I was looking forward to the thrill of the American sliders, and it was just as exciting as I expected! It was a lot of fun!

I opted for the full package, but I found out that the bodyboard lesson wasn't included, and the bodyboard pool required an additional fee. I had heard from the guide on the day that it was included, so I was a bit confused. (There was no refund, so was it not included?)

Lunch was so plentiful that I couldn't finish it all!

I chose the lowest-ranked buffet, so I'm not sure if that's why the food was just okay. I didn't go for seconds. They do dance the hula at the end, but since they perform at the same level rather than on a stage, it was hard to see. I wish they would create a stage. It felt like it wasn't worth the price. The crew members were kind, though.

Since it was my family's first time in Hawaii, I looked for a tour that would allow us to quickly experience Hawaii. It can be difficult to participate alone, but we had a great time together as a family. We chose a course that included three dishes and came with photos, and the food was delicious, with plenty of portions that left us full. We got to see hula and dances from other islands, and at the end, the staff who served us joined in the dancing, which seemed to be a lot of fun for the kids. Of course, the sunset viewed from the ocean in Hawaii was beautiful, and while it may be cliché, I feel like we truly enjoyed the Hawaii that matched our expectations.

We dressed up as a family of three and participated. We started with unlimited cheese, followed by salad, appetizers, soup, lobster, steak, and cake, enjoying a full-course meal. We reserved a window-side seat with champagne, and the view was wonderful. We were also free to go out on the deck to take photos, capturing moments of the rainbow and sunset. During the show, we enjoyed hula and traditional Hawaiian dances, and to wrap it up, everyone in the audience stood up to sing and dance to YMCA! Most of the audience were Westerners, but since it was the YMCA covered by Hideki Saijo, which we all know well, it was a lot of fun! I would love to participate again if possible.

I was picked up by a large bus near my hotel in Waikiki and arrived at Heeia Harbor (which apparently was one of the filming locations for Pirates of the Caribbean) in just under an hour, where I boarded one of the catamarans. From there, Yukiko, a staff member from Japan, provided a thorough and reassuring guide. First, we arrived at a sandbar and practiced snorkeling in the shallow waters with white sand. In the background, we could see Kualoa Ranch, used in the filming of Jurassic Park, and Chinaman's Hat, with Yukiko taking plenty of photos against this backdrop. After playing for a while, it was lunchtime. The BBQ-style hamburgers were delicious, and eating them on the sunlit boat was the best! After the meal, the boat moved to a spot where we could see sea turtles. We encountered quite a few sea turtles and manta rays before heading to the final point. Snorkeling around a coral hill the size of a soccer field was a bit daunting for me, but I saw many fish underwater. I heard there are sea turtle nests here, but I didn't get to see them. After snorkeling, we received warm drinks and returned to port. Looking back, it felt like it went by in a flash, but I was able to experience so many new things! I enjoyed the pleasant breeze and the blue sky with the Hawaiian flag fluttering on the boat. I'm really glad I participated in this tour!

ワイキキのホテル近くで大きなバスにピックアップしてもらって1時間弱でHeei’wa(?)のハーバー(パイレーツオブカリビアンのロケ場所の一つだったらしい)に到着してカタマランの一つに乗船。ここから先は日本スタッフのユキコさんが丁寧に案内してくれて安心。まずサンドバーに到着して白砂の浅瀬でシュノーケリングの練習。後ろにはジュラシックパークの撮影で使われたクアロアランチやチャイナマンズハットが見えて、これをバックにユキコさんがバンバン写真を撮ってくれる。暫く遊んだ後はランチタイム。BBQ仕立てのハンバーガーは香ばしくて日光が降り注ぐボートの上で食べるの最高！食事の後ボートは海亀が見れるポイントへ移動。結構な数の海亀とマンタに出会えて、いよいよ最後のポイントへ。サッカーグラウンドほどの広さがある珊瑚の丘の周りをシュノーケリングするのは初めての自分にはちょっと勇気がいったけど水中には沢山の魚が見れた。ここには海亀の巣穴もあるらしいけど会えなかった。シュノーケリング終えて温かい飲み物をもらって帰港。振り返ってみるとあっという間だったけど、いろんな(しかも初めて！)体験ができて、海風にたなびくボートに掲げられたハワイの旗をなびかせる心地よい風と青い空を楽しめて最高！このツアーに参加して良かった‼︎

I visited on the second day after arriving in Hawaii.
I recommend this for those who want to feel the essence of Hawaii.
I tend to get seasick, but I had no issues at all.

The food was delicious, and I was able to indulge in a whole lobster, plus it came with steak, so I was quite full.

The scenery was also very beautiful, and if you're lucky, you might see a rainbow.

During the meal, we enjoyed music and hula dancing, which was a lot of fun.

At the finale, everyone danced and sang (laughs).
Most of the Asian guests were just sitting and eating, so there was no pressure to join in the dancing.
Whether you want to dance along or just enjoy the atmosphere, you can participate comfortably.

It became a wonderful memory.

I was a bit anxious about whether the pickup location was correct since it was also the trolley bus stop and a pickup point for other tours, but I felt reassured when a staff member wearing a T-shirt that said "Angel's Sea" came to greet us.

The boat had a mix of Japanese and other nationalities, but we had a Japanese guide who provided all the explanations in Japanese, which was great. Angel's Sea was incredibly beautiful—like a different world. Standing in the middle of the ocean and being able to walk around was amazing! The weather was nice, and the contrast between the sea, mountains, and sky was stunning. Playing beach volleyball at Angel's Sea was a lot of fun. Later, during the sea turtle watching, we were able to see many sea turtles, and a manta ray even came close to the boat.

The highlight was definitely the last snorkeling session, where I encountered sea turtles and was able to swim with them. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time snorkeling, but the guide at Angel's Sea provided a briefing, and we practiced breathing and swimming, so it was fine. Even a toddler who was crying during practice was amazed by the beautiful coral and fish once we actually went snorkeling. Even if you think you can't do it, I recommend trying to get in the water just to see, as you’ll be wearing a life jacket.

On the way back, there’s time to change on the boat, so bringing a wrap towel for kids allows for changing on the deck. The air conditioning on the bus was very strong, so I think it’s better to change. The hamburger for lunch was the best one I had during this stay, as they grilled the patty right on the boat!

ピックアップ場所がトロリーバス乗り場でもあり又他のツアーのピックアップ場所でもあり此処で良いのか？と不安でしたが、天使の海と日本語で書かれたTシャツを着たスタッフが迎えに来てくれた時には安心しました。
船は日本人とそれ以外の国の方との混載でしたが日本人ガイドさんが付いてくださり全て日本語での説明だったので良かったです。天使の海最高に綺麗でした。別世界です。海の真ん中に立って歩けるなんて！天気も良かったので海・山・空のコントラスト最高に綺麗でた。天使の海でのビーチバレー凄く楽しいデス。その後海亀ウォッチングでは沢山の海亀見ることが出来てマンタも船のそば迄来て見る事が出来ました。
何と言っても最後のシュノーケリングでは海亀と遭遇し一緒に泳ぐ事が出来ま
した。シュノーケリング始めてだったので不安でしたが、天使の海でガイドさんがレクチャーしてくれてそこで呼吸の仕方や泳ぐ練習ができるので大丈夫デス。幼児の子も練習の時は出来ないと大泣きしてましたが、実際シュノーケリングし
たら綺麗な珊瑚や魚に感動していました。出来ないと思ってもライフジャケット付けてるので海に入って見るだけでも挑戦した方が良いと思います。
帰り船の中で着替える時間があるので子供が使う巻きタオルを持参するとデッキ等で着替えが可能です。往復のバスの中は凄く冷房が効いているので着替えた方が良いと思います。ランチのハンバーガー船の上でパテを焼いてくれてこの滞在の中で食べたバーガーで1番美味しかったです！

We chose the sunset cruise. Upon arrival we were a bit concerned about the surf as it was pretty rough for this time of the year. I asked the captain about it, and he said they would have no issue. We left the harbor, and the waves were pretty good size. The boat cut through them with no issues. The boat is a good size, about 35' x 55', and we were able to get up and walk around and take some great pictures. We took our own cocktails, and the crew had an ice chest to store them. The crew was very friendly, and the cruise was very relaxing. it was the best money spent while on our vacation.

We participated with two adults and two children aged seven. Since we can't speak English, we hoped there would be Japanese staff, and we were pleased to find that there were indeed Japanese staff members. The explanations for activities like snorkeling were provided separately in Japanese and English, which made us feel very comfortable participating.

In particular, Yukiko, the Japanese staff member, was very kind to us. Thank you very much.

We were thrilled to see many turtles from the boat, and during snorkeling, we were lucky enough to encounter a turtle and swim together for a while. The hamburgers for lunch were also very delicious.

It was truly a satisfying tour. If we have the opportunity, we would love to participate again.

I went with my 13-year-old son, my 10-year-old daughter, and my 68-year-old parents, making a total of six people. There were many local children, and while we were waiting in line, they casually talked to us and recommended other attractions. The woman who provided transportation between the hotel and Wet 'n' Wild was also easy to talk to, and thanks to her advice, we were able to have a meaningful time.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time at chief’s luau. The Chief was so funny and they all put on a great show! You could really feel the warmth of his personality shining through his speech and his humor made everything great. Tons of fire dancing, singing, story telling, and more dancing all around. Great food and great people to share the experience with. Felt like you were still in paradise. Definitely recommend purchasing close up seats and the lei package so you can get the full experience. Captain Bob's Kaneohe Sandbar Snorkeling Tour & BBQ Lunch with Waikiki Pickup

A Must-Do for Locals and Visitors!

Honestly, my expectations for this tour was not high. Reviews seemed mixed all around (i.e., Yelp, Google, etc.) and what I "really" wanted was the tour that had all the additional activities, i.e., banana boat, stand-up paddle board, but it was completely booked. However, the experience on this specific tour was sooooo much better that I anticipated. I booked the reservation for 17 (14 adults + 3 children), with most visiting from the East Coast mainland with even quite a handful of locals for which this was their first time to Sandbar, and they were more than accommodating to our large party. At first, I thought the time allocation was too short for each excursion (1. Sandbar (1-hr), 2. Turtle watching (15 min.); 3. Snorkeling (1-hr)), but it was perfect! Any longer and it would have felt drawn out. The lunch tasted better than I expected. Not too little and definitely not too much (otherwise the kids would have vomitted!). So don't be discouraged by it JUST being a BBQ burger -- you'll be pleasantly surprised. Drinks were available on board - non-alcoholic (free) and alcoholic ($5 each) and they had quite a variety so don't worry about being parched! The boat staff was super energetic and had a really cool vibe. They informed you ahead of time of all the do's and don'ts and was always available to answer any and all questions and concerns. And lastly, the Captain really made the trip memorable! He was a lot of fun and you just knew he loved his job. The weather was perfect, so that too, helped to make the day. Overall, it was a very memorable experience and I look forward to recommending this tour package to the rest of our family and friends, local and visiting.
