A Must Do Experience that Exceeded my Expectations!

The dinner and show were a great way to spend time in Hawaii, and I would do this one again! The food was tasty, plentiful, and offered more of a variety of choices than some of the other luaus I’ve attended on the island. Be sure to come hungry! I was thrilled that I could enjoy a welcome mai tai since they had a nonalcoholic option. I thought I was going to have to miss out, but they had me covered, and it didn’t taste like it was only pineapple juice. After the delicious dinner and fun fellowship with other guests, it was time for the show. The transition from the dining area to the show venue was smooth. The staff was so helpful. Shout out to Sheena!

Some of the performers in the show had also attended to us at the luau. It was awesome to see them in their element on stage. They were professional in both settings, and so talented on stage. I felt like I was watching friends perform. I knew the show was about Hawaii over time, but I was pleasantly surprised when “Elvis” came on stage and you also had to bolt me to my seat when “Michael Jackson” appeared. Both performers were believable! The fire dancer was lit! (Pun intended) and the energetic dancers and singers were top notch. Be sure to come with a camera to take lots of pictures with the flash off, of course! You will not be disappointed!

It seems to be a popular activity, and even with a reservation made two weeks in advance, I couldn't get a morning start and had to book for after 1 PM. On the way to the location from the meeting point, there was heavy rain. By the time we arrived, it was just light rain. Luckily, the rain stopped before we departed.

Around lunchtime, there was a long line for ordering food, and I was worried about making it in time for my scheduled participation. It was the right decision to line up quickly after arriving. Before departure, we received a briefing and had our licenses checked. A Japanese driver's license is acceptable; an international driver's license is not necessary.

Finally, we set off. I had to chase after the car in front of me on the bumpy road, gripping the steering wheel tightly, which was tiring. I didn't feel much of a sense of exhilaration. At a rest stop along the way, there was an explanation related to movie shooting scenes, but I had only seen Jurassic Park and was completely lost.

It could have been a hassle if it had rained, but since the rain had stopped, there was little mud splatter and hardly any dirt. The leader at the front and the cheerful woman at the back were both very experienced. They talked a lot, but their fast pace made it hard to understand—about one-third of what they said. By the way, I have a TOEIC score of over 800.

The return bus time was predetermined, and we had to wait for about two hours. There were no souvenirs I wanted, so I just waited. It seemed that many people had come by car. I overheard a participant in the horseback riding course say, "I didn't think it would be this much fun" (in Japanese), which made me slightly regret not choosing that option.

出発前に事前説明を受け、免許証の確認。日本の免許証でOK。国際免許証は不要。
いざ出発。前の車に後れないようにでこぼこ道を懸命に追いかける。ハンドルを目一杯握るので疲れる。爽快感はさほど感じなかった。
途中の休憩スポットで映画の撮影シーンと絡めた説明があるが、ジュラシックパーク以外は観ておらず、チンプンカンプン。
雨が降っていたら大変だったかも。雨が上がっていたので、泥ハネ少なく殆ど汚れなし。
先頭のリーダーと最後を見守るのは経験十分な陽気な女性二人。沢山喋ってくれるが早口で理解度1／3。因みに当方はTOEIC800以上。
帰りのバス時刻は予め指定されており、待つこと2時間ほど。欲しい土産物もなくただ待つのみ。乗用車で来た人が多いようです。
乗馬コース参加者が、「こんなに楽しいとは思わなかった」（日本語）と言っているのを小耳にはさんだので、「そちらにするんだった」とやや後悔。

I participated in the morning session. The sea was emerald green and very beautiful! I was surprised at how deep and cold it was at first. I tried kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding for the first time, and it was really fun. Although I couldn't see the sandy beach due to timing, I had a great time overall.

They also provide snorkeling, and they offer free mini floaties suitable for 2-year-old children. There are staff members who understand Japanese, which is reassuring.

The kids were very satisfied! Light snacks are included, and there are restrooms on the boat. The weather and everything else was perfect. I would love to participate again when I come to Hawaii with friends next time!

We enjoyed our horseback ride on the beach. The scenery was beautiful, the ride easy. It wasn't 2 hours as advertised, closer to 1 hour 40 minutes, but still a nice ride. They make you wear helmets which I wish was optional because I didn't feel they were necessary since we only walked the horses and the horses were very gentle. It would have been nice if we could have run the horses, but with beginner riders on the trip I understand that that was not an option and they let you know it's walking only. Our guide Ella was very friendly. Overall we were pleased with the ride.

Elvis and Michael may still be famous in America, but in Japan, they might be considered nostalgic. Even as someone over sixty who loves Western music, I don't really know what Elvis sounds like when he's singing live, so I thought it might be a bit much for younger people. I believe that traditional hula dancing is more representative of Hawaii.

Even though I was in the front row, only a few people in the middle got to shake hands with the singer playing Elvis. When we were leaving, he quickly avoided us when we got close. Why is that?

We were a large group made up of first timers, young ones and experienced parasailers and had a great time. We initially experienced mechanical issues and had to scrap our excursion but were able to reschedule for the next day. I experienced this three years ago and had so much fun that I decided to try it again. There were no single-person buggies available, only the six-person ones, but I still enjoyed the long journey with the beautiful scenery and thrills. The staff seemed to be making an effort to entertain us. As expected, there were few Japanese people, so a certain level of language skills was necessary! I relied on Pocketalk. I would love to go again if single-person buggies are available again.

I'm glad I was able to easily go to Waikele, especially since there are few one-time tours available. However, it was disappointing that a few people did not arrive on time for the return bus, causing a delay of over 30 minutes. While this is more of a passenger etiquette issue than the bus's responsibility, I believe there should be a reminder that the bus will depart at the scheduled time, and if someone is late, they will need to find their own way back.

First, want to acknowledge our awesome tour guide. His name was Garfield. This guy was full of information and his instructions were spot on. I have so much to say about this day. To me it was a little overwhelming all that we saw in such a short time. Between the Bowfin submarine tour, it's museum, the USS Arizona Memorial was spectacular and awe inspiring. The aviation museum was my favorite since I am an aviation buff. All the planes in various states of repair and some that were riddled with bullet holes was incredible. The Battleship Missouri was quite a sight to see. I wish I returned to spend more time to explore. This day was full of sights and emotion. Worth the price of admission for sure. Thank you again Garfield.

Well, we didn't start off on time due to an unavoidable traffic issue. Once Juicy showed up the trip began and he kept us rolling in the aisles with funny stories and excellent information about the sights. Did I mention that Juicy made up for arriving late? Each stop was awesome and he went out of his way to make it just that much more special. The lunch was some yet delicious. I feel bad because I actually forgot his real name. The only name we got familiar with was Juicy. What a sweet and funny man. I really connected with him. Glad we took this tour.

Super fun activities - love it!

Vibe was great, music was awesome. They had live music on our trip to the location and played music while we played in the water. It was the best activity we booked on our trip. We enjoyed paddle boarding the best. But just hanging out in the middle of the ocean was so much fun. Would definitely recommend. I didn't book the extra activities and still had a great time. Don't forget to bring your reef safe sunscreen. The crew was great and very helpful.

The overall experience was amazing. It was the best part about our trip. The scenery is breathtaking. The best part was snorkeling in a hole that was bombed in 1942. When we snorkeled in the bomb hole we seen a couple turtles and other sea life. The only thing that I didn’t care for was that it is a workout to come back. I thought it was gonna be easy to kayak the way back but it was exhausting. So I would say give yourself some time to come back especially if you have young children because you will sweat.

It was beautiful my first time riding a horse but she was very patient and helpful, we stopped next to the water to get photos and that was amazing, i can’t remember her name but she had short dark hair and was amazing telling us all about the land horses my husband and myself enjoyed it very much and would recommend it it was the sundown ride, it was so relaxing and we talked the whole time, thank you so much it was a great ending to a birthday

They say Hawaii is beautiful I totally agree, we had the deluxe package, I wasn’t feeling good and almost canceled wow I’m so glad I didn’t it was amazing, the tour guide was hilarious and sweet, the food was emasculate,you get plenty, there were games to play and tattoos the only thing that was disappointing was my husband ask to take a picture of the beautiful birds next to the water and was told No, but the rest of the people we’re great the singers, and especially the dancers but a huge shout out to the fire show it was worth everything penny that you pay it’s something everyone should see it was my birthday so I got a shout out Thank you so much, I wanted this since I was seven yes old and didn’t get to enjoy it like I wished but I made it thank you all for an awesome day the Arms family

The rock and hula show was amazing!
It was a very good performance!
It took a while to eat because we had to share a table with a large group.
No one was wearing masks. In fact, hardly anyone wears masks in Hawaii.
Since people are sitting very close together, I wouldn't recommend it for those who are concerned about infections.
It seems that there are not many people who are worried about it in Hawaii.
The food was just okay. The meat was very delicious.
A plan that includes just the hula show might be a good option.

My family enjoyed this tour. All staff are very nice and helpful. Elvin helped my 8-year old son in kayaking. The gentleman at snorkeling helped me when I couldn’t swim back to the boat. The bus driver was very nice too. Oh the staffs on the boat are all friendly. Thank you all for the wonderful experience.

It was great. However it rained all day. We were not prepared for this weather. The rain ponchos they sell were good so that we can walk around to the different islands. The islanders performers were authentic and beautiful. We learned so many things. In general it was a wonderful time experience! The Buffett Had a lot of variety and good service. The quality of the food was ok. Not great. The Ha show was outstanding!!!
