The pickup took quite a while. We waited for 40 minutes, and to be honest, we were worried if it would even come. We only caught one fish, and the fishing gear was quite old, with squid being the only bait available. There were about three people on the same tour with us. There was no instruction on how to fish, so I guess only experienced people could catch anything? But I can only say that the crew's cheerfulness and the location were absolutely fantastic!

What an amazing time we had on our sunset cruise that left right outside of our hotel (Hilton Hawaiian Village). The staff on the boat were incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them as we sailed along. The drinks and snacks were great, and the best part of all were the breath-taking views, especially watching the sun set! We went with another couple with whom we were traveling, and we all put this activity toward the top of our list of memorable things we did while visiting.

We were the only Japanese people there. Hardly anyone spoke English. Suddenly, there was cheering and applause as everyone teased a man who arrived late. The man stylishly apologized, and even though the departure was delayed, it turned into a fun event! Last time I got seasick on a dinner cruise, so I was advised not to drink citrus beverages the day before to prevent seasickness, and I felt great!

As we boarded the boat from the port and transferred to the real submarine offshore, I felt a mix of half worry and excitement about seeing the underwater world of Hawaii. It was a time when there were hardly any Japanese people around, but the Japanese explanations through the headphones helped me understand well, and I could clearly see the corals and fish on the ocean floor. Fortunately, towards the end, I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle swimming as well.

Despite the voucher confirming a pickup at 7:25 AM in front of the hotel, I received a phone call in English just before leaving my room on the morning of the event, stating, "The pickup has been canceled, so you need to get a taxi on your own and come to the meeting point." I also had to cover the taxi fare. The sudden change communicated in English caused me to panic, and with an unstable Wi-Fi connection and no Uber account, I struggled to communicate the meeting location clearly to the taxi driver I managed to flag down in front of the hotel. I got lost in the harbor as well, and the taxi fare ended up being over $20. I felt deceived. The catch was decent, but the fishing gear was quite old and in poor condition, though I was glad to catch something. If it weren't for the last-minute change in transportation, I would have been nearly completely satisfied. I was really disappointed by the abrupt change. I recommend being prepared for self-arrival in case of transportation changes (confirming the meeting location clearly, having taxi fare, and having the Uber app ready) instead of relying solely on the provided transportation.

My parents booked a Japanese tour for their first trip to Hawaii at 10 AM. When the time came and the shuttle didn't arrive, I called and was put on hold for 4 minutes for confirmation, only to be told that it was unavailable and they wanted to change it to 11 AM. Reluctantly, we changed it to 11 AM, but with the explanation in English, my parents dozed off inside the submarine, not understanding the language. This special trip to Hawaii to honor my parents was ruined. I don't think I will use this service again.

I didn't have high expectations after reading the reviews, but it was as I anticipated. The tour itself was interesting, but considering the price, even half the cost would still feel a bit high for what it offered. You can see some fish, but there seemed to be fewer than at an aquarium. There weren't many varieties either. I was fortunate to see a sea turtle in the distance. Be careful as I almost got seasick. If you're someone who can't do snorkeling or diving and doesn't mind the price, it might be enjoyable.

I have been interested in the boat that departs from the Sheraton, my regular accommodation, for a long time. I can't believe I can book it here! From what I've read about the experience, there are not many Japanese people on board. That was certainly true. There were only a few Japanese passengers during my trip. I couldn't understand the captain's talk, but I enjoyed chatting with a lady from New Zealand who sat next to me.

Also, I quickly changed the Mai Tai they handed out right after boarding to juice (since I can't have alcohol). The background music and the feeling of the wind were wonderful, and since we went quite far out, it was a graceful and lovely time. I even managed to communicate with the boys in a spot where the waves were quite rough, all with smiles (^^). I'm really glad I experienced this. I will definitely book it again next time!

Unlike the hot daytime, the cool breeze while swaying on the boat made the sunset and the night view of Waikiki incredibly beautiful. I was a bit nervous since there were hardly any Japanese people and everything was in English, but Captain DJ took care of us and spoke to us in broken Japanese. I thought there might not be a sunset cruise for just female friends, but it was incredibly pleasant, and I'm glad I went. It might have been better that it wasn't aimed at Japanese tourists, as it allowed me to really immerse myself in the travel experience.

By the way, the pickup service is only available from limited locations, so I recommend negotiating to be picked up only for the return trip.

暑い昼間と違って涼しい風が吹く中、船に揺られて海の上から見る夕陽とワイキキの夜景がとっても綺麗でした。日本人がほとんどいないし、英語のみの対応なので大丈夫かなと緊張してましたが、キャプテンDJがわたしたちを気にかけて片言の日本語で話しかけてくれました。女友達同士でサンセットクルーズもないかなーと思いつつ参加しましたが、最高に気持ちよく、行って良かったです。かえって日本人向けじゃなくて、旅気分に浸れて良かったかも。

This was an amazing experience! I went with a group of friends and we all loved the environment of the cruise ship. The food was pretty amazing and the live jazz performance was very enjoyable. My favorite was definitely the Polynesian live dance performance. This 30-minute performance was the highlight of the night. The dancers wouldn't just perform, they would interact with the audience by giving high fives, springing peace signs at unexpected times and made our corner of the ship laugh the entire time. If you get seasick easily, I would recommend taking some kind of precaution/medication (the servers were able to provide some medication, too) since a few of my friends did start feeling queasy for a little bit and had to spend some time on the lower deck. However, don't let motion sickness keep you from the cruise! It was still altogether wonderful time.
