Since my wife and daughter had no experience with snorkeling and weren't strong swimmers, we decided to hire a guide. It turned out to be a great decision. The guide carefully explained the precautions and techniques, and took great care of my daughter and wife, which made me feel at ease. I definitely think that having a guide is essential for beginners.

Also, I believe it's better to wear a wetsuit for various reasons. It reduces the risk of injury from coral and helps with buoyancy. I am truly grateful to our guide for this experience.

The sixth-grade boy was very satisfied. As others have mentioned, I didn't have high expectations for the BBQ. I thought we would be grilling and eating raw meat, which would have been disappointing. However, the meat (beef and chicken) was delicious.

On the day of our visit, it seemed like there were about 200 to 300 local elementary school students on a field trip, so the wait times were long. We couldn't go on all the slides, but the kids were very happy.

We had a nearly private lesson for bodyboarding in the wave pool, but since the waves weren't as high as those in the ocean, I think experienced boarders might find it lacking. However, the kids were thrilled.

We couldn't take advantage of the free Wi-Fi because we booked just a few days before our departure date. I recommend making reservations early.

ボディーボードにレッスンはほぼ貸し切り状態になっての波のプールでボディーボードをしましたが実際に海でやるような高い波ではないので一回でもされている経験者からしたら物足りないと思いますが子供達は大喜びでした。
無料特典のWi-Fiは予約した日が出発日の数日前だった為に受けられませんでした。予約するのは早めにすることをお勧めします。

Last year, I went to the sandbar, and this year, the timing of the low tide didn't match, so the water level was about waist-deep. There's nothing we can do about nature. At the sandbar, I had a great time playing beach volleyball with people from overseas and had a female guide take professional-level photos of me! Also, during the turtle watching, we saw turtles swimming gracefully, and the kids were overjoyed!!

After enjoying delicious hamburgers, we went snorkeling. Although the visibility was a bit poor, I was healed by the colorful fish that ate food from my hand!

The captain, the guide, and the crew were all very kind, making it a truly enjoyable tour! I will definitely come back!

The car that was supposed to pick us up was over 20 minutes late, which made me very anxious thinking we might be left behind...

Parasailing itself was incredibly fun! There wasn't anyone who spoke Japanese, but the guide made an effort to communicate, and despite not understanding everything, we had a great time.
If you're planning to do this, it's best to wear something that you can easily take off since there are no changing facilities. You'll need to change on the boat!
Also, if you're prone to motion sickness, I recommend taking some medication beforehand. We saw about five groups, including ourselves, doing parasailing, so it can be quite intense.

迎えに来てくれる車が20分以上遅れてきたのが置いてかれたのかと思い大変不安に思いました…

パラセイリング自体はものすごく楽しかったです！日本語が話せる方がいなかったのですが、ガイドさんが頑張って話しかけてくれたりしてわからないながらに楽しく出来ました。
これからやる方がいれば、着替える場所がないのですぐ脱げるものを着ていった方がいいです。船の上での着替えになります！
そして、車酔い船酔い不安な方は酔い止め飲んでおいた方がいいかと思います。自分達を含め5組ぐらいパラセイリングをやってるのを見るので結構しんどいです。

I was incredibly satisfied to encounter two seals and a sea turtle! Even as a beginner, I felt at ease swimming because they taught me how to use the snorkel. I appreciated that they checked in on me during the trip to see if I was okay. It was also great that they took photos before entering the water and underwater.

I participated with my father and son. All three of us were filled with anxiety as it was our first time snorkeling. In the end, we felt that we couldn't have done it without the guide! We didn't even know how to put on the wetsuits, and once we got into the water, we struggled to put on our fins due to the waves and ended up stumbling a lot. During those times, we received help multiple times. Especially my father, who is 70 years old, needed support in some areas. He also mentioned that he couldn't have done it without the guide! It's expensive, but I signed up for a plan that includes transportation. There are pizzas and hamburgers available on-site for about $10. I had those, and they were sufficient. There are a lot of slides, and I rode them all! It was so much fun!

I noticed that while some slides were empty just a moment ago, they suddenly had long lines, while others that were crowded earlier became available. I think it's a good idea to ride the ones that are less crowded. The big slide has both four-person and two-person floats, and I believe the green one is for two people.

If you just stand in line, everyone is waiting for the yellow four-person float, so two-person groups can get the green float by skipping ahead a bit. This way, your turn will come up quickly. There was no guidance, so I ended up standing in line.

It was great because I could play without it being too crowded! The showers are cold water. Please be careful as the lockers are small.

On July 12, I participated with my 6th-grade daughter. The pickup was smooth, and since we arrived early, we waited about 20 minutes at the entrance. Waiting in the blazing summer sun without any shade was quite tough. After checking our bags, we entered. We were allowed to bring one unopened plastic bottle per person.

We used a smaller locker. I had heard that only cards could be used, but it turned out that cash was accepted for $13. I had a waterproof cover for my phone hanging around my neck, along with a card and about $50 in cash, so I might not have needed to rent a locker for just a towel and a change of clothes. There were plenty of chairs, so everyone left their belongings and went off to play.

Since we only had a plan for pickup and entrance fees, we bought a hamburger and fries set for about $10 for lunch. I wasn't expecting much, but it was really delicious! It was around 12:30, and we didn't have to wait long to buy it.

The attractions require you to carry your own float and climb quite a steep slope and stairs to slide down, which is pretty tiring, but it was a lot of fun and something you can't find in Japan. It was bustling with local kids during summer vacation.

The stairs and slopes were hot on bare feet, but beach sandals tended to slip off when sliding down, so marine shoes might have been a better choice.

ロッカーは小さい方を使用。カードしか使えないと聞いていたのですが13ドル現金使用でした。私は携帯の防水カバーを首から下げてカード1枚と現金を50ドルほど入れていたのでタオルと着替えだけならロッカー借りなくても良かったかも。椅子がたくさんあるのでみんな荷物置いて遊びに行っていました。
ピックアップと入場料のみのプランだったのでランチは10ドルくらいのハンバーガーとポテトのセットを購入。期待していなかったけどとても美味しかったです^_^12時半くらいでしたがそんなに待たずに買えました。
アトラクションは自分で浮き輪を抱えてかなりの坂道と階段を上がって滑り降りる仕組みになっているのでかなり疲れますが日本にはない
アトラクションでとても楽しかったです♪
夏休みで地元の子供達で賑わってました。
裸足だと階段や坂道あがるのに熱いですがビーチサンダルは滑り降りるときに脱げてしまうのでマリンシューズだとよかったかも。

It was a 120m experience with my 11-year-old daughter. The captain was very friendly, and my daughter, who was a bit nervous, really enjoyed it. Although the weather was cloudy and not great, the view of Waikiki from high up was truly refreshing. I want to try the 150m experience next time! The $30 SD card had a lot of photos on it, which will be great memories. I gave the captain a tip when we got off the boat.

You can choose reservations in 30-minute increments, but if you're making a breakfast reservation, be aware that if it's too early, the hotel will be located a bit closer to Ala Moana Center rather than the center of Honolulu (next to the Hilton Hotel where the fireworks are held). Depending on where you're staying, you might have a hard time getting there without transportation. We made our reservation for 7 AM, so we took the bus to get close.

When you arrive at the hotel, please take the escalator to the restaurant instead of the elevator, as the elevator only serves guest rooms and does not stop at the restaurant.

The food includes Japanese dishes like miso soup, natto, and white rice, but it's definitely better to try the local offerings. The omelets and pancakes cooked on-site, along with fresh fruit and Hawaiian coffee, are much tastier! It was nice to eat slowly while looking at the harbor.

I participated in the premium Japanese guided tour from 10 AM with my 2-year-old child.

I had assumed the guide would be Japanese, but it turned out to be Jim, a tall Westerner who had previously lived in Japan and spoke very fluent Japanese. He was a gentleman with a kind personality, attentive to details, and very friendly towards children.

I joined this tour because I wanted to show my child the underwater world, so I didn't have high expectations for the tour itself based on the reviews. However, it was fun to see artificial reefs and sea turtles up close. I believe this was largely thanks to Jim's detailed explanations. As a licensed scuba diver, Jim had impressive knowledge, and his explanations were very thorough and enjoyable!

When I visit Hawaii next time, I definitely want to join this tour again, specifically hoping to have Jim as our guide. Thank you, Jim!

If you want to enjoy Jim's explanations on this tour, I recommend going down the stairs from the entrance on the right side when boarding the submarine to sit in the front row. You can also see the control seat and sit close to the guide, which is a great option!

てっきり日本人ガイドかと思いきや、ジムさんという長身の欧米人で、以前に日本に住まわれていた、とても上手な日本語を話される方でした。お人柄も紳士的で、細やかな気遣いをされる、子どもにも優しいとても素敵な方でした。

今回、子どもに海の中を見せてあげたく参加したので、口コミを見てツアー自体にはあまり期待はしていなかったのてすが、人工魚礁やウミガメを間近で見られて楽しかったです。それもやはりガイドのジムさんの細やかな解説のお陰かと思います。ジムさんはスキューバダイビングのライセンス保有者なので流石の知識量で、解説がとても細やかで楽しかったです！
　
次にハワイを訪れる際も、またこちらのツアーを是非ジムさん目当てで参加させて頂きたいと思います。ジムさん、ありがとうございました。

もし、このツアーでジムさんの解説を楽しみたいのであれば、潜水艦に乗り込むときに向かって右の入り口から階段を降りると先頭の席に座れます。操縦席も見られ、ガイドさんの近くに座れるのでオススメですよ☆

We consulted with our guide, Mieko, about wanting to visit Kailua Town, and she gave us advice that allowed us to add bike rentals and extend our trip to Lanikai Beach and Kailua Town. Lanikai Beach has beautiful sand and clear water, and it was also less crowded, allowing us to relax. I'm glad we chose this course instead of the half-day option. There wasn't a single unnecessary item for enjoying the beach; everything was well thought out. The pizza for lunch was exquisite! The crust was perfectly baked, and we were amazed by its size, but we finished it all.

カイルアタウンも行きたいとガイドのみえこさんに相談し、アドバイスいただき、レンタサイクルを追加してでラニカイビーチ、カイルアタウンまで足を延ばすことができました。
ラニカイビーチは砂浜、海の綺麗さ素晴らしいです。また、人も少なくのんびりできました。半日コースではなくこちらのコースにしてよかったです。
ビーチアイテムも楽しむのに無駄なものは一つもなく、よく考えられているなと思いました。ランチもピザが絶品！生地がパリっと焼き上げられ大きいさに驚きながらも食べつくしました。

This tour is greatly enjoyed by my third-grade child. We booked the submarine tour here for the second time, following last year. The deciding factor was that they offered late boarding times. In Hawaii, there are plenty of activities, allowing you to schedule various tours in one day. On this day, we had a packed itinerary, enjoying snorkeling at Hanauma Bay after climbing Diamond Head for sunrise, followed by the submarine tour. As far as I searched, the only option for a 3 PM boarding reservation (confirmed the next day after the request) was through VELTRA, which allowed us to have a fulfilling day. The issuance of the reservation confirmation and the transportation service are comparable to other companies, so I highly recommend it. There is a Japanese audio guide available on board, so there’s no need to worry.

Just before leaving for our trip to Hawaii, my child suddenly expressed a desire to go parasailing! Since time was tight and I was unsure about being tied up for more than half a day, I decided to choose a nearby tour that seemed to have a good reputation.

I hurriedly made a reservation before our departure, but thanks to the detailed communication and arrangements from the staff, we were able to have a wonderful experience within our desired time and budget.

On the day of the tour, we walked to the tour company's ticket booth before the meeting time (it was a hotel we could walk to), handed over the documents, signed the consent form, and off we went on the boat to the sea. I think the ride lasted just over 10 minutes, but seeing Hawaii from above was an experience beyond my imagination.

The captain made the harness fitting process enjoyable with jokes, which made me feel at ease. Since the sun was quite strong that day, sunscreen is definitely a must depending on the weather. Also, the boat swayed quite a bit, so taking motion sickness medication beforehand would be a good idea.

The captain was full of humor, and the hour flew by from departure to return. If I have the opportunity next time, I would love to experience it again.

ハーネスの着用も船長がジョークを交えながら行ってくれて安心でした。
当日は日射しも強かったので、日焼け止めは天候によっては必需品かと思います。それと船で結構ゆらゆらと揺れるので酔い止めは飲んでおいた方が安心かと思います。
船長もユーモアたっぷりで、出港から帰港まであっという間の１時間でした。
次回も機会があれば、又体験したいと思います。

Even so, everyone seemed to be having a great time playing beach volleyball, practicing snorkeling, and relaxing on the boat! I had never tried snorkeling before, but I enjoyed it very much! The staff included a Japanese person who alternated between English and Japanese, which was reassuring. The hamburgers we had on the boat were also delicious!
