For individuals, first, obtaining tickets is difficult. I tried twice at 7 AM when the online application opened, but there were many input fields, and within 10 minutes, it was sold out. I found this tour, which includes transportation and a snorkeling set, and signed up. The $25 entrance fee is not included, but if the tour is available, you can enter Hanauma Bay, so I recommend it. Previously, The Bus used to go close by, but it has now been discontinued, so you would need to rent a car or take a taxi, which means quite a bit of walking. This tour, which takes you to the entrance, is highly recommended. Even with broken English, it was fine.

I really appreciated the crew and the way they treated us! The day was beautiful - a little overcast, but so beautiful as it always is at the sandbar. The sun came through and allowed us to be dazzled by the colors of the ocean. We saw lots of fish on our snorkel segment, and the majority of the boat played a fun game of volleyball in the water. The food was good, and the boat was spacious enough to allow everyone to see the turtles and to gaze at the beauty of the landscape as we moved through the water. I was lucky to be able to spend this memorable day with my cousin visiting from out of town. This was perfect for one of our big activities! We will never forget this fun experience!

The Manoa Falls Trail has beautiful scenery and it’s an easy/ moderate hike going up. But the Manoa Falls at this time ( November) has little water but still worth the hike and a lot of great spots for IG.
Orlando our tour guide is very knowledgeable and made a lot of good recommendations around Honolulu. He provided us with water and bug spray. He is on time picking us up in the hotel.

After visiting the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor on November 18, 2025, I went to the Battleship Missouri Memorial. I was able to make an online reservation before departing from Japan, which made my visit very reassuring.

The Battleship Missouri was launched in January 1944 and participated in the Iwo Jima and Okinawa landings. On September 2, 1945, it served as the venue for the signing ceremony of the surrender documents between the Allied forces led by General MacArthur and the Japanese government delegation led by Foreign Minister Shigemitsu.

Later, in 1950, it was deployed during the Korean War, and although it was decommissioned in 1955, it was reactivated in 1986. It participated in the Gulf War in 1991, was decommissioned again in 1992, and arrived at Pearl Harbor in 1998, opening as a memorial the following year. The Missouri is referred to as the last battleship because it was the last to be completed and the last to be decommissioned.

There are Japanese-speaking volunteer guides on board who provide detailed information about the history of the Missouri, its main guns, and the surrender document signing ceremony, so I recommend requesting a guide.

There is a counter at the entrance where you can check in. After the guided tour, you can freely explore the ship. You can visit various areas of the battleship that are not typically accessible, including the bridge, the dining areas for senior officers and sailors, the sleeping quarters, and the ship's post office, making it a valuable experience.

艦内では日本語のボランティアガイドが常駐していて、ミズーリの歴史や主砲、降伏文書調印式の様子などを詳しく教えてくれますから、ガイドを依頼する事をお勧めします。
艦に登った所にカウンターがありそこで受付をしています。
ガイド終了後は自由に艦内を見学出来ます。艦橋を始め上級士官や水兵の食堂、寝室、艦内の郵便局など、普通目にする事が出来ない戦艦の様々な場所を見学出来るので貴重な体験です。

Overall, it was amazing. The day we booked was sunny, so we could see a beautiful sunset, which was very moving. We made our reservation on a day when we could see the fireworks on Friday, and I was very satisfied to watch the fireworks from the boat. The atmosphere was great, and it was wonderful to hear live singing. We chose the buffet for our meal, and it was delicious. Many of the staff were friendly, which made it enjoyable. I'm glad I experienced this.

It was easy to get there by bus from around Waikiki. I made a reservation with a guaranteed window seat and received an album as well. Perhaps because nearly half of the guests were Japanese, there were rice and Japanese food at the buffet. The main attraction was the freshly sliced roast beef, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The first drink, whether a non-alcoholic cocktail or a cocktail, is free. As I finished my first round at the buffet, the sun began to set, and I was able to freely go up on the deck of the boat. The sunset viewed from the boat was very beautiful, and even after it got dark, I could enjoy the night scenery. At night, I was able to enjoy Hawaiian culture and music up close. It was calm, so I didn't get seasick and had a wonderful time until the end!

We used this for our honeymoon trip as a couple. We opted for a plan that included round-trip transportation to the hotel for an additional fee. While it was a bit pricey, the service and experience exceeded our expectations.

If you're looking to enjoy the lively atmosphere of Hawaii, this might not be the right fit for you. However, I think watching the sunset while listening to jazz in a calm setting is a unique experience that’s hard to come by.

There were about 10% Japanese guests, and while the menu had some items in Japanese, all orders and communication were in English. The introductions of the musicians and the engaging talks were also all in English, so having some understanding of the language would make it more enjoyable.

It was a really good value for the price since the dinner and alcoholic beverage were also included. The crew was really great too and we spent time talking to them as well. Captain Don, Trent and Jacob were really fun and helpful throughout the experience. Even if we didn't see the sunset because of the weather, it was still great because we saw a humpback whale swimming next to us.

We had an early morning meeting, but they arrived on time to pick us up. It's all in English (laughs). My daughter, who can hear but doesn't understand English, was confused. But we managed somehow! At one point, my 4-year-old daughter was surprised and cried when she got splashed with water, but I enjoyed it until the end! They took many precious photos of my timid daughter trying her best to pet the dolphins. When you give a signal, the dolphins perform various tricks based on that signal. It was so much fun!

Everything went smoothly-tour operator picked us up on time at designated spot and returned us at appropriate time, and gave us a narrative talk about the area enroute to Diamond Head. The destination was exceptional -with amazing views of the inland and coastline. One tip- it appears that the later you go in the day the busier the trail gets. We left at 8:30 am and the crowds were manageable. If you're in Honolulu-definitely check this beauty out-and plan to get a good cardiovascular workout in climbing to the top!

My spouse and I participated in the 3-star course. On the day of the event, the sea was calm with little movement, making for a peaceful night. The venue was open-air, and it was neither too hot nor too cold, so a single aloha shirt was sufficient.

As we set sail to the live jazz performance, we enjoyed the sunset right away. The meal consisted of a full course with lobster and steak, along with one bottle of sparkling wine and two additional drinks. The portions were generous, and we couldn't finish all the drinks. If I had to mention a downside, it was that the venue was quite crowded, and the space between tables was narrow.

After the Polynesian show, everyone got together to dance, which was a lot of fun.

We participated in a trip to Hawaii as a couple. We traveled by boat from Hilton Hawaiian Village to the submarine waiting area. The sea breeze was pleasant, and we enjoyed the scenery.

However, the waiting time after boarding the submarine until departure was a bit long, and I got seasick during that time due to the rocking. Once we started moving, I felt better, but if you are prone to motion sickness, it's a good idea to take some medication beforehand.
