On the day of the tour, although we were unable to visit Manoa Falls due to local circumstances, the tour company took us to Waimea Canyon as an alternative, which turned out to be a fun experience in a different way! The tour guide was very cheerful and fluent in Japanese, making it a great optional tour. Thank you very much!

当日は現地の都合でマノアの滝は入場不可だったものの、ツアー会社の代案でワイメア渓谷に連れていって頂き違う意味で楽しい体験が出来ました！ツアーガイドさんも超明るくて日本語も堪能できて良いオプショナルツアーとなりました。ありがとうございましたm(__)m

My 3-year-old child couldn't dive into the sea yet, but I wanted to show him sea turtles and fish, so we participated. Fortunately, we were able to see sea turtles, and my son was very happy. The meeting place was a bit hard to find, but the timeshare sales staff provided detailed instructions, which was helpful.

3歳の子どもはまだ海に潜れず、でもウミガメや魚を見せてあげたいと思い参加しました。
運良くウミガメも見られて、息子も大喜びでした。
集合場所が少し分かりにくかったですが、タイムシェアの営業の方が詳しく教えてくださったので助かりました。

This was a restaurant I had wanted to visit for many years. The presentation of the dishes was very beautiful, and the crab cream pasta was exquisite. The foie gras and filet mignon also tasted just as I expected. There were many staff members who understood Japanese, which made ordering wine stress-free and reassuring. Thank you for a wonderful time.

お料理の盛り付けが見た目にとてもきれいで、カニクリームのパスタは絶品でした。
フォアグラとフィレのお肉も期待通りの味でした。

I also requested a shuttle service, and the pickup was smooth, allowing us to arrive early.

My child was too scared to ride, but I was really happy to experience the slider that is scheduled to open this weekend a bit early.

Since it was a weekday, the place was generally quiet, and we had plenty of beach beds available. My child wanted to ride the slider but couldn't due to height restrictions, so I think it's best to do some research in advance. There are various types of sliders to enjoy, so I recommend it for those who love thrilling rides.

The lazy river was closed, but the wave pool had waves coming regularly, so we were able to enjoy it.

The staff provided a tour of the facilities in Japanese, which made it very easy to understand.

送迎もお願いしたのですが、ピックアップもスムーズで早めに到着することができました。

子どもは怖がって乗れなかったのですが、今週末オープン予定のスライダーをひと足先に体験することができてすごくうれしかったです。

平日だったので全体的に空いていて、ビーチベッドも十分使えました。
子供が乗りたかったスライダーが身長が足りず乗れなかったので、事前リサーチしておいた方がいいかと思います。
いろんな種類のスライダーを楽しめるので、絶叫系が好きな方におすすめです。

流れるプールはクローズでしたが、波のプールは定期的に波が来ていたので、楽しむことができました。

スタッフの方が日本語で施設内を案内してくれたのですごく分かりやすかったです。

This was an incredible experience and a highlight of the trip for our family. We particularly enjoyed the submarine and the tour of the ship.

It was amazing. This is my 10th time coming to Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii, and it’s always so much fun. Some people might wonder why come to Hawaii just to go to a pool, but it really is the best. This time, we even had a guide.

According to the guide, there’s a new attraction that will open in three days, and we might be able to ride it. I was curious, and when we went to check, the staff asked if we wanted to ride, and I said YES! It was incredibly scary and completely different from the other existing attractions. I thought I never wanted to ride it again, but the young girls were thrilled and rode it multiple times. I think it will become very popular starting tomorrow.

ウエッタンワイルドハワイに来るのは、今回で10回目ですが、いつきても最高に楽しいです。ハワイに来てプール？というひともいますが、やはり、最高です。特に今回は、ガイドさんもつきました。
ガイドさが、いうには、３日後にオープンになるあたらしいアトラクションももしかしたら、乗れるかも、、とのことでした、
どうかな、と思いながら、いってみたら、乗る？とスタッフにきかれ、YES！といい、乗ることが出来ました。めちゃくちゃこわくて、ほかの既存のアトラクションとは全然違いました。怖くて、わたしは、二度と乗りたくないとおもいましたが、若い娘は、喜んで何回も乗っていました。次回から、だ明日人気になるとおもいます。

It was cloudy all day, with occasional light rain, and it felt a bit chilly, so the conditions were not ideal. However, the staff lent us wetsuits, took photos on the boat, helped us find turtles, and really lifted the atmosphere. I had a very enjoyable time, so I would like to visit again on a sunny day.

この日はずっと曇りで、時々小雨もぱらつき、肌寒く、コンディション的にはハズレでしたが、スタッフの皆さんがウェットスーツを貸してくれたり、船上で写真を撮ってくれたり、カメを見つけてくれたり、場を盛り上げてくれました。
とても楽しい時間が過ごせたので、また晴れた日に再訪したいです。

They came to pick me up earlier than scheduled. After signing some documents, we moved to a few other pickup locations and then headed to Diamond Head. Once everyone gathered, the guide started. I only understood about half of what was said, but it seemed like most of it was jokes. Everyone except me seemed to be native English speakers. However, it was no problem at all if you couldn't speak. The entrance fee and reservation for Diamond Head were handled by Veltra, so you can get in without doing anything. I was dropped off at the entrance of Diamond Head around 8:40, received a bottle of water, and was told to be back by 10:30.

The hike to Diamond Head takes about 30 to 40 minutes one way. There are many bumpy areas and stairs, so I recommend wearing sneakers. It can be quite windy and relatively cold at the top, so having a light jacket might be a good idea.

After coming down, I relaxed on a bench and looked at souvenirs. I was a bit anxious when the return pickup didn't arrive on time, but I thought, "This is America, so it’s probably normal." You also receive water on the way back, which you can decline if you don't want it. The drop-off location can be either the pickup spot or your hotel if it's nearby.

I gave a $10 bill as a tip, which seemed to be the average amount based on what I saw from other participants. I joined as a solo male traveler, but I wasn't singled out or anything; it was a straightforward and nice tour. If you can understand some English, this option is cheaper than a Japanese guide with tips included, so I think it's sufficient. For those who can use Lealea, it's easy to go that way. If you take The Bus, you get dropped off in front of the tunnel, so there's quite a bit of walking, but it's cheaper.

予定の時間よりも早く迎えに来てくれました。書類にサインして、他のピックアップ場所へ何箇所か移動して、ダイヤモンドヘッドへ。全員集合すると、ガイドが始まります。半分くらいしかわかりませんでしたが、ジョークが大半だったような気がします。私以外は英語ネイティブっぽかったです。でも喋れなくても全く問題なしです。ダイヤモンドヘッドの入場料や予約はベルトラがしてくれますので、何もしなくても入れます。8:40くらいにダイヤモンドヘッドの入り口で降ろされて、お水渡されて、帰りは10:30にココ！と言われました。
ダイヤモンドヘッドへのハイキングは片道だいたい30〜40分くらい。ガタガタのところや階段も多いので、スニーカーをおすすめします。上の方は風がとても強くて、割と寒いので、薄い上着あるといいかもしれないです。
降りてきてからは、ベンチに座ってのんびりしたり、お土産みたりしていました。
帰りは時間通りに迎えが来ず、少し不安でしたが、アメリカなのでそんなもんだろうと。
帰りも水を渡されます。要らなければ断れます。降ろす場所はピックアップ場所か、泊まってるホテルが近ければ送ってくれます。
チップは余っていた10ドル札を渡しました。他の参加者を見ててもそのくらいが平均かなと思います。
男1人で参加でしたが、特にいじられることもなく、さっぱりしていて、いいツアーだと思いました。
多少英語が聞き取れれば、日本語ガイドチップ入りよりも安いので、こちらで十分だと思います。
レアレア利用できる人はそれで行くのが楽です。ザ・バスで行くと、トンネルの前で降りるので割と歩きますが、安いです。

The boat didn't sway much, and I didn't get seasick.
For lunch, we had spam onigiri and miso soup (there were also chips and coffee).
I encountered sea turtles once or twice, but the water wasn't very clear, so I couldn't see them well, and they swam away in no time.
I appreciated that there were announcements in Japanese. It would be easier to go if it were a bit cheaper.

船はあまり揺れず、船酔いもなし。
ランチは、スパムおにぎりとお味噌汁でした。（ポテチやコーヒーもあり）
ウミガメは、1〜2回遭遇しましたが、水の透明度があまり高くないのでよく見えず、あっという間に泳いでいってしまいました。
日本語の案内があるのはありがたかったです。もう少しお安いと行きやすいですね。

At Five Star Dinner, there used to be a hula dance show, but now it's gone, and it's just jazz and piano, which was different from what I expected, so I was disappointed. The price is high, so I couldn't help but think, "Is this worth this price?" Also, the shuttle bus was playing old videos, and it hasn't been updated.

ファイブスターディナーでは、基本的にフラダンスのショーマ行っていたのに、今は無くなっていてジャズ？とピアノだけで、思ったのとは違ったので残念でした。お値段も高いので、これでこの価格かぉと思ってしまいました。また、シャトルバスも、昔のもののビデオを流していて、リニューアルができておりませんでした。ex)Twitter表記など。

Hanauma Bay is still a beautiful place to visit! The reef is home to such a beautiful variety of colorful fish, sea urchins, & coral. A must see for anyone visiting Oahu!

There was a Japanese-speaking staff member, so I didn't have any anxiety about communication throughout the tour! I wasn't able to see dolphins, but I was informed that I could join the same tour or a tour from the same company for free within two weeks. After that, there might be a discount percentage, but I'm not sure how much... I don't remember until when it applies.

The experience was very enjoyable, but the weather was a bit bad on the day, and the waves were high, so the snorkeling wasn't in very deep areas. It was fun!

日本語対応の日本人の方がいらっしゃったので終始言葉による不安はありませんでした！イルカが見られなかったので、代わりに2週間以内は同じツアーだったか同じ会社のツアーだったかが無料で参加出来るとの事でした。それ以降は何パーセントoffとか？らしいです、、、いつまでだったかは覚えてないです💦
内容はとても楽しかったのですが、当日少し天気が悪く波が高かったのでシュノーケリングはそんなに深いところではなかったです。楽しかったです！

The sandbar is simply beautiful. It was my first time paddleboarding, and I had a lot of fun. My husband and I rode a kayak surrounded by the beautiful sea and sky, and we felt so happy. During snorkeling, we were able to see many fish and turtles, and the staff who taught us spoke Japanese, making the explanations clear and thorough, which we appreciated. The drinks, snacks, and spam onigiri were all delicious.

SUPは初めてでしたが、とても楽しかったし、カヤックに夫婦で乗り綺麗な海と空に囲まれてhappyでした。
シュノーケリングでは、たくさんの魚や亀に会うことができて、教えてくれるスタッフの方も日本語が話せて、説明がわかりやすく丁寧でありがたかったです。
飲み物やスナック、スパムおにぎり、どれも美味しかったです。

This time in Honolulu, I didn't plan anything in advance, so I searched for various information on-site.

I finally tried "Heavenly Ocean," which I had wanted to visit for a long time!

There were Japanese staff members and staff who could speak Japanese, so the explanations were easy to understand, and I felt安心して参加できました(^_^)

今回のホノルルステイは事前の計画を全く立ててこなかったんで、現地から色々と情報検索して探しだしました。

前から行ってみたかった「天国の海」に初トライ！

日本人のスタッフさんも、日本語を話せるスタッフさんもいたので、説明も分かりやすく安心して参加できました(^_^)

I originally wanted to go whale watching, but I heard that by April, most whales return to migration, so I chose to do a dolphin swim instead.

To my surprise, within just five minutes of departing the harbor, we spotted two whales breaching! They breached more than ten times, and the staff was just as excited as we were.

Instead of just searching for dolphins, they spent about 30 minutes chasing the whales, allowing everyone to see them, and we were able to capture great videos and photos.

After that, we successfully encountered dolphins, but it seemed there was a baby dolphin, and they were quite cautious, so we couldn't swim together.

The staff flexibly adjusted the program, making it a memorable activity for both my partner and me.

もともとホエールウォッチングがしたかったのですが、4月はほとんど回遊に戻ってしまうと聞いて、ドルフィンスイムを選んでいました。
なんと！港を出発して5分も経たないうちにブリーチングしている2頭の鯨を発見！
ブリーチングも10回以上していて、スタッフの方も大興奮でした。
本来はイルカを探しに行くところを、ここで30分くらい鯨を追ってくださったので、全ての人が見ることができ、動画も写真もバッチリ撮れました。
その後イルカとも無事遭遇できましたが、子供のイルカがいたらしく、警戒が強く一緒に泳ぐことは叶いませんでした。
柔軟にプログラム配分を変えてくださったので、夫婦ともども思い出深いアクティビティになりました。

Our guide was the best person we met throughout all the islands. He made this tour so personal and special, and was great overall.

Venue threw us off a bit at first, but seating was great and the show blew out of the water.

What a top-tier luau in a beautiful setting at Waimea Valley! Highly recommended

It was a great leaning experience of the beautiful Polynesian culture with a personal connection to the crew.

Lots of people on the boat, very busy but the team works very hard!

The transportation was smooth, and there were many staff members who could communicate in Japanese, so I was able to participate without any difficulties.

The content of the sandbar was also fulfilling, and we were blessed with good weather on the day, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful sea. The spam onigiri as a light snack was delicious!

送迎はスムーズで、日本語の対応できる方も多く、不自由なく参加できました。

サンドバーの内容も充実しており、当日は天気にも恵まれて、とても綺麗な海を楽しめました。

I woke up at 4:30 AM to join the Hanauma Bay tour. I was picked up at the Ilikai Hotel, and the night broke as we headed towards Hanauma Bay. I lined up as soon as the gates opened at 6:45 AM and got my entry ticket for 7:20 AM. I paid $25 in cash, watched an environmental video, and arrived at the beach around 8:00 AM. I put on the rented wetsuit and entered the sea. I encountered a large school of fish and lost track of time until my pickup at 11:00 AM! It was deeply moving to visit Hanauma Bay for the first time in five years since my visit before the pandemic!

４時半起きでハナウマ湾ツアーに参加。
イリカイホテルでピックアップしてもらい、ハナウマ湾に向かう途中で夜が明ける。
6:45の開門と同時に列に並び、7:20の入場チケットをゲット。1人25ドルを現金で払い、環境ビデオを見て、8:00頃ハナウマ湾のビーチに到着。
レンタルしたウェットスーツを着て海に入る。魚の大群にも遭遇、11時の迎えまで、時間を忘れて楽しみました！
コロナ前の訪問以来、５年ぶりにハナウマ湾を訪れることができて感慨深かったです！

I participated in the first bus trip during Golden Week. The bus was almost full. (I made the reservation about a month in advance.) There were not only Japanese people but also other Asians participating, so the guidance was provided in both Japanese and English.

On the day of the sandbar, the deepest part was around the groin, and the shallowest part was about knee-deep (I am 165 cm tall). We alternated with other passengers on the boat to do snorkeling and activities, and since we went snorkeling first, the staff kindly taught us how to wear the snorkel mask on the boat.

Snorkeling: I swam in deeper water than I had imagined. Of course, I couldn't touch the bottom, but since there were few people who couldn't swim, the guide accompanied them while swimming. I was very happy to see sea turtles (about 5 to 6 of them). They were swimming or staying in their habitat, and they were so big that it surprised me! The guide found the sea turtles and pointed out where they were.

Activities: Mainly, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) was the focus (there were fewer floaties, and I don't think there were any ZAYAK on the day of participation). SUP was difficult to balance, but it was a lot of fun.

There was plenty of time for both snorkeling and activities. The duration was just right—not too long and not too short.

The guides were bright, kind, and their explanations and stories were interesting, making it a wonderful experience. I had a lovely time. Thank you very much!

GW真っ只中の第1便に参加しました。
バスはほぼ満席です。(予約は1ヶ月前くらいにしました。)日本人だけでなく他のアジア人も一緒に参加していたので、日本語と英語の両方での案内がありました。

当日のサンドバーは、いちばん深いところで足の付け根あたり、いちばん浅いところで膝下くらいでした。(身長165cm)
他の船の乗船者と交代で、シュノーケリングとアクティビティを行う形で、先にシュノーケリングを行ったため(？)、船の上でシュノーケルマスクの付け方など丁寧に教えていただきました。
シュノーケリング：想像以上に深いところを泳ぎました。もちろん、足はつきませんが、泳げない人は(人数が少なかったためか)ガイドさんが付いて泳いでいました。
シュノーケル中に海亀(5〜6頭)に会えたのはとても嬉しかったです。泳いでいたり、住処にとどまっていたり、とにかく大きくて驚きました！ガイドさんが、海亀を見つけて、いる場所を教えてくれました。
アクティビティ：主にSUPがメイン(浮き輪の数は少なめ、参加日にZAYAKは無かった気がします)でした。SUPはバランス取るのが難しかったですが、とても楽しかったです。

シュノーケルもアクティビティも、充分時間があります。長すぎず短すぎずちょうどいい時間でした。

ガイドの皆さんは、明るく、親切で説明やお話がおもしろくて、とても素晴らしかったです。素敵な時間を過ごせました。ありがとうございました！！

The bus from the hotel to the site is average. The driver provided information for the return trip when we got off. He gave the announcements in English and Kansai dialect (laughs).

The boat has a toilet. I had to hold it in a lot during the manta tour on the Big Island, so this was a big help!

There are plenty of drinks available on board, even miso soup! There are also a lot of snacks. Only one rice ball per person, though.

During the initial snorkeling for those who wanted to participate, the crew guided us. They scattered food, so there were tons of fish. I saw more than ten turtles swimming around.

After that, we did stand-up paddleboarding. They told us to enjoy it until the last minute, so we played until just before heading back!

Most of the crew spoke fluent Japanese. There were also people with babies.

最初の希望者のシュノーケリングでは、クルーの方が案内してくれます。
餌を撒いてくれるので、めちゃくちゃ魚がいます。亀は10匹以上泳いでました。

その後サップしました。
ギリギリまで楽しんで！と言ってもらえたので帰りギリギリまで遊びました！

クルーの方、ほとんど日本語ペラペラでした。
赤ちゃん連れの方もいましたよ。

There are three slides for small children, but one has been closed for some reason for a week. The other one is for one person, so my child was too scared to ride it alone, and the last one was closed when we went. I thought it wasn't operating, but I was informed by a staff member just before closing time that it would open at 2 PM, even though it was supposed to be open until 3 PM. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it in time, and my child ended up crying because we were looking forward to it but couldn't ride any of them. I also saw other children who couldn't ride and were crying while their mothers were comforting them. We have a reservation to go again during our stay, but since it's within a week, I don't think we'll be able to ride them. If the schedule could be communicated on the website in advance, it would help us bring our child after explaining the situation, minimizing disappointment. Given the high expectations, I think the shock of this situation is significant for children. 😢 Lunch took a long time to be served unless you lined up early. Even though there were few visitors the other day, it still took a long time for some reason. 😥

小さい子ども用のスライダーが3つ有るのですが1つがなぜか1週間閉鎖との事。他の1つは1人用なので1人では怖がって乗れず、もう1つは行った際には閉鎖していたのでやっていないかと思っていたら3時までの営業なのに、なぜか2時まで閉鎖していて2時からオープンしていたと閉園時間の直前にスタッフの方から教えて頂いたのですが結局間に合わず楽しみにしていたのにどれも乗れずじまいで子供が泣いちゃいました。よそのお子さんもやっぱり乗れなくて泣いていてお母さんがなだめているのを見かけました。滞在中にもう一度行く予定で予約していますが1週間以内なのでおそらく乗れないと思います。事前にその辺のスケジュールをホームページでお知らせ頂ければ子供を納得させた上で連れて行けるのでガッカリも最小限に抑える事が出来るのになと思いました。楽しみが大きい分、その辺のショックは子供にとっては大きいと思いました😢ランチは早めに並ばないと提供にメチャクチヤ時間がかかりました。先日も来園者は少なかったのになんでかとにかく時間がかかりました。😥

The staff was amazing. So welcoming and so fun. They made us feel like family and took care of us the whole time. I highly recommend.

First of all, the water slide was more thrilling than I expected, and it was a lot of fun. The grounds were also very spacious, which gave a sense of openness. After arriving, the Japanese staff kindly explained various things, so I felt reassured and was able to participate without any worries. The all-you-can-drink option was also great, as there were plenty of varieties, including water, making it easy to enjoy.

One downside was that the lazy river and some of the water slides were out of service, so the two adults ended up having a bit of extra time on their hands.

まず、ウォータースライダーが想像以上にスリルがあり、とても楽しかったです。
敷地も非常に広いので、開放感がありました。
到着後、日本人のスタッフさんが丁寧に色々教えてくれるので、疑問点なども解決出来るので安心して参加できました。
ドリンクの飲み放題も、水を含み種類豊富だったので気軽に利用出来ました。

残念だった点としては、流れるプールや一部ウォータースライダーが運休していたので、大人2人では少し時間を持て余してしまいました。
