It included transportation, but since it didn't stop at our hotel, we walked to the hotel across the street. The large bus arrived on time and took us to the boarding area!

As soon as we got off the bus, we boarded the boat and took some commemorative photos! Later, a staff member came around to show us the pictures they took! We decided to purchase one as a keepsake (laughs). Then, we enjoyed the breakfast we had been looking forward to. The morning coffee was really great!

Inside the boat, the air conditioning was on, so I think short sleeves might feel a bit cold.

We received an explanation about the whales from the captain and headed to the deck! The blue of the ocean was something you can't feel in Japan, and the view of Waikiki getting farther away! Plus, Diamond Head was clearly visible! I was already satisfied with just that.

And on that day, we were able to see whales! In fact, multiple times!!! We even encountered a mother and baby whale! There is a limit to how close you can get, so they were a bit far, but we could still see them!

The captain announced the direction of the whales, so everyone moved in unison to follow the report. Even if you don't understand English, you'll be fine just following everyone!

Before we knew it, it was time to disembark, and we took the bus back to the hotel.

Personally, I thought it was really great! It was nice to relax on the boat in the Hawaiian sea, and seeing the whales was truly moving! Since it was a large boat, I don't think you would get seasick (but it's better to take motion sickness medication just in case).

There were plenty of restrooms! They weren't super clean, but it was totally fine! I want to go again!

バスに降りてすぐに船に乗り、まずは記念撮影！後ほど、係の人が回ってきて撮った写真を見せてくれます！私たちは記念に購入しました（笑）そして、楽しみにしてた朝食をいただきました🍍朝のコーヒーがめちゃくちゃよかったです☕️

船の中はクーラーがかかっていたので半袖は少し寒いと思います。

船長からクジラの説明を受け、デッキへ！
日本では感じられない海の青さ、遠くなっていくワイキキの街並み！そしてダイヤモンドヘッドがよく見える！これだけで満足でした😆

そしてこの日はクジラを見ることができました！しかも何回も！！！🐳親子のクジラにも遭遇しました！近づける範囲が決まってるので若干遠くはありますが見える！！！

船長が◯時の方向だよとアナウンスしてくれるので、みんなその報告を受けて一斉に移動📢英語がわからなくてもみんなについていけば大丈夫です！！！

あっという間に下船になり、バスに乗ってホテルへ戻りました。

個人的にはめちゃくちゃよかったです！とにかくハワイの海で船に乗りながらのんびりできたのもよかったし、クジラも見れて感動しました！大きな船なので船酔いもしないかなと思います！（一応酔い止めは飲んでおいた方が🙆‍♀️）

トイレもたくさんありました！すごく綺麗なわけではないですが、全然大丈夫です！また行きたいです🌴🤙

I participated with excitement, knowing that whales come to the waters off Hawaii only during the winter months for calving and raising their young. I was able to see the baby whales a few times! However, they were far away and small, and it was just for a moment, so if I could wish for more, I would have loved to see them even more. The check-in location was mixed with other tours from the same company, so if you arrive early, there will be staff to guide you. Those who arrived just in time seemed to check with others around them and lined up.

I was prepared for seasickness, but the rocking was mild enough that I didn't need any motion sickness medication. The whales were quite far away even when we reached the point. In fact, the whale that appeared unexpectedly was the closest one we saw. The view from the sea was also fantastic.

This was my third trip to Hawaii, and for the first time, I participated in a solo trip. The large bus arrived right on time at the Sheraton hotel. This time, the tour consisted entirely of international guests. When boarding the Star of Honolulu, the captain welcomed us. There was a photo opportunity with the crew as we entered the ship. Later, the crew developed the photos and offered them for sale, which I believe was around $26. Many people chose not to buy, but I purchased one as a keepsake. By the way, they only accept credit cards.

Once on board, I quickly enjoyed some drinks and light snacks. There was a booklet with explanations about whales in Japanese, which I read briefly, followed by an explanation from the captain about whales. As the ship set sail, the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea was fantastic.

After a while, the captain announced over the intercom, "There are whales at the direction of ◯ o'clock (in English)," and everyone hurriedly pointed their cameras to look. Fortunately, we encountered a mother and calf whale. It was a bit disappointing that we only saw them spouting and didn't get to see any larger behaviors, but just being able to encounter them was great. I captured it all on video.

We were blessed with wonderful weather, making it the best cruising experience.

運良く親子のクジラに遭遇できました。
今回は潮吹きだけで、大きい仕草を見れなかったのは残念でしたが、遭遇できただけでもよかったです。

お天気にも恵まれ最高のクルージングになりました。

On the day of the reservation, there were quite a few passengers, even standing room only. As we set sail, the waves grew higher, which was exciting! I had a great time laughing with other customers. We were supposed to see Diamond Head, but before we knew it, we made a U-turn?? I thought the swaying of the boat was part of the captain's technique to entertain us, but... due to bad weather, it ended abruptly after about an hour. All the announcements were in English, so it would be nice if announcements in other languages could be provided as well. I think it's great that if you miss out, you can either reboard or get a refund.

I was moved when the theme song "YMCA" by President Trump played during the second half of the Hawaiian show. It was tough to catch a taxi on the way back since the hotel wasn't on the shuttle route. It would have been nice to have guidance for the return trip.

This outing was not what I expected. Given the description of "turtle canyon" I assumed we were going to some rather exotic location to swim and snorkel with the sea turtles. As it turns out, its just about a mile off of Waikiki Beach and it was full of boats with other snorkelers making it quite a crowded experience. Although we did see two turtles (or maybe the same turtle twice), it certainly wasn't the grand adventure it was made out to be. The water was quite murky and the coral was anything but pretty. And on top of all that, we could have booked directly with the tour company for 25% less. That was disappointing.

I will say the crew was very pleasant and the sail after was good.
