The sunset on the cruise ship coincided with the buffet line, so I couldn't fully enjoy it. Since you can't choose your order, depending on the timing, you might not have high expectations. The food was quite rich in flavor, which might be a bit much for the senior crowd. The live show was lively, with dancers giving it their all, and it ended with a DJ creating a club-like atmosphere. I chose a course without seat reservations, but since I had an 11-month-old child, they guided us to a corner sofa seat, which allowed us to sit side by side facing outward and enjoy a great view. During sunset, we were taken to the upper floor, where we could see a beautiful sunset. The lobster and steak were, of course, very delicious, and the two complimentary drinks were generous in size, so we were more than satisfied. During the meal, we enjoyed lovely Hawaiian music, and after the ship docked, we watched hula and haka dances, which was very exciting. I was happy that many people interacted with my small child. It was the best memory!

My wife and I enjoyed the sunset cruise. Although it was an issue or two, they should try to be resolved the last time I took the cruise. I was able to be out on the outside on the deck at the sunset. Got to take some amazing pictures . This time we are in line for the buffet when is sunset. I think the time should be adjusted if the time is earlier when the sun sets. The whole purpose of a sunset cruise is to be able to watch the sunset and not be called to the buffet table to get your meal. My wife really enjoyed the Buffay food. She said it was very good as a picky eater. She ate a little bit of everything and enjoyed it.

I will verify the timing of other cruises before I would take the cruise again as the whole purpose was to be able to watch the sun set

There were many people from Japan, and many of them participated in aloha shirts and dresses. I think the Japanese guests probably chose the lobster course, but even the one-star option was more than satisfying! The crab legs, in particular, were very delicious!! We were a little apprehensive about getting a boat from the sandy beach, but it was all beautifully managed and we enjoyed a really good trip and a lovely sunset.
We were able to sit still and enjoy the drink and nibbles we had brought with us, while others enjoyed moving around onto the net to enjoy being really near the water. Even a little child under one year was there!
I would recommend this to anyone. A few steps through water and up into the boat led to a wonderful trip.

Disappointing evening

Pick-up was perfect, complimentary Mai Tai was lovely, but the sunset was hard to savour in the middle of queuing, collecting food and eating! The food was okay.
We chose the trip for the sunset and traditional dancing, but the dancing was evidently lovely BUT hard to see as the girls were not raised up and one needed to look round other people and tables.
We had a nice wander to the top of the boat which was great! BUT the ‘entertainment’ was done by a guitarist who couldn’t sing above a certain pitch and girls who followed his very out of tune singing. I suppose the other passengers got up and took part, as they felt that was expected but we found that part excruciating!
Overall not worth the money.

The cruise and dinner content were satisfying. We could also see the fireworks from the Hilton from the ship.

We used the 3-star window-side guaranteed plan for our honeymoon with my wife. This is my third time boarding since I was a child. The seating space on the ship is narrow, but considering the age of the ship, I think it's reasonable. Some people have given poor reviews about the food, but considering the cost of living in Hawaii, I actually think it's quite good. Plus, there are shows included with the cruise. The sunset is very beautiful, and the night view of Waikiki is also stunning. The shows are impressive for what is offered on the cruise.

On the last day of our family trip to Hawaii, we decided to participate in this activity to create some memories. I had been on a catamaran a few times in Hawaii (with another company), but it was the first time for my husband and our 2-year-old daughter.

There aren't many activities available for children, so the fact that our daughter could join us for free was a deciding factor.

The meeting point was inside the Outrigger Reef. It was beautifully renovated, and the Holokai counter was easy to find. We got a little lost with the map provided, but the hotel staff kindly helped us.

From there, we walked to the boarding area near Halekulani.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our trip, but just as the sun was setting, a gap in the clouds appeared, creating a truly wonderful memory.

Here are a few concerns that led to a four-star rating:

【Concerns】
- When we boarded, we were the only Japanese among about 30 people. It was fun to experience the international atmosphere, but the crew members did not speak Japanese, so those who are concerned about this should take note.

- The boat allows drinking. We chose not to drink, but the first drink is included at no extra charge! The international guests were drinking a lot and having a great time. Families with children or those who are not comfortable with drinking should be cautious.

- My husband and daughter got seasick. Depending on the weather, the waves were quite high and the boat rocked a bit. If you're prone to motion sickness, taking medication is a must! Also, please be aware that the ride lasts about an hour and a half.

【懸念点】
・私達が乗船した際は、30人ほどのうち日本人は私達だけでした。海外の雰囲気を味わえて楽しかったですが、乗務員さんも日本語は話せない方なので気にする方はぜひ。

・飲酒可能な船です。私たちはお酒がのめないので選びませんでしたが、一杯目は追加料金なくお酒を楽しめます！海外の皆さんはたくさん飲んで大変盛り上がっていました。
子連れやお酒のノリが苦手な方は、注意が必要かもしれません。

・夫、娘は船酔いしてしまいました。天候にもよるかと思いますが、沖合は割と波も高く揺れました。苦手な方は酔い止め必須です！また、1時間半ほど乗るのでお気をつけください。


全体として非常に楽しく、海外の雰囲気を一緒に乗船されたみなさんからも感じられて、楽しいひとときとなりました！カタマラン船は料金も各社違うのでぜひ参考に比較いただくとよいかと思います。

For our honeymoon, we chose a 3-star cruise. To be clear, as a standalone cruise, it doesn't have many standout attractions. It's just a simple cruise where you go a little offshore, anchor, and then turn back, which isn't particularly exciting. However, when considering the overall experience of the tour, I think it offers value for the price.

We don't usually dine at high-end restaurants, but for our honeymoon, we wanted to enjoy a slightly special atmosphere in a casual way, and this was perfect for us. The food was delicious, and the shows towards the end, including hula dancing and haka, were quite impressive. We received a framed photo as a gift before leaving, which made for a lovely keepsake.

A 5-star experience that requires full formal attire is, frankly, too high a barrier for the average person in Japan for various reasons, so unless you're someone quite exceptional, I strongly recommend this 3-star option.

Seeing the beautiful sunset from the boat was amazing, but before that, I enjoyed swimming in the sea and jumping off the boat. In the end, I was very satisfied to see the sunset over the Diamond Bed and the night view. I highly recommend it.
