After 20 years, I finally took a trip to Hawaii, and I decided to go snorkeling, which has been my long-time dream. The participants included three young couples who seemed to be newlyweds, all of whom had experience, while my husband and I, a middle-aged couple, had none. We were filled with anxiety, worried about being a burden since we weren't confident swimmers. After receiving thorough explanations, we entered the water, practiced breathing through our mouths with fins and masks. At that moment, my anxiety peaked! I thought, "Oh no, this might be tough," and then my husband declared, "I can't do this," and wanted to give up. His face was tense and pale as he said he just wanted to splash around in the shallow water. However, Chieko-san wouldn't let him off that easily and half-forced him to continue (laughs). My husband held my right hand and Chieko-san's left hand tightly, thinking, "It's okay to let go of my right hand, but I absolutely can't let go of my left hand," as he swam.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles, but we were able to see plenty of coral, beautiful fish, and schools of fish. Chieko-san was always by our side, reassuring us that we were doing great, which allowed my husband to enjoy the experience until the end. If we had given up at that moment, we wouldn't have created such wonderful memories. The photos posted on Facebook are also so much fun! Thank you so much, Chieko-san and Dan! I highly recommend this tour.

20ン年ぶりのハワイ旅行、ずっと念願だったシュノーケルを思いきってお願いしました。参加者は、私達中年夫婦以外は、新婚さんと思われる若いカップルが3組で、皆経験あり。私達といえば、経験なしの泳ぎも自信無く、足手まといにならないか不安でいっぱい。一通りの丁寧な説明をうけ、海に入り、フィン、マスクをつけて口呼吸
の練習。この時不安は最高潮！うわ〜苦しいかも〜と思ったら、私以上に夫が「俺、だめだ」とリタイア宣言。「この辺りでチャプチャプ遊んでいたい」という夫の顔はこわばり青ざめていました。が！チエコさんはいいとは言ってくれず、半ば無理やり連れていかれました（笑）夫は右手を私、左手をチエコさんにしっかり握られ、「右はいいけど左手は絶対はなしたらアカン」と思いながら泳いでいたらしいです。
残念ながらウミガメには会えませんでしたが、サンゴや綺麗な魚、魚の群れなどをたくさん見る事ができました。チエコさんはいつもそばにいてくれて、大丈夫だよ〜上手にできてる〜と声をかけてくれていたお陰で、夫も最後まで楽しむことができました。あのとき諦めていたら、こんなに楽しい思い出にはできませんでした。フェイスブックにアップされた写真も楽しい！チエコさん、ダンさんほんとうにありがとう‼️すごくおすすめ出来るツアーです。

I was thrilled to see the whale right in front of me. However, the rocking of the boat was severe, and my whole family got seasick. That was disappointing. I almost got seasick for the first time myself, so it might have been a bit tough for the kids.

We attended a wedding celebration in Ko Olina with 14 family members. The sunset was so beautiful that it’s etched in my memory. The show was authentic. We were the only Japanese group there, but it felt great to be in a foreign land. Even though I didn’t understand the language, the atmosphere made it manageable. I definitely recommend it.

コオリナでの結婚式の打ち上げで親族14名で参加しました。夕陽がとても綺麗で目に焼き付きます。ショーは本格的です。日本人のグループは私達だけでしたが異国に来た感があってよかったです。言葉はわからないけど雰囲気でなんとかなります。是非お勧めします。

The weather in the morning was really nice, and the view of Hanauma Bay was beautiful. The sea was also clear, and I was able to see a lot of fish!! It was so much fun to swim together!! The guide taught us various things and even held our hands while swimming. It's a shame that I couldn't see any turtles.

I handed the voucher to the female staff at the entrance, took a seat, and placed my order. After finishing my meal, another staff member brought the bill, which surprised me. When I informed them that I had given a voucher, they headed to the register and I waited for 10 minutes. In the end, it was confirmed that there was no charge, but the coordination among the staff was terrible. I hope they receive proper training. The food was delicious, so next time I plan to go directly to the restaurant without making a reservation.

I participated in a dolphin and sea turtle watching tour in the morning. I was able to see many dolphins both from the boat and while snorkeling. The sight of a pod of dolphins swimming below and coming up to the surface for air was breathtaking. I wish I could have seen a few more sea turtles. I would love to participate again.

Upon reflection, I realized I participated even though I have a fear of heights (laughs). Even at 45 meters, it was thrilling enough. However, the experience of viewing all of Waikiki and the beautiful ocean from above was exceptional!

I just wish I had known that for an additional $30, I could have had photos taken on the day. I went without that knowledge and only had money for tips... It was difficult to capture my experience with my own camera. So, I give it ★4!

Booking with VELTRA was really easy and fast, I gave them my information and they took care of the rest for me.

Dolphin Excursions Hawaii was also great! I had no problems with my pick up and
the boat crew was kind, friendly and helpful, they took many incredible pictures during the tour.

The West Side of the Island is beautiful. Snorkeling was amaaazing, we spotted so many dolphins, turtles and different species of fish. After the tour we had lunch at the Spinners Cafe, the food was very tasty.

I love marine life, especially dolphins, they are incredible animals! I had a lot of fun! This tour was the highlight of my trip.

I recommend it as long as you have at least basic English skills. You can enjoy interactive activities. My husband also had a great time. The bus guide actively communicated while incorporating some Japanese, and I am grateful for that. (Please don't expect high quality food at this kind of tour buffet.)

I went on my honeymoon! The price isn't particularly cheap, but I felt more than satisfied and moved by the experience!! The staff were all cheerful and friendly, and the time flew by (≧∇≦). Especially, the Japanese staff member Yuki was very kind and attentive, which was great!!

We took a lot of wonderful photos at the sandbar, creating fantastic memories! The lunch featured hearty burgers, and enjoying it while listening to the captain's live guitar and singing, with a beautiful view of the sea, was exceptional!!

After lunch, we had plenty of time for turtle watching and encountered many sea turtles!! They even threw in some bread for snorkeling, which attracted lots of fish, and I was very satisfied!! If I ever go to Hawaii again, I would definitely want to join this tour!!

ハネムーンで行きました！値段はそんなに安くは無いですが、値段以上の感動や、満足感が得られました！！スタッフのかたもみんな陽気でフレンドリーな方達であっとゆう間でした（≧∇≦）特に日本人スタッフのユキさん？やさしくて、すごく気を使って頂いて良かったです！！

The staff were incredibly friendly and it was a lot of fun. The ocean was beautiful, the boat ride was pleasant, and playing beach volleyball was enjoyable. Snorkeling was great too, as I got to see beautiful fish and turtles. But the highlight was definitely seeing six manta rays swimming in a circle—what an amazing experience! Also, the burgers that the captain grilled were incredibly delicious! They might have been the best burgers I've ever had in Hawaii. Next time, I want to go to the sandbar on a clear day. I definitely want to participate again next year.

At the end of October, I participated in the first tour of the day! It was a day with rain in the forecast, but it only rained briefly like a downpour. It seems that as the rainy season begins, there will be more rainy days ahead.

I thought there might be others who are unsure whether to choose a short morning tour or a longer one, but since I don't have much stamina, the 45-minute snorkeling was just enough for me (laughs).

The guide was Japanese, funny, and provided thorough explanations, making it a well-organized tour. I encountered sea turtles and mantas, making it an amazing tour that I highly recommend.

雨予報の日でしたが、スコールみたいで一次的にしか降りませんでした。雨季が始まる頃、今後は雨の日が多くなるみたいです。

I was worried it would be disappointing if it rained at the sandbar, but we were blessed with wonderful weather, and I got to see many sea turtles. The sandwiches for our light meal were delicious, and our guide was fantastic. However, one thing that was a bit disappointing for me was that the sandbar was only knee-deep in seawater, which was different from the image I had seen on TV.

Let me start off by saying I NEVER leave reviews...which I need to work on because I am always checking them out before I do/buy things. So, this is my way of giving back.

My boyfriend and I went to Hawaii in the middle of Oct. This was our first trip to Hawaii so we were very excited! You can't go to Hawaii for the first time w/o attending a luau :-) They picked us up from our hotel at 3:30 pm. It was a long drive, took about 45 min. There is an entertainer on the bus to keep everyone awake. Once we got there we were given a mai tai & took a professional photo with a female & male dancer. Before the dinner you can walk around & play games, enjoy the scenery, etc. There were also small shows in between such as a hula lesson, the pig roasting, etc, Once dinner starts you enjoy the rest of the show that is on stage. It is very interactive as they ask for volunteers to come on stage. My favorite part was the fire juggler. The dinner was okay, but there are options for vegetarians & people who do not eat pork. The bar had really good drinks! My boyfriend had the paradise punch & I had the melon colada which was delicious! We did purchase the professional pic that was taken of us, which is a nice memory :-)

Overall, I would recommend especially if this is your first time in Hawaii. We returned to our hotel at about 10 pm, so round trip it is an all night event.

Let me start off by saying I NEVER post reviews...which I need to work on because I am always checking them out before I do/buy things. This was my boyfriend & I first trip to Hawaii so we were very excited! We chose the Five Star package because of the jazz music (we attended a luau the night before & did not want to have the same theme).

They picked us up from our hotel at 4:30 pm. From the very beginning we were treated like VIP. We were led to the top deck to have champagne & o'dourves with the captain. We also got to take a professional pic with the captain, which was cool. After that, we were led to our seat inside the ship. We had a window seat & loved it. We were a little worried about getting seasick, but it wasn't a problem. I was a little concerned about the food at first because neither one of us are into fancy food, but it was pretty good (as stated before we chose that package specifically for the music). Instead of the lobster we chose a stuffed chicken option which was my favorite! For our steak entree we asked that it was cooked well done & it was the most tender steak ever! Throughout the dinner you can step outside as you please to feel the breeze, take in the views, & take pics.

The ambiance was beautiful! There was a live pianist, saxophonist/flutist, & singer. They were great! In the end they gave us the photo we took with the captain in a nice album cover with a pic of the ship on the water. Also, all of the ladies were given a rose. The only thing I WISH I would have did was asked for another copy of the photo so my boyfriend & I can both have one :-( I didn't even think about it until we returned back to our home state. I called 3 days later to see if we could get a copy; they sent an email to the photo dept. but almost 2 weeks later & I still haven't heard anything.

Overall, I highly recommend! This is perfect for a romantic date night! The cruise lasted about 2 hrs. This was a great way to end our trip in Hawaii.

Parasail Hawaii Tour & Jet Ski Ride Watersports Adventure Combo at Maunalua Bay

Let me start off by saying I NEVER post reviews...which I need to work on because I am always checking them out before I do/buy things. So, this is my way of giving back. This was my boyfriend & I first trip to Hawaii. We've always wanted to Jet Ski so decided to try this company out. We did the parasail/jet ski combo. I was a little hesitant about this company because of the reviews. There were only 7 on this website, but I found others on other websites that had me a little worried. The ONLY reason I decided to stick with them is because of the Go Pro cameras and I am so glad I did! We had a blast!! There is a little waiting around between activities, but we were on a boat chilling so who's complaining?? :-) I saw many reviews that complained about the jet ski path because it is just a circle, but that didn't bother us either. We had a great time! The jet skis pick up to a pretty high speed! It lasted about 30 min. After jet ski'ing we took another boat out further into the ocean & went parasailing. That was an awesome experience as well! We were in the air for about 5 min. A lot of people's favorite part of parasailing is getting dipped into the water, but we asked that they not do that because we're not big on getting into the ocean lol (sounds crazy right). Because of that they decided to let us go higher in the air lol, so that was pretty cool.

They picked us up at our hotel at 7:50 am, started around 8:30 am and were back at 12:00 pm. In the beginning I was a little worried about what time we would get back because we had a pick up time of 3:30 pm for a luau, but it all worked out.

Overall, I would totally do this again! The people on the boats were cool, friendly, laid back, & very experienced. We did other activities while in Hawaii but this was my boyfriend's favorite :-) I cannot remember how much the pics & dvd cost, I want to say $35 for all of the pics & $65 for the dvd but we purchased both. What a great memory to have!

At 41 years old, I tried surfing for the first time! I was really anxious about whether I could do it. The instructor was a foreigner, and right after picking me up, they asked if I could speak English, which made me even more nervous... All the explanations on the beach were in English... I honestly wondered if I would be okay.

But thinking "you learn by doing," I took the board and headed to the ocean. I was told that there were good waves suitable for beginners, and somehow, after about three tries, I managed to stand on the board. The instructor only spoke very simple Japanese, like "Paddle!" and "Are you okay?" But they made an effort to communicate using the Japanese I knew and gestures. インストラクターの方は本当にかんたんな日本語しか喋れなかったです。「漕いで！」とか「大丈夫？」とか。でも知ってる日本語やジェスチャーを使ってなんとか伝えようと努力してくださいました。また潮の流れのせいか私が他のツアー客の方とはぐれたときなどはすぐ駆けつけてくださったり、途中私が疲れてると思ったのか「休憩（する）？」と声をかけてくださったり、日本語が通じないながらも気遣いが感じられる対応でした。
私は女性を希望しなかったので、インストラクターは男女の２名でした。（ツアー客は私を含め５人でした）
英語に拒絶反応を示す方には厳しいかもしれません。
でもインストラクターの方は気さくで楽しい人たちでしたし、サーフィンそのものも楽しむことができ、私としてはとても満足のいく内容でした。

This was my first sandbar experience, and I was super excited! Until yesterday, the weather had been completely clear! But today... it’s all gloomy~~ and there’s even a bit of light rain. When we arrived at the yacht harbor, the rain had stopped, but the sky was still overcast. It was a bit chilly, but we gathered our spirits and set sail for turtle watching.

At 11 o'clock, we spotted a manta ray—wait, a manta ray? Apparently, the chances of seeing one are lower than that of seeing a sea turtle. Lucky us! We were able to see plenty of sea turtles and then headed to the sandbar. The tide was as expected since we checked it beforehand; it was a bit cold at first, but we got used to it quickly. It felt amazing!! Even though it was cloudy, the clear sea was beautiful—if only the weather had been nice, it would have been perfect! Why did it have to be like this just on this day? Plus, it cleared up in the afternoon. I guess it’s just my bad luck... something to work on for next time.

This activity was a highlight of our trip! The crew was great & we had a blast snorkeling/Snuba-ing! We highly suggest doing the SNUBA! Ross was our guide, and helped make us feel comfortable with everything and helped make our experience great! Food and Drinks were an added bonus. Didn't see any Dolphins, but plenty of beautiful fish, starfish, & turtles. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

Every time we go to Waikiki, we request to enjoy the slides and the lazy river here. Since my child is still in elementary school, they prefer the pool over the ocean. Both parents and kids can have fun together. I'm sure we'll visit again on our next trip.

The Polynesian show is too long, so this one might be recommended for families with children. The buffet was just okay; it wasn't delicious, and the drinks were mostly sweet cocktails, which I can see wouldn't appeal much to Japanese people. However, the view is the best in Hawaii, and the sunset is very beautiful. Thanks to the scenery, I left without being angry. I won't be returning.

ウエルカムドリンクは早くから作りすぎて氷で薄まってまずい。バスガイドは、やたらと　エブリワン　セイ　って、何回も。ご他聞に漏れず　日本人は私達だけでした。ショーーはやたら合間に歌や語りが入り、ショー自体も短くて　あっという間に終わりました。ポリネシアンの方がよいです。ポリネシアンは長くすぎるので、子連れにはこちらがおすすめかも。ビュッフェも　まあこんなもんかと、美味しくはないです　お酒も甘いカクテルのようなものばかりだし、　日本人には　あまり受けないのがよくわかります。ですが、景色はハワイで一番です　夕日がとてもきれいです。景色のおかげで　まあ、怒らず帰りました。リピはないです。
