My husband and I took the Star of Honolulu Dinner Jazz Cruise on 10/22/2017. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. You are treated as royalty as soon as you check in. On check in, we found out that this level of dinning (there are 3 levels) requires men to wear long pants. This was booked as a surprise gift for my husband and I totally forgot to have him pack pants. The staff was great and got my husband a pair of slacks that they keep on hand. We were escorted from the check in to the boat and then by another attendant to the ship were we took photos with the Captain. Then the luxury begins. We have complementary welcome about cocktails and 3 amazing appetizers. Our waiter Forrest escorted us to our table. The meal is 7 courses, but each is small so you are able to finish. Each dish was amazing. At desert you are offered a coffee and can include an addition of coffee liquor. They have premium spirits aboard and you get two free drink tickets in your package. There a constant flux in hula shows and then a jazz show. They were very good. I highly recommend the rainbow colored martini, yummy. The staff all went an extra mile to make this the best experience ever.

The large windows made it very easy to see, which was great. Those who participated in the normal submarine mentioned that the windows were small, and they had to lean in to look out. However, I think it was just luck, as I didn't encounter any dolphins or turtles. Inside the submarine, it was very cold, so I used a hoodie and a shawl. The monotony and the cold made me feel sleepy in the second half. Since I rarely get to go diving, I think it was a unique experience.

It was amazing.
I participated based on the experiences of others.

The view while feeling the sea breeze was fantastic, and the night view of Honolulu from the sea was very beautiful.
You can drink as much alcohol or soft drinks as you like, so no worries!
There are proper restrooms too, haha.

There are no Japanese people or Japanese staff, but everyone is cheerful and friendly, so those who can't speak English don't need to worry at all.

This was my second time in Hawaii, and the view from the yacht was amazing. I took some motion sickness medication just in case, but I didn't feel sick at all and completed the schedule without any issues. There were only a few Japanese people, and I think most of the others were from English-speaking countries.

While enjoying a delicious Mai Tai, I thought how great it would be to talk with these people, which strongly motivated me to learn English.

Another snorkeling tour I had booked was canceled the day before, and I was in a bit of a bind. I searched online just in case, and found a tour that I could join the next day, so I signed up. I thought it would be nice just to get on the boat and go snorkeling, but it turned out to be even better with drinks and cruising while listening to music. I had a great time. We were the only Japanese people there, but that also added to the overseas experience, which was nice.

There were three groups of Japanese participants, and about 30 foreigners. The explanations before departure and on the boat were all in English, so I was a bit anxious and didn't understand well. The fireworks were beautiful. The best spot is at the back of the boat. The food was also delicious.

Everyone except us were Western guests. The crew only provided explanations in English. Still, we managed to understand that the first cup of guava juice was free and got it. After that, the other guests were having a great time drinking beer and wine. We, however, couldn't quite understand what to order, so we held back and didn't drink. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the refreshing thrill and the amazing scenery, and the return trip was a leisurely cruise. I regret not studying more English; we could have enjoyed it much more.

I carefully selected this tour for my one-week trip to Hawaii. I participated with my children, aged 6, 9, and 12. There were quite a few moments of turbulence, and my middle child felt a bit seasick, but we enjoyed the views of Diamond Head from the opposite side of Waikiki Beach and the sunset over Waikiki. The Mai Tai was delicious, and we had the best time. I believe this tour will definitely satisfy you!

The ending time wasn't too late either, so it was nice that I could walk back to the hotel alone safely. The further we went out to sea, the more the boat rocked, and in the end, I felt seasick and just sat still, but I was still satisfied. It was refreshing to view the night scenery of Waikiki from the sea, and I thoroughly enjoyed a different kind of night view. The atmosphere on the boat was always high-energy, thanks to the Western guests. Although there were many clouds and we didn't have the best sunset, the view of Waikiki changed as it got darker, and towards the end, the boat was beautifully lit up, making it a lot of fun. During my time, the percentage of Japanese guests was just under 20%. It was no problem at all if you couldn't speak English. The only thing I said was, "Pineapple juice, please" (alcohol and soft drinks were all-you-can-drink). Just watching the Western guests having a great time was enjoyable.
