかなか揺れます(それも楽しいですが)乗り物酔いしやすい方は酔い止め必須です。
沖に出るまでそれなりに移動します。

パラセイル時間は6-7分ですが、スリル満点のため、十分な時間でした。

キャプテンと操縦士もとても明るくユニークな方で、終始楽しいひとときでした！

this is a nice day on the water with a nice boat ride. Crew is very nice. It is $160 per person including transportation, and for that you get a seat on the boat maybe if you can find one, a cheeseburger with baked beans and fruit for lunch, a trip to a sandbar where either you play volleyball or stand around, then a trip to a reef to see little fish and turtles.

I had a full two hours of horseback riding. I had a great time. Along the way, I also encountered some cute wild boars, which was really fun.

We were picked up by Shorts exactly on time and found our guide to be helpful, kind and informative. He was a great driver and answered any questions we had. He provided clear instructions on what to do when and was very patient with our group that ranged from the elderly in a wheelchair to the young kids. He gave us options on lunch and have us plenty of time to sightsee. Shorts is highly recommended!!!

I am 70 years old, in pretty good shape but was worried about my ability to do this. (All the others in my group were 30-40 years). Not only was I able to do it, I kept up with the youngsters and conquered my fear of heights. The staff here were outstanding. They put safety first, remembered all of our names and kept everything fun and light hearted. The views from the platforms were spectacular and the lines were long and up high above the trees. (My only complaint would be that I wish there was a restroom maybe at the halfway point of the excursion). Other than that, I would highly recommend this for any thrill seekers out there. You did have to endure some physical as well as mental challenges along the way. There were some steep steps to climb, a bumpy ATV ride from the first platform to the second, a controlled bungee leap off of two of the platforms and one where you had to pull yourself up using a block and tackle rope pulley. Fun, fun fun……

Had the best time!! Recommend everyone do the ATV raptor tour, you get to see so much of the ranch which is just beautiful. The history of the ranch (staff is very knowledgeable about the ranch and a pleasure to have as guides) and stops that we did were great and the icing on top was that we got to see some dinosaurs! Can’t wait to go back as I would do it again.

The food was good, the entertainment and the sunset view was incredible!

I communicated my lack of confidence in swimming, so they were attentive and held my hand, allowing me to swim without anxiety. Seeing the beautiful fish and coral made the stress from the long COVID-19 pandemic disappear. I was able to rent a bodysuit and prescription mask, and the two instructors who spoke Japanese were very kind. I would like to use this service again. Thank you!

泳ぎに自信がない事を伝えていたので気を配ってくれ、手をつないでもらい不安なく泳ぎました。
きれいな魚や珊瑚をみて長かったコロナ禍でのストレスが吹っ飛びました。
レンタルのボディスーツ、度付きマスクも借りれて日本語の分かるお二人のインストラクターの方が優しいです。
また利用したいです。

I watched it on the first day of my arrival in Hawaii.
You can listen to music from famous people in America who have connections to Hawaii.
It's very well done and interesting, with performances that you wouldn't see in Japan, so I think it's worth a look.
However, the music being played is somewhat dated, so if you're in your 30s, it might lack excitement.
I was able to watch it until the end, but my companion, since it was the first day of our arrival, slept through the whole thing from start to finish! (laughs)

ハワイ到着初日に視聴。
アメリカで有名な人の音楽でかつハワイに縁のある人の音楽が聴けます。
とても、上手で面白く、日本ではみないような演出をしてくださるので、一見の価値はあるかと思います。
ただ、流れてくる音楽の世代がいささか古いので、30代前後だと面白味に欠ける可能性はあるかもしれません。
僕は最後までしっかり見れましたが、連れは到着初日ということもあり最初から最後までずっと寝てました笑

Upon arriving at Kualoa Ranch, a staff member who spoke Japanese explained the facilities. After that, we were guided to the reception for each activity, and from then on, I communicated with the staff in English. Important instructions, such as how to ride a horse, were provided in a Japanese video, which was reassuring.

We rode horses in a single line across the vast land for two hours. Along the way, the guide explained in English that this was the location used in a scene from Jurassic World. About 30 minutes in, the horse I was riding started to act up because it seemed to have an itchy belly. For safety reasons, the guide arranged for me to switch horses. The guide handled the situation smoothly and with a smile, which helped ease my anxiety. This led to a lot of enjoyable conversations with the guide as we continued on our ride!

With Kualoa Mountain in the background, we were able to take photos, and after the tour, I received the pictures via AirDrop. Professional photos were also available for purchase for $20. This two-hour experience of riding horses and enjoying the breathtaking scenery became an unforgettable memory!

クアロアランチに着くと、日本語が話せる方が拠点となる施設の説明をしてくれました。
その後、それぞれのアクティビティの受付に案内され、それ以降は英語のみでスタッフの方と会話しました。馬の乗り方など、大切なことは日本語のビデオで説明があったので安心でした。

馬に乗って1列で広大な土地の中を2時間移動しました。途中でガイドの方から英語で、ここはジュラシックワールドのこの場面で使われたところです、などの説明が聞けました。
開始30分ほどで、私の乗っていた馬が、お腹がかゆいようで少し暴れ出しました。安全のために、ガイドさんの乗っていた馬と交換してもらいました。私が不安にならないようにガイドさんが笑顔でスムーズに対応してくれました。それをきっかけに、ガイドさんとたくさん会話しながら進むことができ、私としてはとっても楽しかったです！
クアロア山を背景に、写真を撮ってもらえて、ツアーが終わった後airdropで写真をもらうことができました。
プロの方に撮ってもらった写真も、20ドルで購入可能でした。
馬に乗って絶景を楽しんだこの2時間は、一生忘れられない経験になりました！
