Convenient Hawaiian Parasail located just a short walk from Hilton Hawaiian Village✨
This was my second time taking a sky walk.

First parasailing experience. We participated as a parent-child duo with no understanding of English at all. The staff at the reception had some knowledge of Japanese, but the two boat staff only spoke English. There were five groups in total (two groups were foreigners, and three groups were Japanese) that set off together. We took turns flying in the order determined by the staff. At one point, one person got seasick and had to go overboard, so I think those prone to motion sickness should take precautions. When parasailing, it was okay to wear sunglasses and have a smartphone hanging around your neck (at your own risk). When landing, they lifted us up a bit again just as our feet touched the water, and ultimately, we were lowered onto the boat, so we hardly got wet. I couldn't understand the staff's instructions (in English) at all, but I could feel the fun atmosphere, and I really enjoyed it! The whole experience from check-in to disbanding took about an hour and a half, and considering the location near Hilton, I think it's an easily accessible activity to try.

Seeing Hawaii from the sky was exceptional!

Before the experience, I was a bit scared, but once I actually flew, it was not scary at all. In fact, it was so pleasant that I wanted to keep flying forever. A girl who looked about five years old was also flying without any fear.

The boat sways quite a bit, so if you're prone to motion sickness, taking motion sickness medication is a must!

You can choose between the wet course and the dry course, but I definitely recommend the wet course.

There are no showers around, but the waters of Hawaii don't leave you feeling sticky or gross, so I was fine going shopping afterward without a shower.

The staff were very kind, and I had a great time. This is an activity I highly recommend.

I made a reservation for the experience starting at 10 AM. The meeting time was at 9:30 AM, and after completing the procedures, we departed just before 10 AM. We arrived at the experience site in just a few minutes. There were about four groups at the same time, so we enjoyed parasailing in turns for about 5 to 10 minutes each. Our family of four enjoyed it in two rounds. It was my first time experiencing this, but there was no fear like on a thrilling ride; instead, we ascended like a kite and had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. At the highest point, I felt a little nervous due to the height and the swaying from the wind, but when we descended, they intentionally dropped us into the sea, though it only got my feet and backside slightly wet. In terms of cash, there was a $1 fee per person mentioned in the email, plus tips. They also take photos with a digital camera, which costs $40 for the group, and they share the photos with you afterward. We also received an SD card. When I arrived at the counter at the scheduled time, a very pleasant woman assisted me. She spoke a little Japanese, but primarily in English. While we waited for our departure, she engaged my child by talking about the crabs and fish, which was nice. I really enjoyed the parasailing experience! The view from 150 meters above the sea was a rare experience that only those who fly can see. I rated it ⭐︎4 because two men on the boat were a bit too businesslike and I thought they could have been more enthusiastic, but I definitely recommend trying parasailing! I put my smartphone in a waterproof case and hung it around my neck with a strap, capturing the views and videos from above. If you're comfortable letting go with one hand, it makes for a great memory!

I took a taxi near the Hilton, but it took some time to find the small ticket booth at the designated location. However, the receptionist was very kind. I arrived earlier than the scheduled time but had to wait. There were ten people at a time, and it was just the four of us along with three foreign couples. We went out to sea by boat, and once the ropes were set, we were able to go parasailing one after another. They helped us with the belt setup inside the boat, and when we flew, we could either land in the water up to our bottoms and be brought back to the boat or just get our toes wet and be lowered into the boat, so my upper body didn’t get wet at all. I didn’t have a change of clothes, so I changed at Ala Moana. You can bring a change bag onto the boat. Since there were four of us in the family and the child is in elementary school, we did it in groups of three. It was special because the child was able to go twice in a row, and they were very satisfied.

You can bring a small bag, like a backpack, onto the boat and keep it under the seat. I took motion sickness medication, but the boat rocked quite a bit, and I ended up feeling sick. My husband and child seemed to be fine. After parasailing, I felt seasick for about half a day, but even considering that, it was a wonderful opportunity that you don't get to experience often.

Before getting on the boat, I started to feel scared and thought about backing out for a moment, but once I got on and the staff explained everything in a fun and entertaining way, my tension eased! I wasn't scared at all during takeoff or landing! It was amazing!!!

Me and my wife did this for the first time ever… it was a great experience… Hawaiian Parasail is the one to choose when doing this … everyone was great… easy place to find and very helpful and smooth check in… right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village… just amazing views on the 1000 ft option… the guys on the boat knew what they were doing and did a great job… we would choose them again in a second…!!!!!!

Cons: Location wasn’t too clear, better signage in the future would be great.

Buoyant donut was too small for the amount or people, so lots of bumping and kicking, including from the trainer. A bigger float donut would be perfect.

Water was murky, but not much can be done about that. Maybe a heads up from the diver if they have an indication of the water condition before hand would help.

Pros: Diver was great in making sure that we got to see a few fish. He also dove down to grab some of the water life and we got a chance to hold them in our hands.

We brought our own snorkel and mouth piece, and diver was very helpful in making sure it was secure to their masks.

Diver was very knowledgeable and got us checked out with our photos and videos in hand very quickly.

Definitely recommend this for super beginners!

This activity was great for beginners. The instructor was amazing and made sure everyone had a good time.
The only drawback that day was water was very murky and made it difficult to see as many see fish and other sea creatures.
I would highly recommend this activity and instrutor.

I got lost and arrived late for the meeting time, but the staff kindly guided me. The moving boat was going quite fast, and I was filled with fear thinking about being pulled at that speed, but once I took off, I didn't feel the speed in the sky and was able to enjoy the scenery gracefully. Since the boat sways a lot, I think it's better to take motion sickness medication.

道に迷ってしまい集合時間に遅れて到着したのですが、スタッフさんが優しく案内してくださいました。移動の船はかなりのスピードが出ていて、この速さで引っ張られるのかとかなり恐怖心を煽られましたが、飛んでみると空の上ではスピードは感じず優雅に景色を楽しむことができました。

Start from the beach at the Royal Hawaiian.
When you show the VELTRA voucher (on your smartphone screen) at the poolside reception of the Royal Hawaiian, your check-in is complete. You can take off your shoes and have your bag stored. There may be someone who speaks Japanese among the staff.

We participated as two adults and three children (a high schooler, a middle schooler, and an elementary schooler), and we all got on one canoe, along with the captain and the paddler, totaling seven people. Everyone except for the small children basically needs to paddle. It requires quite a bit of strength. It can be tiring.

However, the refreshing feeling of gliding smoothly over Waikiki Beach is wonderful. You typically make about three round trips. (There isn't much time to take photos, but I think it's possible to take selfies if you waterproof your device perfectly.)

Additionally, they take photos for you, and if you pay, they have a system to send them to you online. I think it was around $60.

You don't need to speak Japanese fluently; just asking a few questions will be fine. You can show the voucher from Veltra (on your smartphone) at the store, and they will understand.

First, you'll put on surf boots and a rash guard. (The boots are bundled with rubber bands by size, so just pick a pair. The rash guard is yellow for those in the photo pack and navy blue for everyone else.)

After that, you'll watch a short video and walk to the beach. *You can't take your wallet or smartphone with you, as you'll need to leave them in the store's locker. If you want to take photos, it's a good idea to ask a friend who isn't surfing to help.*

Once you pass in front of the Honolulu Zoo and reach the beach, you'll carry your board to the sand. There will be about nine participants with three coaches. After a brief practice of getting on and standing on the board, you'll head out immediately. You'll paddle out to the ocean on your own, which can be quite tiring at this stage.

Once you're out in the water, the three coaches will help you catch the waves, making it easy to ride. You'll be able to stand up right away. After that, you'll enjoy surfing back and forth for about an hour. In the later part, I often practiced catching waves on my own without relying on the coaches.

It's perfectly fine for children aged middle school and older.

We participated with our third-grade daughter as a family of three. We boarded the boat with two other families who also had children. I was worried that if we were paired two by two, one of us would end up with someone else, but all families were able to experience it together.

Since we were staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, the access was excellent as it was just a short walk along the lagoon. On the day of the experience, it was quite windy and the waves were rough, causing the boat to sway a lot, but none of us got seasick. Before boarding, I was really nervous, but the staff who love sharks helped ease my anxiety, making the wait enjoyable. But soon, I got to enjoy the incredible view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from above, which was absolutely amazing.
