We participated as a family of five, bringing my elderly mother along. Since the children are picky eaters and couldn't have lobster, we chose the buffet. The dishes were served in order, and everyone was well-mannered, allowing for a smooth experience. The main dish, roast beef, was thick, tender, and delicious.

Our assigned seats were centrally located, surrounded by a mix of Asian and Caucasian guests, giving a balanced international feel. What surprised us the most was that the stage was right next to our seats. The dancers performed, and the singers sang with great energy! I was thrilled, wondering if they would even do a fire dance. It had been quite a while since I last rode a catamaran, so it was a nice change.

At this time of year, I think you don't have to worry too much about the weather, but since there was a hurricane, I wanted to see the beach as soon as we arrived in Hawaii, so I made a last-minute reservation.
It was fine to book the day before, and I received an immediate confirmation email. There were no issues with check-in on the day.

Boarding involved getting wet up to about my knees, and there’s a rule to shake off the sand from your sandals before getting on. The seating is first-come, first-served, but everyone was courteous and shared.

Once we set sail and headed out, we caught the wind. The front of the boat took quite a bit of spray, but that’s part of the fun of being on a catamaran.
While it was calm at the beach that day, there were significant waves offshore, and we glided over them.
The first half was quite an intense activity, but on the way back, we enjoyed a peaceful sail while taking in the views of Diamond Head and the streets of Waikiki.
I was able to take some great photos.

The downside was the location.
Based on my old memories, I headed towards the Sheraton, but I couldn't get through from the pool area and had to take a long detour from the parking lot to reach it.
It seems like you could access it from Kai Market or around the pool, but it felt like it was limited to Sheraton guests.

乗船は膝くらいまで濡れる感じで、サンダルは乗る前に砂を落としておくルール。座席は自由な感じで、早い者勝ちだけど譲り合いながら。

出航して沖に出ると風を受けて進みます。前方はかなり波を被りますが、それがカタマランの楽しさ。
この日はビーチだと穏やかでしたが、沖は結構な波で、滑空するように波を乗り越えます。
前半はかなり激しいアクティビティでしたが、後半の帰りはダイアモンドヘッドやワイキキの街並みを眺めながら、穏やかなセイリング。
いい写真撮れました。

難点は開催場所。
昔の記憶でシェラトンの辺りに向かうとプールの辺りから通り抜けられず、駐車場の方から大回りしてたどり着きました。
カイマーケットか、プールあたりからはいけそうなんですが、シェラトンの宿泊者限定っぽい感じで。
ルート案内がもう少し情報があれば。

They wanted to renew their vows on the beach, but with my father having Parkinson's, I knew it would be a difficult trek through the sand. While searching, I came across the Star of Honolulu. They had everything we were looking for. My Father could have use of his mobility scooter, as the boat had an elevator. The dinner and entertainment were good, and the ceremony performed by the captain was intimate. The captain made sure that my father was comfortable and safe during the ceremony and paid special attention to both of my parents. It was a special time and one we won't forget.

Definitely 10/10 experience. It was my 2nd time doing it. This time I took my brother and his gf and hopefully next year I get to bring my parents. Food was delicious, staff was flexible and accommodating, views and vibe were great. I noticed the staff is so nice. They don’t rush you to finish your plate. They allow us to be moving/walking around in the boat throughout the whole time even if it makes it a little bit more challenging for them to be able to serve us. Non alcoholic beverages were great. If you like to drink alcohol you can just take a bottle and add your alcohol to their non alcoholic drinks. You won’t regret choosing this one!

I had seen several boats from the beach beforehand, so I knew their size, but I was most concerned about getting seasick from the rocking. However, that worry was completely unfounded.

The boat moved swiftly, cutting through the waves, and while it bounced up and down, it felt more like an attraction than anything that would make me feel sick.

We ventured far out to search for dolphins (which, if you're lucky, can be seen from the boat), and with unlimited drinks like Mai Tais, we could enjoy our beverages while on board. The staff were very attentive, checking in when our drinks were running low and skillfully maneuvering the boat, providing a comfortable service.

We headed back to shore a bit early, and my husband and I remarked how it was still bright even though it was sunset. However, we stayed on the water until the sun had fully set and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. I joined the tour on the same day spontaneously, and I'm really glad I made the reservation. It became a wonderful memory before returning home!

It was an amazing experience! I chose the plan with transportation, and it was comfortable both going and coming back. As soon as we got on the boat, there was an all-you-can-eat selection of cheese and fruit, and drinks were served right away. However, when I ordered a tropical drink, it was too sweet for me to enjoy. I should have gone with regular champagne instead. But the food was delicious, and the dancing and singing were so much fun—it was the best!

I decided to join a cruise for a meal, enjoying a leisurely time around Waikiki.

The weather was nice, and the breeze felt great. We saw the hotel and Diamond Head, enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and then had dinner. This time, I chose the buffet. There was plenty of food, and I was completely full.

At the end, there was a show, and the kids were dancing happily. It was so much fun!

We decided to go on our own by bus instead of requesting a shuttle, and we didn't have any trouble finding our way.

Once we boarded and were shown to our seats, several meals were already prepared. Light snacks like cheese and crackers were set up buffet-style in the aisle. Shortly after, we set sail. We received two drink tickets, so we placed our orders and made a toast.

It seemed like there would be some time before the lobster was served, and since it was just around sunset, we relaxed on the deck, enjoying the view and taking photos. The sky was somewhat cloudy, but just enough of the horizon was clear, and the opposite side with Diamond Head was glowing red and beautiful.

When we returned, the lobster was served, and we were excited! It was a bit difficult to eat since we weren't used to it, but it was incredibly delicious!!

After finishing our meal, we went back to the deck. Since it was Friday, we watched the fireworks from Hilton, and after a while, a performance started, which really got everyone excited.

It was the last day and the final tour, so we were able to wrap up our trip on a high note.

食べ終わってまたデッキへ行き、金曜日だったのでヒルトンの花火をみて、戻るとしばらくしたらパフォーマンスが始まり、盛り上がりました。
最終日で最後のツアーだったのでいい気分で旅を締めくくる事ができました。
