First, I took the city bus "The Bus" in Hawaii to the meeting point, but I was about 3 minutes late due to a bus delay. I knew I would be late when I got on the bus, so I contacted them via email. When I arrived, the staff kindly greeted me in Japanese, saying, "That must have been tough, but it's okay!"

Participants who had the same schedule had already gone out to the jet ski area by boat, and I waited at the reception for about 15 minutes. I was able to board a boat that was taking other activity participants to the jet ski area. The boat staff also spoke casually in Japanese.

Once I arrived at the jet ski area, the staff continued to speak kindly in Japanese, joking with me and making me feel that they were considerate about my tardiness, saying, "Don't worry about being late!" They explained how to ride the jet ski and the etiquette in Japanese, so I had no trouble understanding.

The actual jet ski experience was exhilarating, racing across the sea. Although the speedometer showed around 30 kilometers per hour, it felt much faster. The refreshing sensation of speeding under the sun, with ocean spray splashing around, was fantastic. The activity involved repeatedly circling four buoys in a clockwise direction, and it was a great way to enjoy jet skiing. The waves were high that day, causing the jet ski to sway and making it necessary to get used to handling it (I think you could get accustomed to it after 2-3 laps, but it depends on the environment and the person). I rode tandem with my wife, who found it scary after just two laps of driving, so I took over for the rest. While jumping over waves was fun, doing it repeatedly could throw off your balance, which might be a bit scary.

There were about six jet skis participating in the same circuit, maintaining a distance of 20-30 meters apart, with overtaking allowed from the outside. The unique waves created by the jet skis made it difficult to drive if the person in front was too close. When I was driving, a young man in front of me was swerving on purpose, creating irregular waves that made it very hard to steer. I wished he would have followed the etiquette...

By the way, during the ride, a GoPro was mounted on the boat's steering area to take photos and videos. After the tour, when we returned to the reception facility, they showed us the photos, but purchasing them cost over $50.

Overall, it was an unforgettable experience as a marine sport, and the staff were all very kind and attentive, which left a positive impression.

実際のジェットスキー体験は海の上を大激走、メーターでは時速30キロ前後ではあったもののかなり体感速度が速く感じた。太陽の下、海洋の上、吹き上がる水飛沫を受けながら走り抜ける爽快感は見事だった。設置された4つのウキを時計回りに周回するのを繰り返すというものだが、ジェットスキーを手軽に楽しめるという点では申し分ない。当日は波が高く、ジェットスキーが大きく揺られたりハンドルをとられたりすることもあり、運転には少し慣れが必要と感じた(2〜3週すれば慣れると思うが、環境や人による)。自分は妻とタンデムで乗ったが、妻は2週だけ運転して怖かったとのことで、残りはずっと自分が運転した。波を越えるのは楽しいが、何度も連続していると体勢を崩してじい、少し怖いかも。
同時に周回するジェットスキー(参加者)は6台ほどで、基本は20〜30m空けて走行、外側からなら追い越し有り。ジェットスキーの走った後は独特な波が生まれるため、前の人が近いと自然に波に揺られることになる。自分が運転した時は、前にいた青年がわざと蛇行運転をし、波が不規則に立ってしまってとても運転しづらかった。マナーは守ってほしかった...。
ちなみに運転中、GoProをボートのハンドル部分中心につけ、写真や動画を撮ってくれる。ツアーが終わって受付の施設に戻ると写真等を見せてくれるが、購入するには50ドル以上のお金がかかった。
全体としては十分に楽しめるマリンスポーツとして最高の思い出となった。とにかくスタッフがみんな優しく丁寧で好感を持てる。
※乗る前に勧められるゴーグル購入(10ドル)は、ほぼ必要ないと思われる。

It was a bit far, but I was able to walk from Waikiki along the sandy beach. I thought it would be scarier, but it was very pleasant! However, the boat sways quite a bit, so it might be tough for those who get motion sickness. You also need to be careful about meals before and after.

The ticket booth was a bit hard to find, but a kind person nearby helped me out.

I don't understand English, but it was totally fine! My mother, who is in her 60s, was also very happy.

The ocean, river and all around area where we kayaked were beautiful - and the icing on the cake was the abundance of turtles! One of our favourite activities and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone - and wouldn't hesitate to do it again if I was ever lucky enough to return to Oahu!

I went on the 5-Star cruise. I made a reservation with the Celebration Plan (guaranteed window seat) and paid for it, but I was booked under the regular plan. While the manager was confirming my reservation, I couldn't eat the food in front of me for about 30 minutes after being seated. In the end, it turned out that the reservation from VELTRA to Star of Honolulu was under the regular plan, and I was treated as such until the end. I never expected something like this to happen. I'm very disappointed.

Also, it seems that the shuttle bus got caught in traffic, so by the time we arrived, dinner had already started, and other guests who arrived earlier were enjoying their meals.

I thought there might be a separate entrance for the 5-Star guests, but there wasn't anything like that. We all lined up at one entrance to board the ship.

The schedule mentioned that there would be a welcome reception by the captain on the exclusive deck on the top floor for 5-Star guests, but there was nothing of the sort. We were just guided to line up and proceed into the ship.

The food wasn't particularly delicious; it was average. It was mentioned that the meat could be cut with a fork, but it was more like something you could manage to cut with a knife.

I have been to Hawaii several times, and regarding the Hilton fireworks, I've seen them from various places, but sitting on the beach south of the Rainbow Tower is the best spot. Watching the fireworks from the cruise ship was an experience, but since it was from a distance, it lacked impact.

Additionally, guests from the lower deck were casually coming up the stairs to the 5-Star deck. There was a rope at the top of the stairs, but they seemed to know how to unhook it to get in and then rehook it. These were regular guests, not staff.

I was considering this might be my elderly mother's first and last overseas trip, so I regret spending a lot of money and time on this optional tour. I hope this review can be helpful to someone.

乗船する際に5スター用の入口でもあるのかなと思ってましたが、特にそのようなものはなく、大勢で列に並んで一か所の入り口から乗船しました。

5スターだと「最上階の専用デッキでキャプテンによるウェルカムレセプションがある」というスケジュールが記載されていますが、そんなものは一切ありません。列になって船内に進むように案内されました。

料理も、特別おいしいものではなかったですね。普通です。お肉がフォークで切れるという記載がありますが、ナイフでがんばって切れるぐらいの感じでした。

私自身は何度かハワイに行ったことがあり、ヒルトンの花火については、いろいろな場所から見てますが、レインボータワーの南側のビーチに座って見るのが一番ですね。
クルーズ船から花火を見れたことは一つの経験にはなりましたが、遠くから見ることになるので、全然迫力はないです。

それから、下の階のお客さんが、普通に5スターのデッキに階段を上ってきてました。一応階段を上がった先にロープがありますが、手慣れた感じでフックを外して入って、またフックをかけてました。スタッフの方ではなく、一般のお客さんです。

年老いた母を含めた、最初で最後の海外旅行だろうと考えてましたので、このようなオプショナルツアーに大金と時間を使ったことが残念で仕方がないです。

From the beginning the crew made us feel completely comfortable. The trip out to the sandbar was relaxing yet exciting at the same time as we looked back upon the shoreline admiring the greenery that the island presented. The sandbar was just breathtaking!!! It was so amazing to think that we were standing in the ocean on a beach....crazy! The cruise around afterwards presented not only some sea turtles, but two large schools of manta rays feeding on the surface.
Overall trip was completely enjoyable and we plan on bringing all of our friends and family when they visit!!!!
On a side note, parking is extremely difficult in/on the marina, so just park on the side of the highway (everyone does) and it's just a short walk to the boat.
Make this one of your excursions when you visit!!!!!

It was absolutely amazing. I chose the 150m option, and it was the right decision. There were no Japanese people in the same group, but someone from Mexico talked to me, and we exchanged our smartphones to take pictures and videos of each other. I was also able to buy photos taken by the photographer for $40. There are so many pictures and videos from various angles, and just looking back at them is enjoyable.

同じグループに日本人の方はいませんでしたが、メキシコ？の方が話しかけてくださり、互いのスマホを預けて写真や動画を撮り合いました。

We signed up for the basic course for two people and enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling. After kayaking, we went snorkeling, but since I'm not comfortable in deep water, I thought it would have been better to borrow a life jacket. It was also fun to travel by bike to the snorkeling spot. Since it was a self-guided course without a guide, I felt a bit anxious, but I was grateful that Natsue, a Japanese staff member, kindly assisted us, so we were able to enjoy ourselves without any issues. I hope to participate again next time and challenge myself to kayak a bit further and hopefully encounter a honu (sea turtle).

女2人で基本コースを申し込みカヤック、シュノーケルを楽しみました。
カヤック後にシュノーケルをしましたが深いところが苦手なのでライフジャケットを借りたら尚よかったなと思いました。
シュノーケルは自転車で移動したのも楽しかったです。　
現地集合ガイド無しコースだったので少し不安がありましたが、日本人スタッフのなつえさんが親切に対応してくれたので困る事なく過ごすことができてよかった、感謝です。
次回も参加してカヤックで少し遠くまでチャレンジしホヌにも出会えたいいなと思います。

It was the best experience for my first time. The crew members were fun and really helped to create a lively atmosphere. It became a wonderful memory of Hawaii for both my wife and me. There was also a photo session (for an additional fee), and we are still enjoying it after returning home.

I had been thinking about going to Kualoa Ranch for a while, and finally went with my mother.

It seems that if you sign up on-site, there are one-hour and two-hour courses available, but this tour was the two-hour course. The two hours flew by in no time. If you're going to do it, I definitely recommend the two-hour course.

You can explore every corner of the vast Kualoa Ranch and fully enjoy Hawaii's magnificent nature. We even got to drive among a herd of cows, which was quite fun.

They provided confirmations before boarding in Japanese, and the guide was friendly, taking videos and photos when we handed over our smartphones. My elderly mother was also thrilled, and it was a fulfilling day! I highly recommend it.

現地申込み？だと１時間コースと２時間コースがあるようですが、こちらのツアーは２時間コース。
あっという間の２時間でした。

広大なクアロアランチの隅から隅を巡り、ハワイの壮大な自然を満喫できます。
牛の群れの間を走行したりもできました（これがなかなか楽しかった）。

高齢の母も大興奮の充実した１日でした！

I was very scared of heights, and wasn’t too sure I would make it through the activity. But we were a group of 12 including 3 of the staff and I must say the staff were incredibly supportive, attentive, friendly. You could really see they enjoyed what they do. They made us feel safe every step of the way. I’m so sorry I forgot their names, but everyone there was very welcoming. It was a 3 hour activity, 7 zip lines but we had a great time, we didn’t wanted to be over. Beautiful ocean and ranch view. I would go again. Really recommend for everyone.

We departed from the hotel (Moana Surfrider) at 7:30 for an 8:30 meeting. If you go from Kalakaua Avenue through the Fort DeRussy Boardwalk, you'll reach the parking lot where you can easily see the parasailing sign. It took us about 40 minutes to walk there at a leisurely pace.

The view from 150 meters was spectacular, offering a panoramic view from Waikiki Beach to Diamond Head! I was able to take videos by putting my smartphone in a waterproof case. There was also a Japanese person on the same boat, so we took pictures of each other, saving the $40 photo fee.

I've visited Hawaii about five times, but this was my first parasailing experience. I recommend it for both first-timers and repeat visitors!

I think it would have been perfect if the weather had been clear. It was cloudy and cold. The program and staff were very good. The hamburger was delicious, and the staff were kind. I was excited to play volleyball at the sandbar and to see the largest honu I've ever encountered while snorkeling. If I have the opportunity next time, I would like to use this cruise again.

I've been to Hawaii many times, but this was the most fun I've ever had.
Everything was explained in English, but I was able to understand the atmosphere, so it was fine.
The staff were very cheerful, and we all had a great time together!
Of course, enjoying the stunning views was amazing, but climbing, descending, and crossing everything was fun.

The zip line was the best!

The activity exceeded our expectations!
The crew did a get job explaining the rules, what to expect, and why. I felt safe and they included everybody and were interactive, very friendly and personable. This was my first time snorkeling, so I was a little nervous, but they put me at ease. It was truly amazing —-we got to see the giant sea turtles!!!
I also saw at least seven or eight different fish along the reef. And I even was swimming with beautiful school of fish below me!
I like the fact that they introduced us at the sandbar and let us get warmed up to snorkeling, and we had a game of volleyball before we went to the reef. They grilled hamburgers and had barbecued beans, and it was a delicious lunch!
all in all it was a great day, and a memory I will always cherish. I highly recommend this activity and tour to anybody going to Hawaii.
