I boarded this ship for the first time in 13 years to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had a memorable time fitting for the occasion. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne and two drinks, along with a large lobster and steak. The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied with the performances and dancing. The sunset over the unobstructed sea was beautiful, and since we boarded on a Friday, we were able to leisurely watch the fireworks from the ship. There was also transportation to and from the hotel, which made it very reassuring. I highly recommend this tour.

Even when we got close to Diamond Head, we couldn't see any whales, and I started to give up a little, but then I spotted a spout in the distance. At that moment, the boat sped towards the whale, and we got close enough to see it!

After that, the boat kept pace without disturbing the whale, allowing us to see it with Diamond Head in the background. It was such an emotional moment!

As the boat started heading back to the harbor, the other passengers returned inside, but while watching the whale, I was able to see a huge leap from quite a distance!

On the way back, we also spotted two groups of whales, so I think it's a good idea to look out for spouts. The pineapple banana bread provided after boarding was also very delicious, and we could enjoy it with tea or coffee inside the boat!

乗船後に提供された軽食のパイナップルバナナブレッドもとても美味しく、紅茶やコーヒーと一緒に船内で食べることができました！
クジラの説明など日本語でのアナウンスもきちんとありますので、英語がわからなくても大丈夫です。生き物ですので毎回見られるとは限りませんが、多少遠くても船が近づいていってくれるので、参加して良かったと思います！

I was worried that my daughter, who easily gets seasick because it's a large ship, might have a hard time, but despite taking motion sickness medication, she ended up feeling sick. 😭 She couldn't even go out on deck and just sat in a chair, waiting for the return to port. I participated in February. At first, I was really wondering if I would be able to see them, but I was able to see four of them! When we went out to sea, they stopped the boat's engine and drove slowly and quietly, which allowed us to see two of them up close. I was moved by their size. They seemed to be playing together, possibly a mother and her child or siblings.

Before heading out to sea, we listened to explanations about safety and the characteristics and ecology of humpback whales inside the boat. I read in reviews that there would be staff who spoke Japanese, but it seemed there weren't any when we participated. I was with a friend who spoke English, so she briefly explained the content to me, but I thought it would be nicer if there were written explanations in various languages available (though I could generally understand without them).

The pineapple cake served as a snack was delicious, and I ended up asking for a second helping!

　出航後沖に出るまでは、船内で、安全についての説明やザトウクジラの特徴や生態についての説明を聞きます。日本語が話せるスタッフがいると口コミに書かれていましたが、私たちが参加した際はいないようでした。英語が話せる友人と一緒だったので、彼女に内容を簡単に教えてもらいましたが、各言語の説明書きなどが置いてあるとより親切かなと思いました。（なくても大体分かりますが）
