The food was pretty good. Much better than a couple other luau’s that I have been to in the area. They offered a plate with a little of everything or you could go through the line and pick only what you wanted. They had pulled pork, fried chicken, fried fish, salad, rice, asian noodles, cooked taro root, rolls and for dessert white cake with white frosting and pineapple chunks. They offered individually packaged condiments of ranch dressing, Tabasco sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, butter, as well as small cups of poi and pico de gallo.

We had the royal package and had great seats. The seating was set up in tables of 4. My husband sat side by side and another couple sat on the other side of the table. We had another table of 4 right next to us. The Covid seating restrictions have been relaxed significantly as of June 21st when we went.

The royal package benefits that the paradise didn’t get is drink service at the tables (paradise have to walk to bar), 3 free drinks, fresh orchid lei (paradise get nut lei), closer seating to stage, first to go to buffet.

We had a great time on the sunset cruise. The crew was awesome, and made our kids feel special!

Had a great time on the sand bar and snorkeling! The staff was extremely kind and entertaining. Would (and already have) highly recommend this to friends! Will definitely be on our list of must dos next time we are there.

It was indeed an outstanding experience doing this sunset dinner cruise with Star of Honolulu. We super enjoyed the 5-course dinner, the overflowing cocktails, the champagne and most of all the live music and cultural dances. You even made the journey more easy with your smooth pick up and drop off. All the staff were great as well! Special mention to Manager Rose for an excellent service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will be booking with you again when we come back. Aloha and Mahalo❤️

This was the best excursion ever. Staff was amazing

I was able to book a couple days in advance. It turned out tobe one of the most enjoyable days in oahu!! The staff made sure both my mom and I were comfortable the entire time. Mike checked in with us throughout the day and spent extra time showing my mom the basics of snorkeling. The lunch was fantastic too! I recommend this as a must do. If you want to see sea turtles and experience a beautiful sandbar with amazing views do this excursion. You won't be disappointed!!!

Everything was just amazing. Worth every single penny. The crew was so attentive, detailed, helpful, caring, and so much fun! I was the only one with kiddos and pregnant and they checked in on us constantly and helped without asking. Food was amazing. Loved everything about it!

that was an awesome tour ! The crew are very nice and helpful! I was very sacred of the ocean and Jason, our tour guide helped me get the best experience ever by assisting me with snorkeling and being by my side all the time.

We had such a great experience on this tour! Our driver was awesome. He was super helpful and explained all the changes due to COVID. They had our numbers on the list in case they needed to call us to make sure we got back on the bus. The city tour was just a quick drive by and no getting off the bus. It was the perfect amount of time to view everything. 2 hours was plenty of time for the memorial as well as the two museums available.

Amazing time!!! The staff was friendly knowledgeable and made sure we were all comfortable! We were in a smaller group so we got plenty of cage time! Would recommend this to everyone!!!

Everyone in the boat are amazing and professional peoples, they have a lot of knowledge, a spectacular adventure and especially because we swim with dolphins in their habitat without causing them stress. thank you for your incredible work

The actual tour was beautiful ! The company should be more accurate with boarding time so that customers aren’t waiting around for 45 minutes plus. Other than that I highly recommend, great crew, great service.

Went on captain bobs back in 2016 when I visited Hawaii and I just had to take my party this time around. Definitely will recommend to everyone I know and will be sure to book captain bobs again on my next trip to Oahu!

My family and I had such a great time. The staff were fun, knowledgeable, and friendly. We saw lots of sea turtles and fish while snorkeling. So many fun memories were made.

I loved the crew and the whole vibe the Cruise offered!! We had beautiful music playing and the sunset was gorgeous! If you’re looking for one of the best evenings you’ll have in Oahu, book this cruise without any reservations. It was easy to find. There’s a direct bus that goes from the Waikiki area and lands you on the basin where you’ll find your catamaran docked! Do it!

I was skeptical at the beginning but going to the cruise was a great decision. I don’t regret it. Entertainment was great and the food was awesome. Beautiful view. I would recommend it to anyone coming to Hawaii for vacation

After a 20 minute walk in the sun, we arrived just in time to board and were told it was cancelled. They did a refund but we were disappointed especially since everything else is booked weeks ahead of time.

Crew and staff of Cap'n Bruce's were amazing and welcoming, making everyone from kids to adults feel safe and comfortable, was so fun! The sandbar is exceptional and shouldn't be missed. I was surprised at how uncrowded it was. Highly recommended.

We chose this company because of longer time in the water with the sharks and smaller group size. it was worthwhile. It was fascinating to see the sharks so close, eye to eye, and being able to recognize different animals by their scars on their body and fins.
The crew was friendly, informative and very helpful, especially for the people with less snorkel experience. Definitely recommend it for an unforgettable experience on Oahu. Having a GoPro for rent was very helpful.

I can not recommend this enough!! If you are on Oahu it is worth the trip to Waimea Valley. This was my family & I's absolute favorite thing we did in Hawaii! It was incredibly personable, authentic, and overall an amazing luau. They were all very nice and made a point to come to every table and talk with all of the guests. They even went above and beyond by helping the table next to us and walking their baby around in the stroller so that they could eat their dinner. Everyone was in awe at how amazing the crew made this experience for everyone. They were truly enjoying teaching everyone about the Polynesian culture from the Polynesian Islands, and it made the experience that much better. Can not recommend enough! GO GO GO!

I was expecting to maybe see some sharks out in the distance, but this was up close and person with about 12 Galapagos sharks!
As soon as we reached the site the sharks were already there because they have been conditioned to think they are getting food.
Our guides Erin and Jordan were amazing! Very down to earth and even gave us some recommendations on where to grab a bite to eat afterward.
This was by far the wildest thing I have ever done and HIGHLY recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Lani our guide was very informative and personable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys movies. The scenery is spectacular!

This luau had some really good food. The drinks were ok but could be better. I had gone to a different luau and had our own table so when they told we're sitting with others I was surprised but wasn’t bad. Also the benches could use some cushion. By the time the show started my butt was already hurting.

Very humble experience to witness the oil seeping from U.S.S. Arizona after all these years. The video was very informative.

The experience was far better then we could have imagined. This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone was so nice and did a great job at guiding and explaining everything. You truly get to enjoy every moment and not feel rushed. We were super surprised we got to see so many sea turtles, we were not expecting to see any so that was such a nice surprise. I would highly recommend this tour.
