It was my first time parasailing!

Unfortunately, the weather was not great with some rain and cloudy skies, which made the view disappointing, but it gave me a reason to challenge myself to try again next time! (laughs)

I had seen reviews mentioning that some people couldn't get on the trolley, so I was worried, but I was able to board the trolley without any issues. The staff mainly spoke English, but they also spoke a little Japanese, and for the important explanations, they provided a sheet written in Japanese, which was reassuring.

The parasailing experience itself was simply amazing! It was a unique experience to look down at Waikiki from above the ocean, which was really great. The boat was quite rocky, and while I didn't get seasick, those who are prone to motion sickness might want to take some medication just to be safe. However, the day I participated, the sea was unusually rough, so it might have been particularly bumpy...

あいにくの天気で雨がぱらついたり、曇っていて景色は残念でしたが次回チャレンジに挑む理由ができました！笑

口コミでトロリーに乗れなかった方がいると見ていたので心配でしたが、難なくトロリーに乗ることができました。
スタッフの方もメインは英語を話されていましたが日本語も少し話されていましたし、大事な説明の部分は日本語で書かれた用紙を渡されますので安心でした。

パラセイリング自体は最高の一言！
上からワイキキを海から見下ろすなんて事はなかなかできない体験だったのでとてもよかったです。
船の上ではかなり揺れが激しく、私は酔いませんでしたが酔いやすい方は酔い止めを飲む方が安心かもしれません。
ただ、私が参加した日は現地の方も珍しいという程海が荒れていたので特別揺れただけかもしれませんが…

The tour consisted of 12 people in groups of two and three. Usually, the pickup van for tours is late, but this one arrived on time.

We took a large boat until we reached the sea. Since the sun was quite strong, I was glad I wore a UV cardigan over my swimsuit. The instructions for putting on the equipment were in English, as mentioned in other experiences, but they used gestures to explain, so I understood it somewhat. Plus, they guided us, so it was fine to just go with the flow.

I attempted the 150m challenge, and while the cable swayed a bit like a swing when it stretched, that added to the thrill and made it fun. Up high, it was very quiet, and I could feel the wind in the sky, which was an amazing feeling. (I took off the cardigan.) The men participating wore life jackets and swim trunks, and after jumping, they put on their T-shirts again.

During the landing, we were soaked up to our waists in the sea, and it was funny to see ourselves recorded on the SD card. I highly recommend buying the SD card ($30). Just let them know "SD please" before you go parasailing, and it's all set. We looked like we were having a great time in the photos.

If I do it again, I noticed that I was mostly showing my backside in the pictures, so I plan to place the guard closer to my thighs like my husband did for more stability.

ツアーだとお迎えのバンは大抵遅れるのですが、こちらは時間とおりに到着してくれました。

海へ出るまでは大型ボートに乗ります。かなり日差しが強かったのでＵＶカーディガンを水着の上に羽織って正解でした。
器具を装着するなどの説明は、体験談にあるように英語でしたが、ジェスチャーで表現してくれるので何となくわかりました。それにやってくださるのでそのままGOで大丈夫です。

150mに挑戦しましたが、ケーブルが伸びる時にグラっとぶらんこのように少し揺れますが、それがまた恐怖で楽しかったし、高い高い上空はとても静かで、空の風を肌で感じることが出来たのが、最高の気分でした。（カーディガンは脱ぎました）
参加された男性もライフジャケットに海パンというスタイルで、飛んだ後にまた手持ちのＴシャツを着るという感じでした。

着陸の時には腰まで海に浸かって、びしゃびしゃな私たちがＳＤカードに記録されていて可笑しかったです。ＳＤカード（＄30）は絶対買った方がいいです。パラセイリングで飛ぶ前にＳＤプリーズと伝えればＯＫ。
とても楽しそうな自分たちが写っていました。

次回やるとしたら、ひざに近いモモ裏にガードをあてたらお尻ばかり見せるように写っていたので、こんどは安定していた主人のようにお尻に近いモモ裏にガードをあてようと思います。

I love roller coasters, but my experience was incredibly scary. At first, it was fun being close to the ocean, posing for the camera, and having a great time, but as the height increased, the fear became so overwhelming that I couldn't even speak. It was definitely less than 10 minutes, but it felt like a really long time to me, and I found myself wishing to get off. However, since they don't let you off right away, I reluctantly calmed down and looked around... what a breathtaking view. The ocean was a deep blue, and I could see all of Waikiki. I wanted to engrave that sight in my memory and forgot about my fear. The "ocean splash" when they finally let you down brought back the fun and made me feel at ease. It was a different kind of thrill and an amazing view compared to typical thrill rides. I wondered if 45 meters would be embarrassing, so I went for 90 meters, but while I was flying, I couldn't tell how high it was... and the photos taken were too far away, so I thought 45 meters would have been enough. This was one of the most memorable experiences during my trip to Hawaii, so I will definitely participate again next time.

目に焼きつけたくて怖さも忘れました。
降ろしてくれる時の『海ポチャ』が、これまた楽しさが甦って安心させてくれます。
絶叫マシンとはまた違ったスリルと絶景。
４５Ｍだと恥ずかしいかな？なんて思って９０Ｍにしましたが、飛んでる私には高さはわからず、、、撮ってくれる写真も遠くなってしまうし、４５Ｍで十分かなと思いました。
今回の渡ハの中でかなり印象深かったので、次も絶対参加です。

I experienced stand-up paddleboarding. First, I was worried about the explanation in English, but a Japanese staff member kindly explained everything to me. The instructor was a foreigner who was cheerful and nice, but there was hardly any guidance once we got out on the water, so I had to rely on my memory of the initial instructions to manage on my own. However, I was able to stand up relatively easily and enjoyed it.

There were a few disappointing things, though. When I returned to the reception after the lesson, the instructor handed me a towel, but the Japanese woman at the reception told me that only Royal Hawaiian guests could use the towels and took it away from me. I was charged $50 plus tax even though it was supposed to include photos. Since I thought there would be photos included, I hadn’t prepared my own camera, so I had no choice but to purchase the photos. The lesson itself was a lot of fun, so it was unfortunate. Later, VELTRA refunded me for the photo fee.

写真つきとなっていたのに50ドル＋税を請求されたこと。
写真つきだと思っていたので自分たちのカメラを用意していなかったため写真を購入するしかなかったこと。
レッスン自体はすごく楽しかったので、残念でした。
後日、VELTRAさんが写真代を返金してくれました。

We participated with my daughter and her husband, as well as my sister-in-law's family, making three families in total. At first, it was very scary, but after a while, we got used to it and were able to enjoy the amazing views. The energetic and handsome staff further boosted our spirits. Unfortunately, my wife couldn't board due to a mix-up and had to stay at the port, but I received an email saying they would refund her as soon as we returned home, and I appreciate their quick response.
If we go to Hawaii again, we will definitely do this again! It was also a good decision to request a photo shoot. It became a wonderful memory.

I tried surfing for the first time at the age of 62. Since I was good at skiing, I thought I could manage it and signed up casually. I imagined that balance would be important, so I did some mental training in preparation. However, the pickup was 30 minutes late, the instructions were all in English (which I couldn't understand), the semi-private lesson instructor was unfriendly (sorry for being an old guy!), and to top it off, the weather was bad, so my surfing experience left a lot to be desired. In the end, I think I managed to stand longer than the talent Junji Takada.

I joined this activity because the reviews were great. To put it simply, it was incredibly fun!!!

On the day of the event, the van arrived on time to pick us up and took us to the harbor. We boarded the boat smoothly without any waiting. My husband and I took motion sickness pills beforehand, so we enjoyed the cruise out to sea without feeling sick. I couldn't catch most of the English explanations (laughs), but it was totally fine! They take care of everything.

Many reviews mentioned that they weren't scared and wanted to try something higher next time, so I boldly decided to challenge the 150m! I took their advice and said things like "many many photos, please!" and "At finish, under knee please!" (laughs). I wanted to take photos from above, so I brought a waterproof camera and, on a whim, a non-waterproof DSLR. ← Reckless.

Finally, it was time for takeoff. We were lifted from the back of the boat and went up a little at first. As we drifted away from the boat, the loud sounds of the engine and waves suddenly disappeared, and my husband and I were surprised by how quiet it became. As others have mentioned, it truly felt like a space just for the two of us. It was so quiet up there that we could chat normally.

We didn't go up all at once; it was a gradual ascent. Honestly, I wasn't sure if we were really at 150m. If the ground were directly below us, things would look small and I might feel scared, but since it was just endless ocean, there was no sense of distance, and even if we fell, it would be into water (though there would be impact), so I thought it wasn't scary at all.

When we went, there was little to no wind, so it was stable and we weren't tossed around at all. After enjoying about 10 minutes of our aerial stroll, we slowly descended as the wire was reeled in, and as I requested, we landed with just our feet touching the water. Since my DSLR wasn't waterproof, I raised the camera above my head to protect it at that moment. (It was fine, but I can't guarantee it, so please don't imitate me! I did it with the understanding of my own responsibility.)

They picked us up at 9:40, so we had plenty of time for breakfast, and we arrived at the hotel before noon, which gave us enough time to enjoy the afternoon. It was very compact and I highly recommend it!

I've been to Hawaii several times, but this was my first time doing such an activity. I'm really glad I participated. Next, I want to challenge the 180m. "150m is about one-third of Tokyo Tower..." you don't need to worry about silly things like that! (laughs) I highly recommend it☆☆☆

上空からの写真を撮りたくて、防水カメラと、一か八かで防水でない一眼レフを持って行きました。

いよいよテイクオフ。
船の後方から上げられ、まずは少しだけ上がります。
ふっと船から離れると、さっきまで聞こえていたエンジンや波の大きな音がすぅっとなくなり
一気に静かな空間になったのには主人と２人で驚きました。
他の方も書かれていますがまさに２人だけの空間。上空はとっても静かなので普通におしゃべりができました。

一気には上がらず少しずつ少しずつ。
正直150mもあるかな？という高さの感覚でした。もし真下が地面だったら物が小さく見えて高さを実感し怖いかもしれませんが、ひたすら海なので遠近感がないのと、万一落ちたとしても水だし（衝撃はありますが）という感じで怖くないのかなと思いました。

私たちが行った時は風がないか弱いぐらいだったので、安定していて振り回されるようなことは全くありませんでした。
10分ほど？空中散歩を楽しんで、ゆっくりとワイヤーが巻き取られて、伝えた通り足だけ着水。
一眼レフが防水でないため、その瞬間頭の上にカメラを上げて守りました。（大丈夫でしたが保証できませんので真似しないで下さいね！当方自己責任の覚悟があってやっております）

9:40に迎えにきてくれたので朝ごはんもゆっくり取れましたし、12時前にはホテルに着いたのでお昼からも十分に時間を使え、とってもコンパクトでおすすめです！

ハワイは何度か来ていますがこのようなアクティビティは初めてでした。
思いきって参加して本当によかったです。次は180mに挑戦したいと思います。
「150mだと東京タワーの３分の１かぁ…」とか変な心配はいらないですよ！(笑)
とってもおすすめです☆☆☆

We went to the venue as a family of four. There were three participants, and I attended as the photographer and videographer. First, the kind staff took the visitors to the practice area by shuttle. It was scheduled for the arrival day, but unfortunately, it was canceled due to rain and strong winds. Perhaps because there was no contact person available on-site, we received a message more than two hours after the meeting time. (Before that, I had confirmed with the Japanese staff at the hotel to postpone it, so it was fine.) After that, we kept postponing while watching the weather throughout our stay, and finally, we were able to go ahead on the last day♪

On the day, there were six groups with 12 people, and everyone except us was foreign. They provided various explanations while we were moving by boat, but I was anxious because I couldn't understand English. However, they later gave us a simple explanation in Japanese, so it was okay. Also, perhaps out of consideration, they talked to us a lot, and when they asked, "Honeymoon?" and I replied "Yes," they clearly extended our time in the air longer than for the other people. My husband, who was a bit nervous at first, was very impressed by the view from above.

I thought $30 for the photos was a bit expensive, but I decided to order them. They took pictures with the plane and captured us both smiling and enjoying ourselves, so I think it was worth it. I was extremely satisfied. It was worth waiting until the end without canceling♪

それから、滞在期間中ずっと天候を見ながら延期し続けて最終日にやっと決行出来ました♪

当日は、6組12名で私達以外は皆外人さん。ボートで移動中に色んな説明をしているけど、英語が分からず不安でしたが後で日本語で簡単に説明してくれるので大丈夫でした。また、気遣ってもらってか色々話し掛けてくれて、「ハネムーン？」と聞かれ「はい」と答えると他の人達より明らかに飛んでる時間を長くサービスしてくれました。初めはビビり気味だった主人も、上空からの景色にとても感動していました。
写真も30ドルで少々高いかと思ったけど頼みました。飛行機と撮ってくれてたり二人共笑顔で楽しんでる所を残せたので良かったかなぁと思います。
大大大満足でした。キャンセルせず最後まで待ったかいがありました♪

On April 20th, my whole family took on the challenge. The wind was strong that day, and once we headed out to sea, the boat rocked quite a bit, so I thought for sure someone would get seasick. Fortunately, everyone returned in good spirits. Therefore, I recommend that even those who are somewhat resistant to motion sickness take some anti-nausea medication. However, parasailing offshore was absolutely amazing!

4/20に家族全員でチャレンジしました。
当日は風が強く、沖合に出るとボートがかなり揺れたので、必ず誰かが船酔いすると思いましたが、幸い皆元気に戻って来ることが出来ました。

Honolulu X-Treme Parasailing Tour Adventure [700ft, 850ft, 1000ft or 1200ft Rides]

This tour was one that I had the most apprehension. The crew gave use great instruction and made the experience one that we will never forget. I highly recommend to all who visit Honolulu. The takeoff and landing was very smooth and the boat ride was awesome!

The pickup was smooth, and even though not much Japanese was spoken, the guide's response was good.

However, I felt a strong sense of being out of place since everyone around was a foreigner.

I think I would have enjoyed it more if there had been Japanese customers with us.

It seems we were at the highest altitude, but I couldn't really tell while flying (laughs).

I experienced a bit of seasickness, but the view from above was truly spectacular!

We took a lot of photos, and it became a great memory.

ピックアップもスムーズで、日本語はあまり通じないものも、ガイドさんの対応もよかったです。

しかし、周りが外国人ばかりでアウェー感がハンパなかったです。

日本人のお客さんと一緒だったらもっと楽しめたと思います。

私たちが一番高い距離だったみたいですが、飛んでる方はよく分からなかったです(笑)

多少の船酔いはありましたが、やはり上から見る景色は絶景でしたー！

写真もいっぱい撮っていただき、いい思い出になりました。

First time parasailing, we did 600 feet and it was a blast! It was nice having music to listen/sing along to while the others were parasailing. Definitely recommend buying the card with the pictures on it. It was cool that Kevin (who was driving the boat that day) had family in Manitowoc, Wisconsin!

It was a refreshing and pleasant experience beyond what I had expected!
It was exhilarating to view Diamond Head and the town of Waikiki from the sky!
Seeing Hawaiian Airlines flying above was also enjoyable, as it felt so close!

My mother, who was initially scared, was completely satisfied and wanted to fly again at 150 meters!

Since taking photos from the boat can result in backlighting, I recommend capturing video instead!

This was an amazing Thing. The 2 guys operating the boat were great. They took a lot of pics and got probably the $$ shot of the year withplane in the Background. If they ask if you wanna get wet...DO IT. They dipped us in the water 3 times and drug us a Little bit which was AWESOME!!! When I come back I will do it at least twice.

I participated in the 3:00 PM session. The other participants were all foreigners. The staff couldn't speak Japanese, but they showed us a paper with explanations in Japanese, which was reassuring. They also took photos during the parasailing, and you can buy a CD-R with those photos for $30! Speaking of dry riding, you can choose a ride that doesn't involve splashing into the sea, so since we were cold and our bodies were freezing, we opted for dry riding. The staff was very energetic and it was a lot of fun! The ride time was long, and we really enjoyed it!

The weather was great, and it felt wonderful to have a panoramic view of Waikiki and the ocean from a high vantage point. It was very enjoyable! I thought being pulled by the boat would be fast and scary, but it was actually a very graceful experience. It was the best. Although they don't speak Japanese, they handled boarding and disembarking smoothly.

However, I felt that adding $30 for photos on top of the price was a bit steep. A friend who used another parasailing tour mentioned that they were able to take pictures with their own camera, so I was a bit disappointed about that. (But after seeing other people's posts recommending the photos, I regret not buying them...)
