I participated in March, and on that day, the guide mentioned it was colder than winter. Indeed, it was tough on the boat without something to wear over. Of course, the sea was cold as well, but I joined the snorkeling. Instead of snorkeling individually, everyone lined up and swam back and forth. With that many people, I suppose it can't be helped. Next time, I want to join on a day with better weather and also consider the tides. On that day, the water level was up to my knees.

3月に参加したのですが、この日はガイドさんが冬より寒いと仰ってました。
確かにボートのうえは、羽織る物がないと辛かったです。　勿論海も寒かったですが、シュノーケルにも参加。各自テキトーにシュノーケルではなく、みんな並んで列を作って泳ぐ→戻る。あれだけの人数がいたら仕方ないのかと思いますが。次回はもっと天気の良い日、また潮の満ち引きも考えて参加したいです。この日は膝した位まで水位ありました。

I participated with a friend.
We didn't see any whales.
Therefore, they were distributing re-boarding tickets towards the end of the cruise (it's a system where you have to go get it yourself, so be careful not to forget!).

Although we didn't see any whales, I had fun just being on the boat!!
However, since it was just simple scenery unless any creatures appeared, I noticed a few children looking bored.
It might be a bit tricky for those with small children...

After disembarking, there was someone who seemed to be the captain, and I was able to take a photo with him (＾V＾).
I was grateful that he was friendly and posed for the picture.

友人と参加しました。
クジラは見られませんでした。
そのため、クルーズの終わりごろに再乗車券を配布していました（自分でもらいに行くシステムなので忘れないように注意！）。

クジラは見られませんでしたが、私は船に乗るだけで楽しかったです！！
しかし、生き物が出ない限り単純な風景が続くだけなので、退屈そうにしているお子さんがチラホラいました。
小さいお子さんがいらっしゃる方は微妙かもしれません…

下船後、船長さんらしき方がいらっしゃったので一緒に写真を撮っていただきました(＾V＾)
気さくに写ってくださってありがたかったです。

As the title suggests, whether you can see a jump depends on luck at that moment. After waiting for two hours, I finally caught a glimpse of a dorsal fin and saw it spouting water, but I couldn't help but wish to see a more spectacular sight like in the photos. Still, when I spotted it, I was simply thrilled to see it!

Also, if you are prone to motion sickness, it's definitely better to take some medication beforehand. (I usually don't get motion sickness, but I felt a bit queasy...)

I might have just been unlucky, but I think it's better to approach it with the mindset of "I might see a whale during the cruise, how lucky!" rather than "I will definitely see a whale!"

If I could wish for something, it would be great to have more events on the boat, like experiences with Hawaiian instruments, songs, the meaning of hula dancing, and how to move your hands, etc. There seems to be a lack of connection with the participants.

タイトル通りです。ジャンプが見られるかどうかはその時の運次第。
2時間待ってようやく海面から背びれがちらっと、潮を吹いているのが分かったという程度でしたので、思わず、写真のような姿が見たかったなぁと思いました。それでも、見つけた時はいたー！と単純に嬉しかったです。
また、乗り物酔いをする方は絶対に酔い止めを飲んでおいたほうがいいです。（普段乗り物酔いしない自分が少ししましたので。。。）
自分はたまたま運が悪かっただけかもしれませんが、「絶対クジラを見る！と意気込んで行く」というよりは、「クルーズ中にクジラが見えた、ラッキー」という感覚で行くくらいがちょうどいいかなと思いました。
欲を言えば、船の中でイベント毎がもっとあるとよかったです。例えばハワイの楽器体験・歌・フラダンスの意味・手の動かし方等々。参加者との連帯感にかける所がある。

This was my second experience.

This time there were waves, and many people got seasick. Thank you to the crew for handling the situation.

Unfortunately, despite the captain's search efforts, we weren't able to see any dolphins. Last time, we were able to see dolphins multiple times... But it's nature, so it can't be helped. However, the ukulele live performance and dance on board were very lovely.

二回目目の体験でした。

今回はうねりがあり、船酔いの方が続出でした。
アロハを処理するクルーの皆さん、ご苦労様でした。

キャプテンの捜索努力も実らず、イルカに会うことはできませんでした。
前回は何回もイルカと会うことができたのですが・・
自然相手ですから仕方ないですね。
でも、船上でのウクレレライブとダンスはとても素敵でした。

次回に期待します！！（＾＾）

I was anxious about whether I would get to see dolphins, but I was very happy to encounter not only many dolphins but also a whale! Since it was January, it was so cold that I had to wear a wetsuit to enter the sea, so I thought it would be good if the rental fee for the wetsuit, which is $10, was included from the start. The water was very clear, and I also got to see beautiful fish. From the boat, we even spotted a sea turtle!

After meeting the dolphins, we enjoyed activities like slides and snorkeling, making the most of our time in the ocean! For lunch, we had delicious cheeseburgers made by the captain! We all had a great time singing and dancing together, and the staff really made the experience lively and fun. Since I went to Hawaii for my honeymoon, I wanted to participate in something memorable, and I'm glad I did!

Lastly, I paid $60 for the photos, but I was a little sad that there were only two types of photos from underwater ( ; ; ) I wish they had offered a bit more variety (laughs).

イルカに会えるか不安でしたが‥実際にたくさんのイルカにはもちろんのこと。クジラにも出会えてとても嬉しかったです！！1月なのでとてもウェットスーツを着なければ海に入れない寒さでしたので、料金の中に最初からウェットスーツレンタル代の10ドル込みで良いのでは？！と思いました。海の中はとても透き通っており、綺麗な魚にも出会えました。船の上からはウミガメにも出会えました＊
イルカに会った後は滑り台やsap等のアクティビィティも行え、海遊びを堪能できました！！
お昼ご飯はキャプテン手作りのチーズバーガー、美味しかったです！！みんなで楽しく歌ったり、ダンスをしたり、
スタッフの方々がとても盛り上げて下さり、とっても楽しい時間が過ごせました。今回、ハネムーンでハワイに行きましたので、何か思い出に残る体験がしたいと！思いから参加しました。参加して良かったです♡
最後に‥写真代60ドルを払ったのですが‥海の中の写真が2パターンのみというのが少し悲しかったです（ ; ; ）もう少しアピールをすればよかったです（笑）

I had an amazing time!
It was easy to catch the waves!
The slides were also a lot of fun.
I wanted to play even more.
There were quite a few Japanese people, so we chatted about whether we rode this or that.
The surfing experience seemed difficult.

すんごく楽しかった！

もっともっと遊びたかった。
日本人が結構いたので、コレ乗りました？とか話しながら。
サーフィンの体験は難しそうでした。

Excellent Crew involvement, Breakfast was good. No Whale sighting due too choppy water and high winds.

We took this tour to honor fallen military as we were all veterans. Also it was my brothers 40th wedding anniversary. It was very moving at Pearl Harbor and the drive up to the Punchbowl Cemetary was the icing on the cake. So much history on such a small island!!

Loved it!!! Most Perfect wedding ever! The staff was amazing, dinner, everything was wonderful. Highly recommend this. Thank you so very much, loved it all. Cheryl

I was fortunate to be surrounded by friendly staff, and I was able to visit the beautiful Heaven's Beach. It was a place I had wanted to go for a long time, and it truly was wonderful.

気さくなスタッフの方たちにも恵まれて、とっても幸せな天国の海に行くことが出来ました。天国の海には前から行ってみたくてやっと行けた場所が本当にすてきでした。

The food was good, the music was great, the entertainment was great, but I wish I would have purchased the better package. We were in an area with a bunch of younger tourists and we felt out of place.

We participated with our family of four, including elementary school students. We were worried about seasickness, but it was quieter than we expected, and we were totally fine. We saw a lot of sea turtles, and at the snorkeling point, there were many beautiful fish! The water at Angel's Beach came up to our knees, but it seemed like the kids were able to practice snorkeling, which was great. For lunch, the kids happily made their own hamburgers. However, it was cold when we got out of the water. But we warmed up with the hot cocoa that was provided. I recommend bringing a thick hoodie and a bath towel.

家族4人小学生を連れての参加でした。
船酔いを心配してましたが思ったより静かで全然大丈夫でした。海ガメもたくさん見れたし、シュノーケルポイントでは綺麗な魚がたくさん見れました！
天使の海は膝まで水がきてたけど、子供たちはシュノーケルの練習もでき良かったようです。
お昼のハンバーガー思い思いに作って子供たちは喜んでほうばっていましたね。
ただ海から上がると寒かった。でも用意して下さった温かいココアを飲んで持ち直しました。
バスタオル巻き巻き厚手のパーカーあたりを持って行くことをお勧めします。

This tour was very enjoyable. Even though we didn't get to see but one whale. The captain and crew made every effort to locate them. And we did encounter a whale but the whale didn't want to entertain us which is no fault of the crew. The boat ride itself was nice and relaxing. I would definitely do it again.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary last December 17, 2016 aboard the Star of Honolulu Sunset dinner cruise and it was a very memorable experienced we had. The ship was clean, foods were very good, staff are super friendly and attentive and the emcee and dancers are spectacular. Everyone participated either with singing or dancing. It's was just plain AWESOME, Thank You.

I flew from Los Angeles to celebrate a best friend's birthday in January 2017, and made up another friend's and my own birthday (in November). I treated my friends and myself with the Five Star - Luxury French Cuisine with Live Jazz. It's was a great evening with the hula dancer's Happy Birthday song to my friend, the waiters cordial and professional service, delicious meal, conversation/fellowship time, pianist and jazz music performance which was very interactive with the guests, and nice view of the Sunset, Wikikki hotel "forest" and Diamond Head. Everything was perfect! Absolutely loved it. And it's a great and memorial experience for my friends, too! Thank you all for serving us!

My husband and I participated with our 3.6-year-old. As per the information provided, we brought towels, warm clothing, and motion sickness medication, and boarded the bus without a changing area (the wet suit rental didn't fit). I was worried about getting seasick and snorkeling in deep water for the first time, but the care from the staff completely alleviated my concerns! They said the hamburger was amazing. We swam with dolphins and fish, and also saw a humpback whale and a turtle. I was moved to hear the dolphins' voices in the video! We also enjoyed the slide, trampoline, and stand-up paddleboarding, so it was definitely a fantastic experience!

小3.6年と夫が参加しました。情報があったとおり、タオル、防寒着、酔い止め持参して、着替え場所無しでそのままバスにのりました。(ウェットレンタルはサイズ合いません)
酔いやすいのと、初めて深い海でのシュノーケルが不安でしたが、それを吹き飛ばすスタッフさんのケアにに大満足！！ハンバーガー最高と言ってました。イルカ、魚と泳げ、ザトウクジラとカメも見れました。ビデオに、イルカの声が入ってることにも感動！！滑り台、トランポリン、SUPもでき、大満喫間違い無しです！

I participated in the tour during my honeymoon.

Due to the timing, there were about 30 participants in the tour. The guide's explanations were bright, making the tour enjoyable.

Since we were informed in advance to wear swimsuits, we were able to smoothly enter the sea. It was a bit chilly because it was the rainy season, but there were warm drinks available after returning to the boat, which was a relief.

The air conditioning on the return bus was a bit strong, so I recommend changing properly after getting out of the sea.

ハネムーンで参加しました。

時期もあり、30名前後でのツアーとなりました。
ガイドの説明が明るく、つターが楽しくなりました。

事前に水着着用の連絡があったため、スムーズに海に入ることができました。
雨季ということもあり、少々海が冷たかったですが、船に戻ってから温かい飲み物もあり、助かりました。

帰りのバスが、少々エアコンがきいていたので、海に入った後は、きちんと着替えることをお勧めします。

I was glad that I could sign up at the last minute. It was really beautiful. However, I felt a bit disappointed that the day I participated was cloudy, but I was happy to be able to join.

直前に申し込み可能で助かりました。凄く綺麗だった。ただし参加した日が曇りで少し残念の気持ちがあったが、参加できて嬉しかったです。

I was worried because it was the rainy season, but the water clarity was the best during the trip, and I was able to see dolphins right in front of me.

Above all, I had a great time from the bus ride there to the return trip. The staff were kind and attentive, yet had a relaxed vibe that suited us perfectly. There were many foreign tourists as well, which really made it feel like we were in Hawaii! It was truly enjoyable.

雨期ということもあり心配していましたが、海の透明度も旅の中で1番良くイルカを目の前で見ることができました。
そしてなにより、行きのバスから帰りまで、ずっと楽しかったです。
スタッフさんが優しいし、丁寧なのに、ある程度ゆるい感じが私達にはぴったりでした。他のツアー客も外国人が多く、ハワイに来てる！って感じで本当に楽しかったです。

I couldn't see the dolphins, and although I was supposed to eat a hamburger on the boat, there weren't enough, so I ended up eating at the port after getting off the boat. We didn't have many photos of ourselves from the purchase, and I felt like I missed out.

イルカには会えず、船上でハンバーガーを食べれることになっていましたが、数がたりないということで、船をおりてから港で食べました。購入した写真も自分たちの写真はあまりなく、損した気分になりました。

I participated in a long-awaited tour to swim with dolphins during my trip to Hawaii. I have snorkeled a few times before, but swimming with wild dolphins was a first for me, and it was truly moving.

The weather was nice, but since it was February, it was a bit cold even with a rented wetsuit. I think it's a good idea to prepare for warmth and take motion sickness medication.

On this tour, I was lucky enough to see not only dolphins but also whales and sea turtles. The staff on the boat made it really fun with music and hula dance shows, so I had a great time. It became a wonderful memory of my time in Hawaii!

I definitely want to participate again the next time I come to Hawaii.

今回のハワイ旅行で念願のイルカと泳ぐツアーに参加しました。シュノーケリングは今までに何度かしたことはありますが、野生のイルカと泳ぐのは初めてだったので、とても感動しました。
天気は良かったですが、2月だったのでウエットスーツをレンタルしても少し寒かったです。
防寒と酔い止め対策は確りとしておいたほうが良いと思います。
今回のツアーでは運良くイルカだけでなく、クジラやウミガメも見ることができたし、船の中では音楽やフラダンスのショーでスタッフの方々が楽しく盛り上げてくれたので本当に楽しかったです。ハワイでの良い思い出になりました‼
次にハワイへ来るときも是非参加したいと思います。

It was a tour of about two and a half hours. There were explanations about whales in Japanese, and we were able to see whales as well. Since there is a meal included, I think you can enjoy it while taking breaks.

約２時間半ほどのツアーでした。
日本語でのクジラの説明等もありながら、クジラも見ることができました。
食事もあるので、休憩しながら楽しめると思います。

All was good, only thing that could improve is the lunch. Spend at least $10 per person on lunch

Beautiful cruise overlooking the Waikiki beach front. The buffet was good with plenty of variety and tasty food. wonderful on board entertainment with passenger participation wife has a bad knee and the crew went out of their way to get a wheelchair and move around to and from the bus to ship to the bus.

It was my first time going to Oahu n I was really excited to go on STAR OF HONOLULU n I absolutely loved it so much That I am already planning to come back again this year...

I was so excited to see whales and I wasn't disappointed! Guaranteed indeed.
We saw a few pod of whales and it was always entertaining to watch them swim by and see their blows. I actually saw one that threw its tail out of the water up close when I was heading to the restroom, but very quickly that no one noticed it I think. I just got lucky, haha!
It was a nice cruise, great customer service from the crew, delicious food, and gorgeous views of the Waikiki coastline and Diamond Head! There were fun activities on board too like lei making, ukulele lessons, and hula lessons. I really enjoyed the trip! I was with a group of friends but as a mom, I would definitely recommend this for families with young children as well, it's a great activity for all ages so anyone are welcome!

We participated as a couple in our 40s. We arrived at the port in no time while laughing at the guide's broken Japanese jokes on the bus ride there. When it was time to split into two boats, they asked for preferences between a Japanese-only boat and an international boat. Since it was a special occasion, we chose the international boat. That said, the woman who guided us was Japanese, so we felt reassured. The BBQ lunch was truly delicious, just as the reviews said! After the meal, the male guide entertained us with his beautiful singing while playing the guitar. There were some lucky people who encountered a sea turtle while snorkeling. We could only see it from the boat, but it was a very satisfying tour.

40代の夫婦で参加しました。行きのバスでのガイドさんの片言日本語ジョークに大笑いしながらあっという間に港に到着。二隻の船に分かれる際、日本人のみの船とインターナショナル船に希望を募ってくれました。私たちはせっかくだからとインターナショナル船へ。とは言え案内してくれた女性は日本人だったので安心でした。BBQランチは口コミ通り本当に美味しかった！！食後はバスでガイドをしてくれた男性がギター片手に美声を披露してくれました。シュノーケリング中にウミガメに遭遇することができたラッキーな人もいましたよ。私たちは船上からしか見えませんでしたが大満足のツアーでした。

I booked a plan without pick-up. The check-in location listed on the voucher is the Paradise cruise office, but in reality, there is no such office, so you need to check in at the Stat of Honolulu reservation office.
The breakfast isn't particularly delicious, but I was able to enjoy warm dishes and coffee.
About two hours after departure, we spotted a whale just 20 meters from the boat! We were lucky to see it.
Since the boat is quite large, positioning is also important.

送迎無しのプランを予約。バウチャー記載のチェックイン場所はParadise cruise officeとありますが、実際にはそんなオフィスは無く、Stat of Honolulu reservation office にてチェックインを行うので注意が必要です。
朝食は大して美味しくありませんが、暖かい料理とコーヒーを楽しめました。
出発から2時間ほどすると、船から20メートル先にクジラが！！運良く見ることができました。
船はかなり大きい為、ポジショニングも大事になると思います。

The scrambled eggs were a bit hard, I felt (^_^;)
But it was great to see the whales, and my family was happy!
The whales were amazing, and the scenery was incredibly beautiful; I was moved!
