We were not lucky enough to spot a whale on our first attempt, although we were graced with the company of a large pod of Spinner Dolphins swimming very close to the ship.

Two days later, having taken advantage of the free raincheck ticket, we saw four adult Humpback Whales and a calf. There are no words to adequately describe the experience - just go and do it. The Star of Honolulu is crewed by very knowledgeable staff and the onboard facilities and entertainmen are first-rate.

I rode a submarine for the first time. At first, I wasn't very enthusiastic about it, but once I got on, I surprisingly felt like a kid again, even as an adult. There were six of us participating, and just like others mentioned, none of us experienced seasickness, allowing us to enjoy the underwater world. I didn't expect that such a large submarine would have fish coming so close to us, so it was a very valuable experience. However, since we went straight to this optional activity after arriving in Hawaii, everyone ended up falling asleep towards the end. Next time, I want to participate with more leisure.

We participated as a family of five, with two parents and children aged 12, 10, and 8. Since it was our second time, we were somewhat familiar with the place, and the kids were looking forward to the wave pool. The scale of the waves is definitely different from Japan, and even adults can enjoy them. This time, we challenged the attraction called Shaka, which was under construction during our last visit, where you drop straight down on a tube, with my eldest son. Everyone else in the family was too scared to join, but I convinced my son by saying it was an experience you can only have in Hawaii. It was a ride that made us scream after a long time. It’s definitely a thrill that you can't experience in Japan. The short wait times for all the attractions are great. Since we only had about four hours to play there, I think a little more time would be nice. There is a jacuzzi for adults when it gets a bit cold, but there’s no way for the kids to avoid the cold, so having a warm shower or a kids' jacuzzi would be perfect. I will participate again when I go back to Hawaii.

I went out to play with my 3-year-old and 5-year-old children. The pickup time was around 9 AM, which was just right, and we were able to enter the park as soon as we arrived. Since the kids are small, there were height restrictions on slides and such, but they had a great time enjoying everything they were able to ride. There were slides and play equipment in the children's pool as well, and even though our meeting time to leave was at 2:45 PM, they played without eating lunch. Since drinks were free, we took about three drink breaks, but otherwise, they just kept playing.

On the bus ride back, the kids were sound asleep. We arrived at the hotel by 4 PM, so we were able to keep to our schedule, and since the kids were sleeping on the bus, we had a comfortable time! We took advantage of the kids' free campaign, so we essentially went for the price of two adults, which was a great deal! I definitely want to go again the next time we visit Hawaii.

子供無料のキャンペーンを利用させていただいたので、実質大人２人分の料金で行けたのでかなりお得です！次回もハワイに行った時は是非是非行きたいと思います。

It is unfortunate that sharks have gotten the label of being mindless eating machines that attack anything that twitches in the water. I was able to experience first hand just how wrong this stereotype actually is.

The moment we arrived, sharks began to make there way to us. The regulars, the Sandbar Sharks, are attracted to the sound of the boat engine and quickly swam up to say hi!, but then an unexpected visitor decided to drop by. My jaw literally dropped when I saw a HUGE tiger shark circling the boat. Then another came by...then ANOTHER! We were lucky since Tiger Sharks are fairly rare.

As the first four made there way into the shark cage, the remaining four, including me, waited on board and watched the sharks from the surface. These creatures just circled the cage and boat and at times a Tiger Shark would pop his head out of the water to munch on some fish. This shark could have easily bitten the crew member, but all he (she?) did was nibble and go.

I often come to Hawaii and have been on pretty much every dinner cruise on almost every island. The Star of Honolulu is a vessel that I often frequent when I am here in the islands since it has always provided my husband and I with a wonderful evening. The Pacific Star has become our new favorite with its initimate lounge setting, quiet atmosphere, delicious Pacific Rim cuisine and a chocolate fondue-like dessert that is to tasty for words. I personally do not like the loud and rowdy hula shows, so the Pacific Star is definitely my cruise of choice!

My friends and I have experienced the beautiful Star of Honolulu dinner cruise and it was the most memorable event ever. To begin the night was a graceful performance of the hula performers who greeted us aboard. We enjoyed songs of a live band and our favorite cocktails as we were seated to our table. The interior of the boat was elegantly decorated with special lighting and table settings, perfect for setting the mood of any occasion. As the large boat cruised smoothly through the waters of Oahu, my friends and I were able to capture beautiful photos together on the observation deck. With the sea surrounding us, we watched the beautiful sunset. Our dinner was immediately brought to our table with excellent service. We had an excellent steak and all you can eat crab dinner course. I took my kids on the Star of Honolulu Hawaiian Cultural Cruise and we had a great time together and we were greeted with the warmest of Aloha. We were served our drinks as the boat departed and then the different activities began. My kids and I enjoyed making flower leis as we watched the other visitors learn how to dance the Hula. On the other end, there were ukulele lessons going on and behind us was a session of coconut leaf weaving. The crew members gathered us all together and we all went out on the deck to feed all these fishes that were swimming in large clumps near the boat.

Later, my kids and I were assisted by a very helpful server with our food at the buffet line. After we ate lunch, we enjoyed the beautiful panoramic scenery from the top deck of the Star and laid back on the lounge chairs enjoying the warmth of the sun. It was a great day and my kids loved it.

If you are the outdoorsy type or just want to see and experience nature while you are in Hawaii, then I TOTALLY recommend doing this tour. You get do see so much of the beauty of the island in just one day. The hike is perfect; it is not too strenuous, the views are amazing and the waterfall at the end was a picture perfect point too! On the way back from the waterfall, our awesome guide took us through a bamboo forest as well (very Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon). Afterwards, we went on a great bike ride down a mountain road and then a great picnic lunch at the end at this cute little park. Snorkeling was the perfect ending to a fun-filled day!

They took us to a great snorkeling spot off of Electric Beach, the captain took us to see a pod of dolphins too!

After a quick safety briefing, we headed out from Ko Olina into the cerulean waters of the Pacific with nothing but a sunny cloudless sky above us. I immediately made my way to the bow of the boat so I could have a totally unobstructed view of the western coast of Oahu and the feeling of the ocean mist as it sprayed on us felt divine!

Soon after we hit the open water, the captain informed us that a pod of Hawaiian spinner had been spotted a little ways up the coast, so before we went snorkeling, our we all got to see these dolphins in action.

Spinner dolphins are actually nocturnal creatures, so they go out into deeper waters during the evening to hunt and eat, and then they come back into the shallower coastal waters during the day to relax. I participated with my mother. I chose this experience because I wanted to show her the beauty of the ocean in Hawaii, even though she is not good at swimming. I was worried about the boat ride from the shore to the submarine since I am not good with boats, but I was able to move to the deck twice along the way, so I didn't get seasick. The submarine itself was stable and reassuring.

However, I was a bit disappointed that there were fewer fish than I expected. But it was worth it because my mother was happy.

I had been to Hawaii several times before, but this was my first time signing up for Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park. My children, aged 7 and 9, were thrilled and had a great time. I was concerned about the height restrictions for my 7-year-old son, but he was able to experience most of the attractions, which was great. Perhaps because it was Golden Week, there were more participants than I expected, and we were transported by a large bus. It was also reassuring that they could accommodate in Japanese.

Our favorite was the big waves at Hurricane Bay. My child and I had a blast getting swept up in the waves. It was a huge wave experience like nothing we've ever had before, and we really enjoyed it.
The slide that you ride on an inflatable ring was also incredibly fun. Especially the Waianae Coaster, which goes through the dark, made us scream naturally! You definitely have to try it at least once.
The ARAN1 service, where kids are free, was fantastic. Knowing about this service allowed us to have a fun time at a great price! We were really lucky!
It was so much fun that we didn't want to leave. My child and I are talking about wanting to go again.
We encountered some trouble when we got caught in a traffic accident on the way there, but I think they handled it appropriately by changing our return time.
Even though we faced some trouble, both my child and I want to visit again when we go to Hawaii.

Wow, wow and wow!!!! This was a truely amazing experience. To be that close to sharks in the water, to look them in the eye and feel their distain...... what a feeling. For anyone thinking of doing this trip, I seriously recommend doing the 7am dive, especially if you're going while the Tradewinds are still blowing. It was a little rough when we were out there and it would have been much worse later in the day. Also, if you've never snorkelled before, buy yourself a mask and practice for a couple of days beforehand, its not at easy as it looks. You'll get much more out of it if you know what you're doing with your mask and snorkel.

It was great to see several whales. However, they were too far away. I had high expectations of being able to see the whole whale. Also, the boat, despite being large, swayed quite a bit. The food was delicious, but eating while swaying was a bit challenging... We took motion sickness medication, so we were fine, but quite a few people looked like they were feeling unwell...

The pools in Hawaii are simple, making them perfect for those who love to play in the water. Additionally, the Shaka and FlowRider are attractions that you probably can't experience in Japan. Even those who lack confidence can have a great time just watching, but our 9-year-old daughter tried it and was thrilled. The wave pool is incredible; it feels like the fun just goes on forever. There wasn't much waiting time, so even though the meeting time was early, we were able to fully enjoy ourselves.

I went last week. This was my second time, but since I went by rental car last time, it was easier and smoother this time with a tour, and we arrived on time. I felt like we got a bit of a bonus because we were allowed to enter the park first. With three kids, it was great that everyone could play in different areas, with the younger one in the toddler pool and the older ones in the wave pool. Additionally, I was satisfied because the wave pool had waves with a force that you don't find in Japanese pools.

This time, one child was free for each adult, so it was more economical than using a rental car.

My eldest son's comment: The various slides and the wave pool were great.

My daughter's comment: The lazy river and the wave pool were great.

It seems like we'll be coming here every time we visit Hawaii.

We participated as a family of four, with two parents and two children (a third grader and a kindergartener). We were picked up by a large bus, and after arriving at the location, we had about four hours of free time. It felt a bit short. We chose a package without lunch. The kids forgot to eat lunch while playing, so I think that was the right choice. The $8 combination plate (beef, chicken, corn, rice) sold at the shop next to the entrance was very satisfying. I highly recommend it! The park isn't very large, and even though it was Sunday, it wasn't too crowded. After experiencing all the attractions, I felt like that was enough, but my younger daughter seemed very satisfied with Hurricane Bay.

We went!! Since there were a lot of people on the bus, we went directly from the hotel. We arrived by 10 o'clock. The kids were thrilled, especially with the wave pool, where they spent most of their time playing. There are wave pools in Japan too, but the ones there had stronger waves and felt like they lasted longer. The slides were exciting because the staff would push you from behind, giving you a great speed!! The wait time was about 10 minutes, so we were able to go on multiple times. For lunch, we only had burgers, and without a break, we went back to the pool… I brought strong sunscreen, but I still got sunburned! The next day it wasn't too bad, but they still said it hurt. I regretted not having them wear T-shirts… a lesson learned… I heard there were floaties available at the pool, so we didn't bring any, but there were so many people that there weren't enough, and several kids were searching for floaties. If someone really needs one, it's better to bring your own. Just be careful, as there might not be an air pump available. Four hours flew by, and on the way back, we relaxed and slept soundly. 行って来ました!!　バスも人数が多かったのでホテルから直行。10時には着きました。子供は大喜びで　特に波のプールがお気に入りで　ほとんどをそこで遊んでました。日本にも波のプールはありますが　向こうのは波も強く時間も長く感じました。スライダーも　お兄さんが後ろから蹴り出してくれるので　スピードがついて迫力満点!!　並ぶ時間も１０分前後だったので　何回ものれました。お昼はバーガーを食べただけで、休憩する間もなくまたプールへ…　強めの日焼け止めを持っていきましたがしっかり焼け!　次の日ひどくはなかったですが　やっぱり痛いと言ってました。Tシャツ着せとけばよかったと後で思いました…　反省…　プールには浮輪があるとのことで持っていきませんでしたが　人がたくさんで足りず　浮輪がなく探し回ってる子が何人もいました。どうしてもいるという人は持っていった方がいいですね。ただエアポンプがない？ので要注意。４時間はあっという間に過ぎて　帰りはゆったり　ぐっすり寝て帰りました。子供はハワイで一番楽しかったと言ってます。ＡＬＡＮちゃんありがとう!!
　最後におねがい　・バス乗り場がわからず最初違う場所で待ってました。観光バスが出入りしてる場所があったので聞いたらそこでした…　やっぱり場所がわからなかった人が何人かて　お兄さんが探してました。できればバス乗り場の地図を載せてもらえるとうれしいです。
　また　ハワイ行きたいです。今度はポリネシアンに行こうと今から予定してます。その時はまたお世話になろうと思ってます。よろしくねお願いしますね!!

I participated in a tour at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park with my 11-year-old and 9-year-old children. It seemed like they were looking forward to it the most during our trip to Hawaii. It was really fun, just as we expected. They were excited about the attractions that we don't have in Japan. We played for the entire time without even having lunch. I wish we had more time. The bus arrived on time, and we received cute souvenirs, so we were very satisfied. I would love to go again.

We participated as two families. Since I had to take the kids shopping, I made a reservation as a way to atone for it... because there seemed to be so many fun attractions.

I was surprised when we got there!! There were attractions that I had never experienced in Japan, and it was so much fun. Both the kids and adults had an amazing time, forgetting our ages♪

There are many rides that small children can't go on, but if you're in elementary school, you'll definitely enjoy it, and the kids will be thrilled for sure ( *^_^* ).

You should definitely go at least once☆

It felt like a pool in Hawaii, but since I was with my 7-year-old child, I decided to sign up. It turned out to be more fun than I expected. Outside food and drinks were not allowed, so it got very crowded at the ordering area during lunchtime. This can reduce your playtime, so I think it's better to finish lunch early. I didn't have enough time to conquer all the slides, so I want to go again! ♪

予想以上に楽しい所でした。
水以外の飲食物は持ち込み不可だったので、お昼時になると注文する所がとても混んでいました。

It was a package for two people with children (Alan 1 Special! Dolphin Discovery & Play with Cute Rays). Everything was interesting. I might be repeating what others have said, but you need to be open-minded to swim with the rays. The water was a bit dirty, though. However, swimming and interacting with the rays is something you can only do here in the future. (laughs) The space was a bit cramped, but a handsome American staff member who spoke no Japanese was very accommodating. The dolphins left a lasting impression. I think the kids really enjoyed it. The sea lion feeding was also fun for the kids. We couldn't feed the sea turtles; once you get in, if you don't act properly, it can be confusing. The 10% OFF coupon for the restaurant and the waterproof cash case were not given to us, so if you go, it might be better to ask for them yourself. The meals were reasonably priced and had an American feel to them. Additionally, the sea lion and dolphin shows were entertaining. I think you can enjoy them even without participating in the programs. I felt the prices were a bit high. The staff in the park seemed to be divided between really nice people and some who were not so pleasant. However, that was overshadowed by the vacation and the atmosphere of Hawaii. This time, I booked eight types of OP tours with Alan over all seven days. It cost quite a bit, but I made wonderful memories. Last year, I didn't know about Alan and booked local tours through free papers, but I encountered some dangerous scams and misleading tours. Alan's OP tours were perfect with no complaints. If there was a problem, it would be with the tour operator. I received great support from Mr. Uchida at Alan's Hawaii branch for small troubles. When my child had a high fever, they were very caring and responded quickly and politely regarding changes to the tour date and system troubles. Thank you very much. I think Alan's system and services are well done. Once you get used to it, there might not be a better OP tour company. I wish I had known about it sooner. I look forward to a long relationship moving forward. Additionally, if there were operators in Japan, I would be 200% satisfied!!! (laughs)

２人の子供をつれての（アラン１スペシャル！ドルフィン・ディスカバリー＆かわいいエイと遊ぶパッケージ ）でした。内容はどれも面白かったです。他の方と同じ書き込みになってしまいますが、エイと泳ぐには開き直りが必要です。水が少し汚いかな。しかしエイと泳いだり触れることなど、この先ここでしかありませんから。（笑い）スペースは狭いですかね、しかし、日本語の全く通じない、ハンサムなアメリカ人のお兄さんが良い感じに対応してくれました。イルカは、思い出に残りました。子供達が本当に楽しかったんではないでしょうか。アシカの餌付けは子供達も楽しんでいました。海がめの餌付けはで来ませんでした、中に入ってからが、うまく行動しないと戸惑ってしまうと思います。レストラン10％OFFクーポンや防水キャッシュケースなどは、申告制なのかもらえなかったですね、行かれる方は、自分から言ったほうがいいかもしれません。食事は、そんなに高くなくアメリカンな感じで楽しめると思います。他に、アシカやイルカのショーは面白いです。プログラムに参加しなくても楽しめると思います。プライスは、少し高いかなと感じました。園内のスタッフがいい人と、余りにも感じの悪い人と分かれた感じを受け取りました。しかしバケーションやハワイと言う風土にそんなことは打ち消されてしまいましたが。今回、７日間全ての日にアランでＯＰツアーを８種類申し込みました。お金も本当に掛かりましたが、楽しい思い出が出来ました。昨年はアランを知らずに、フリーペーパーなどで現地ツアーで申し込みましたが、かなり危険なボッタクリやハッタリツアーにも出会い騙されてしまいました。アランのＯＰツアーは何の不満も無く完璧でした。ただ、問題があるとすれば、やはりツアー主催催行会社の問題ですかね、小さいトラブルもアランハワイ支社の内田様には大変お世話になりました。子供が、高熱を出して、ツアー日の変更や、システムトラブルなどでも、本当に親身になって迅速、丁寧な対応して頂きました。本当に有難うございました。アランのシステムやサービスは良く出来ていると思います。使い慣れれば、これ以上のＯＰツアー会社は、ないのではないでしょうか。自分ももっと早くから知りたかったです。これからも長い付き合いで宜しくお願いします。追加ですが、日本にも、オペレーターがいられれば２００％満足ですね！！！！！（笑い）
