This is my first Luau in Hawaii and my boyfriend and I absolutely enjoyed it! The location was spot on. We loved the location, since it was in front of the beach. The venue gave us a tropical vibe. When it came to the food I wasn't too sure if I would enjoy the kalua very much because I am not a porky person. However, after seeing my boyfriend eat the kalua I gave in and tried it myself. Surprisingly it was quite delicious! Too be honest, the food at Germaine's was spot on! Despite the salad, I wasn't to fond of it. Other than that, it sort of reminds me of L&L's lol. I love the idea of giving each person a ticket for one free drink, I thought that was a nice gesture. My favorite part of the evening was the fireshow and the show's overall! The dancers, story, history, and the people were all beautiful. My only wish was that their were more males show haha. I mean, I love the hula girls but where are the mens! Overall, I will definitely come back here with my friends and families..venue, food, and the experience did not disappoint at all. Thank you Germaine's for your great hospitality! Aloha, Cece

Aloha Cece, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at our family luau. I'm happy you took the chance and tried our "Kalua" or roasted pig, that was cooked traditional way in our underground oven, called an "Imu". It does have a different taste when it's cooked that way. Our salad is made real "local" style, usually macaroni & potato together, and similar to L&L but glad you enjoyed everything else overall. We have added a few more male dancers, as several of our male dancers are also in the Military reserves so not always available. We hope you will return one day and visit us again!! Great way to spend the day.

We had a great time on secret island. We were running late for our scheduled time and they allowed us to reschedule. We felt it was cost effective since we had access to chairs, stand up paddle boards, and Kayaks. Overall, we would recommend.

Royal Star Pearl Harbor Experience with Tickets to Arizona Memorial & City Tour

Excellent City Tour and Pearl Harbor visit, especially with Tony as the escort. We had a timely pick-up, and learned a lot about the history of Honolulu and the island of Oahu in general. Tony was not only informative, but humorous and personable. He provided great tips on how to navigate the Pearl Harbor tour. Highly recommend!

From start to end this was a great day on the water! We had a great crew that operated the sandbar excursion flawlessly. On our day we had a bit of rain, however this did not prevent anyone from having fun. The food was great as well as the bar service. I was skeptical at first booking from an online site but I'm glad I did! Although we went for the cheaper route our seats were great! Check in was a breeze. No issues getting in. I heard a lot of positive reviews from this luau, unfortunately bc of covid some of the activities I was looking forward to were not available. Still a good show! Would book with them again

AMAZING TRIP!! Definitely worth it!!

We took the free transportation that was offered, which was great.

Got to the boat and quickly got out in the bay. We had TONS of time at the sand bar. I recommend bringing a floatie or ball of ton want. We joined in with the volleyball they brought which was so fun! We stayed there during lunch so when we were done eating we went back out.

Saw more sea turtles than I can count! Even saw some on the sand bar.

Snorkeling we had plenty of time and all equipment was provided.

Definitely one of the best excursions we did while there. We definitely do it again!

We loved this snorkel experience from beginning to end! The staff was friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable with the ocean, fish and answered all our questions. The food was delicious and even the hot chocolate was yummy. When we go back to Oahu in the future, we will do this particular cruise again. I recommend it to everyone of all ages.

We had a great time on Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch tour! Everything about the trip was well planned and very organized! The sandbar was a great experience because you are walking in shallow water in the middle of a bay!! The snorkeling was my favorite part. The reef that we snorkeled on was crescent shaped. Being the crew did such a great job of watching us - I was able to swim around the entire sight without being in fear of danger. It was such a peaceful experience! I even had a turtle swim right under me! I he was just about a foot underneath! The lunch was perfect and delicious. It was cooked right on the boat while we were on the sandbar!
A need touch that I appreciated was that they had laundry baskets underneath the seats on the boat. We kept out belongings in them and this kept them from getting all wet and sandy!

It was pretty nice, overall, nothing spectacular or anything, but it is about what we expected. They have a greeting when you board and do pictures and hula dancers. Everyone is super nice and cool. Then they will seat you at your table, as you are immediately presented with salad with cheese and crackers, with non alcoholic champagne. As soon as they shove off, you will do a toast. They will then start taking orders for drinks and then soon bring out your lobster (which is a FULL lobster!) There will be singing and entertainment the entire time, with dancers as they showcase each Polynesian island just like the Luaus do. They then bring out your steak, which is just a tiny sirloin steak and very raw/undercooked. So make sure you tell them a head of time to cook it to your liking. I didn’t do this and never eat rare streak, so it made me very sick later that night. Also, I noticed we only received two drink tickets not three. But the drinks are free (I think you can order more and just have to pay for it.) Then they will bring out your dessert after your meal. You are free to move around the boat and take pictures and videos as well through out the cruise. It goes by very fast and next thing you are back to the dock to debark. The sunset was very nice and we all took pictures on the top deck. At the very end, as it’s getting closer back to the dock, they sort of turn it into a dance-club style. Everyone is dancing to modern songs until you debark. Overall, it’s pretty cool and fun and the food was great! You will be very full too!

As a family of four with two teens, we had an excellent time with Mike and his team! The pickup site at aloha landing at Sheraton Waikiki was easy to find and they were on time at 9:15 am. It was a short trip to kaneohe Bay and then we transferred to the boat to the sandbar. When we arrived it was fairly breezy, the water was about mid thigh. For those with sensitive feet good to bring slipper socks and since a bit cool, a long sleeved rash guard was helpful. We explored the sandbar which is 6 mi long and there was a volleyball as well. The lunch was super delicious hamburgers, beans, chips and drinks. We saw a few turtles, then headed to the reef. Two of us snorkeled And we were given snorkel gear, flippers and life vests. We were given about an hour or maybe less but it seemed ample time to go around the entire reef! We saw a lot of fish! When we got back on the boat they poured warm water on us and we also drink hot chocolate which was nice. Two in our family stayed in the boat and they still enjoyed watching from the boat, plus they took our pics so that was nice. Everyone was courteous, great customer service. I would definitely go again when we come back to Oahu!!

I booked this dinner cruise for myself and my 10 year old. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the live entertainment. My 10 year clapped, danced and participated from his seat when the audience was asked to join in during the entertainment. I would definitely recommend.
