I booked a 150m parasailing experience with my husband. It was high and a bit scary, but more than that, we were able to enjoy the wonderful views and the thrill of the attraction. We had a 9 AM reservation and were picked up at our hotel at 8:30 AM (right on time), and we boarded the boat at the port with hardly any wait. Besides us, there were three Japanese girls, a French couple, and one American man, making a total of four groups. We took turns flying and returned to the port around 10 AM.

They took many photos for $30. I usually don’t order paid photos while traveling, but this time I decided to because they captured angles I couldn’t get myself. My husband brought a GoPro, so we were able to get some immersive footage from the air. If you have one, I recommend bringing it, but be careful not to drop it.

This optional tour isn’t necessarily cheap when you consider the time, but on the other hand, it wraps up in half a day, making it easy to incorporate a fun experience into your trip. When I went to Hawaii last time, I did the Heaven's Sea Tour (sandbar), but thinking about how you might not get the satisfaction you want unless you go at the best timing, like during low tide, I highly recommend parasailing.

このオプショナルツアーは時間換算すると決して安いものではありませんが、逆に半日で終わるので楽しい体験を気軽に旅行に組み込めるのでとてもいいと思います。前回ハワイに行ったときに天国の海ツアー（サンドバー）に行きましたが、干潮など時期的にベストタイミングで行かないと思うような満足感が得られないことを思うとパラセイリングはとてもおすすめです。

We participated in this tour with three generations, including a two-year-old. The morning was relaxed, and the schedule was laid-back, but we still had a full hour for snorkeling and practice. It was an exciting time for parents who find diving challenging with small children and for older participants who may not have much stamina.

They provided bread for the kids, and once we entered the water, we were able to see fish that felt like they were straight out of an aquarium, making for a valuable experience. Of course, the adults had a fantastic time as well. The staff were very friendly and took various Instagram-worthy photos that felt like wedding photos, allowing us to take home plenty of memories.

We were able to see a rainbow and many sea turtles, and if we swam fast enough, we could have taken pictures right next to them. Last year, we couldn't see any turtles on the turtle tour, so being able to swim with them was incredibly exciting.

The boat was well-maintained with plenty of shaded areas, and the restroom facilities were worry-free, with separate changing rooms for men and women, which was very considerate. Although the information mentioned potential seasickness, I tend to get seasick easily, but the rocking wasn't bad at all.

The snorkeling included thorough practice and ample time, making it enjoyable even for beginners. It was such a great experience that I would love to participate in the same tour again.

This was my first tour in Oahu, and I was very satisfied as it exceeded my expectations. I live in the United States and participated with my parents who came from Japan. The local staff was very friendly and kind, and surprisingly, the lunch that I didn't expect much from was actually quite delicious. We swam in a line for snorkeling, and it seems that the group that swam ahead saw a lot of fish, but we followed behind and it seemed that the fish escaped because of our snorkeling fins, so we couldn't find any...

We participated as a family of four: a couple in their early 30s and their parents in their late 50s and 60s. The shop is located on the Diamond Head side, within walking distance from the main hotels in Waikiki, but since we weren't sure about the distance until we actually went to Waikiki, we opted for the shuttle service. We rented rash guards and aqua shoes at the shop. It was a group lesson, but during our time slot, there were only five of us: our family and one other Korean woman in her 30s, with two staff members assisting us. We learned how to ride the waves while watching a video in the shop. After that, we moved to the beach and practiced the motions of riding the waves on the sand multiple times together. Then it was time to hit the ocean! Paddling was really tough, but both my mother and I managed to get out. The waves in Waikiki in March were quite gentle, suitable for beginners. In the summer, the waves get bigger, so it's advised not to go too far out. Because the waves were calm, it seemed impossible to ride them without paddling strongly, and when the waves came, the staff would give us a push. That helped us catch the waves! My husband and I were able to stand on the board for about five times, quite long. My mother, in her late 50s, also tried to stand several times and fell off the board, but she managed to stand for two longer periods and seemed to have a lot of fun! I wore contact lenses, and there were no issues at all. About ten years ago, I tried surfing a little at Kujukuri in Chiba, and I felt it was very painful to fall into the sea there because it was so beautiful, but here, it was not painful at all. 30代前半の夫婦、とその両親(50代後半、60代)の家族4人で参加しました。ショップはワイキキの主要ホテルよりもダイヤモンドヘッド側で、徒歩圏内なのですが、実際にワイキキに行ってみるまで距離感覚がわからなかったため、送迎ありで利用しました。ショップでラッシュガードとアクアシューズを借ります。グループレッスンだったのですが、私たちの時間帯は、私たち家族ともう一人30代の韓国人女性のみの計5人にスタッフの方が2人ついてくれました。ショップ内でビデオを見ながら、波の乗り方を学びます。その後、ビーチへ移動し、砂浜でボードの上で実際に波に乗る動作を何回もみんなで反復します。そしていざ海へ！パドリングが本当にきつかった、、、ですが、私も母もなんとか沖へ。3月のワイキキの波はかなり穏やかで、「初心者向けの波」のようです。夏になるともっと波が大きくなるため、あまり沖には出ないようです。波が穏やかなため、自力で波に乗るには、かなり強くパドリングしないと無理なようで、波がくるとスタッフの方が押してくれます。それで波に乗れます！私たち夫婦は5回くらい、かなり長くボードの上に立つことができました。50代後半の母も何回か立てそうになりながらもボードから落ちていましたが、2回長く立つことができ、とても楽しかったようです！コンタクト装着していますが、全然問題ありませんでした。10年ほど前、千葉の九十九里で少しだけサーフィンをしてみたことがあるのですが、海がとても綺麗なので(?)、九十九里の時はボードから海に落ちるととても苦しいと感じたのですが笑、全く苦しくなかったです。同行してくれたスタッフ2人の方々はとてもフレンドリーでした。立つことができると、本当に気分爽快です！

I do this activity every time i come to Oahu. Next time i come in, i will do this activity twice. One day i will do my normal thing using the bicycle to the secluded area i found my first year there and relax. Unfortunately this year was a bit overcast, which i blame on the volcanic disruptions from the big island. Second day i want to use a kayak to the Mokulua islands. Staff and service is great!

First off, i thoroughly enjoy the zip line. It was fun, was farther in the land on the ranch than i have before, so i got to see more stuff.
However, is the aftermath. I duped into thinking the picture i paid for, will be mine. In fact that is false. The ranch puts their logo on all the pictures, on the front. As you can see from the picture i have attach, the one picture i wanted, and actually did something of pose for; i couldn't enjoy. Now when i purchased the pictures, THERE WAS NO LOGO!!! Otherwise i would have mentioned it to them. Unbenounce to me, they took my money and i had to wait to find out about this. Once i expressed my concerns to the place on the telephone, i am talking to a person that company has given empowerment to make decisions for the company. In this case, its my fault i didn't pay attention to what was not shown or told to me. Yes that is right, i am the in the wrong. I bluntly stated, that this is one picture out of all of them that i wanted, because i did a pose and went by myself; because the other times i had to be paired up. I was in the wrong for going by myself. Now the staff that was there doing the zip line were awesome, and i had great time. I am talking about the aftermath, AFTER THEY TOOK MY MONEY!
Needless to say, i lose, they win. I don't get the picture i want, and i have to pay for it! What a great business!!
Unfortunately this will be the last time i will be going to Kualoa Ranch for anything, after this instance, how can i trust a company of their own wrong doings and still having to pay for it? Like i said, it is NOT there when you preview the pictures. It would have been obvious, and i would have known at that time on how it looks and guess what KUALOA? I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THEM!! Instead, you deceived me into thinking i am getting pictures of my good, with the lack of additional information attach onto the picture itself.
First time i was there, i misled about their ATV tour, no different than a shuttle!

The ride was very calm and nice weather. The whales consisted of a baby and its mother which we only saw once. We were in only 45 foot deep water. That is not deep enough for the whales. It was a bust.

This parasailing experience was my second time as a repeat visitor. Last time, I had so much fun and felt a thrill and refreshment that I wanted to try it again when I visited Hawaii. This time, perhaps because there were two fewer groups than last time, it felt like we were able to fly for a longer time. Also, since there wasn't much wind last time, I was desperately clinging to the railing to avoid falling while the yacht was flying quite a bit, but this time, the wind was just right, and I was able to ride calmly on the yacht, which was comfortable. The crew was also very fun and lively, making for a truly enjoyable time. The shuttle driver was very nice this time as well, engaging in fun conversation and even treating us to drinks on the way back. For my third time, I will try the 150 meters.

It seems that gel nails are not allowed for the swimming course, and there are no gloves available for rent. I was told to tear them off with pliers. I was surprised!

The horseback riding course was scheduled for 12:15 PM, but the pickup was at 7:05 AM. I was a bit confused about arriving at the ranch so early, but thanks to the quick thinking of a staff member who spoke Japanese, I was able to sign up for a bus tour of the ranch without wasting any time. The bus guide provided information in Japanese, so I was fine without any explanations from the instructor during the horseback riding, but I think it would have been nice to have at least a little guidance. The horses were really smart, remembering the course without any prompts, and they followed the instructor's whistle perfectly. The magnificent scenery was wonderful.

12時15分からの乗馬2時間コースでしたが、ピックアップは7時05分。
早すぎる牧場への到着でどうしようかと戸惑っていましたら、日本語を話せるスタッフさんの機転で急遽バスで牧場内を見学できるアクティビティの受付を案内して下さったので無駄な時間を過ごすことなくすみました。
バスのガイドさんが日本語で案内して下さったので、その後の乗馬でのインストラクターの説明がなくても大丈夫でしたが、ちょっとくらいは案内があってもいいと思います。
誘導もなくコースを覚えきっていて、たまにインストラクターさんの口笛できちんと進んでいくお馬さんは本当にお利口でした。
雄大な景色は素晴らしかったです。
