It was my first time parasailing! The location was clearly indicated with instructions on how to input it into Google Maps, so I was able to get there without getting lost!

As soon as we set off, they asked if I wanted to take pictures and took some for me, but I was a bit nervous because there was no prior information about the cost of purchasing the photos. (It was $40 for sharing to my smartphone and receiving an SD card.) I wish they had informed us about this beforehand.

That said, the experience itself was amazing! When I participated, there were four groups (a total of eight people), and each flight lasted about five minutes, which was very satisfying! After returning, we high-fived each other and took photos together, and later shared them via AirDrop. It was a wonderful encounter when we happened to meet again at a restaurant that night and chatted a bit!

Taking motion sickness medication is a must! While the other three groups were flying, we had to wait on the boat, which rocked quite a bit, so it made me feel nauseous... I took motion sickness medication, but I still felt a bit sick.

他の参加者の方とも戻ってきたらハイタッチしたりお互いに写真を撮りあって終わったあとにAirDropで送りあったり、その日の夜にたまたま飲食店で再会し少しお話できたり素敵な出会にもなりました！

酔い止めは必須です！
他3組が飛んでいる間は船で待機なのですが結構揺れるので酔います…

Celebrating my wife's birthday on the Star of Honolulu! It was organized from the time we were picked up at our hotel by bus to being seated at our reserved table. The ship is divided by what package you purchase (excellent idea). We got a chance to watch fireworks from the Hilton Hawaiian Hotel beach. But was wonderful was the breezes off the ocean in addition to the wonderful sunset while you have your meal. Your meal is brought to your table by the fantastic wait staff. Live music is performed while dining. Later, there is a hula/chaka show. Before you know it, the night is over. My wife received a special birthday cake that was light as a feather and delicious. We ended our stay in Oahu with this dinner cruise. Best time spent. Would do it again just for the sunsets.

Buffet: Simply put, it’s not good. They advertise roast beef, but it’s just tough. I was astonished that they would serve this quality of food for this price. I think it’s better to buy prepared food at ABC Store.

Staff: I believe it’s just a lack of training, but the quality of guidance and service is not good. The waiter was unfriendly, and after disembarking, there was no greeting or farewell atmosphere; it felt like they were just rushing us off the ship and onto the bus.

Show: They are desperately trying to hype things up. Despite that, the singing isn’t good; it felt like they were just trying to create an atmosphere of excitement by getting everyone to dance. At the end, they called out someone celebrating a birthday, but the surrounding atmosphere was filled with a sense of “???” which made it quite awkward.

Tour Company: They are just replying with template responses to experience posts, so I don’t think there will be any dramatic improvements in the future. They write things like “to strengthen customer service,” but I doubt it will get better.

Sunset: It looks great for photos from the ship. I think it’s better to take proper shots with a DSLR or something similar.

Fireworks: It’s nice that you can see them from the ship. Since people start reserving spots fairly early, it’s better to secure a place for the fireworks rather than watching the meal or show.

Overall: If you’re going to spend this much, I think it’s better to choose another restaurant or upgrade your hotel. Unless you absolutely want to see the fireworks from the ship, I don’t think it’s worth participating, especially on a trip to Hawaii.

ツアー会社:体験談の投稿に関して定型文で返信してるだけなので今後劇的に改善されることは無いと思います。「カスタマーサービス強化のための〜」とか書いてありますが、まあ良くなることは無いでしょう。
サンセット:船上から見るので写真映えはします。一眼レフなどでしっかり撮影した方が良いと思います。
花火:船上から見られるのでそこは良いと思います。ある程度早い時間から場所取りが始まるので食事やショーを観るくらいなら花火を観るための場所取りをして待機しておくくらいの方が良いと思います。
総評:この値段を出すくらいなら他のレストランを選ぶことや宿泊ホテルのグレードを上げる方が良いと思います。絶対に船上からの花火を観たいという人以外はせっかくのハワイ旅行ですので参加するべきでは無いと思います。

I had heard great things about Kualoa Ranch. I really wanted to explore it on horseback, but since my 7-year-old child couldn't due to age restrictions, we took turns driving a buggy while enjoying the ride with our child, and it was a lot of fun.

I have a Class A driver's license, but I'm not very experienced, and I had no problems driving at all. However, I noticed another group of Japanese tourists seemed to be lagging behind and eventually disappeared from view. Make sure to press the accelerator firmly.

I capped off our 20th wedding anniversary with this Sunset Cruise. My wife and I were tremendously pleased with everything from start to finish. From the greetings to fireworks everything was on point. The food was delicious and the wait staff was impeccable. The live jazz music was great. I recommend you get the luxury experience with all the options. We enjoyed the 5 star treatment. It was classy and sophisticated. This will be a very memorable experience.

Although it can hold up to 6 people, it's cramped, so 4 people would be comfortable. If you have more than 5 participants, I recommend making reservations for 2 groups.

While driving, the sand dust is intense, so your clothes will get covered in sand, and your face will be blackened! The scenery is magnificent and wonderful, and you can see the ocean as well.

This was my second time attending, after participating before the pandemic. Previously, there was a dance at the end where all the participants joined in. That was fun in its own way, but this time, the final hula dance show was also great. I happened to have a seat right in front of the main stage, so I was able to enjoy the best show up close.

It was a bit cramped, but there wasn't any shaking, and there were lots of cute fish at the artificial reef, making for a very meaningful time. However, I probably wouldn't go on it a second time. The boat to the submarine was nice too! I definitely recommend it.

The scenery was very beautiful, and I felt relaxed from start to finish. The instructor got off the buggy and explained the area thoroughly, but since everything was in English, I had some trouble understanding. However, they were very kind, taking lots of photos and chatting with us.

Even though the buggy couldn't go very fast, it was thrilling and quite bumpy! There was a part where we drove into what seemed like a pond, which was really exciting at the end! A lot of dust gets in your eyes, so it's better to wear goggles or glasses. Your clothes will also get quite dirty from the dust!

I used Uber to get to the meeting place, but I ended up at a different port. I couldn't get through on the phone and thought it was hopeless, but I really wanted to go parasailing, so I went to the meeting place with a glimmer of hope. In the end, I was able to reschedule, and I am very grateful! The staff were very kind and it was a lot of fun, making for great memories.

If you're driving, be aware that there are several spots (ports) for parasailing, and in the morning, traffic can double the travel time, so caution is needed. I recommend doing it as you can enjoy a panoramic view of Hawaii.

車で行く場合はパラセーリングといったスポット(港)が数箇所あるのと、朝は渋滞で倍以上時間がかかるので注意が必要です。

I made a reservation and payment for two people for parasailing on the first day of our three-day trip, arriving at 13:30.

After arriving, I changed into my swimsuit and sent my suitcase off, keeping only the essentials. However, I received an SMS at 11:20, ten minutes before the airport shuttle bus was scheduled to depart, informing me that all activities for the day were canceled due to strong winds.

After that, I had the option to either rebook or cancel for a refund, and I chose to rebook. I couldn't choose for the second day, but I successfully rebooked for the third day at 9:30. Since it wasn't due to my own circumstances, there was no change fee.

On the day of the activity, the original meeting time was 9:00, but due to a change in plans, I arrived an hour early at 8:00 by rental car. I changed and prepared at a nearby free parking lot. Although I arrived early, I was able to check in after consulting with the staff. I also confirmed the location of the free parking lot to ensure there were no issues.

We regrouped at 9:10, and by 9:20, our group of three, along with two other groups, boarded and set off. There is space to store luggage at your feet.

Once we were out at sea, parasailing began. You can take selfies and videos, but if it's your first time, you'll be battling fear while trying to operate your smartphone in a waterproof case under direct sunlight, so getting good photos and videos may depend on luck.

The staff also offers a service to take photos with a professional camera for $40, which I think is worth considering.

I won't spoil the details of the flight, but it was a very enjoyable and great experience.

As for tips, we gave $20 after returning to the port, retrieving our wallet from the trunk of the car. I’m not sure about the other two groups regarding their tips.

当日は本来なら30分前9:00集合でしたが、予定を組み直した結果レンタカーで現地に行く事になり予定より1時間早い8:00に到着し付近の無料駐車場にて着替えなど準備実施。集合より早いが相談してチェックインもできました。無料駐車場の場所も念のため確認してもらい問題ない事も確認できました。

9:10再集合になり、9:20には他2組と自分達3組が搭乗して出港。荷物は足下に収納するスペースあります。

沖に出てパラセイリング開始となります。
自撮りで写真や動画も撮影可能ですが初めてだと上空で恐怖心と戦いながら防水ケースに入ったスマホを直射日光下で操作することになるので良い写真動画が撮れるかは運次第になると思います。

Such a fun and memorable experience! We first stopped at the sandbar and played volleyball. The volleyball was actually so fun even if you have never played! The lunch was good and filling and offer beer and other choices of beverages. After that, we headed to the coral reef and spent about an hour there swimming and enjoying the fish! We say sea turtles and manta rays from afar which was unforgettable. Overall, highly recommend this fun experience for everyone!
