The weather was great, and we were able to enjoy the city of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean and under the blue sky, which was a different perspective from what we usually see from the land. I challenged myself to float in the sky, and it wasn't scary at all; I was able to enjoy it to the fullest. The staff prioritized safety and were full of humor, which made us feel secure while participating. It's truly an enjoyable activity.

I lined up as soon as the gates opened at 6:45 AM and got my entry ticket for 7:20 AM. I paid $25 in cash, watched an environmental video, and arrived at the beach around 8:00 AM. I put on the rented wetsuit and entered the sea. I encountered a large school of fish and lost track of time until my pickup at 11:00 AM! It was deeply moving to visit Hanauma Bay for the first time in five years since my visit before the pandemic!

I thought it wasn't operating, but I was informed by a staff member just before closing time that it would open at 2 PM, even though it was supposed to be open until 3 PM. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it in time, and my child ended up crying because we were looking forward to it but couldn't ride any of them. I also saw other children who couldn't ride and were crying while their mothers were comforting them. We have a reservation to go again during our stay, but since it's within a week, I don't think we'll be able to ride them. If the schedule could be communicated on the website in advance, it would help us bring our child after explaining the situation, minimizing disappointment. Given the high expectations, I think the shock of this situation is significant for children. 😢 Lunch took a long time to be served unless you lined up early. Even though there were few visitors the other day, it still took a long time for some reason. 😥

It was very reassuring to have a Japanese female staff member who could communicate in Japanese. The lunch burgers and drinks were good! After that, the sea turtle watching was well-timed and satisfying! Unfortunately, the snorkeling included with the coral reef watching was affected by sudden rain, bad weather, and cold temperatures, but there was still plenty of time for watching, and the hot drinks provided on board afterward were great. I was initially worried about language barriers with the multinational group on the small boat, but all the staff made it enjoyable! Choosing this tour was definitely the right decision!

We set off with about 12 people on the boat. There were only two groups of Japanese, including mine, but I had a lot of fun communicating a bit with the other groups. If you get seasick, it might be wise to be careful! The waves were a bit high that day...!

Photos are 137 for $40, and you can decide whether to take them on the boat or not. They take some really good pictures. (Another Japanese couple had a GoPro, so they didn't take any photos! There's no pressure, so it's totally fine to decline.) You can also ask someone else on the same boat to take pictures with your iPhone (it's a bit boring when you're down below...). I also asked for videos and photos.

I think even those who are anxious about flying abroad can feel at ease! I highly recommend it.

To enter Hanauma Bay as soon as it opened, the morning pickup was a bit earlier. I was lucky to catch the sunrise at a nearby coastline while adjusting my schedule before entering!

This was my third visit to Hanauma Bay. The weather was perfect, but the ocean at 7 AM was still quite cold as the water temperature hadn't warmed up yet. Still, the view was absolutely stunning! I was very satisfied to see so many fish.

Tommy picked us up early at a neighboring hotel/resort. As soon as we arrived, he mentioned me and my son by name and I signed a sheet stating we were present. He was kind, patient, relaxed and informative about the area offering great suggestions on different locations. This experience included our entrance fee to Diamond Head State Monument, transportation to and from the hotel. Our hike was moderate and offered beautiful scenery and awesome photo opportunities. The only area I felt somewhat claustrophobic was going into the tunnel on the way up. Tommy provided cold as well as room temperature water and the ride back was comfortable and convenient as we were dropped off right in front of our resort. Thank you for a great experience! Mahalo!

The pool in Japan had views I had never seen before and numerous thrilling water slides, making it a lot of fun for us who love adrenaline-pumping rides. There are also some slightly scary slides, but there are gentle ones as well, so I thought it would be easy to give them a try. One day wasn't enough, so if I travel to Hawaii again, I definitely want to go back.

I participated from the afternoon of my arrival day. Since I arrived in Hawaii in the morning and couldn't check into the hotel until the afternoon, it was a nice point that I could join during the free time. The tour departs from Royal Hawaiian Avenue next to DFS. I was worried about getting lost, but the large bus with a blue ocean illustration caught my eye, and I was able to find it right away. There are also lunch spots nearby, like Aloha Table and Sticks, making it convenient to join before or after lunch.

After telling my name and boarding the bus, I took my designated seat. I heard that the bus is a brand new custom vehicle for this tour! The ride was comfortable, with luxurious seats. Before departure, a staff member provided an explanation. Following their instructions, I put on the VR goggles that were prepared at my seat, and I immediately saw a language selection button in front of me. When I reached out, I pressed the selection button, and it switched to Japanese mode. They mentioned that it uses AR technology to overlay real-world images with virtual space, and MR technology that connects the virtual world with the body, which made me excited for this first-time experience.

Once the headset and language settings were complete, the tour started. The bus route goes around Diamond Head and returns, and it wasn't a long ride. I was worried about feeling dizzy due to lack of sleep, but I was able to enjoy it without any issues until the end.

私は到着日の午後から参加しました。ハワイの到着は現地午前中、ホテルは午後までチェックインができないので、あいた時間に参加できるのは嬉しいポイントです。
ツアーはDFSの横、ロイヤルハワイアン通りから出発します。迷わないか心配でしたが、海の青いイラストが書かれた大きなバスがアイキャッチになり、すぐに「これだ！」と見つけることができました。近くはアロハテーブルやスティックスなどランチ所もあるので、ランチ前後の参加も便利そうです。

名前を伝えてバスに乗ったら、指定の席に座ります。バスはこのツアー特注の新車とのこと！乗り心地も気持ちよい、高級感あるシートでした。
出発前に係の方から説明があります。いわれるがまま席に準備されたVRゴーグルを装着すると、既に何やら言語選択のボタンが目の前に。手を伸ばすと選択ボタンが押され、日本語モードになりました。現実世界の映像と仮想空間が重なるAR技術、バーチャル世界と体が連動するMR技術とのことですが、始めての体験に既にワクワクです。

ヘッドセット、言語セットが完了したら、ツアースタート。バスのルートはダイヤモンドヘッドを一周して戻ってくるコースで、そこまで長時間ではありません。寝不足でデジタル酔いが心配でしたが、最後まで問題なく楽しむことができました。

ツアーでは案内役のマンタが登場。様々なオアフ島の魅力やハワイ情報を教えてくれます。手を伸ばしてバーチャル空間と繋がる体験、ワイキキビーチからイルカや魚が現れたり、完全に異世界に入るシーンもあり、飽きさせない工夫がたくさんでした。見どころは色々ありますが、ネタバレになるので、控えておきます。是非実際に体験してみてください笑

Just before taking off, I was nervous, but during the flight, it was quite stable, and I was able to enjoy the scenery while chatting with my wife. The boat ride to the sand bar was amazing , you get to view the beautiful bay of Kaneohe . The staff was amazing , they knew exactly how to welcome first timers , the food was so delicious, I’m not a hamburger dude but this hamburger was so delicious, it was served with my favorite pork and beans , great meal to hold you off through the tour .

I participated in the event in Hawaii for four days, and unfortunately, it was raining heavily that day, so I thought it might be canceled. However, by the time we were supposed to start, the rain had stopped, which was great. But during the trail, it started raining again, and I had to wear a raincoat to climb.

I'm not good at climbing, so I walked slowly, and I felt both grateful and sorry that everyone was waiting for me. However, I managed to reach the summit, and it was very fulfilling. I think it's more enjoyable to climb with a guide who explains various things along the way rather than just climbing.

On the way back down, I think having a walking stick would make it safer. For lunch, we were provided with very delicious sandwiches, and we also got to visit Tantalus, which is not easy to access on your own. It was a very fulfilling half-day. Thank you very much.

ハワイ4日に参加したのですが、運悪くその日は雨が凄く降っていてもう中止になるかと思いきや、参加の時間頃には雨も止み良かったと思いましたが、トレイル中にまた雨が降ってきてレインコートを来て登りました。
私は登りが苦手なのでゆっくり歩いていましたが皆さん待っていてくれてありがたいのと申し訳ないでいっぱいでしたが、何とか頂上まで登りきることが出来てとても達成感がありました。ただ登るより色んなことを説明してもらいながらガイドさんと登るほうが楽しいと思います。
帰りは坂の下りなのでステッキがあったほうが危なくないと思います。
ランチはとても美味しいサンドイッチを用意してもらい中々自分では行けないタンタラスの丘にも行けてとても充実した半日でした。
