We participated as a couple.
It was the rainy season, but we were blessed with clear skies, making it a great day for a cruise!

About 80% of the participants were Japanese, and 20% were from Western countries.

We took a bus to the boat, and after getting off, we were guided by the staff to our seats, so being towards the front allowed us to sit by the window.

The air conditioning on the boat was the strongest I experienced during my time in Hawaii, so it would have been nice to have something to wrap around me. However, you can help yourself to warm drinks.

Seeing whales depends on luck, but we were able to see them from a distance. Having seen them up close before, I wished we could have seen them a bit closer this time. But it was still exciting!

The meal was a buffet, and everything was delicious. However, the desserts were quite sweet, so I left some behind.

After the meal, we experienced making a lei. I had never done it before, so it was fun! You can take it home with you. The cost is included in the tour.

This was more than just whale watching; it was a really great cruise experience!

雨季の時期でしたが快晴に恵まれ、クルーズをするにはとてもいい日でした！

参加者は日本人８割、欧米人２割といった感じです。

バスで船まで向かうのですが、バスを降りてからスタッフに連れられ船に向かうとそのまま順番に席に案内されるので、前のほうにいたおかげで窓側に座ることができました。

船内はハワイで過ごした中で１番冷房が効いていたので、はおるものがあればいいかなと。でも温かい飲み物をセルフで飲めます。

クジラはその日の運ですが、遠くで見ることができました。以前に近くで見たことがあるだけに、もう少し近くで見たかったです。でもやっぱり興奮します！

食事はバイキングで、どれもおいしかったです。ただスイーツはかなり甘いので、残してしまいました。

食事の後にレイの花輪づくりを体験しました。経験したことがなかったので、楽しかったです♪そのまま持ち帰れます。金額はツアーに入ってます。

今回はホエールウォッチングとしてより、クルーズとしてはすごくよかったです！

My wife and I went on this snorkeling cruise in late February, and it was the funnest part of our vacation on Oahu. Allthough there are many choices for snorkeling you could take while in Hawaii, and on Oahu, I really think this was good for the price. The crew, the lunch, and especially the place where we snorkled - Kaneohe Bay. Fantastic! The sandbar was fun, I think they should spend more time there, or incorporate another tour that would be just for those wanting to lounge around on the sandbar and have some drinks and food. We are glad that we went on this activity, and would do it again!

Within five minutes of departing, a whale appeared, and we were all so excited! At first, we could only see it from a distance, but eventually, the whale came closer, and cheers erupted all around the boat. It's also reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it!

出港して５分もしないうちにクジラが現れ、大興奮！
最初は遠くでしか見ることが出来ませんでしたが、最終的にはクジラから近づいて来てくれて、船のいたるところで歓声が上がっていました。
金額的にも手頃ですし、本当におすすめです！

We participated with 10 family members and friends.
We were able to see whales, of course!
The staff promptly informed us when the whales appeared.

There were also staff members who spoke Japanese, so they provided interesting and easy-to-understand explanations in Japanese.

In addition to the whales, our family participated in a hula dance lesson, which was a lot of fun.
I also joined a ukulele lesson with my friends.

Additionally, they provided live music, which kept things engaging.

The food was better than I expected.

クジラはもちろん見れました！！
スタッフの方がクジラが出てきたら、すぐに教えてくださいます。

日本語が話せるスタッフもいらっしゃったので、日本語で面白くわかりやすく説明してくれました。

また、クジラ以外でも、フラダンスのレッスンに家族で参加し、とても盛り上がりました。
ウクレレレッスンにも友人と参加しました。

あと、生演奏もしてくれ、飽きさせないところが良いです。

食事も思ったより美味しかったです。

Having lived on Oahu for 5 1/2 years in the '50s and never having visited any of the other islands, my sister and I were expecting to see something different and unique. This tour certainly filled the bill and was both those things - and more! Our tour guide - Patty -was very knowledgeable about local and island history and places of interest. She stopped at more than the expected stops and we had plenty of time at each one of them to take pictures, visit any shops that were there and generally get a feel for the place. The fact that we were a small group - just 8 of us on a mini-bus - was fantastic and we turned into a group of 6 after lunch after dropping one couple off back at their Kauai hotel.

It was wonderful to see the unspoilt beauty of Kauai, much as Oahu was when we knew it and before development spoiled it. We were so happy to hear that there has been a limit put on the number of stories hotels there can have, albeit after Marriott built their 8-storey one. At lea

The whale watching this time was very enjoyable.
We were able to see whales multiple times during the trip.
The staff kindly announced the direction where the whales could be seen, so we had no trouble spotting them.
They provided assistance in English, but they were also very thorough in Japanese.
Even during the times when we couldn't see any whales, we enjoyed the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea!

乗船中クジラを何度も見ることができました。
係員の人がクジラの見える方向を丁寧にアナウンスしてくれたので苦労することなくクジラを見れました。
英語での対応はもちろんですが日本語をでの対応もかなりきちんとしてくれていました。
クジラが見えなった時間帯でもワイキキやダイアモンドヘッドの景色を海から楽しめました！

We went with a group of friends this past Saturday on the Early Bird cruise and it was fabulous! We saw whales pretty much the moment we left the harbor and we got lots of pictures. It wasn't too crowded at all. The ship is very nice, very well maintained and clean. The crew was very friendly and helpful.

I recommend motion sickness medication if you're prone to it. I am, and even though I took it beforehand I still got seasick.

We saw a pod of three whales, dolphins, and albatross. A very neat experience for us and the kids.

I participated in an early morning cruise. When it comes to the winter sea, it's all about whales. I was torn between a whale tour and this one, but I decided to take a chance on the winter sea and chose this tour.

Although it was a dolphin tour, we stopped at a point where we could see whales at the beginning of the cruise, and I was able to see my long-awaited whales. I was also satisfied to see a mother and baby whale!

Then, we encountered many dolphins, and just when I thought we found one, a group of a dozen dolphins appeared, which was so exciting! The snorkeling afterward was also great, as I saw a lot of fish.

I'm not a strong swimmer, but thanks to the life jacket, I was able to snorkel with peace of mind. This time, there were three generations participating, from 0 to 71 years old, and my 3-year-old son enjoyed snorkeling, while my in-laws also had a great time on the cruise and snorkeling.

There was a staff member who was fluent in Japanese, which was reassuring. I couldn't eat lunch on the boat due to a bit of seasickness, but the staff kindly packaged it for me to take home. I ate it at the hotel after returning, and it was light and delicious.

早起きクルーズに参加しました。
冬の海といえばクジラ。クジラツアーと悩んだのですが、
冬の海に賭けて、こちらのツアーを選択しました。
イルカツアーでしたが、クルーズのはじめはクジラが見えるポイントへも寄ってくれて、念願のクジラを見ることができました。親子クジラにもあえて満足！
そして、本題のイルカにもたくさんあえました。１頭見つけたと思ったら十数頭のイルカの群が現れて大興奮！
その後のシュノーケリングもお魚がたくさんみえました。
私はカナヅチなのですが、ライフジャケットのお陰で安心してシュノーケリングできました。
今回三世代で０歳~７１歳の参加でしたが、３歳の息子もシュノーケリングを楽しみ、義両親もクルーズ＆シュノーケリングを楽しんでいました。
スタッフは日本語の堪能な方がいて安心できました。
昼食はちょっと船酔いのため船内で食べられなかったのですが、スタッフのかたが配慮くださり、お持ち帰り用にまとめてくださいました。帰宅後にホテルで食べたのですがあっさりしていて美味しかったです。

We booked this tour after reading about it on a web site. We asked our kids do you want to go to amusemant park setting and touch dolphins, OR swim with them in the ocean, and the results was unanimous The wild ones in the ocean! They picked us up at our hotel and took us to the boat, they were very friendly and punctual. The staff on the boat were beyond awesome. They were fun and explained everything and paid special attention to our 9 year old who was a little scared to go out in the big ocean. Pete sense her fear, and took control and jumped in the water with her and she had the best seat in the house on his back swimming with dolphins! He even brough her up a sea urchin to delight her while she was eating lunch! We had pretty rough water but the captain on the boat did a great job, very obvious he knew exactly what to do in in rough ocean. They bbq'd burgers for lunch with purple colored hamburger buns wheich totally delighted our daughter! They entertained us afterward

I finally got to meet the dolphins I had been dreaming about! I learned how to train them and took on the challenge. Amazing! Dolphins are so smart!

Even though I was just an amateur customer giving instructions, they followed along perfectly, and I was really impressed!

However, I almost missed out on the experience. I got passed over and had to protest in broken English to the white instructor before I could finally interact with them. It felt like I was being blamed for something, which was quite unpleasant.

All the explanations were in fast English, and she didn’t speak a word of broken Japanese. I managed to understand, but it was frustrating... Even though this is a tourist spot in Hawaii, I didn’t appreciate her refusal to use any Japanese. She didn’t smile at all.

I’m sure there are good instructors out there, but...

The staff's response rating is ☆☆ because of this experience.

In contrast, the Japanese female staff were extremely kind and saved the day.

It was mentioned that it’s better not to bring extra money, but they sell photos of you interacting with the dolphins for $16 each, so I recommend bringing some cash for that. The photos turn out so beautifully that you’ll want to buy them. You can take three poses per person. There are lockers available, but the showers are just old-fashioned water showers.

素人の客の指示なのに、ちゃんと動いてくれて感激！

でも、危うくやらせてもらえないところでした。抜かされてしまい、白人のインストラクターに拙い英語で抗議して、やっと触れ合うことができました。何だか私が悪いみたいな顔をされて、不愉快でした。
説明は全て早い英語で、片言の日本語も話しません。何とか理解したので良かったですが・・・ハワイの観光場所なのに、日本語を一切拒否するような彼女には好感がもてませんでした。笑顔がない人でした。
良いインストラクターもいるのでしょうが・・・

スタッフの対応評価が、☆☆　なのは、そのためです。

それに引き換え、日本人の女性スタッフは非常に親切で救われました。

余分なお金は持っていかない方が良いと書いてありましたが、イルカと触れ合っている写真が１枚１６ドルで販売するので、その分も持って行くことをお勧めします。余りにも綺麗に撮れているので買いたくなりますよ。一人３ポーズあります。　　一応、ロッカーはあります。　シャワーは、旧式の水シャワーのみです。

I went for the first time, and it was so much fun with an intensity that you don't find in Japan!
The wave pool had incredible waves, and I couldn't move forward at all.
It was on a completely different level compared to the wave pools in Japan.

If I go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to participate!

Next time, I want to go when it's hot!

初めて行きましたが、日本にはない激しさで、とても楽しかったです♪
波のプールが半端ない波で、全然前に進めませんでした。
日本の波のプールと桁違いでした。

We participated as a family of four (two children, a middle schooler and a high schooler). It was a one-day course, but since it was only about four hours in total from 10 AM to around 2 PM, we felt like we could have used more time. In the morning, we arrived at the meeting point on time, and a large bus came to pick us up. We chose a plan to do bodyboarding at the location, which seemed to be especially fun for the kids.

夫婦と子供2人（中学生・高校生）で参加。1日のコースでしたが、10時から2時ごろまでの実質4時間だったので、もっと時間があればと感じました。朝は集合場所に時間通り、大型バスが迎えにきました。現地ではボディーボードをするプランにしたので、それが子供たちには特に楽しかったようです。

Swimming while holding onto a dolphin was amazing, and my wife was thrilled! If I could wish for anything, it would be to play with the dolphins a bit more! Since most of the explanations are in English, I think those who don't understand English might miss out on some of the fun.

If you're looking for a guaranteed chance to see dolphins and swim with them, you should definitely give it a try!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Capt. Jon and crew. As a sailor, my enjoyment was enhanced by Capt. Jon's tales of building the vessel and sailing itr from the Caribbean to Hawaii. He is justly proud having built a beautiful and very comfortable boat. As hoped, we were able to watch whales within sight of the beautiful Hawaiian coast and also enjoyed some great sailing. Great trip, great boat and great crew and great value!

We had a great time on this cruise/snorkel activity. The staff on the boat were friendly and knowledgeable. The snorkeling on the reef was awesome with lots of colorful corals and many different fish. We saw a turtle in the water while we were snorkeling and followed it for awhile. We played water volleyball on the sandbar and it was lots of fun. The boat stopped at a spot where there are green turtles and we saw lots of them. The guitar serenade during lunch was a nice touch. I would recommend this cruise to others.

I was hesitant whether or not to go to the USS Missouri while visiting Pearl Harbor because we did not have a full day to spend there. I am glad I did. We did the tour on our own, which I would recommend if you are on a time restraint as we were. We were able to stop and listen to some of the guides as they were communicating with their groups and overall had a great experience for the cost.

I participated in whale watching during my mother and aunt's first trip to Hawaii, as it was the season for it. If you're expecting the spectacular jumps often seen in whale photos, you might be disappointed. However, if you approach it with the mindset of leisurely enjoying a cruise in Hawaii, you might feel lucky and satisfied to see some whales as a bonus.

They made sure we could see the whales well by moving around to chase them, and with lunch included, I think the price is reasonable.

I chose this tour because it was offered in Japanese, and while there were Japanese announcements during the cruise, it was disappointing that the staff's explanations about the whales right after departure were only in English.

ハワイのクルーズをのんびり楽しむくらいの気持ちで参加すれば、おまけにクジラが見られてラッキーと満足できるかも

ちゃんとクジラが良く見られるように、クジラを追いかけ移動もしてくれたし、ランチもついてこの値段だったらＯＫなのではないでしょうか

ただ、日本語対応コースだったので参加したのですが、航行中のテープアナウンスは日本語もありましたが、出航直後のスタッフのクジラの説明など英語のみだったのが残念でした

I saw the tail fin while the water was splashing and the back was moving. Considering that there are times when you can't see anything at all, I think I was lucky, but it still feels unsatisfying if you can't see the whole jump. Even though the time is long, around 2 to 3 hours, it can get sleepy since there isn't much movement. It might be nice for enjoying a leisurely time on the sea.

潮吹きと背中が動いているところ、尾びれが見えました。全く見えないこともあることを考えるとラッキーだったのだと思いますが、やはりジャンプなど全体が見れないと物足りないです。時間が２~３時間と長い割に、特に移動をしないので眠くなります。のんびり海の上の時間を楽しむにはいいかも。

The tour and the tour bus were excellent. We got tickets to the Arizona shuttle/tour as advertised and the driver was fun and informative. Worth the price for the "front of the line" tickets at the Arizona. Family of 6 really enjoyed the experience and it was the right duration for the youngest (5).

The instructions for pickup at 635am were vague enough to cause a little confusion for us because the hotel where we were picked up is closed and under renovation. And the point of contact number on the voucher was not answered at that time of the morning to make sure we were at the correct location. A little "personal attention to detail" giving more information would have gone a long way to make the pickup less stressful. This is our only complaint... minor.

The tour guide was a wonderful Japanese lady who was very kind.

It was a lucky day; I was able to swim with dolphins (although they were a bit far away), see whales, and swim very close to turtles.

On the way back, I was thrilled to see a larger dolphin that rarely appears!

The lunch burger was really delicious, and those who wanted to could also enjoy kayaking, making for a very fun experience.

The local guides and hula dance instructors were also very warm and wonderful people, creating great memories.

There were couples, solo travelers, and groups of two girls, among others.

The boat swayed a bit, so it's better to take motion sickness medication!

I highly recommend this tour!!

ツアーのガイドさんも日本人の素敵なお姉さんで、とても親切でよかった。

その日はラッキーデーで、イルカとも泳げたし（ちょっと遠かったけど）クジラも見れて、カメともとても近くで一緒に泳ぐことができました。

帰りがけにたまにしか現れない大きめのイルカも見ることができて感動！！

途中のランチのハンバーガーがとってもおいしかったり、カヤックも希望者は乗せてもらえてとても楽しく過ごすことができました。

現地のガイドサンやフラダンスの先生たちもとても温かく素敵な人で、いい思い出ができました。

カップル、一人旅、女の子二人組みいろいろな方がいました。

船は少し揺れるので酔い止め飲んでおいたほうがBETTER！

The dolphins were incredibly cute, and it was so much fun to hold onto their dorsal fins and give them kisses! Although the time was short, it was truly a valuable experience that moved me. I also bought photos separately, which became a wonderful keepsake. It was so healing.

Sea Life Park has various shows, and the dolphin show was creatively arranged and very impressive. It was amazing to see the instructor riding on top of a dolphin like a surfboard! When I come to Oahu again, I want to visit Sea Life Park and touch the dolphins again.

イルカがすごくかわいくて、背びれにつかまったりキスをしたりすごく楽しかったです！！
時間は短いですが、本当に貴重な体験で感動しました。
写真も別売りで買ったのですが、すごく良い記念になりました。癒されます。
シーライフパークにはいろんなショーがやってて、
イルカショーは工夫をこらしてあって見ごたえがありました☆
イルカの上にインストラクターがサーフボードのように乗っているのがすごかったです！
オアフにきたらまたシーライフパークに来てイルカに触りたいです。

This was a very pleasant surprise for the rest of our group who did not expect this welcome in Hawaii. The person greeting us at the airport welcomed each one of us individually and was then prepared to take numerous photos in a suitable location outside the airport arrival area. She then also made sure that we get to our prebooked bus on time. Definitiely worth it especially for 1st timers and for special events. If you want to make your hliday in Hawaii something to remember, start with a lei welcome right at the airport, it puts everyone in the right mood no matter how long the flight.

While it was a very successful trip, viewing is still somewhat limited. I love your having a professional photographer on board who got us great pictures of the whales. I would like to be able to get a flashdrive or have the pictures emailed to me for printing on higher quality paper. But overall a very good experience.

Everyone was extremely helpful. My husband and I were directed to our table right away. When we decided to go up deck for the view we went back to our table and had our salads waiting for us. The lobster was delicious and they even helped crack it open. The entertainment was fun and engaging and when it came to disembark the ship, it was fast and painless...no line! My favorite part was the view of Honolulu and Waikiki at sunset.

I went on Captain Bob's Snorkeling Adventure with 4 friends last week and we all agreed that it was the BEST day we spent in Hawaii. The crew was FANTASTIC; fun, entertaining, knowledgeable, laid back... perfect!

The ocean volleyball and snorkeling at our own reef was a welcome change from the crowds in Waikiki.

I highly recommend this trip to everyone visiting Oahu! We have all decided to bring our kids and do this trip again on our next visit to the island.

The last time I used this service, I only saw a breach at the very end, but this time it was amazing!! After departing and finishing breakfast at the buffet, when I went out on deck, one of the crew members told me, "There’s a whale over there." I hurriedly called my family out to the deck, and there were three pairs of mother and baby whales surrounding our boat.

For over 30 minutes, we could see whales in every direction. The crew was excitedly saying, "It's rare to see this many. Plus, the baby whale is breaching multiple times." There was a Japanese staff member among the Navatek crew, so after the English explanation, they translated it into Japanese, which helped us understand a lot.

Relatives who went on another tour the next day said they only saw a tail once. Whether you encounter whales or not is a matter of luck, but the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from Navatek is very beautiful. I definitely recommend it as a cruising experience.

出発して朝食のバイキングを食べ終わり、デッキに出たらクルーの一人が「あっちにクジラがいるよ。」と教えてくれました。急いで家族を呼んでデッキに出たら、三組もの親子クジラが私たちの船を囲んでいました。
それから３０分以上どの方向にいても、クジラが見える状態。
クルーも「こんなに見れるのは珍しいよ。しかも赤ちゃんクジラがブリーチングを何度もしているなんて。」と興奮気味に語っていました。
ナバテックのクルーの中に日本人スタッフがいたので、英語の説明のあと日本語に翻訳してくれたので色んなことがわかりました。
次の日に他のツアーで行った親戚は尻尾が一度だけしか見れなかったと言っていました。
クジラと出会えるかどうかは運次第ですが、ナバッテックから見るワイキキやダイアモンドヘッドはとてもきれいです。
クルージングも兼ねて是非おすすめします。

There was a Japanese staff member, but their service was not very attentive, which was disappointing.
It was great to see a lot of whales.

海が荒れていたので、とても揺れました。
気分が悪くなっている人が多かったです。
酔い止めを持参する事をすすめます。
日本人のスタッフの方がいましたが、あまり丁寧な対応ができていませんでした。それが残念でした。
鯨は、たくさん見れて良かったです。

At a depth of 30 meters, I was able to see four turtles. I had some difficulty taking photos from inside the submarine, but since opportunities to ride a submarine are rare, I definitely think you should experience it! Even on the boat to the point where you transfer to the submarine, the deck on the second floor is refreshing, and if you're lucky, you might see a whale!

水深３０ｍで、カメに４匹も会えました。やや艦内からの撮影がうまくできませんでしたが、なかなか潜水艦に乗れる機会はないので、是非、体験したら良いと思います！潜水艦に乗り移る地点までの船上でも、２階でデッキが爽快で、運が良ければ、クジラに会えます！

The greeter was friendly, informative and extremely helpful. She was able to answer all our questions and helped us through the airport and to our transportation. We felt very special getting the leis while the other people on the plane just walked by with no one there to greet them.

On February 4, 2011, I participated in a whale watching tour with a friend and my friend's mother, making it three of us.

I had joined a dinner cruise on the Star of Honolulu last summer, so this was my second time on this ship.

Since the season and time of day were different from my last visit, I was deeply moved by the view of Waikiki and the lush Diamond Head from the sea.

Even when I thought I could enjoy this scenery without seeing any whales, a whale appeared, and I was further touched to see dolphins swimming alongside the whale, playing together.

I would love to book a tour with Alan1 again.

2011年2月4日に友人と友人のお母さまと私という３人でホエールウォッチングに参加しました。

私は昨年の夏、スターオブ・ホノルル号でディナークルーズに参加したので、この船は２回目の乗船でした。

前回とは季節も時間帯が違うので、海からのワイキキや緑の多いダイヤモドヘッドの眺めに大変感動しました。

クジラが見えなくてもこの景色で十分楽しめたなぁと思っていたら、クジラが現れ、さらにイルカもクジラと遊ぶように一緒に泳ぐ姿が見られて心から感動し、癒されました。

またalan1でツアーを予約したいなぁと思いました。
