Before participating, I was worried about whether I would be able to see whales, but once I saw them, I was able to see them multiple times with some intervals in between, totaling about eight times. I was able to see the whale's tail, body, head, and spouting. I really feel like I was lucky. The whales came close to the boat, so while I was chatting with my kids and family inside the boat over fruits and coffee, someone would shout, "Ah!" and at that signal, we could rush to the window and see the whales up close. I took photos and videos with my smartphone, but the excitement of seeing the whales with my own eyes was truly exceptional.

This is a great activity for all ages! The crew are very friendly and accommodating and the excursion is very well organized. We saw several large turtles and one juvenile turtle! The best thing about this excursion is not only do you have the chance to snorkel with lots of turtles, but the crew takes you out for a sail where you can enjoy cocktails onboard. Really great way to end the perfect tour!

Recommendation: if you are strong swimmer, you should consider renting fins to dive down and get a closer look at the turtles!

Beautiful Catamaran the Holokai takes you just out from Waikiki beach out into Turtle Canyon, so many turtles as soon as we got in the water I was absolutely amazed! Excellent, helpful, fun staff. Drinks & snacks on board to purchase very reasonable in price. Excellent Snorkel equipment provided. Will do it all again next time I’m in Waikiki for sure!!!

Staff are nice. Lunch was simple but tasty. When we went there, sandbar was not very low tide and we had rain. So most people stayed at the boat as it was too cold being in the water. Snorkel was nice. It was nice that the staff are watching us for safety when we were in the water. We had to wait for return shuttle for 30 min as there was some misunderstanding between the transportation company and the tour company. While waiting for our shuttle, We saw puffer fish at the marina where boat launch/stay. It was nice surprise.

I visited at the end of the year. It was easy to get around since there was a bus from the hotel with a shuttle service.

The park isn't very large, but it's a treasure trove of water slides. You can enjoy thrilling slides that you can't experience in Japan without waiting in long lines.

The pool water was quite cold, which surprised me at first. However, the kids seemed to get used to it quickly.

One downside was that I had to wait quite a while to order lunch. There were various menu options, but I was told that only set menus were available when I tried to order. The bus pickup was at 3:15 PM, so I wanted to play a bit longer, but lunch took quite a bit of time. However, since outside food isn't allowed (they check bags at the entrance), we had no choice but to eat there.

I think if you buy lunch early or adjust your timing, you can enjoy your time there more effectively.

お昼は早めに買うなど、時間をずらすと上手に遊べると思います。

It seems that the sandbar doesn't appear every time! It looks like you can only stand on the beautiful sandy beach during low tide, and that information wasn't provided. Just before arriving at the sandbar, I was told that I could go in up to my knees today! I was looking forward to standing on the sandbar, so it was disappointing.

Also, it mentioned that there would be a BBQ lunch, but it was just hamburgers, beans, and snacks! I was imagining meat and seafood, so I was very disappointed. I felt quite let down by participating in this tour.

I was also shown backstage, where I had the fun experience of standing on stage and wearing costumes for memorable photos. Then it was time for dinner. I had a seat right in front of the stage, and luxurious dishes were served one after another. After enjoying the delicious desserts, the show finally began. The performances featured Elvis, Michael, Katy Perry, and many others, providing entertainment for various generations, along with traditional hula shows and fire dances. The quality was high and truly wonderful. Even after the show, Michael and the others took photos and signed autographs, making it a fun experience until the very end. The staff's service was also excellent, making for a pleasant and wonderful time.

There are various pools, so both children and adults enjoyed themselves. The management is really thorough, so it seems like there won't be any injuries or unnecessary troubles, which provided a sense of security. However, considering the travel time and costs, it might be more enjoyable once the kids are in elementary school or older. With preschoolers, there are height restrictions that can be disappointing.

There were three adults and three children (ages 7, 5, and 1). We were able to check in without any crowding, and the crew's service was good, just like last time. However, the main attraction, the whales, were only spotted about three times from a distance, with just their spouts and backs visible. It seemed that the children didn't find it very interesting. The adults might be satisfied with the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea, but it seems the children would have preferred something more engaging. However, I think they would have been excited if we could have seen the whales up close.

We went as a couple. There were many families there. The slides were of a type that you don't find in Japan, and they were a lot of fun. All the slides were easy to ride on. The summer beds were available in the morning, but by around noon, they were all taken. Since we went during New Year's, it was cold. After getting out of the pool, it was chilly, so I think it's better to bring a rash guard. They sell them at the shop at the entrance, but the selection is limited. Since it was a round-trip bus, it was easy to just sleep the whole way. I definitely want to go again when I visit Hawaii during a warmer season!

Last time, it was quite crowded since it was during summer vacation, and we could only ride four types of slides, plus the ground was hot and walking was tough. Our entire group, including a friend with cebral palsy, had an incredible time! The crew taught us what we needed to know & provided us with everything we needed to have a great time except towels. They knew just where to go for us to see sea turtles!!!! We also saw several schools of colorful fish. We even had an impromptu boat party with music, snacks, drinks, pirate & viking hat! It was one of the best parts of our Hawaiian vacation! Worth every penny! If we come back to Hawaii, they will definitely be apart of our vacation plans!! Thank you Holokai crew

Absolutely amazing time! The crew of the Holokai was great! They provided everything needed for our snorkeling adventure, they knew just where to go to see wondrous underwater life, and everyone aboard saw sea turtles as well as several different schools of colorful fish!!! They knew just where to go! Such a great value for our money! Sun, music, snacks, sails, water, and beverages. Woohoo! If you must pick one activity while in Hawaii, this is it! Easy transportation from the hotel with a shuttle service.

I woke up early, but it's disappointing that I couldn't see any whales. When you can't see them, you can get a re-boarding ticket, but the period is too short. Since I went on the last day of my trip, it ended up being a waste of money. My kids were also disappointed, which made me sad. I wonder if it's really true that there's a 95% chance of seeing them. If I ended up in that remaining 5%, that's just too unlucky.

We were the only Japanese people on the tour. I couldn't understand Japanese, and I didn't know what the captain was saying, but it was okay, haha.

The tour description mentioned that they would lend us fins, but they only provided snorkeling gear and life jackets. I think the tour details need to be updated. Everyone else around us brought their own fins! It was fine without them, though.

Before boarding, they took photos (which they later sold for $20).

Once we set out, we encountered a pod of dolphins!

There was only one snorkeling spot. We got to swim with five big turtles! If you have a GoPro, the staff will dive down to take pictures of the turtles for you.

We enjoyed drinks (for a fee) while listening to music and having fun. They said that if you jumped into the sea, beer was free! But it was too cold for me to do that.

We hesitated until the last minute about the BBQ lunch plan, but we felt that our three kids wouldn't eat much in front of the pool (they would be too focused on playing), so we opted for a plan with transportation only and bought hot dogs to eat ourselves. We brought our own water, so lunch cost about $10 per person. We had checked reviews in advance, so we observed the store (there was only one) and decided to have lunch around 11:30 after we arrived. There are tables and benches in front of the store. There was a bit of a line after 12:00, but it wasn't as long as we expected, though it might depend on the season. By the way, my daughter ordered pizza, but it seemed she didn't like it much and hardly ate any.

Now, for the activities:
Both kids and adults can enjoy it!! The pool with regular waves was a hit with our family!! Our four-year-old son also had fun riding on a float. 初めてのウェット～だったので、
オプショナルツアーで行くのが確実かなと夫婦で話し合い、
思い切って申し込みました。


まずは【昼食】
ギリギリまで昼食ＢＢＱ付プランも迷いましたが、
子どもたち3人がプールを前にしてお腹いっぱい食べないような気がして(遊びに夢中になって)、あえて送迎付きプランのみにして自分たちでホットドッグを買って食べました。
昼食代は水を持参していたので、１人約１０ドルぐらいでした。
あらかじめこちらで口コミをチェックしていたので、
お店(１店舗だけでした)の様子を見ながら、
ついてしばらくして１１：３０ぐらいには昼食タイムにしました。
お店の前にテーブルとベンチがあります。
１２時以降はちょっとした列ができていましたが、
時期にもよるのでしょうが、
思っていたよりかは並んでいませんでした。
ちなみに娘はピザを頼みましたが、口に合わなかったみたいでほとんど食べませんでした。


そして、【アクティビティー】
子どもも大人も楽しめる！！
定期的に波が起きるプールは家族ではまりました！！
４歳の息子も浮き輪に乗って楽しみました。
子どもの年齢に応じて様々なゾーンがあるのでいいですね～。
今回は友人家族ときていたので、
小学生の娘や息子は交代しながら友人家族とウォータースライダーを楽しみ、
私たち夫婦も４歳の息子を友人家族に見てもらって、
スライダーを楽しむことができました。
家族だけだったらきっと２人と３人で分かれて遊んでいたかも…と思います。



私は１２月３０日に利用しましたが、
老若男女遊んでいました！
強いて言えば、私には水が冷たく感じました～( ;∀;)
風もあったからかな。
天気のいい日に行ってみたいです！
