This a must do activity. Since Dec to Mar is mating season, they guarantee you sights of whale or will offer you another trip.
Those whales are majestic to watch. The views of west Oahu from the boat were treat to our eyes. I haven’t seen a landscape that beautiful. The good part is our boat was NOT overcrowded at all. The boat also had net at the front where you can sit. Its an amazing experience to feel the ocean waves so close.
The staff was super nice and fun. We were late by 3 mins and still they were courteous and waited for us. The music on boat is fun and the crew will keep entertaining you with the Hawaii'an language to call out whales and also jokes!! They were also helpful in clicking pictures for us. We even managed to get a pic with whale's tail in the background!!!
They offer 1 free drink per person (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and a snack too :). I would suggest not to drink while on boat if you have a motion sickness. We had US COVID vaccination card so weren't required to take a COVID test. Please check with COVID requirements before booking.

We are so glad that we booked this during our trip to Oahu. With so much to do, we weren't sure if we were making a mistake committing an entire morning to one activity, but we would absolutely do this over again. Doug, Natalie, and Nicole were an awesome crew, striking the perfect balance of fun and informative. We saw quite a few whales while still getting to enjoy the beautiful morning on the catamaran.

Waikiki Submarine Tour - Descend to 100ft, See Shipwrecks & Sunken Airplanes
Good one time experience

Great experience viewing aquatic life from submarine. Totally worth to visit once in a lifetime. On downside, finding the checking point was too cumbersome. Do plan to reach well advance in time. Did see lots of fishes, turtles. A bit on the expensive side, but again where else you would see marine life so closely without getting wet.

Great way to see the island + waterfall

The tour was in a mini-bus rather than the larger motorcoach buses. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I really liked the stop at Waimea Valley the best. It was nice to get out and go on a nature walk. The entire route is fully paved. If you want to swim, there's time to swim too. Lunch was at Fumi's and I'd recommend their garlic shrimp (yum!). Overall, the day was a full day so make sure you get plenty of rest the night before and wear comfortable shoes.

Complete Pearl Harbor Tour with Lunch - Visit Main Exhibits, Memorials & Museums

Make sure you have a good night's sleep the day before. This is a FULL day tour where you get to visit all the attractions at Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona, USS Missouri Battleship, Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum and USS Bowfin submarine. Wear comfortable shoes as you'll be walking around the entire day. This is truly a memorable tour and we learned so much from our tour guide. Would recommend for history buffs!

Crab, crab, and MORE crab!

If you love all-you-can-eat crab lets, then THIS is the menu for you. We ate stacks on stacks of crabs. But, if you aren't - you can substitute the crab for chicken, fish, or a vegan option. The crabs were perfect with butter! Good entertainment and beautiful city skyline.

We took our two boys, ages 6 & 8 and it was a perfect historical experience. Captivating, educational, great length and easy tour for young children. Highly recommend! I was worried about a longer tour that would lose the kids interest, but this did not disappoint. Both my boys loved the experience.

We booked this trip as part of the bachelorette party. Had an amazing experience from start to finish. We had a bus pick us up from the hotel we were staying and dropped us off at the location. Once we arrived we got on the boat, staff was extremely friendly and attentive. There was plenty of time in between each excursion to enjoy the water activities. Had burgers, fruits, and chips for lunch. Did a little bit of turtle watching. Finished with a warm beverage of your choice to wrap up the boat ride. Highly recommend!

We had 2 adults and 2 little kids. We saw whales within the first 20 minutes and they continues to follow them. The staff was highly engaging and very informative during the trip. This is not a stuffy pre-canned trip, the staff really made it an enjoyable time and you can tell they love what they do.

We loved Captain Jesse, Aaron, and Seanna! They went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best experience possible. Thanks to them, we were able to see 2 males showing dominance over the other, and 1 baby calf fooling around. On the boat, it was very spacious and the service was phenomenal. Would recommend 10/10.

Kualoa Ranch Experience

Great tours, did three tours, the Jungle experience, movie tour and Farm tour. Everything was well organized including the included lunch. The bus picked us up at the hotel right on time and drooped us off back at the hotel. All the guides were very informative and allowed ample time to see all the sights that had stops.
Would highly recommend Veltra as we did 2 different tour with them during our visit including the Island circle tour

Lasted way longer than we were told. People were lined up to get off an hour before we docked. The meal was tasty but not filling. The entertainment was great and the dancers were absolutely amazing. The staff of very friendly and Overall it was a good experience just not something I would do again. If you get motion sickness I would think twice about this I saw many people spend the entire cruise in the bathroom.

With all the Covid guidelines in place, there are several interactive segments in the Luau format that we can't do right now due to social distancing. Those are the segments when we invite guests on stage to learn the Hula, and also the Tahitian segment but we couldn't do that when you attended. We are looking forward to getting back to our normal format, so I hope you can return one day to experience our luau once things get back to "normal"...We appreciate you choosing Germaine's Luau as a fun activity to do while you were on vacation here. Germaine's Luau was very entertaining for my family and I. However, there was a lot of sitting around and waiting for things to happen. We were met with a mediocre box of lettuce and fruit to start with, there was some entertainment and then 1.5 hours later we were able to get other food; buffet style. The food was delicious but by the time my kiddos were fed, they were cranky and had enough. I am happy to say that I have been to a Luau and experienced the food and entertainment.

It has a lot to do with the strict guidelines in place from our State Government that we have to follow, from the Check process, to how we serve the food, and it all takes time. I'm happy that you enjoyed the food as a luau should also be relaxing and entertaining...away from the hustle and bustle of the resort area. Capt. Ige and crew was great. They treated us very good and showed us a great time. I am definitely going to do it again with other friend that comes up from abroad. Beach volleyball was fun and snorkeling near the reef was a blast as we were close to a sea turtle.

The best snorkeling tour!

I’ve been to around 6-7 different snorkel tours and the experience at Bob’s tour is by far the best. The tour is well planned, faculties are pretty new and the crew attend to a lot of details - like you’ll get a shower right after you get out of water which helps a lot if you don’t like the sea smell & want to get warm and dry quickly. The lunch is also really delicious. They even provide hot chocolate after the snorkeling, not to mention the beautiful white sand, dozens of turtles and tremendous view at the snorkeling point. Mahalo for the great experience!

Kualoa Ranch Movie Sites Tour - Visit TV Shows & Hollywood Filming Locations
Kualoa Ranch Movie Tour was a great value and experience (Tour Guide Haydn)

The experience was more than worth the price paid for admission. If you’re loaded and wealthy with a family of five, then yeah spend on the ATV experience. But this 90 minute bus tour was well worth the money. Our tour guide, Haydn, was awesome! We’ve been on a number of guided tours in Hawaii and Haydn is energetic, funny and knowledgable. He even offers to take great family photos or individual pictures, too! I don’t know of any tour guides that will do that. I own an RV, so driving around and talking would be difficult, especially at this ranch. Haydn does a great job navigating turns and difficult terrain. He manages to do this while cracking jokes and recalling detailed information and trivia. This tour stops and allows passengers to get out and take great pictures. You still have access to look around the grounds including the ranch history exhibit, horses, and gift shop. This tour is highly recommended.
