I participated with my husband, who has a fear of heights. It wasn't scary at all, and we had a great time! We arrived right on time for the meeting, but as soon as we got there, we hurried to sign in and boarded the boat. It seems we took the previous ferry. We were the only Japanese people, making a total of 10 participants. We were able to place our luggage at our feet. I brought a bath towel, but in the end, I didn't use it. We got off the bus at the Hilton and walked to the meeting point, but we got a bit lost on the way, so I think it's better to allow some extra time.

Since there were no reviews on this site, I looked up other sites (which also had mostly English posts), and I really wanted to try Sunset SUP and paddle in both the river and the ocean, so I decided to join this tour.
In conclusion, it was definitely the right choice to participate!
At the beginning of September, the sunset is around 18:30 to 19:00, so we started at 16:30. We departed from the ocean and entered the connected river. Just before we started, it rained for a moment, and while paddling, we were able to see a rainbow.
We were the only ones doing SUP, and paddling through the quiet and calm river surrounded by trees was a blissful experience. We even encountered a sea turtle. After paddling a long distance down the river and turning back to return to the ocean, the sun was beginning to set, and we leisurely watched the sunset there. Although we finished SUP before it got dark, we returned to the beach and watched the sunset before leaving the North Shore.
The guide couldn't speak Japanese, so we communicated in English, and despite my limited English skills, I managed to communicate and had a great time. Also, since I was worried about whether there would be Uber or buses, I included it in a private tour. I highly recommend participating!

9月頭だと日没が18:30~19:00頃なので16:30にスタート。海を出発し、繋がっている川に入っていきます。直前に一瞬雨が降ったこともあり、漕ぎながら虹を見ることができました。
SUPをしている人は私たちしかおらず静かで穏やかな川を漕ぐのですが、木々に囲まれた川をゆったりと進むのは至福の時でした。ウミガメにも遭遇できました。長い距離川を漕ぎ、折り返してまた海に戻ってくると日が沈みかけており、そこで日没をゆったりと眺めました。暗くなる前にSUPは終了しましたが、ビーチに戻って日が暮れるのを見てノースショアを後にしました。
ガイドさんは日本語が話せず英語での会話をしましたが拙い英語力でもなんとかコミュニケーションをとって楽しい一時を過ごせました。また、今回はUberやバスがあるか不安だったので個人ツアーの中に組み込みました。是非参加することをお勧めします！

Since my daughter is small, we didn't meet the weight requirement with other companies, but we were able to participate in this tour as we met the minimum here. I had imagined being secured in something like a simple chair, but I was surprised that we were only supported by a thick belt. When you jump, there's no sense of speed, and occasionally the wind blows and sways, but it gives you a strange feeling of floating in the sky. My daughter was a little scared (not to the point of crying), but I think it was a good experience for her to muster up the courage to jump! We were the first of five groups to jump, and while the others were jumping, my daughter got motion sickness. I think it's a good idea for those who are prone to motion sickness to bring anti-nausea medication and a bag for emergencies.

The explanation was in English, so I couldn't understand what the instructor was saying. I was at the back, so there was a lot of dust. However, there was a delay because the car in front of me broke down suddenly, which caused us to take a shortcut on the course (as mentioned by a Japanese person who experienced it before). That was disappointing, and I was also let down because I requested the afternoon session, but the pickup was at 8 AM, and I had nothing to do until it started at 12 PM.

ただ、目の前の車が急な故障で止まって時間のロスがありコースをショートカットされてしまいました。（以前に体験した日本人が言っていた）それが残念⤵だったのと午後の部希望したのにピックアップが8時で到着してから始まる12時まで何もすることなくてがっかりでした。

One alcoholic ,one non alcoholic and they charged me same price for each…$10 a piece. I do not think a drink that only contained fruit juice and no alcohol should have been the same price.

The location is right next to Hilton Lagoon. We drove there with a rental car, but it's also within walking distance from Waikiki and Ala Moana. There were six of us participating, three men and three women, ranging from 19 to 80 years old. Once we gathered two more women from the mainland, we set sail with a total of eight people. I think the boat can hold about ten people comfortably. There was a captain and one assistant, who took photos throughout the trip. We didn't request it, but since my 80-year-old mother was with us, they let us fly together as a group of three instead of two. Even at the highest point, it wasn't too scary, and the view was amazing, so my mother enjoyed it without any worries. At one point, we splashed into the seawater, but perhaps out of consideration for the elderly, it was just our legs that got wet (laughs).

The photos taken on the boat were $40 for one SD card, but since everyone in the group was captured even when flying separately, I think it's a good deal. I believe it said that the tip was $20, but I wasn't sure, so we just gave the captain $20 as a group when we disembarked. I don't think the others tipped as they just got off the boat.

You will definitely get your lower half soaked, so I recommend wearing a swimsuit.

船上で撮った写真はSDカード1枚40ドルでしたが、別々に飛んでもグループ全員が写っているのでお得だと思います。
チップは20ドルって書いてあったみたいですがよく分からなかったので、一応下船時にキャプテンに私達1グループで20ドルだけ渡しました。他の方はそのまま下船したので渡していなかったと思います。
間違いなく下半身はガッツリ濡れるので水着がおすすめです。

My 7-year-old son got hooked on the Tornado and went down six times with breaks in between! Climbing back up after each slide wore us parents out, but we had so much fun since we didn't have to wait long.

My 10-year-old daughter mostly enjoyed the wave pool, and there were attractions for everyone to enjoy, which was great. I wasn't sure how crowded it would be, but we only had a day pass, and the food court wasn't crowded at all, so we didn't have any issues. The guide helped us with how to use the locker machines and pointed out the hidden free chair spots, which was really helpful. I thought we might run out of time, but I think the duration was just right for our energy levels.

The kids said they want to come back when we visit Hawaii again, so I definitely want to return!

I wanted to do something that I wouldn't normally do in Japan during my long-awaited trip to Hawaii, so I made a reservation. With not many activities available that parents can enjoy while having kids, I chose this one because it allows participation from age five.

The local staff were friendly, and the hour flew by in no time. The moment I actually took off was scary, but I was able to enjoy the amazing views of Oahu that can only be seen from the sky. I bought a waterproof phone case to take pictures, but I didn't have the luxury of doing that (laughs), so I used the photo service to get pictures of the three of us.

I also got to see other participants flying, which added to the attraction experience. My five-year-old son was called "Big Boy" by the staff, and it was a moment where he felt recognized, which I think contributed to his growth both physically and mentally.

I highly recommend it!

An experience you can't have in Japan!
It was more thrilling than I expected.
I can't speak English at all, but I was taught in a way that was easy to understand, so I had no problems.
However, it does get quite dirty...
I recommend participating in clothes that you can change into or that you don't mind getting dirty!
You can also enjoy stunning views, so I want to join a different activity next time!

I have a fear of heights, but my husband loves high places and speed. I wanted to see the happy face of my husband, so I decided to take the plunge and signed up for the 150m experience. The result was so much fun that I didn't want to come down from the sky. I was able to chat a bit with the other people on the boat (who happened to all be Japanese) and we became friends. The staff took photos for us (you can choose whether or not to take photos before flying) for $40, including the data. Since it's an angle you can't capture yourself, I recommend purchasing them.

Definitely recommend this activity!
I went with my mom, she does not know how to swim or is comfortable with the ocean, but somehow she managed to experience the sandbar and actually got in the water. This was a huge deal for her and it helped tide was low so she felt more comfortable.
Crew was amazing and engaged with all of us on tour! They helped those in need and made us all feel welcomed.
We would definitely book this tour again and bring our family with us next time!

Thank you guys! My mom wouldn’t stop talking about how much fun she had and how you guys made her feel safe despite her fear of water.

I prepared long pants and closed-toe shoes as they were required, but there were many people wearing sandals and shorts, and it seemed like no particular attention was paid to that.

Even though it was sunny in Waikiki, as we made our way to the sandbar, the clouds started to gather and it rained lightly at the end. When we arrived at the site by shuttle bus, we were divided into Japanese and others, and the Japanese staff explained the day's schedule to us. (I'm not sure if it was because there were many Japanese people or if this is always the case.)
We had free time until our buggy ride, during which we could eat lunch and take photos. (You can buy burgers and other food on-site.)

Since I tend to get car sick more than anyone else, I drove myself, but I recommend that shorter individuals have someone else drive. You can drive if you present a Japanese driver's license.

Several buggies moved along a bumpy road, providing an exciting experience that is hard to come by in Japan. The staff provided explanations during stops, but there were many things I didn’t understand, so I regret not studying more English to enjoy it even more. We wore bandana-like dust covers, but even so, we still got dust on our faces and bodies, so I recommend avoiding your favorite outfits. There are lockers available at the facility (I think it was around 1000 yen, and you could access them multiple times). After the buggy ride, you can wash your hands with water and soap, but the dust is hard to get off, so if you’re not going straight back to the hotel, it might be a good idea to bring an extra T-shirt.

　ガタガタした道を数台が連なって進んでいきます。日本ではなかなか経験できない、excitingな体験でした。途中下車を挟みながら、スタッフの方々が説明をしてくれます。わからない内容も多かったので、もう少し英語の勉強をしていけば、より楽しめたのになぁと後悔しています。バンダナのような埃除けをつけた状態で回るのですが、それでも顔や体に砂埃を被るので、お気に入りの服装は避けることをお勧めします。施設にはロッカーがあります（1000円くらいだった気がします。何度も出し入れ可能でした。）。バギー終了後に水道＋石鹸で手洗いできますが、砂埃はいかんせん落ちにくいので、ホテル直帰でなければTシャツなどを余分に持っていくとよいかもしれません。

　上記は全て旅の想い出になっているので、総合的には大満足です。円安の影響で、昔と比べて倍以上にはなっていましたが・・・（泣）
