The crew was amazing! Best experience ever! Enjoyed the lunch and Sandbar was my favorite.
We had 8 of us and we all had a great time , the staff is excellent and the burgers and beans were bomb , thanks for great day in the water , we will be back next time we visit the island.
It was a great time to bring my wife to this show. She had never been to a luau before and this was a great experience. The food was standard pre-prepared fare but the entertainment was excellent.

Our food is a variety of island favorites, with some Hawaiian style prepared dishes, however, we're sorry you felt it was standard. When you're preparing food for such large numbers, it may not be up to your standards. It sounds like you enjoyed the evening overall, and for that I'm happy. Great time had by all! Great for 7 year olds! The fresh water shower when coming out of the ocean was a special touch. It rinsed the salt water from my hair and suit before returning to dry land! Good food too! Best meal I’ve had on one of these trips!

We very much enjoyed this trip to the sandbar, with perfect weather, crystal clear ocean, and amazing views everywhere you look. We saw sea turtles and lots of fish when snorkeling at a beautiful coral reef. We would very much like to do this again sometime, potentially bringing additional friends or family.
The staff was awesome (Mike, Ezekiel, the captain and the lady who was in charge of the food and snorkel equipment). They were hospitable and entertaining. The time spent at the sandbar and snorkeling was perfect and not rushed at all.
Our day on the water was so much fun. The kids made friends, the lunch was delicious, and they even took time to spend with our 5 yr old to help her get comfortable with her equipment out in the water. Would definitely do again.
My husband and I chose to book this as our date night while we were on vacation with our family while my MIL stayed at the hotel with the kids. We also purchased the shuttle with our tickets and we're staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village...we almost, along with another couple missed the bus because the front desk at the hotel told us the "bus stop" was outside the hotel..and we were at the literal "bus stop" for The Bus, but we luckily called in enough time to realize it was in the tour group stand below the hotel (crisis averted). The bus was quick and getting onto the boat was quick and painless. They sat us right always and appitizer were at the tables waiting. Our server was prompt in taking drink orders and bringing food. Food was good! We were NOT expecting a full lobster lol and had to figure out what we were doing with it. We weren't quite sure about the show at first as the announcer was a little old/shaky but as it progressed the show was great. I especially appreciated that they had dancers at different parts of the dining room Floor so no matter where you sat you could see it. This was a racier show with a little more suggestive hip rolling than the Luau we attended earlier in our trip but we thought it was great! There was an amazing rainbow over Diamond head and the sunset was beautiful.
Crew members were great! We had a great time. The location for snorkeling was amazing.

Every staff member was very friendly and professional. They helped us with everything we needed. Activities on cruise & sandbar was fun and enjoyable.
My kids loved the sandbar & learning how to snorkel there. And the best part is that they serve you lunch and have beer for sale.
We had a great experience and will likely do it again when we return to Oahu.
We did a total of 3 excursions in Hawaii and this was by far the best one! The sandbar was such a unique experience, lunch was super yummy, and there was ample time for snorkeling. They even had a makeshift freshwater rinse at the end and hot drinks to keep us warm on the way back. 100% would do this excursion again. Thank you to the whole crew for an amazing time!

Excellent food, great entertainment, impeccable service from bus pick up to dinner up to drop off. I booked this dinner cruise in lieue of luau which was already sold out. I’m so glad that we did the sunset cruise instead. We had a great time and just perfect for our last night in Hawaii. Will definitely be back again.
My family really enjoyed Chief's Luau. The staff was very attentive and helpful and the show was awesome! We really enjoyed our experience and would go back again when we visit Honolulu in the future.
This is my first Luau in Hawaii and my boyfriend and I absolutely enjoyed it! The location was spot on. We loved the location, since it was in front of the beach. The venue gave us a tropical vibe. When it came to the food I wasn't too sure if I would enjoy the kalua very much because I am not a porky person. However, after seeing my boyfriend eat the kalua I gave in and tried it myself. Surprisingly it was quite delicious! Too be honest, the food at Germaine's was spot on! Despite the salad, I wasn't to fond of it. Other than that, it sort of reminds me of L&L's lol. I love the idea of giving each person a ticket for one free drink, I thought that was a nice gesture. My favorite part of the evening was the fireshow and the show's overall! The dancers, story, history, and the people were all beautiful. My only wish was that their were more males show haha. I mean, I love the hula girls but where are the mens! Overall, I will definitely come back here with my friends and families..venue, food, and the experience did not disappoint at all. Thank you Germaine's for your great hospitality! Aloha, Cece
Aloha Cece, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at our family luau. I'm happy you took the chance and tried our "Kalua" or roasted pig, that was cooked traditional way in our underground oven, called an "Imu". It does have a different taste when it's cooked that way. Our salad is made real "local" style, usually macaroni & potato together, and similar to L&L but glad you enjoyed everything else overall. We have added a few more male dancers, as several of our male dancers are also in the Military reserves so not always available. We hope you will return one day and visit us again!! The show was very entertaining. We loved it especially our kids. The food was excellent as well. We can’t wait to be back.
The staff made sure everyone had a great time. They were kind, courteous and overall amazing. A must do with this company.
We had a great time on secret island. We were running late for our scheduled time and they allowed us to reschedule. We felt it was cost effective since we had access to chairs, stand up paddle boards, and Kayaks. Overall, we would recommend.
Excellent City Tour and Pearl Harbor visit, especially with Tony as the escort. We had a timely pick-up, and learned a lot about the history of Honolulu and the island of Oahu in general. Tony was not only informative, but humorous and personable. He provided great tips on how to navigate the Pearl Harbor tour. Highly recommend!
Not enough equipment to use. Hard to wait in line which does not give you enough time to enjoy the activities.
The crew was amazing, but day on Oahu hanging with the Captain Bob’s crew! Great time at sand bar, delicious lunch, seeing so many turtles and then snorkeling! Had an amazing g time and will definitely book with them again when returning!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This cruise was the best attraction since a luau was not available. The singing, the food and entertainment was great. I would do this cruise again in a hear beat.
We enjoyed the crab and steak. The show was awesome and we all danced. We will come again next trip
From start to end this was a great day on the water! We had a great crew that operated the sandbar excursion flawlessly. On our day we had a bit of rain, however this did not prevent anyone from having fun. The food was great as well as the bar service. I highly recommend Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch Boat Tour.
We all had the best time!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and the show. Wish the show went on longer but had a wonderful time. It was the highlight of our trip.
We took the free transportation that was offered, which was great.
Got to the boat and quickly got out in the bay. We had TONS of time at the sand bar. I recommend bringing a floatie or ball of ton want. We joined in with the volleyball they brought which was so fun! We stayed there during lunch so when we were done eating we went back out.
Saw more sea turtles than I can count! Even saw some on the sand bar.
Snorkeling we had plenty of time and all equipment was provided.
Definitely one of the best excursions we did while there. We definitely do it again!
Awesome cruise for the price. Food was not that great but the entertainment provided on cruose is amazing and ofcourse you get to catch the best sunset
We loved this snorkel experience from beginning to end! The staff was friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable with the ocean, fish and answered all our questions. The food was delicious and even the hot chocolate was yummy. When we go back to Oahu in the future, we will do this particular cruise again. I recommend it to everyone of all ages.
