I participated in the afternoon on the day of arrival on a JAL flight that landed in the morning. We went from in front of the Hilton Hotel to near Diamond Head and came back, enjoying the view of the ocean and the pleasant sea breeze, which made me really feel like I was in Hawaii. My excitement was high from the very first day.

I've heard that surprisingly many people come to Hawaii and don't even touch the ocean because they're busy shopping. That's why I recommend experiencing it during your free time on the first day.

だから　初日の　空いた時間に　体験するのがおすすめです

At the end of August, my parents, my husband and I, and our two children (a fourth grader and a kindergartner) were taken care of. My kindergartner daughter is not good with water and cannot swim at all, but a kind Japanese staff member encouraged her gently, and she seemed to get motivated. She put on a mask and peeked into the sea for just a moment. She said the coral reef looked creepy and quickly came back up, but after a break, she wanted to go back in again. While I was in the water, the staff helped tie her hair and put on her mask, and she made another attempt.

They were very considerate of the children, and I think we were able to relax.

For lunch, we went to the neighboring boat to get our food, and they also offered us more fruit, which the kids happily ate. We even encountered a sea turtle, and we enjoyed a delicious hamburger lunch.

We had a very enjoyable time. Thank you very much.

８月末に、両親、私達夫婦、小４、年長の６人でお世話になりました。
年長の娘は水が苦手で、まったく泳げないのですが、日本人スタッフのお姉さんが優しく声を掛けてくださり、その気になったようで、マスクをつけて一瞬だけ海をのぞいてみました。珊瑚礁が気持ち悪いなどと言って、すぐにあがりましたが、それでも休憩後また入りたいというので、海に入っている私に代わり、髪を結わいてくださりマスク装着なども手伝って頂き、再挑戦しました。
子供にとても気を使って頂き、リラックスできたと思います。

ランチは隣の船に取りに行くのですが、果物のおかわりなども声を掛けて頂き、子供達は喜んで食べていました。ウミガメにも出会えましたし、ハンバーガーのランチも美味しく頂きました。

とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

While searching for attractions that I could participate in during a short layover, I found this one. It was also helpful that I could make a reservation at the last minute.

At first, I wasn't sure where the meeting point was, but following the signs on the hotel property towards the beach, I found a stand that looked like it had promotional posters on it. When I asked, I learned that it was the information center. It was located between the hotel pool and the beach, in a spot where the dock was clearly visible, and the stand was similar to the towel rental stands.

Since I didn't know the location, I arrived almost an hour early, but they were able to move my reservation up because there was availability on the previous schedule. Thanks to that, I didn't waste any time.

At the dock, there is a designated photo spot, but I didn't need it. While I was taking a commemorative photo by myself, a staff member kindly offered to help me take pictures. I’m sorry I didn’t buy any photos!

We then moved from the dock to the boat offshore, where we enjoyed watching a submarine rise from the seabed. After boarding, the underwater sightseeing began. I could tell we were descending gradually by looking at the depth meter.

I listened to the Japanese guide on tape, but the guide was explaining in English while also making jokes to keep the atmosphere lively. The view from the windows was enchanting. I had trouble taking pictures with my compact camera due to insufficient light, so I recorded a video instead.

The views on the left and right sides of the submarine are different, but since they reverse on the way back, you can see roughly the same spots. It was a more accessible way to enjoy the seabed, comparable to scuba diving, without the hassle of snorkeling. There are two types of submarines, and you board the one you chose from the boat offshore. You can also see the other submarine's ascent and descent.

I participated alone, but I think it would be more enjoyable if you had someone to talk to.

トランジット途中の数時間滞在という短い時間で参加できるアトラクションを探していたところ、こちらを見つけました。
直前での申し込みも可能だったことも助かりました。
最初集合場所が良く分からなかったんですが、ホテル敷地内にある案内表示に従ってビーチ方面に進むと、宣伝ポスターを貼り付けたようなスタンドを見つけ、聞いてみるとそこが案内所でした。ホテルプールとビーチとの間のとこで、船着場の良く見えるところで、スタンドのつくりはタオル貸し出しのスタンドと同じでした。
場所が分からなかったので1時間近くも前についてしまったところ、１つ前のスケジュールに空きがあるから、と予約の便を繰り上げてくれました。おかげで時間を無駄にしなくてすみました。
船着場ではお決まりの写真撮影場所がありますが私は不要。
自分一人で記念撮影していたら、なんと係りの人が撮影を手伝ってくれました。写真買わなくてすみません＾＾；
船着場から沖合いの船へ移動。そこで海底から浮き上がってくる潜水艦を観賞。
そして乗り込んで海底観光スタート。少しずつ潜っていくのは潜水深度のメーターで分かりました。
日本語ガイドはテープを使って聞いてましたが、ガイドさんは英語で説明しつつジョークのようなことも言って艦内を盛り上げてました。
窓からの景色は幻想的でした。コンパクトカメラで撮影するには光量不足のせいかうまくいきませんでした。ムービーモードで撮影しました。
潜水館の左右の側で見れる景色が違いますが、行き帰りで逆になるので大体同じスポットを見ることは出来ます。
スノーケルよりもお手軽にスキューバ並みに海底を楽しむことが出来ました。潜水艦は２種類は２種類合って沖合いの船で自分の選択した方の船に乗ります。乗らない方の艦の浮上・潜水の様子を見ることも出来ました。
私は一人で参加したんですが、話をする相手が一緒にいた方がより楽しめると思います。

I was hesitant to join as two people in their 20s since there were many families with children both when making the reservation and on the day of the visit, but I'm glad I went! The slides were on a scale that you don't find in Japan, and I had a fantastic time. I definitely want to come back again.

予約する際も当日も子供連れが多かったため、２０代２人で参加するのは気が引けたのですが、行って良かったです！日本にはないスケールのスライダーが満載ですごく満喫出来ました。次もリピしたいと思います。

It has already been a year, but when we went, the water depth was up to our knees even in the shallow areas. Still, I was very impressed by the beauty of the sea. We were also able to see many sea turtles, and while snorkeling, a sea turtle bumped into me! It was a friendly sea turtle, and it was such a precious experience.

もう1年も前になりますが・・・
私たちが行ったときは浅いところでも膝くらいまでの水深でした。それでも、海のきれいさにはとても感動しました。
また、ウミガメもたくさん見ることができて、しかもシュノーケリングしている最中に、ウミガメの手（足？）がぶつかってきました！人懐っこいウミガメで何とも貴重な体験ができました。

Since it was an 8:00 course, I had to wake up early...

If you're lucky, you might get to see sea turtles swimming!

And we did see them! My daughter and I were both so excited!
Additionally, on the way back, we encountered a pod of dolphins!
Seeing the dolphins jumping was like a dream!

It felt a bit pricey, but I was satisfied.

８：００のコースだったので早起きをしなくてはいけなかったのですが・・・。

運が良ければ、ウミガメが泳いでいるところに会えます！
とのこと。

なんと会えました！ｌこれには私も娘も大興奮！
それに加え、帰りのボートではイルカの群れに遭遇！
ジャンプしているイルカが見れるなんて！！
夢のようでした。

ちょっと、お高い気がしますが満足しました。

I arrived early, so I didn't have to wait long and was able to enjoy myself.

It got crowded in the afternoon, but I was able to ride the attractions with shorter wait times.

It would be nice if the meeting time were a bit later...

It would also be better if the restrooms and changing rooms were a little cleaner.

But I had a great time!

早く着いたのであまり待ち時間がなく楽しめました。

午後近くからは混んできてしまったので待ち時間の少ないものから乗り楽しむことが出来ました。

集合時間はもう少し遅いとよいかな…

トイレと更衣室がもう少し綺麗だともっとよいかな。

でもとても楽しかった！

If you're going to Hawaii, you absolutely have to go to the ocean! I decided that and signed up here after checking the reviews. The staff were very friendly, and I got to see beautiful scenery, dolphins up close, and even meet sea turtles. I was able to feed colorful fish from my hand, which made for truly wonderful memories! I would love to participate again if I have the chance!

ハワイにいくなら絶対海！と決めていたので、口コミをみてこちらに申し込みました。
スタッフの対応はとてもよく、きれいな景色がみれたり、間近でイルカの群れをみれたり、海がめにもあえ、色とりどりの魚に手からエサを与えたりでき本当にいい思い出になりました！
また機械があれば参加したいです！！

There was only one turtle, but a friendly turtle that lives there came close to me. I was surprised to learn that touching it incurs a fine of over $2,500! It was moving to see a sea turtle up close like this! It was large and majestic, matching the beautiful scenery perfectly. The kids were also thrilled! The lunch portion was decent, and I was satisfied. Above all, the sea was beautiful!

１頭だけだったのですが、住みついている人懐こいカメが寄ってきます。触ると2500ドル以上の罰金というので、びっくり！こんなに近くでウミガメを見れたのは感動！大きくて雄大で、きれいな景色にマッチしていました。子供も感激！ランチもそれなりに量もあり、満足でした。何と言っても海がきれい！

Wife and I took the dinner cruise for our 25th anniversary. We had a great time. The dinner was excellent, the service was not bad. You have to remember everybody came on at the same time, so everybody wants something right away. The setting was amazing, nice boat, weather was awesome, and the scenery and sunset so beautiful. We would definately recommend this excursion.

I participated in the morning plan on Saturday the 25th. I chose this plan because I wanted to go shopping in the afternoon, and I enjoyed it more than enough! On this day, I encountered a manta ray, and there were very few people, so looking at the photos, it feels like we had the sandbar all to ourselves! Above all, the warmth and kindness of the staff helped create the best memories. My best friend and I participated together, and we both get seasick easily, but thanks to Yukiko from the staff, we had no worries about seasickness at all, and it turned out to be the best day!

I will definitely participate again when I go to Hawaii!!!

２５日の土曜日の午前中のプランに参加させていただきました。
午後から買い物に行きたかったのでこのプランにしましたが、十分すぎるほど楽しめました！
この日はマンタにも出会え、人も少なくて、写真を見ると、まるでサンドバーを独り占めしているみたい！
そして何よりスタッフの皆様の温かさと親切さに、最高の思い出を作ることができました。
親友と２人での参加で、船酔いがひどい２人でしたが、スタッフのゆきこさんのおかげで、心配していた船酔いも全くなく、最高の日になりました☆

またハワイに行ったときは必ず参加します！！！

I participated in the first tour of the morning, wondering what kind of place it would be as I boarded the boat and saw the sandy beach with knee-deep seawater. The energetic young lady's explanations were great, and I thought, "Are they contracted with the tour? Are they promoting it?" because so many sea turtles appeared, causing cheers all around! We walked and swam... A cool, dark-skinned young man also paid attention to safety, which made me, a first-time snorkeler, feel at ease. The warm tea and sandwiches, riding the bus back while still wet, is that the Hawaiian way? By the way, one of the young ladies who participated brought a "cross that absorbs moisture... bought at a sports store," and I thought, "That makes sense!"

船に乗って行くのに　砂浜が現われて膝下の海水・・・いったいどんな所だろうと思いながら　朝一番のツアーに参加。元気イッパイのお姉さんの説明も良かったし　「ツアーと契約してるのか？回し者？」かと思うほど　海亀さんもたくさん出てきてくれて　あちこちで歓声！　歩いたり泳いだり・・・真っ黒のカッコイイお兄さんも安全に気を配ってくれ　シュノーケル初体験の私も安心でした。温かいＴｅａ・サンドウィッチも　濡れた体のままバスに乗って帰るのも　ハワイ流？ちなみに参加したお嬢さんの中に　「水分を吸い取るクロス・・・スポーツ店で買ったとか」を持ってきている人がいて　なるほど！と思いました。

I was thrilled to have the rare experience of interacting with dolphins. However, I forgot to purchase the photos of my interaction while I was focused on the time! What a shame.

イルカと触れ合える貴重な体験に大興奮。しかし、時間を気にしているかと触れ合っている写真を購入するのを忘れてしまった！残念。

WOW is all I can say the lei's were so beautiful. They were both hand made and massive definitely worth the money. Large orchids made up the lei's and they were very fragrant. The greeter happened to make my husbands lei the day before. She was really sweet and chatty, she offered to take us to the baggage pickup location and answered questions we had.

Our flight was delayed 3 hours and had a gate change but our greeter was there right when we came off the plane. A must for first timers and everyone repeat Hawaiian traveler. I plan to utilize them again on our return next year.

Our family really enjoyed the tour of Pearl Harbor and the Battleship Missouri. It was very informative and easy for our kids to follow along. Our tour guide, Frank, was the best! Very personable and helpful with any questions.

I accompanied my wife, and she played with dolphins. She had a great time.

私は同行で、妻がイルカと戯れました。非常に楽しんでました。

The sandbar is likely more enjoyable on low tide, but it seems you can still have a decent time even when the land isn't exposed. When I went, there was just enough of a path left when we arrived, but by the time we left, the land was gone.

On the day I participated, there were about 100 people, but the area to play in is large, so it wasn't too bothersome. You won't have the ocean all to yourself, though.

The staff were kind, which was nice, but I wish they would refrain from smoking on the sandbar.

The turtles and snorkeling were pretty average; the main attraction is the sandbar.

I think it's enjoyable for elderly people and families as well.

サンドバーは、干潮の日のほうが楽しめるでしょうが、陸地が出ていない日でもそこそこ楽しめそうです。私の行ったときはついたときにギリギリ一本道が残っていて、帰る頃には陸地はなくなっていました。

私の参加した日は100人ぐらい人がいましたが、遊べる範囲は広いのでそんなに気にはなりませんでした。海を独り占め、って感じにはなりませんが。

スタッフの方は親切でよかったですが、サンドバーで煙草を吸うのだけはやめてほしかったです。

カメやシュノーケルはまあ普通、メインはサンドバーでしょう。

お年寄りや家族連れでも楽しめると思います。

We enjoyed a submarine tour with our family of four, which was a first for my elderly mother and something we can't experience in Japan.

We took the earliest tour at 8:00 AM. There were only 14 participants on the 64-seat submarine.

According to our guide, when there are so few participants, everyone can sit on one side, allowing us to see areas that are usually not visible from one side. This made for a unique and enjoyable tour. It felt like a lucky coincidence.

We were able to see turtles, sharks, and many fish. Unlike an aquarium, I definitely recommend this for children.

The boat ride to and from the submarine was also not crowded, so we had time to leisurely browse souvenirs, which led to some great memories as I ended up buying quite a few things.

On the return boat, we even had the chance to take commemorative photos with the captain.

高齢の母親が初ハワイということもあり、
日本では経験できない潜水艦ツアーを家族４名で楽しみました。

時間は、朝いちばんの８：００の回です。
６４名乗りの潜水艦に、参加者がわずか１４名でした。

ガイドさんの話では、
このように参加者の人数が少ないときには、
全員を片側に座ってもらい、
通常は左右どちらか片方した見れないところを
潜水艦に回ってもらい２度見れるというおいしいいツアーになりますと言ってました。
偶然とは言え、得した感じで良かったです。

亀やサメ、多くのさかなを見ることもできました。
水族館とも違い、子どもさんには、絶対にお薦めだと思います。

潜水艦までの往復の船も空いていて、
ゆっくりお土産を見ることも出来たので、
ついついいろいろ買ってしまったのも、いまはいい思い出です。


戻りの船上では、キャプテンとの記念撮影もできました。

I had high expectations, but maybe they were too high, so it was a bit off (laughs). It might be fun for families with small children.

期待が大きすぎたのか、ちょっと外れたかな（笑）
小さいお子さんのいるファミリーなら楽しいのかもしれませんね。

It felt like a paradise at sea! Due to the tides, the water was about knee-deep, but we were blessed with beautiful weather and thoroughly enjoyed the stunning ocean! The staff were all very fun people, and even though it was just a light snack, it was enough to fill us up. We were also able to see several sea turtles!

天国の海という感じでした！
潮の満ち引きの関係で膝の下ぐらいの深さでしたが、天気に恵まれ美しい海を満喫する事が出来ました！
スタッフはとても楽しい人達ばかりで、軽食といってもしっかりお腹がいっぱいになりました。
ウミガメも何頭か見る事が出来ましたよ！

A very full day. The whole experience was great. The tour guide on the Missouri was fantastic and new so much. Really glad we did this all age groups would love it.

I was looking forward to the sandbar. After getting on the boat and listening to various instructions and explanations, we headed to the sandbar... It seemed to be a bit high tide, so the water was quite deep and initially cold, but we took some photos around the waist-deep area, and now that I'm back, I look at those pictures with nostalgia. During snorkeling, I was able to see many fish, as well as pufferfish and rays. The BBQ lunch was very delicious. The staff were all kind, and I made some wonderful memories.

楽しみにしていたサンドバー。船に乗り色々な注意、説明を聞いていざサンドバーへ・・・少し満ち潮だったらしく水は結構あり最初は寒く冷たかったですが、腰の辺の所で写真を撮っていただきその写真は帰ってきた今、懐かしい思いで見ています。シュノーケリングでは沢山の魚の他、ふぐ、エイなども見ることが出来ました。ランチのＢＢＱはとても美味しかったです。スタッフの方々も皆親切で楽しい思い出が出来ました。

I was lucky to meet a sea turtle that brings good fortune and even got to take some photos!

On the way back, there were some issues with the boat, but the staff's response was great. Keep up the good work, positive Yukiko!

We participated in the Dolphin Encounter with our son, and my husband and I acted as photographers. The encounter had a Japanese-speaking guide, and it seemed like everyone was having fun touching the dolphins, getting kisses, and high-fiving them. However, since there were many participants in each session and everyone wanted to get kisses and high-fives, the waiting time felt long.

I thought it would be nice if they could reduce the number of participants or bring out another dolphin to improve the experience.

In the same pool, they were also doing the Royal Swim, which involved holding onto the dorsal fins of two dolphins and swimming about 10 meters, as well as being pushed along by their feet for another 10 meters. Again, since everyone was doing these two activities, the waiting time felt long.

Since I had visited before, I skipped the dolphin show as it seemed the same. Instead, we had lunch while it was still quiet. On our last day in Hawaii, we ended with a classic American hamburger. Well, the taste was decent.

ドルフィンエンカウンターに息子を参加させ夫婦でカメラマンをしました。
エンカウンターは日本後の説明員がつき、イルカにさわれたり、キスされたり、ハイタッチをしたりと楽しそうでした。ただ、1回の参加人数が多く、全員がキスやハイタッチをするので、待っている間が長かった気がします。
人数を減らすかイルカをもう一頭出すなどの工夫があればなとおもいました。

同じプールではロイヤルスイムをやっていましたが、これも2頭の背びれをつかんで10mくらい泳ぐのと、足の裏を押してもらってこちらも10m位進むのの2つを皆でやるので待ち時間が長いな～と思いました。

一度以前に訪れていたので、イルカショーは同じようだったのでパス。その代わり空いているうちにお昼を食べました。ハワイ最後の日だったので、アメリカらしくハンバーガーでしめました。ま、味はそこそこかな？

Ko Olina is a gorgeous area, very picturesque with manicured grounds and on the early morning tour it's just lovely to drive through here with the sun shining. First thing I was really impressed with was the Catamaran, it's very large and luxurious, I couldn't wait to get aboard! They make you take your shoes off before boarding and they store them for you until you return, you can tell this keeps the vessel from wear and tear... it was lovely inside.
Seeing the Dolphins was amazing - they do get close, the boat wasn't moving and they would come quite close to us, we didn't have to follow them. A few were jumping out of the water less than 100 yards away, such a great experience.
The staff were polite, knowledgeable and helpful - they would offer to grab you a drink - you didn't have to ask, which was really nice for a change. On the first snorkeling outing, we all had to wear life vests. I'm a pretty confident swimmer but this was nice, I could actually really relax and enjoy the

I attended on August 12. There were no issues with Alan1's voucher, but I didn't line up in the "group" line at the ticket booth, so I had to line up again (you need to line up in the right side line at the booth). However, the processing for the group line was very slow. It took about 15 minutes per person. Although it wasn't a particularly long line, I ended up waiting for about an hour.

There were also some issues with the attractions inside. At the area where you borrow a blue mat to slide down, normally the person who finishes sliding passes the mat to the next person, but many people reused the mat without passing it, resulting in a situation where new people couldn't slide at all. (This was resolved in the afternoon.)

If you miss the timing for lunch, you will have to wait. Each attraction has specific operating times, so you need to check those and go at the right time, or you'll end up in a long line. (The kitchen doesn't have the capacity to handle it!)

The wave pool had a long duration for bodyboard lessons, leaving little time to play freely.

I think it can be a fun place if you understand all these systems.

Since I went by rental car, I stopped by the mall right in front of the facility and the interchange to have frozen yogurt at Menchie's. It was very hot, so it was really delicious. I highly recommend it for those with rental cars.

8月12日に参加しました。
Alan1のバウチャーに全く問題はなかったのですが、チケットブースの「団体用」に並ばなかったので、並び直す羽目に(ブースの右側の列に並ぶ必要があります) ただ、この団体用の処理が非常に遅い。一人当たり15分くらいかかったでしょうか？特に長い行列ではなかったのですが、約1時間待ちました。

中のアトラクションも少々問題。青いマットを借りてマットに乗って滑るところでは、通常滑り終わった人が次の人にマットを渡すのでしょうが、渡さずにもう一度使ってしまう人が多く、新しく並んだ人が全く滑れない状況になっていました。(午後には解消)

昼ごはんもタイミングを逃すと待たされます。各アトラクションには動いている時間帯があるので、それを調べ、良いタイミングでいかないと大行列になります。(キッチンがそれをさばけるだけのキャパがない！)

波のプールは、ボディボードのレッスンをしている時間が長く、自由に遊べる時間が少なかった。

これらのシステムをすべて理解していれば楽しく遊べるところだと思う。

レンタカーで行ったので、この施設とインターチェンジを挟んですぐ目の前にあるモールに立ち寄り、メンチーズでフローズンヨーグルトを食べた。暑かったので、とっても美味しかった。レンタカーの人是非どうぞ。

It was interesting. The water hardly swayed, and I was able to enjoy watching the fish leisurely. It seems the children had fun too.

面白かったです。水中はほとんど揺れず、ゆったりと、魚の鑑賞を堪能できました。子供も楽しかったようです。
