We arrived within an hour by bus. A Japanese person gave the initial explanation, and we started the buggy ride after about 30 minutes. The rest was all in English, so I didn't understand much, but they seemed to be talking about the spots or the names of the mountains. I felt there was quite a distance to the next spot. I didn't have much time to look at souvenirs because of my reservation, so those considering souvenirs might find the time insufficient. There are package tickets that include official shuttle bus service, or you can add shuttle service as an option, but it costs about 5,000 yen per person. It's also possible to take a bus transfer, but it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, so I can't recommend that. When I checked Uber from Waikiki at 9:40, it was $31 one way, so I definitely recommend going by Uber!

I arrived in time for the 10:30 opening and entered. There are few changing rooms, so I think it's better to wear your swimsuit from the hotel. You can store your belongings in lockers. The large locker costs $22, and the small locker costs $18. It was more expensive than I had researched beforehand. Even the small locker was large enough to hold clothes and valuables for two people.

I got used to the wave pool and was ready to go to the slides, but I was surprised to find that many of the slides were out of service. On that day, popular slides like the Waianae Coaster, Shaka, and Ohana Highway were all closed, and the lazy river was also not in operation.

Since there was no choice, I went to the end of the line for the slides that were operating, but the staff told me that this slide would also be closed, so I had to go somewhere else. 波のプールで身体を慣らし、いざスライダーへと思いましたが、びっくりすることに運休のスライダーが多いことに気づきました。
この日はワイアエナコースター、シャカ、オハナハイウェイなど魅力的な人気スライダーが軒並み運休、加えて流れるプールも稼働していませんでした。

仕方ないので、動いてるスライダーに並ぼうと列の最後尾に行くと、このスライダーは運休になるから別に行ってくれと係員から言われました。まだ開園から1時間経ってないのに、、スタッフが少ないようでなんと稼働してるアトラクションすらローテーションで回しているのです。そのせいで動いてるスライダーに人が集中して、滑べるまで1時間待ったものもありました。

またこの日は閉園時間が早く15時。
4時間半しかないのに1時間も待たされ、結局、全然スライダーを楽しめませんでした。
スライダー自体はすごく楽しいですが、ほぼ一日使ってしまうので日数のある旅行の方にオススメです。
帰りもUberがすぐ来る場で40ドルで帰れました。

This was our 4th trip to Oahu and we had did another luau the previous trip and decided to try out paradise cove. With mixed reviews we were unsure what to expect. But wow!! Once we arrived we already loved it. So many activities to enjoy and the drinks were great! We sat in the middle towards the back due to us having a stroller but it was perfect for us. The food was good, lots of variety. The sunset was absolutely perfect that day. I would definitely love to go back and do this again!

It was very large in scale, and it felt great to see both the ocean and the green mountains. There were several spots where we could stop to take photos and switch drivers. When we arrived at Kualoa Ranch, there was a Japanese staff member who explained everything very politely, so we could enjoy ourselves without any worries. I was a bit concerned after reading reviews about long wait times, but I didn't feel that way at all. After the activities, we had some time to enjoy a meal as well. However, it was crowded and took a while, so I recommend going early after the activities. It was such a wonderful experience that I would love to participate again if I go to Hawaii next time.
