I have visited the Polynesian Cultural Center several times, so this time I participated in Paradise Cove for the first time. There were few Japanese participants, and most of the communication in the shuttle was in English, so it might be tough if you can't speak it. You can enjoy hula, tattoo experiences, and lei making until the buffet and show start at sunset. A whole roasted pig is brought out, and the buffet offers sliced meat, but the food is quite simple, consisting of vegetable salad, pork, chicken, fruit, and dessert. As for the show, the host's talk felt a bit long, but overall it created a nostalgic Hawaiian atmosphere that I enjoyed.

We participated as a couple. I was worried because I could hardly understand Japanese, but it was good that they used a projector with explanations mixed in Japanese. We did some stretching before entering the sea, but I almost gave up paddling out. The female instructor helps the women, but the men have to do it on their own. Do your best! I was able to stand up multiple times while surfing, and it was really fun. If you get seasick, be careful because you might get sick while surfing too.

In the rush to get onto the next flight (which was within an hour of our cancelation) we forgot to inform Veltra about our flight change. When we landed in Honolulu (around 11 pm) we left a voice mail at their office - the next day they called me and then delivered 3 beautiful and fresh orchid leis (nicely packaged) to our hotel. I used to think, "Why go to a pool in Hawaii when there's an ocean?" but after watching a Japanese celebrity visit this facility on a program introducing Hawaii, I wanted to go. Finally, I was able to go this time. They picked us up at the hotel on time, and we set off by bus!!

From the opening at 10:30 AM until closing at 3:30 PM, my husband and I, both in our 40s, screamed our hearts out. Perhaps because it was the end of November, the park was not crowded, and we could enjoy everything without waiting. It was great to let out loud screams and have a blast! However, it seemed like only Japanese people were screaming, while the Caucasians were more subdued... (>_<)

There are plenty of pools for children, so I think even small kids can have a great time. Renting a locker costs $15, but you get $5 back when you return the key. I signed up for a tour without meals, so I had to pay for food separately, but you can get pizza, hot dogs, and hamburgers inside the park for about $10.

Food and drinks other than water are not allowed, and there is a bag check before entering the park.

The Shaka and Tornado rides were terrifying at first, but once I tried them, they were incredibly fun!! However, it seems I was tense, and I felt pain all over my body the next day and the day after.

You won't understand how fun it is unless you go. I highly recommend it for families with children and couples—definitely visit at least once!

お水以外の飲食物は、持ち込み禁止で入園する前に荷物検査があります。

シャカやトルネードは、最初、やるまでは恐怖でしたが、やって見ると最高に面白い！！
でも、体に力が入っていたみたいで翌日も翌々日も身体のあっちこっちが痛いです。

This sunset dinner and snorkel sail was excellent! The catamaran was very spacious with plenty of space to walk around and two spacious clean bathrooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and the photographer was exceptional! The food for dinner was also very good! After being in Hawaii for four days already and snorkeling each day, I am so glad I took with snorkel tour since it was by far the best snorkeling with beautiful reefs and sea life, and the photographer came into the water and took underwater photos of us! A jump drive with all the photos cost $40 and was well worth it! Of note do take some motion sickness medicine, you are on a boat! Overall I would highly recommend this trip to any one who wants to see great corral and beautiful sea life!

Honestly, I felt the price was high, but the experience was worth it. I was able to kiss, touch, and swim with the dolphins. The pool was located a bit away from the facility. My sister and I had a blast during this, our first, parasailing adventure. For anyone concerned about any jerking movements during take-off or landing, put your fears to rest. The ride was completely smooth and the view is breathtaking! One more thing crossed off our bucket list.

The sandbar was more beautiful than I imagined! It's a place I want to visit again. The weather wasn't very good, so snorkeling was a bit disappointing, but I got to see sea turtles, and I'm very satisfied!

Since it was a weekday, there were only two groups with four participants. They adjusted to the pace of the participants, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful sea without any pressure. At the beginning, they provided a brief introduction to the basics of snorkeling, which made it reassuring for complete beginners.

Our guide, Alan, was friendly and also understood Japanese, making communication easier in case of any issues, which added to our sense of safety (although there were no incidents at all, it was comforting just in case).

I participated in the morning session, and although it rained just before we arrived, it cleared up by the time we got there. The waves were calm, and we were able to observe various types of fish slowly. Along the way, we were fortunate enough to spot two turtles, which I thought was very lucky.

平日参加だったためか、2組4名の少人数でした。参加者のペースに合わせて回ってくれるので、無理なく綺麗な海を楽しめました。はじめに簡単にシュノーケリングの基礎を教えてもらえるので、全くの初心者でも安心です。
ガイドのアランさんは気さくな上に日本語も分かる方なので、いざという時に意思の疎通が測りやすいと思われ、安全面でも安心感がありました。(ハプニング等は全くありませんでしたが、万が一のため)
午前の会に参加し、直前に雨が降りましたが、到着時には晴れました。波も穏やかで、
いろいろな種類の魚をゆっくり観察できました。途中には2匹もカメの姿を見かけることができ、とても幸運だったと思います。

I participated in somewhat gloomy weather, but luckily I was able to see the sandbar. I also took some really nice photos. I think it would be amazing if the weather were good.
