On our honeymoon in early December, my husband and I went to see a famous rock show in Hawaii on our last night, the fourth night of our trip (＾＿＾)☆ The show took place on the fourth floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center, where we enjoyed a service that included toasting with drinks and eating fruits and nuts in a stylish VIP room before the show started! The lunch burger was very delicious! It was great to have a foreign staff member playing the guitar and singing while we were out on the ocean! Also, I was able to see a sea turtle while snorkeling. It was the first time I saw one up close! Yukiko, the Japanese female staff member, was friendly and wonderful, and I was able to thoroughly enjoy the tour.

I was looking forward to snorkeling as well, but since everyone was in a small area, I kept bumping into different people, and the time was really short, leaving me feeling a bit unsatisfied.

I watched my first hula show in Hawaii. Since I had the chance, I opted for the green room package with dinner. It included welcome champagne in the green room, a commemorative photo with the performers, a backstage tour, and a course meal. I think it's quite affordable at under $200 compared to other hula shows. The explanation during the backstage tour was all in English, so there were parts I didn't fully understand. I was able to watch up close, and I could feel the heat from the fire dance. I would love to participate again if I have the opportunity.

We participated as a couple. Unfortunately, it rained, but it stopped around noon, and we were able to have a great time. The lazy river and wave pool were spacious and enjoyable even for children. The thrill rides were unlike anything you would find in Japan, and the Tornado ride was so intense that I felt like I might fly off if I let go of the handles. Those who are not good with thrill rides should really be cautious. For those who find regular pools unsatisfying, I highly recommend it. Additionally, there was a spa pool next to the lazy river, which was warm like a hot spring. Since we participated during the chilly rainy season, it was very much appreciated by me as a Japanese person. We chose a plan with unlimited drinks on the tour, and it worked by showing the staff the band we wore on our arm to get our drinks.

I did notice that there seemed to be fewer staff, as we could only use one of the attractions next to each other for 30 minutes at a time. Other than that, it was very exciting and satisfying. I also recommended it to a friend who is going on their honeymoon next time.

あとはスタッフが少ないのか、隣同士のアトラクションが30分交代で１つしか利用できないのだけ気になりました。それ以外はとても刺激的で満足でした。今度新婚旅行へ行く友人にもオススメしました。

I enjoyed both the Hawaiian dance and the impersonations, and I felt like I got a great deal! Additionally, I was able to participate in photo opportunities after the show, so I had a wonderful time even at a low price.

The food and drinks were very good and the location is very beautiful. The Chief was very funny and the whole show was very entertaining- great hula dancers and exeptional fire dancers. If you are staying on Oahu, do yourselves a favour and go see the Chiefs Luau - you won't be disappointed.

You can enjoy sea activities and turtle watching at the sandbar after moving 3 points by boat, as well as snorkeling. The turtles were especially cute. We split into two boats, one for Japanese guests and one for international guests. Onboard, we had a hamburger lunch, and after snorkeling, warm drinks were provided. The boat was comfortable, equipped with restrooms, and there was no worry about theft of valuables. However, on bad weather days, it might be a bit cold after snorkeling. Since it can be chilly when wet, a beach towel is essential, and it would also be good to have a towel to sit on during the bus ride back. If you're lucky, you might swim with turtles; on the day we participated, some people did swim with them. I was looking for a hula dance show and found this one based on the great reviews.

I chose the VIP plan, which included a dinner course. We enjoyed a course meal at our table before watching the show. The shrimp and meat were both incredibly delicious and there was plenty of food. The staff was also very kind.

We were able to watch the show right from our seats in the front row. The hula dance was very cute and glamorous. The fire dance was also very impressive.

Not only was there hula dancing, but there were also performances by Michael, Elvis Presley, and Celine Dion. There were many songs I recognized, and it was so much fun. Everyone clapped along and got really into it. I think it’s highly recommended for both women and men. Michael was really a look-alike, and he sang beautifully, which made it enjoyable.

I truly had a wonderful time. After the show, I was able to take photos with Michael, Celine Dion, and Elvis Presley. It felt like I met stars.

I definitely want to go again when I come back to Hawaii. I highly recommend it.

Polynesian Cultural Center Tour Ticket - Full Day Admission, Dinner & Show

Amazing experience

It was the first activity out of four planned for our week. Everyone of us really enjoyed our day here at the PCC this was due to our tour guide mostly but all who were involved were also great. We had the best lunch at pounders and again the dinner was to die for. The breath of life show was an amazing experience. We definitely would recommend this to everyone we know. I went to Sandbar, which I had wanted to visit for a long time, for my honeymoon. I joined this tour because I wanted to enjoy not only the ocean but also the pool in Hawaii. It was a bit far from the center of Waikiki, so the round-trip shuttle service was very helpful. Additionally, since it was an all-you-can-drink plan, I only had to show the coupon on my wrist to get drinks, which was very convenient as I didn't need to carry my wallet.

Inside the park, there were about ten large water slides. The scale was larger and the thrill factor was higher than at Toshimaen in Tokyo. However, perhaps because it was a less crowded time, the slides were not operating continuously during the park's opening hours and would sometimes pause. Therefore, I recommend riding your favorite slides while they are open. We played for about three and a half hours starting from 10:30, which allowed us to go on each slide twice. You cannot bring drinks or food into the park, so you will need to purchase lunch inside. Ultimately, we started changing around 14:00, took the bus back around 15:00, and were dropped off at the nearest bus stop around 16:00. You can expect the total time commitment to be from morning until evening.

Regarding the park's facilities, there are two sizes of lockers, and we rented one large locker for the two of us. It was big enough to fit about two large tote bags, and once you rent it, you can access it as many times as you want, so I recommend renting one. The large locker cost $18. 　パーク内の設備に関して以下で説明します。ロッカーはサイズが二種類あり、私たちは二人で大きいロッカー一つを借りました。大きな手提げが二つくらい入るサイズで、一つ借りてしまえば、何度でも出し入れできるので、借りることをお勧めします。大きいロッカーは１８ドルでした。また更衣室はシャワールームが４つほど、カーテン付き更衣室が８つほどありました。
　大人はもちろんのこと、家族連れの方も子供用のプールもあったため、楽しめると思います。のんびり海も素敵ですがスリリングな経験もしたいという方はぜひ、参加してみてください。

Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise – 5-Course Steak & Lobster Menu, Polynesian Show & Live Music

My overall experience aboard the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise ship was fantastic! I went with my 7-year old son and he had a blast as well. His favorite part of the evening was going up and down the stairs from one deck to another exploring. And my favorite part was... the view of the Hawaiian sun disappearing behind the endless horizon. :)

We chose the all-you-can-eat crab dinner, and it was literally “all-you-can-eat!” The spirit-of-aloha-filled staff member was cruising along the dining area asking who else would like some more crab legs until the guests could not say a "yes" any more. The quality of food and entertainment were superb.

It was my first cruise dinner, so I did not know what to expect. A funny jokes-filled driver picked us up in a luxury motorcoach bus and upon arrival to Aloha Tower, an elegant staff representative escorted us to the ship. The tables were set beautifully with an orchid in the middle of the dinner plate.

I would definitely recommend this experience both to tourists and to those who live in Hawaii!

I was a bit anxious about participating with my 3-year-old and 7-year-old children, but we had a great time!

Since the reviews here were helpful, I wanted to write in detail as a thank you.

Check-in was at 8:30, so we arrived on time, but it turned out that the reception started at 8:30... arriving at 8:50 was totally fine.

The location is the beach at Outrigger Hotel. The nearby beaches are connected, so it seems fine to walk along the beach.

Everything was in English, but there were also Japanese instructions, so there were no issues. It didn't seem like they were saying anything too complicated.

The crew was kind and polite, so I had no worries. Plus, all of them were incredibly handsome. It was quite a treat for the eyes.

After setting sail, we arrived at the spot shortly after. We jumped right into the water. And immediately saw turtles! We spotted about four at once! One of the crew members stayed with our family and supported the kids, so we were able to enjoy it for a solid hour.

The kids got tired, so we got back on the boat, but it was cold during this season. It was also drizzling on and off, so warm clothing is essential. We brought two bath towels, a hoodie, and a light jacket, but having one more bath towel might have been better. Since we got wet, one towel for warmth would have been useful.

After that, we went sailing, which was super fast and felt like jumping! This was also very exciting.

Drinks were around $2 to $5. We could choose from beer, juice, and more. We paid after arriving, including tips.

In any case, we saw a lot of turtles! With the beautiful sea and the handsome crew, it was an incredibly fun experience! It wrapped up quickly in the morning, so I was satisfied with how we spent our time!

チェックインは、0830だったので、間に合うように行きましたが、0830からの受付って事だったのですね…0850で全く問題無かったです。

場所は、アウトリガーホテルのビーチ。近辺のビーチは、繋がっているので、ビーチつたいに行っても問題なさそうです。

言葉は全て英語。案内は日本語もあるので、問題ありませんでした。
難しい事も言ってなさそう。

クルーも優しく、丁寧ですし、心配無かったです。そして全員がイケメンすぎる。
目の保養感半端ないです。

出航し、少ししたら、スポット到着。
すぐに海に入りました。
そしてすぐにカメさん！
4匹くらい一気に見れました！
家族に一人のクルーが付いてくれ、子供達をサポートしてくれたので、
しっかり1時間ほど楽しめました。

子供達が疲れたので船に上がりましたが、
この時期は寒い。
雨も降ったり止んだりなので、防寒は必須です。
我が家はバスタオル2枚、パーカー、羽織で行きましたが、バスタオルはもう一枚あった方が良かったかも。
濡れてしまうので、1枚防寒用に。

その後はセーリング、すごいスピードで、ジャンプするように！こちらも大興奮でした。

ドリンクは、2ドルから5ドルくらい。
ビール、ジュースなど選べました。支払いは到着後、チップと合わせて払いました。

とにかくカメさん沢山見れました！綺麗な海と、イケメンクルーで、最高に楽しかったです！
サクッと午前中で終わるので、時間の遣い方としても満足しました！

Thanks Jason for making our day a memorable one. The places we visited, the spots we stopped at and the information imparted by you was great.
The Polynesian Cultural Centre was worth this visit and more as we couldn't fit everything into 1/2 day. The students from the university were very grateful to their visitors but we were grateful to them for sharing their various cultures with us.
Dinner was great and the Breath of life show was superb.

Oahu Island Guided Tour, Waimea Waterfall Swim & Dole Pineapple Farm

A day filled with fun for the entire family!

Even though I am not a tourist and have lived in Honolulu for almost three years, the circle island tour with Polynesian Adventure Tours was amazing to say the least. I had already been to most of the places we visited on the tour, but on that day I saw the island in a different light. Nothing like learning about Hawaii from a native Hawaiian guide! He was a human encyclopedia of information and facts. Culture, history, flora, fauna, movie set locations—he knew it all.

What specifically impressed me is when our guide talked about Captain Cook’s death. Many sources say that this European sailor might have been eaten by the natives. Our guide shared, however, that Hawaiian people never practices cannibalism. After Cook’s death his body was treated the same way a body of a local chief would be treated—the flesh was burnt but the bones remained intact for further burial. So, upon requesting their captain’s body, Cook’s team was issued a bag of bones, which made them automatically assume he had been eaten.

I would highly recommend the circle island tour to anyone wanting to see Oahu’s beautiful nature and also learn more about its history and culture. This tour will definitely broaden your horizons. I am thankful I had the opportunity to go!

I applied from Japan and was looking forward to it. However, the pickup scheduled for 9:00 did not arrive even after 20 minutes, and after confirming by phone, we waited another 20 minutes. The pickup finally arrived 40 minutes late. Moreover, the staff who came to pick us up didn't apologize at all and had an attitude as if to say, "Hurry up!" After arriving at the pool, we were inexplicably made to wait for nearly 15 minutes on the bus, which was extremely frustrating. How about improving your timing and organization a bit? I won't be using this service again.

ただ９時にピックアップの予定が２０分過ぎても迎えが来ず、電話確認をしてからさらに２０分。

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Spirit of Aloha!
The departing location is very convenient and we could just walk from our our hotel. The check-in was fast and after we boarded the Captain gave us a safety briefing and we started the sail.
The appetizers were good, they have a small buffet line with wings, meatballs and dried snacks. The bar has a selection of draft beer, champagne and cocktails and the prices are very reasonable. Watching the sunset in Hawaii listening to good music, cocktails and friends was the highlight of trip. The views from Waikiki are amazing and at this time of the year, after the sunset we still got to sail under the starts and it was very relaxing. Make sure to include this cruise on your next trip to Hawaii!

Hilton Waikiki Starlight Luau with Fire Dancers, Hula Show & Dinner Buffet

My friends and I had a great time at the Waikiki Starlight Luau!
The location is very convenient and we could just walk from our our hotel. Once we arrived the check-in was fast and we had a friendly staff greeting us with a Hawaiian lei and a welcome drink, nothing better than start the night with a Mai Tai! The food was very delicious and I love the variety of the food, specially the salads. It's great that they have a station specially for the kids.
The show was wonderful, full of delightful performances. My favorite part was the fire knife dance and to learn more about the other Polynesian cultures like Tonga, New Zeland, Samoa and Tahiti.
I would for sure come back to the this luau!

This was a great experience starting from the pick up at our hotel. Larry our driver was very welcoming and he made the bus ride fun and was full of information. We have been to Honolulu before but really enjoyed the information and the opportunity to hear about Hawaii history. The Punch Bowl was made interesting by our driver Larry who provided lots of details that were new to us. When we arrived at Pearl Harbor he made sure that we knew where to go and when to be there. We were the only ones doing the Mighty Mo tour so again he made sure we knew what to do and when. His estimations of the times for the activities were spot on. The towel service was much appreciated after climbing the ladders of the Missouri. Thanks for the great experience.

2.5-Hour Waikiki Guided Turtle Snorkel Tour, Snacks & Drinks - Holokai Catamaran

Great Trip - Cool staff - Would do it again!

Perfect way to spend an afternoon in Waikiki! The Catamaran was fun by itself, but then snorkeling with the Turtles made it even that much better. When we decide to travel to Hawaii again, we will definitely do this trip again. Great value for the money.

Whatever your preferences are, you'll probably only have one chance in your life to see Elvis perform live on stage with a group of talented Polynesian dancers. Throw in a pretty great luau dinner and you can begin to see why this show is so popular. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the artists that were featured that night, but it is still really entertaining to see a group of people so devoted to their craft. I highly recommend this for couples staying in Waikiki.

Seeing Oahu Like Never Before

This was a simply breathtaking afternoon. Oahu is extremely varied, with cliffs, valleys and beaches, alternating between shades of blue, green, white and red. You don't really notice it from the ground, but seeing it all from high above has given me a new appreciation for the island. Our pilot made us feel safe and secure the entire time, and the chance to do an exciting landing along a narrow ridge at the top of Ka'a'awa Valley only made the experience that much more incredible.
