This was just such a great experience. We got incredibly lucky with active whales during our trip. We saw two set of mothers with their calves. The calves breached multiple times and we even got to see one of the mothers breach! Even just the scenery during the sail up the coast was amazing. The crew was incredibly fun and nice, everyone was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend using this company for your whale tour.

The diamond seat was very good! We were prioritized for the lei, photos, and buffet, being the first in line! The stage was fun and really lively, and it was a wonderful luau show! The welcome drink, Mai Tai, could be chosen as either alcoholic or non-alcoholic. The alcoholic version was quite strong. Even though it was cold, there were no warm drinks available, so I thought having a jacket would be a good idea.

Also, I had to wait about 20 minutes to exchange the voucher for tickets. After that, I lined up for photos, so for those in general seating, it took about 40 minutes in total. The photos were $50 in cash.

That day was a Sunday, and the fireworks for the Hilton's full occupancy were launched around 8:30 PM! It's such a wonderful environment to be able to see such a fantastic show within the village.

In late February, my husband and I visited Hawaii and wanted to do something Hawaiian, so we participated in this activity!

Most of the participants were Japanese, with a few foreigners mixed in. The boats going to the sandbar were separated into one for Japanese people only and another that included foreigners. Both boats had Japanese guides who were very good at speaking, and the locals were cheerful, making the experience enjoyable from the boat!

When I asked the guide to take photos at the sandbar, they even directed us on how to pose, capturing many wonderful pictures from various angles♡

The guide also helped us look for sea turtles, and we were able to see a lot of them!

During snorkeling, we could see the sea turtles up close! The weather was great, but the water was very cold once we got in.

When we returned to the boat, they had warm drinks prepared, so we could relax and enjoy sunbathing on board!

The hamburgers for lunch were huge, and since we could add our own toppings, it was amazing to customize them to our liking! I'm so glad we could do something truly Hawaiian♪♪

I participated with my 3-year-old child. The dolphins' eyes were adorable, and it was my first time touching them, which felt quite strange. We visited with four adults, all over 20 years old. Although it was a morning course, horseback riding while overlooking the beautiful coastline of North Shore was absolutely fantastic. Our group consisted only of our family of four, but there were two support staff members, and it was no problem even for those who were mostly beginners. The riding time and course distance were just right, without any excess or deficiency. However, the restrooms are basic, so it's advisable to take care of that beforehand.

What an experience! This tour is definitely worth it. The boat only takes out a max of 6 people which allows for more cage time and less crowds. The cage was plenty big for everyone to see and not feel cramped. We had sharks around us the entire time we were in the water and the water was so clear it was quite the experience. The crew was awesome and very knowledgeable about not only sharks but whales as well. We were able to stop on our way back into harbor and watch the whales for a little bit. Overall such a great experience, highly recommend!

This is my third time participating. The first time was with my husband, the second time I brought my daughter, and for the third time, I brought my other daughter. Each time, the expressions were different due to the sunlight and water levels, and each was enjoyable in its own way. We were able to see sea turtles all three times. The lunch felt just like being at an American potluck party. It lasted about three hours. Enjoying snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and lunch at this price is a great deal.

I arrived at the meeting place 30 minutes early, and after signing the waiver, we were instructed to gather again 10 minutes before departure. It’s a 2-minute walk to the boarding area.

We set sail with two cheerful guys at the helm. The trip lasted just under 2 hours, sailing offshore with the trade winds, and the scenery was beautiful, just as I expected. There were some Japanese passengers who got seasick, but many others were enjoying themselves with drinks.

Soft drinks are about $2, and beer is around $4. We were lucky to see sea turtles offshore.

This time, not only the participants from Dolphin University but also the middle school participants went on the same boat! It was disappointing that there were more people than last time and that the activities and hula dance time were shorter.
However, the crew worked hard to entertain the participants, and I was moved to see dolphins up close!!! Although the activity time was short, I had a great time! Thank you very much! (^ ^)

We were supposed to gather in front of Quicksilver (on Lures Street) at 8:40 for a 9:00 start, but even at 9:15, the van hadn’t arrived. When we decided to give up and return to the hotel, we received an email from Veltra at 8:36 notifying us of the cancellation. I was a bit anxious and checked the email late, but it seems there’s a possibility of cancellation until quite close to the time.

After that, we rescheduled and gathered at the same time and place, and around 8:55, a van with the Hawaiian Parasailing logo arrived. It was a busy spot with many taxis and other shuttle buses, so the logo on the van helped us identify it.

Inside the van, we signed a consent form, and upon reaching the dock, we were guided without any waiting and boarded with our belongings. It’s better not to bring too much luggage since it goes under the seats at your feet.

There were about five groups on the same boat, including couples, friends, families, and solo travelers. After about 10 minutes offshore, our group was called to fly suddenly. The actual flying lasted about 7 to 8 minutes, and the view of Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, and the horizon was amazing under the clear sky. We enjoyed being lifted and lowered, and even took a light dive into the sea.

The crew played music on the boat and entertained us with their broken Japanese. Before flying, they asked if we wanted to take photos with a DSLR. I requested a DSLR shot and also handed my phone to someone on the boat to record a video. Other groups were taking pictures of each other with their phones and exchanged photos after returning to the harbor.

Each group flew for a total of about an hour. I usually don’t get seasick, but I took motion sickness medication beforehand, so I didn’t feel too nauseous, although some people on the boat seemed to be quite sick.

I gave a tip to the crew (I gave $20), paid for the SD card at the reception (which holds about 90 photos for $30), and returned to the hotel around 10:30 with the van.

実際に飛んでいたのは7〜8分で、快晴のなかダイヤモンドヘッドやワイキキビーチ、水平線の眺めは最高でした。高さを上下されたり、海に軽くダイブしたりもありでとても楽しめました。
船では音楽も流して、カタコトの日本語でクルーが楽しませてくれます。

クルーが飛ぶ前に一眼レフで写真を撮るか聞いてくれます。私は一眼の撮影をお願いして、さらに同船していた人に携帯を渡して、動画を撮って貰いました。他のグループではお互いに携帯で撮り合って、帰港後に写真交換をしていました。

各グループが飛んで、トータル1時間ほどでした。もともと船酔いしないほうですが、事前に酔い止めを飲んでいったのでそこまで酔いは感じなかったものの、同船の方は結構酔って大変そうでした。

クルーにチップ(私は20ドルにしました)を渡し、受付でSDカードの代金(90枚程入って30ドル)を払って、バンで送ってもらいホテルに戻ったのは10:30頃でした。

I went with a plan that included a buffet!
I checked in at 18:15, and from 18:30, we were treated to a ukulele performance and hula dancing.

18:30からブュッフェスタートです。
座席順にブュッフェに案内され、マイタイがサーブされます。

２階席でしたがステージがとても近く感じます。

The crew was delightful. The boats were comfortable. The BBQ burger for lunch was a nice surprise. Time to practice snorkeling at the sandbar was perfect for my girlfriend. We saw a ton of turtles and then the snorkeling was fantastic!

I visited on February 14, and on that day, they informed us during the meal that there was a special meal being offered for an additional $20 per person. If that was the case, I would have preferred to be informed at the reception before the meal. More than anything, I requested that they contact the tour company, but perhaps due to the crowd that day, I was told multiple times to wait a bit. I would have chosen to contact the tour company myself. They insisted that they couldn't reach out and just wanted us to pay the money. The meal, which should have been enjoyable, was hard to swallow, and my parents and son, who were looking forward to the restaurant, felt as if they had done something wrong. When we were about to finish the meal and leave, I asked one last time, "I will pay the additional fee, and I will contact the tour company, but could you please also reach out to them?" Finally, I was able to speak with the person in charge, who said that there was no need to pay and encouraged us to enjoy our meal. However, to be honest, I was left feeling sad and disappointed... I lost my appetite and got up from the table.

I was saved by the response of the restaurant manager, but the Japanese-speaking female staff treated us as if we were trying to dine and dash. I sincerely hope she learns customer service again so that others do not have to experience what we did. This review is a bit different from a typical review for Veltra, but I wanted to share this experience so that future customers keep this in mind.

お店の責任者の対応で救われましたが、まるでこちらが無銭飲食しようとしているような態度で対応をされた日本語の出来る女性スタッフにはもう一度接客を学んで頂き、私たちのような思いをする方が今後ないように切にねがいます。
