I found the hotel pool a bit lacking, so I decided to check this one out, and I was very satisfied. My child is small, so we couldn't use the water slides, but it looked like a lot of fun and was really crowded. I definitely plan to try it next time. The wave pool was quite intense; even adults could easily find themselves in trouble if they weren't careful. We rented a cabana, and although it was pricey, it provided a place to store our belongings and relax comfortably. However, the rental float that came with it was quickly used by others, so you need to be cautious about that.

We requested private lessons for our son (11 years old), father (49 years old), and mother (43 years old). Our son had the pleasure of attending twice during our stay.

It was the first time for our entire family to try surfing. Once we entered the ocean, each of us had a one-on-one lesson with an instructor. At first, we were filled with anxiety: Would we understand what the instructor was saying? Could we stand up? Is it really okay to come this far out? However, all those worries disappeared after the very first attempt! Although we struggled to stand up and fell quite a bit, the instructor was incredibly kind! No matter how many times we failed, he encouraged us with praise.

He spoke some Japanese, so there was never a moment where we felt lost in understanding. When he taught us the timing to catch the waves, the board started moving at high speed, and I panicked, unable to do what I had learned, which resulted in more falls. I felt sorry for not being able to do it well despite his earnest teaching, but each time, he patiently reminded me to "Relax! Remember how to do it!" Following his instructions, I was finally able to stand up! It was an indescribably amazing feeling!

Our son progressed much faster than us and was having so much fun that he was completely hooked! So, we decided to request another lesson for him the day before our return (the parents refrained due to budget and stamina). I was also happy that the receptionist was a Japanese woman, and we were able to chat a lot.

The instructor for this lesson was different from the last, but he was also wonderful, and we had a fantastic time. The photos taken with the instructor are treasures for our son.

If we had plenty of money and time, we would love to stay at the Park Shore Hotel where the school is located and attend lessons every day during our stay in Hawaii!

息子は親達よりもはるかに上達が早く、楽しくて仕方がない‼︎と、どハマりでした。ならば‼︎と帰国前日に息子のみもう一度レッスンをお願いしました。(親達は予算と体力の都合上自粛) この日は受付が日本人女性でたくさんお話しができたのも嬉しかったです。
レッスンは前回と違う先生でしたが、またとてもステキな先生でとても素晴らしい時間を過ごさせていただきました。先生と撮った写真が息子の宝物です。
お金も時間もたくさんあるならスクールの入っているパークショアホテルに宿泊して毎日レッスンに通うハワイ滞在を過ごしてみたいと話しています(๑>◡<๑)

The only bummer was that our tour guides were very sassy. At times it was hard to tell if they were laughing with us OR at us.

We participated as a family of four. I had read in other people's experiences that the air conditioning on the bus was quite strong, so I brought a jacket. On the way there, many people were wearing their own towels. They asked if we wanted to take photos for $30, but we decided to have a couple of newlyweds from the same tour take pictures with their iPhone, so we didn't get the photos.

Since it was an iPhone, our faces weren't captured clearly, but they were able to take videos as well, which was nice. If you want clear photos of your face, I think it's a good idea to ask the staff to take pictures with a DSLR camera.

The sandbar seemed to stretch quite a long way, but perhaps the tour companies stop at different places to disembark. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views of the blue sky, the sea, and the surrounding mountains. I also saw sea turtles and mantas, but overall, I feel it might be more geared towards younger people.

Regarding snorkeling, we all swam in a line along a predetermined route, so I was too focused on keeping up with everyone to really enjoy the underwater experience... (We had a group with both strong and weak swimmers, including children.)

We gave up on having lunch and decided to slide down as many slides as possible. The bus instructions for going and returning were very clear and reassuring.

Paradise Cove Luau on the Beach at Ko Olina Resort

The overall experience was a little cheesy...For the good news--I give 5 stars for the dancing during the main hula show--the dance crew were truly amazing and very athletic! The food was tasty but the overall presentation reminded me of the buffet line at a high school cafeteria. And there was no coconut cake which was very disappointing! The M.C. For the entertainment was straight off the Love Boat...he made me chuckle but not in a good way! The pre dinner activities went on for way too long, and I felt like I was in a cattle line being herded from one presentation to another. I would have liked to come just for the dinner and show, but then you risk being assigned a bad seat as it was first-come-first-seated. The property was gorgeous with spectacular views of the sunset. Maybe if this was my first luau I would have enjoyed it more, but I left feeling kind of...meh...

The morning pickup was not at the bus stop I specified when I made the reservation, but at a distant bus stop. The bus stop was right in front of the hotel I stayed at, yet I waited at the designated bus stop on foot. However, when the meeting time came, my name was not called, and feeling anxious, I asked someone nearby, who said, "This is it." When I mentioned my name, they checked the confirmation and made a phone call. It seems there was a mistake on their part, and the guide told me, "The bus stop is different, but get on this bus," so I was able to go. But I can't help but feel frustrated thinking that if I hadn't asked, I might have been left behind. There was nothing indicating "Veltour" on the bus or the guide, making it very confusing. It was incredibly cloudy and extremely cold... I participated on a day that was so cold, I couldn't believe it was Hawaii. The scenery was also disappointing due to the clouds, and the sandbar had water levels only up to my knees, which was a big failure. It was so cold that I didn't participate in snorkeling and waited on the boat instead. I think if you're going to the sandbar, you should definitely choose the right season to go.

The staff were very cheerful and tried their best to lift the mood; they were kind and pleasant. If I ever go again for a revenge trip, I would choose this tour.

とにかく曇っていて滅茶苦茶寒かった。。。
ハワイでこんなに寒いことってあるのか・・・というくらい寒い日に参加してしまいました。
そして、曇っていた分、景色もイマイチで、肝心のサンドバーも膝上くらいまでの水位だったので、大失敗でした。
あまりに寒いので、シュノーケリングには参加せず、船で待機させて頂きました。
サンドバーに行くなら、やはりちゃんと時期を選んで行くべきだと思いました。

スタッフの方達は、とても明るく、何とか盛り上げようとしてくれて、親切で感じが良かったですし、いつかまたリベンジで行くならば、このツアーを選びます。

I had been curious about Keana Farms every time I went to Hawaii. This time, with my husband's enthusiastic "Let's do it!" I made a big decision and booked it on my phone. We tried it as a family of three, and after just a brief explanation from a staff member who spoke a little Japanese, we started right away. There was no time to hesitate, and before we knew it, we were enjoying the experience in the air. We created fun memories filled with amusing episodes, like dropping the camera and needing help from the staff because we couldn't find the red string we were supposed to grab at the finish line. I'm a grandmother who is terrible at sports, usually skips amusement park attractions, has a fear of heights, and doesn't speak English, yet I still had a great time! I would love to do it again if the price were a bit lower! By the way, the camera was returned to the reception. Thank you!

ハワイへ行くたび気になっていたケアナファーム。今回は夫の、やろう！の一言で一大決心し、携帯で予約。娘と3人でトライしました。ちょっとだけ日本語ができるお姉さんの、超簡単な説明を聞いただけですぐにスタートし、躊躇う暇もなく、あれよあれよと言ううちに空中を楽しんでいた私たちです。カメラを落とすとか、ラインのゴールで掴むはずの赤いヒモがわからずスタッフに助けられるとか、面白エピソードつきの楽しい思い出ができました。スポーツまるでダメ、遊園地ののアトラクションもほぼパスの還暦ばあちゃん、しかも高所恐怖症、英語もできない、そんな私でも楽しめました！ もう少し値段が安ければまたやりたい！

We participated with our family of three and our sixth-grade child.

As a beginner in snorkeling, I was a bit anxious, but I was taught carefully from the basics, and I was able to enjoy snorkeling very much. Swimming close to the fish in Hanauma Bay felt like I had become one of them. Unfortunately, we couldn't see any turtles, but Fumio-san searched hard for them, and I am very grateful for that.

I'm really glad we participated. I plan to join again the next time we go to Hawaii♪

If you're going to snorkel in Hanauma Bay, I absolutely recommend this tour!

シュノーケル初心者だったので少し不安でしたが、丁寧に1から教えてもらえて、とっても楽しんでシュノーケルすることができました。
ハナウマベイの魚と間近で泳げて、魚になったみたいでした。
亀は残念ながら見ることが出来ませんでしたが、フミオさんが一生懸命探してくれて、とっても感謝してます。

ほんとに参加してよかったです。
次回ハワイに行った時も、また参加させてもらおうと思います♪
